Learned him in 3 minutes day one. He's not the best killer in the game, but he screams potential.
-
Out of all the original killers, Blight no doubt stands out as the scariest.
-
Normally running Iron Will on Ash, I wasn't even aware this was a thing at all. Thanks for letting me know, so I can actually try this though!

Because what other choice does Nurse have? She moves extremely slow. Half the perks would be utterly useless on her if they didn’t.
Touche, but that's besides the point. Nurse's mobility is completely dependable on her blinks, yes, but why can't other killers whose powers are also nothing more than a basic attack with extra steps not have synergy like Nurse? Blight with instadown perks is then limited as a pure m1 killer vs the exposed, and Pig suffers from the same with her long but slow start up ambush lunge.

First thing, that boy need to turn faster
Second thing, can someone explain to me why when we look to the right while running when we are in a lethal rush... that boy still continue to run straight forward to the left?
He drifts as though he's running on ice. The turn rate add-ons lessen that feel dramatically

RIP Pyramid Head and Huntress then.
We all know what their addon reworks and "slight" nerfs are like.
Huntress will have literally nothing useful and PH will be f tier after the changes :|
If you're trying to joke about Billy, that's really dated. He needed an update to his power, albiet one that didn't make his power entirely mindless, but that's old news now.
As for Huntress and Pyramid Head's add-ons, there's not much to change drastically IMO

Awhile ago they changed Myers' duration add-ons; but nobody really talked about it for reasons I can't remember. Does anyone know any link to their new stats / if they're less weirdly coded and designed now?
Additionally, what on earth is up with his new EW3 animation? It is completely still and I genuinely thought it was a bug when I saw it.
The first time you stalk to EW3 is slow to build up. After that, the rate of stalk returns to normal.

Just played my first game with it, I combined it with Umbra Salts (turning add-on) but I'm still not sure how I feel about it, anybody else tried it out?
Isn't that the green add-on that basically disables Rush turning, but grants 2 charges and high lunge mobility? If so, it is not great by any means, especially within indoor maps.
-
@Envious1 said:
Yeah I've heard he's pretty clunky indoors so I'm surprised you enjoyed him on an indoor map. Thanks for the response.
Out of all the indoor maps, Midwich is probably his strongest with how open the hallways are. Léry's has similar halls, but are too cluttered like Hawkins.
-
Despite not having any problem with this killer, this is why I always save shards for original killers in case this type of frustration pops up.
-
I absolutely love The Blight. I'll be playing him more than any other killer for the time being.

Not having a map is just lazy tbh.
They were focusing on map updates btw, which is still refreshing.

Should I recollect all the statements that support this idea?
Only thing I personally find bad is the new hook bug that's appeared. Otherwise, fun killer (that definitely requires time to learn), beautiful maps, good to eh perks, and great QoL improvements. What's your take?
-
I've had more fun with Blight than any other killer that's been released. I get he just came out and I doubt you've played enough of him, so Imma drop this for ya.
-
Tbf, you should really compare what his attack looks like in third person. He whips that thing over to his left then drags it back to his right quickly.

@FrootLoops said:
sole survivor. doesn't really work with anything
It's purpose is not to synergize with other perks (except OoO), but to counter the killer if they are using aura reading abilities.
Unfortunately, the devs haven't fixed Sole Survivor since Chapter 14, meaning the bug where it only gains 1 token still exists to this day. Since its last "bug fix", it was more of an unintentional severe nerf to the perk's info value.
-
It was a test, not the official thing. After some feedback, they removed it for adjustments, so they can release it confidently.

They are refering to the Trapper resisting the Entity's control and was physically tortured by the Entity until he gave in.
Its also why he has hooks stuck in his flesh.
Taking that into mind, it gives a good idea of how The Entity's relationship with other killers are. The Clown was just vibing in the fog, Plague basically worships it, and certain killers like The Doctor for example were physically mutated by it. Some are willing and some are not and it's safe to say only few were unwilling. As for licensed killers, Demo was snatched by choice while most of the rest were very willing to oblige. Michael seems to not give a damn about The Entity as he kills on his own terms, and Pyramid Head behaves as if he's still in Silent Hill. Poor Bubba is still under a controlling relationship with The Entity just as he was with his own family.
-
Shred's hitbox was recently buffed, making it so much better when used. There just hasn't been alot of Demo players around for ya.

How will this perk affect if at all dream pallets?
Why would it block dream pallets if they're not even real to begin with? That would look really goofy for a survivor that is awake.
-
A cosmetic for The Shape that has an overall better look, mask included. Not a fan of the derpy DbD design we have now. Perhaps the 2018 rendition?
-
Do you care to elaborate?
-
The Shape without its power functions like any base speed killer except Evil Within 1. When you stalk to tier 3, but don't want to use it yet, be sure it has alot of progress beforehand.
Starting a trial, use Michael's lack of Red Stain and Terror Radius to your advantage, but keep in mind you cannot gain bloodlust in a chase. If it is not cutting out, advance to tier 2, and now Michael should be at 16m Terror Radius give or take what perk/add-ons you do or do not bring.
Tier 3 speaks for itself when applied to your knowledge of loop skill. It is mainly using your Terror Radius' small range to get close with less reaction time from survivors, even if they have Spine Chill.
Evil Within 3 pro tip:
- Since it has faster base kit Bamboozle without the block, window long wall jukes do not work on The Shape.
-
KILLER PERK
BLOODSHOT
Your prey's attempts to slow you down fuels your thirst for blood.
After recovering from a successful blind, move 4/5/6% faster for 15 seconds and gain 15/20/25% resistance to stuns for the duration. Any successful attack while this perk is active will cancel Bloodshot.
-
Spine Chill is so expected, idc for it anymore. Besides, it only tells survivors the killer is looking at you. It doesn't specify that the killer is actually behind you when you think he's coming from the front or side for example.

If the hill bug is fixed, they need to push it by itself. Waiting 2 weeks to fix something that broken is garbage.
It's expected for most games to drop several fixes in one big patch rather than hotfixes.
-
Looks like not many players check social media posts of how Chapter 17 has the hill bug fixed.

I’d say it’s unlikely seeing as they kinda gave new line and the Wes Craven Estate “the middle finger” by going around them by going to the maker of the Ghostface mark when they couldn’t secure licensing with them instead.
You make it sound so harsh. All they did was contact the appropriate IP for Ghostface: R.J. Torbert.
-
First Twitter, now here?
-
-You don't need the Chewed Pen and Olsen's Address Book add-ons (AKA power recovery stacking) to be good with The Ghost Face.
-The Clown is actually good if you know how to properly manage and aim bottles
-Jeffs perks (not Distortion, plz buff tokens) are actually one of the best survivor perks in the game. They are unfortunately super underused.
-The dream state on hit by The Nightmare should be changed to only increase the dream timer by 25% / 50% rather than instant dream transition. This should compensate for the fact that he has an immensely strong kit.
-Survivors that DC should be killed by the Endgame animation, counting as a sacrifice. Remaining survivors should have an increase in points for the Abandoned event as well.

In terms of having fun, FT13 is the better game. It’s definitely a lot less stressful and I like that you don’t have to rely on having good teammates to win. You can literally just survive the night if you can’t get objectives done. Plus, playing Jason feels like a total breeze. You actually feel strong, especially once you’ve played the game for a while. I can’t even recall the last time I didn’t wipe out the entire lobby when playing as him.
It’s a shame that the lawsuit stopped any new content from being added into the game, as I would love to see where the game would be right now. But, it’s still a strong game as is.
There are so many unreleased kills that were posted on YT by modders, and they are so much better than the ones already in the game. If there's any DLC that's worth buying for the game, it's the kill packs.
-
Evil Within 3 could use an update to a degree, but not in a negative way.
Myers is easily one of, if not the most balanced killer in the game.

I think if they are in a building it will tell you regardless. I might be wrong tho
Certain counselor perks reduce the odds that they will be seen by Sense, even in Rage. Any hiding spot regardless hides the aura, but hiding in an outhouse or tent is tricky if Jason uses Sense during the enter animation, because he will see you until the animation ends. When Jason enters Rage, hiding spots will no longer block your aura, so your only hope is the perks that counter Sense.
-
Content: DbD > F13
Gameplay: DbD <<< F13
-
He's not even that strong.
If he's in EW3 avoid getting spotted by him and loop him for as long as you can. If he has infinite 3 though, you're screwed unless they're a bad chaser.
-
It has to be The Alchemist. You hear a sound identical to the one of the serum being injected in the tome cutscene. The big question is, what did it do to him?
-
No bias at all, I love Midwich and Léry's for their incredible atmosphere. The claustrophobic nature makes chases intense.
My least favorite goes to Hawkins Laboratory. That map can fall in a flaming pit of garbage.
-
Nurse daily exclusively on the killer end, maybe Hag's too.
Otherwise, I skip alot of survivor dailies that I can't do because I don't own the required survivor, and the daily RNG keeps giving me those.
-
The sequels are really bad, but maybe the second one has a bit of watch value. The first is honestly the only good one, and the new movie picks off from only the first as well.
-
Less people have spoken about it, and that I find to be a good thing.
-
So...buff Coulrophobia, but also nerf Coulrophobia?

It's outclassed by Prove Thyself. I used to LOVE it before the Ruin nerf, but now I just don't see it as worth the perk slot.
Sadly true.
Combining them is godlike
Undeniably though, you can't shave off as much time on a gen anymore with the current bonus like you could before, and that's why Stake Out is powerful in its own right. Somehow, jumping up the now mere 1% to a 2% can make a difference.
-
Did you forget Stake Out has the OG great skillcheck bonus now?
Not only are you getting a Guaranteed great skill check, it grants a noticeably bigger bonus to gen progression!
Stake Out should be getting alot more attention for how much it makes great skill checks more rewarding since it has the orignal value before 1+ survivor gen speed nerf happened.
-
Having each character hold a carefully chosen personal perk to be exclusive to them would make killers more interesting and survivors to be unique for once outside of appearance.
-
This is very cursed to look at without P3 icons

I would love the new Billy, if the devs haven't changed his new chainsaw mechanics and just put the new music on it.
Nothing is really different with his gameplay at all. You now just have to for once be mindful of using your power. Huge mistakes are being made if you actually managed to overheat the chainsaw.

@Orion said:
Keep using them. If people don't want to play the game, they can deal with the DC penalty.
There CAN be players that don't care and march through the trial, and those are the more respectable players. Too bad there's not that many though.

Even this one if we don't know which mori do you have. We can't know if you'll kill us as soon as someone unhooks us.
Of course you don't know which one it is until it happens, but that doesn't mean Cypress is unfair by any means.
Imagine thinking Cypress is OP because you don't get to know what the killer was using. You should be catching on that the killer has it if they're holding a secret offering, but have only been sacrificing survivors the entire time.

I’m not giving the killer any more points let alone another kill for a s***y match.
You're still giving the killer points for DC'ing FYI. Bonus points if you DC'd while already on a hook.

Even a Cypress Mori? By far that's the only one that is balanced. The others I can understand perfectly.
