-Spine Chill doesn't work on Victor
-He's much faster than Charlotte
-Pallets crush him
-He can only track blood
-He doesn't trigger a chase
-He can only pounce, no other interactions (except for lockers in the next hotfix)
-Even if he downs a player, he can still be crushed by another player in proximity
-Victor has no Terror Radius, yet emits loud noises
Why would he need a red stain?

I mean the new books/short stories are ######### disturbing to where I would consider it adult. An example is a pregnant woman dying in a ventilation system, getting possesed, and dead bodies of children, yeah I'm don't think that's meant for kids.
Yet you see the material sprawled around children's blankets or shirts. Wether you think so or not, kids go for that stuff lol. It's pretty wierd to think about.

I'm just questioning why Blood Favor is a HEX PERK with a COOLDOWN
Given the length of the cooldown, why is it even a hex to begin with?

Agreed, and anyone who says it's a kids thing have obviously not read the books, even if they're sold in kids/teens sections.
The books go both ways for the kids/teen demographic, but that's it. Anything else in relation to FNaF you can find in the children's clothing/toy aisle at a local store.
-
FNaF is more of a kid targeted IP anyway. Springtrap isn't a well known character in horror too.
-
You only ever need to stealth if you're around the killer. I have no patience for survivors that sit in a bush all game.

Yeah I agree, the crowns were fun. are the fourth anniversary crowns actually exclusive to the fourth anniversary event? I read that they're bringing crowns for the newer characters released afterwards but how are people going to earn them? That's the other thing they need to create more clarity on, are these event items going to be exclusive. It seems the devs want to have it both ways, create so-called exclusive items to drive traffic, interest, attention, and engagement to the game during the special events but then leave the doors wide open for these items to return in another form. Part of the appeal of special limited events is obtaining items that are exclusive to that event and can't otherwise be obtained elsewhere.
According to leaks, it is implied the crowns for Felix and The Blight are going to be instant auto rewards. I only say this because we are also getting Frosty Eyes for Blight, Deathslinger, and I think The Twins as well.
-
Starting with this coming Advent Calendar, anything that this not the Anniversary or Halloween events will be considered as "celebrations". Themed assets will still be around along with a log-in reward system. This means only Anniversary and Halloween events will have all of the effort and focus.

We have seen this ping pong ######### inject himself quite a few times over the years, and I believe the devs even referred to him as their take on Jekyll & Hyde at one point. Maybe here's a thought. True Blight was the first transformation. It's wild, disgusting, chaotic. Maybe after a while he reverted back. Anything is possible with the killers. Maybe what we see in his actual trailer is his final transformation. The Entity got him hooked, and he can never go back again. His serum is much more refined, which can explain why his normal Blight skin doesn't have all the Pustula Roots and Entity Claws out of his back.
That's not that much of a stretch honestly. You might be on to something with that whole revert then and change again later. He did look really twitchy, weak, and withdrawn in the trailer with the ragged cloak already on. I know BHVR will have more to tell with crazy Talbot, so I doubt they'll say anything now.

I mean I would assume it goes from his more normal looking skins into the more mutated ones.

He looks kinda normal here.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/2KH2V6B9QZUR/blight2-png.png
Then his mouth falls off and he wears a hoodie.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/AGSEYOZI8FIV/blight3-png.png
Then finally he's just a straight monster. I personally use this one.
Really like the third combo you have there, but I'm talking more about what the game shows his normal design to be.
-
@NomiNomad said:
Well, idk if this is proven, but since we see him transform a few different times in his trailers, and all his little animatics I think he may transform multiple times. If I remember right, his Eternal Blight skin comes straight from a plant, while his regular skin comes from his serum, so it may have something to do with that. If he can transform multiple times, kinda like a Jekyll/Hyde thing, it's perfectly reasonable to say both are canon.
The lore itself and certain add-on descriptions suggest he does not revert to his normal self after transforming. Also in the Tome V story, it's easy to say he hasn't transformed yet up until that moment the Pustula Canker took a hold of him. Now that begs the question if he changed from the plant overdose or the serum overdose.

So raise the model and the camera by the same amount? I dunno man, not seeing the issue here.
The arms you see as the killer are what most importantly need to be touched.

No, you don't get it. His current POV is like that because they shoved him into the ground by over a foot. When we had the killer intro bug we saw the first-person killer model from the third-person. If they didn't shove him into the ground, you'd be right. But since they did, they'd literally just lift up his model several inches and everything would stay more or less aligned unless they really have no idea what they're doing.
What I'm saying is normally you'd be moving the actual location of the camera, which would require them to re-angle the arms. But they don't need to move the camera at all, since it's already attached to the model in the correct position, and the model just needs to be scooted up.
Of course, their weird ass pipeline that can make this game run as poorly as it does may mean they actually do need to reposition things, which would only be a further indictment on the poor state of affairs their development pipeline is in.
The model is not attached to the camera. The model was placed a such to align with the camera itself. If the model was raised without proper adjustment as it needs to appropriately match with the camera's placement, the killer would see Blight's hands smacking air above the pallet or not realistically grabbing a dying survivor. Not sure wether they'll only touch up the arms and hands or re-do the entire first person model.

They clipped his model through the bottom of the world in order to lower his PoV. That's the kind of spit-and-polish we should expect from slightly redone vault and break animations.
They can't simply raise the model with the camera. If they did, all of his animations would be out of alignment. They will have to likely reanimate/reposition his arms.
-
One thing to remember is that this change will take alot of time. To increase his POV is to rearrange all of his FPV animations.
-
This is irrelevant as hell. If MMR was re-enabled, they would have announced it.

1) I was playing with it turned off and never realised it had been turned off already so idk what that says. It was a few games each as nurse, billy, wraith and legion
2) It should probably be changed.
3) I still feel some killers in some circumstances might need bloodlust 1 (and some never do), so maybe it should be just be something for certain killers. Bloodlust 2 and 3 aren't necessary for anyone imo. But I don't want it to end up a nerf just for weaker killers and have everyone just switch to Freddy and spirit, I could do without seeing more of those two, especially the former.
4) Had a pretty chill week with uni stuff and my partner's getting back in a few hours after being away working for weeks so I'm excite
Agreed. If they're still keeping BL, just permanently cap it at tier 1. 2 and 3 are just bad killer cheese.
-
My gameplay hasn't really changed except for VERY specific window loops on two maps. Other than that, it's almost like nothing happened.
-
That's not how it works. Evil Within tier 1 is designed to never gain bloodlust.
-
Is there a way I can unsee this post?
-
Mentally he should be 5 years old combined with his feral behavior. Physically however, he should be the same age as Charlotte. Remember he didn't grow equal to Charlotte, so he's just biologically the size of a toddler.
-
On PS4 with crossplay on, I find him very exciting to face. It's unfortunate not many players know how to use his power. I have come across maybe 2 Blights out of 10 that were REALLY good. Shame he disappears into the "non-meta" killer list to collect dust just like any other killer that the community doesn't see as Spirit/Freddy/Nurse tier.
-
Speedy killers won't get affected as much.
Killers with m1 powers could be effected negatively in some aspects.
Slow killers are screwed lol.
Can't wait to see how feeback goes.
-
Since the license is based on the 1978 film, this licence is so stingy, I am in high doubts that we'll see anymore cosmetics for Laurie and The Shape.
-
Females can have raspy voices, and I'm really okay with Élodie having the voice she has. That's three steps ahead compared to the last bunch of female survivors who sound like they're enjoying themselves more than being in pain lol.
-
The whole point of Bubba's Chainsaw is that it is an AoE (Area of Effect) power. He's strong when everyone's huddled together.
-
I embrace the removal of the colors. Made me feel like I was playing a game with PS2 level atmosphere.
-
Business needs to move on at some point, and dedicated servers can be a hassle to support, especially for a game that cannot expand under legal issues. The game can still be played, but it is only receiving one big last update, while also reverting to peer to peer servers.
The lawsuit is still ongoing though, so BHVR isn't touching the F13 license until that is cleared up.
-
Blight is one of the few killers that thrive on Lampkin Lane. Rushing after a survivor between fence paths? Stronk af
-
It's become so overused, the first minute of the trials result in probably 4 out of 5 totems simultaneously cleansed, basically wasting the killers' 2 perk slots. This is the reason I use other hex perks like Blood Favor or just any perk that's not a hex in general.
-
Not really any infinites, but the new bush locations have to be a bug. Lampkin Lane hasn't been so survivor sided anymore since the Balanced Landing change back then. Really depends on the killer and experience they carry for the map to be "survivor sided".

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/200220/is-there-anyone-using-the-blight-serum-add-on
Ive been grinding out the survivor rift, finished it last night. Played a couple killer games before stopping. I plan on testing it on all killers for fun. I didn't like it on Myers or oni or ghostface. I had my stalk 99 and went to kill someone but blasted off into space instead. Same with oni. I would hook someone, forget I had it, then go to absorb their blood and end up rushing into the hooked person. I tried it on blight and nothing happens. It just doesn't do anything, might be broken or intended.
So I keep getting a lot of the serums but honestly it feels like a hindrance. I've actually played worse because of using it. But oh well it's for fun anyway so I'll keep trying it out on the rest of the killers.
Obviously you didn't notice, but the serum just adds one extra token to Blighted Corruption, making it a total of 6 rushes instead of 5.

Sales can happen at variable dates, so that's on those who spent what they had at the time, me included. Our patience wasn't anticipating this to happen.

Should've been set to your dead hard button instead of your main power button. As is it it's pretty stupid on most killers in an unfun way.
It's mainly good for map patrol and post-hit gap closing unless it's a cluttered tile in an indoor map. Once you put it on, you have to remember that you have it while playing. I've managed to snag 4ks thanks to that beneficial speed. Some killers I agree can't use it well.

not really, an interesting thing i did find when using it is as hag i couldn't place traps but could still tp and then rush afterword.
tbh i would have done better if i didn't uses it as her but thats my fault for not thinking it through. i did use it on clown and it was pretty good tho.
Yeah apparently killers that have alternate power inputs can loophole the ability like Clown reloading, Cage of Atonement, or Hag/Freddy tp.
-
I'm referring to Blight Serum, not Refined Serum. That add-on is garbage anyway, even if it is now a permanent new add-on.

As somebody who plays him on PS4, he’s completely fine on console. I have no issues with landing hits.
People are over exaggerating with his power on console. It is not as bad as PC people say it is or even other console players themselves. they are simply inexperienced with turning.

I can see how his height makes using his power difficult but some killers can benefit from a short stature. Hag for instance is tiny and when looping certain loops you can't see her. The only thing you have to go on is the red stain and killers can learn to walk backwards to hide that
The thing is though is Blight is not short by any means. Survivors can look over obstacles while Blight can barely see over a vault.
-
Devs really should have thought this through when you're racing console text with PC keyboard type speeds.

It isnt perfected but it either needs to be nerfed or they need to give survivors tiles to actually use.
From what I've seen, tile spacing wasn't very drastic at all. You still have Macmillan's 3 LT walls in one place etc. Bamboozle is only strong when there isn't another tile with vaults close by within 15 - 20 meters. Nerfing Bamboozle would kill the perk entirely.

Gave it a try for 1st week. Console survivors are children lost in the fog. Felt as if Behaviour really enabled those bots, that were leaked some time ago.Barely doing gens. Wandering around the map like they see it for 1st time. Helpless against any killer. Killers were majorly camping. Turned it off. Felt like a blessing.
What kind of rank were you in?

As I always say, you have to have a special connection with Clown to main him. Which is why I haven't replaced him with more viable Killers. I can't just stop playing him.
I can call myself grateful for Clown being my first main, along with a good handful of killers before and after him. Had I not played him alot day one, I would have the "Clown is bad" mindset like everyone else. Clown has alot of sentimental value to me, so I cringe when I see a Clown horribly make use of The Afterpiece Tonic lol.
-
Legion is strong when the player is experienced not only as a killer in general, but the specific killer they choose as well. If you're saying Legion is bad with no substance to support that statement, there are obvious mistakes on your end.
-
That sounds a little biased towards just the survivors. A killer would have some trouble going against possibly four keys, toolboxes, or strong flashlights with no knowledge of them pre-game.

He also has the ability to shock everyone around him at the same time to see where everyone is at. It's so annoying, I could be I unspotted the entire game and be doing gens but he can still find me in seconds because of that stupid power.
That's just how Doctor works, there's no stealthing a killer whose power is designed to reveal locations and hinder survivor interactions. There are counters to his power, like staying out of his Terror Radius, running Calm Spirit, or memorizing when he gains Static Blast, so you know when you can enter lockers to avoid the shock.
-
He's a semi stealth killer, so he gets easier approaches than Oni.
-
The moment my friends and I encounter Spirits, Nurses, and Huntress at an alarming amount of trials, we turn it off. Every other killer is fair game, unless the three said killers are played at an inexperienced level.

I am very surprised nobody has said Pyramid Head. My goodness do they play so scummy. Freddy is a close one too.
You beat me to it. Pyramid Heads are INCREDIBLY scummy. They'll tunnel you to death, making sure you're tormented until death, which leads to my other complaint:
No one really plays him to his full potential with his fake-outs and lack of cage uses at subtle rates. The flick bug that debuted with Descend Beyond has only made them scummier.
-
Tbh, it makes sense The Blight doesn't have his own map. In Talbot's lore, he is known to travel through different realms at will, so every map is universal to him in reality.
