I think my first message was a bit ambiguous. What I wanted to say was that it seems like it's going to be changed in the coming mid-chapter.
...Which also means my prediction regarding its timing was correct after all, heh.

Just be glad you never played when there was a 3B nurse if you had youd realize how fine she is atm. She takes a lot of work to master and you might not know this but there are objects and places she cant blink through or if she tries she will commit to a faulty location by mistake.
What was bad in the past doesn’t justify it being slightly-less-bad now. Bad is still bad.
-
The bad apples that find it entertaining to go as hard as they possibly can, just to deny the opposition a chance to even play.
That, and hackers.

This mid-chapter, it would appear.

During those bouts of rubberbanding, the ping skyrockets for a few seconds. I've definitely seen it reach upwards of 800, and then quickly back down to ~100.
Though, it might just be a lagswitcher, who knows.

Just for you. Took 2 seconds on a YouTube search and got 2 very good and known players.
Watching the first video, there's a very fundamental issue there. Yes, the "counter" is to make distance and to stay out of LoS when she's charging. However, the former is made almost entirely irrelevant by add-ons, and the latter is map-dependent. Both of those are the reason why Midwich is stupidly good for Nurse, for example.
The second video is...strange. The background footage shows a Nurse on Ormond who doesn't appear to be that good. So yes, the counterplay works. Also, he mentions DH as a counter, and... yeah, no.
-
Green Glyphs, White Glyphs, event points. Quite a lot of benign possibilities there, actually.
-
I mean, I'm not even a fan of the genre, but I did kinda like how loud it was? It's really quiet now.
-
I had 3 yesterday. Dunno what you mean.
-
Prove Thyself, the rest I would've wanted are already in there.

Wish I would encounter a Pig these days.

I could see Ghostface or RE getting a tome.

Ghostface, Resident Evil and Sadako license holders are looks like have good relations with BHVR. I'd expect tome for those licenses. Stranger Things is imposible tho. Freddy, Pinhead and Myers are looks hard. Bubba, Ash and Pyramid Head maybe.
Jill got 5 sentences for her bio. I really doubt we'll get an expanded tome story for the RE characters.
-
Given the creative liberties BHVR seemed to have gotten with the Ring chapter, maybe there's something in that?

More harassment and insults from the survivors. It's truly appalling how this type of behavior isn't even considered a bannable offense.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/732RO6DLQTVI/rampant-harassment.jpg
These type of teams do gens at a neckbreaking speed while all I can do is secure one hook at most and camp that person to death during endgame. There's simply no alternative and the game doesn't want to give me appropriate survivors after enduring this ongoing bullying.
9k? 11? Your games must be over within 5 minutes for that to happen consistently. The worst I walk away with is ~18k.

Monstrous Shrine.
Never thought I'd see the day.
Also, Overzealous already? The perk's not even a month old.

I think that means we needs like 750,000 players to do challenges...?
Looks like I was wrong.

Find the invite deliver it to piller/alter and survive to EGC
You say that as if that first action requires you to find the invite, and then bring it to the altar. These two actions are the same one.
-
“Update” as in they’re likely bugged, yes. Hooks are currently spawning without regard for the distance between them, it would seem.

That… doesn’t sound right. Unless there really are 2 million players out there, that seems Utopian.
We’ll see, I guess. I imagine there will be a spike once players finish the solo challenges.
-
I don’t think you can past the Personal Contribution bit, effectively meaning every player is hard-capped at how much they can progress it.
Considering the current rate, it makes me wonder how many players were spamming the previous challenges like this to make it go that fast, opposed to now.
-
I remember when they were talking about this, calling it “aimdressing” and stating that they were working on changing the order of checks so that you wouldn’t miss because of it.
-
I have a theory that the bloodweb really wants to push perks that appeared previously (bought or not) and perks that you’ve used in-game in the last few games.
-
Mhm, seen this one. Haddonfield has this too.
It seems like it forces specific tiles (ie, the harvester) to spawn with a hook in that position, but then forgets to check if there isn’t already one in place, or vice versa.
-
Dunno about Huntress, but I'm pretty sure Spirit didn't have legacy skins.
As for your question, I imagine most players (that still have it after the mass wipes) left by now.
-
No official date has been announced. We just know it's tentatively planned for a summer release. If that's to be kept, it's most likely the next mid-chapter.

I could have sworn I heard them say during the stream that we are getting everything we got last year and then some. If I remember correctly we had a bloodhunt during the 5th anniversary. Maybe I'm wrong.
I'll add that I may simply not have seen it if it was announced. I haven't been keeping up that well these past few weeks due to uni stuff.
-
I don't recall seeing this? We had one not too long ago, though.
The flans serve as similar purpose, anyway.

Unless you're in a hurry,,just w8 ,,though tbh they just announced the change not the actual date it will be in effect
Given the ‘summer’ release window, and the fact that new content patches likely won’t drop grand changes like this, the coming mid-chapter seems our best bet.

Oof, can't say I am impressed.
I kept my prime exclusively for DBD cosmetics, but I can't bring myself to buy her. 😂 Sucks to be me I guess.
You can just redeem it now should you change your mind later. Haddie herself isn't going anywhere, but this skin is.

If you'll excuse the Dutch, I can confirm it does go up to May of 2023

Any memory in every tome. Clicked stop, clicked play, turned autoplay on and off. Nothing works.
They're fine for me. I'm steam, though, so I might not be of much help further. Make sure to report it in the bug section of the forums and hope for the best.
-
Do you mean autoplay? Also, which ones specifically?
-
I've definitely been booted the title screen, but that was always after my internet died, or when steam maintenance hit. Maybe either of those happened by pure coincidence? It could very well be possible that they sent you back to the menu screen, but without any other context that's hard to judge.
-
The amount of times this has happened. Especially with the 'cooperate with another survivor' challenges.
-
why would you uninstall over something as minor as that. If you want to quit the game, just do it.

Quite frankly, I don’t think they can handle that. Keep in mind that the killers are effectively the new gameplay every chapter, bringing new interactions, animations, models, the whole shebang.
Doubling that workload for a game that’s already very bug-prone and we got a guaranteed mess on our hands.

A mod here said gate regression was tested, and was recieved poorly. I can personally see why it would be a poor decision. Maybe there could be a perk centered around it.
Maybe a buff/overhaul to Remember Me?

@CosmicParagon said:
Where are you guys finding the new PTB notes?
The thread was made in january.
-
Its only real issue is when it's used when the gates are open and the unhooked survivor is protecting the unhooker, who's injured from the save. Both are effectively invincible for 16 seconds, which can leave the killer with no options at all.
-
All hooks on that map stay upright, it would seem.
-
To add to this, it appears that a lot of survivors' lobby animations are bugged in general.
Here's a list I've gathered, and I imagine there are (many) more:
Dwight: No longer bites his nails, now has a very weird 'skip' in his fingers once he finishes his standard 'loop'.
Feng: She very stiffly drops her arms when starting her looking around animation, then stiffly folds them back again. Can't recall it looking that unnatural before.
Tapp: No longer goes over his head with one of his hands. Something appears broken in his normal cycle, as his right arm dips slightly in an abrupt fashion.
Adam: His left arm does a very weird shrink as he goes into his looking around animation.
Jane: Enters her second looking around animation dropping her hand, as if holding an item. Looking closely, she actually is holding a mysterious quasi-invisible item, with an effect that reminds me of Wraith's shimmer. Very weird.
Steve: No longer does the neck-roll animation. Likely an issue somewhere in his normal cycle, but can't really tell where it goes wrong.
Felix: No longer cracks his knuckles, instead goes into the same animation as if he were holding an item. Presumably the same issue as Jane's, but I haven't spotted the mysterious item.
-
I mean, a keen eye can still see that he's in there, and he has very limited vision himself. Moreover, Dredge cannot instadown by default like, say, Bubba so I'd argue that it's not nearly as effective as a bootleg camping strat.

so let me get this straight, checking someone's profile so u can either dodge them because they might be cheating is stalking?
so you would rather let ur profile be private, get some people suspicious probably get reported falsely even tho u weren't cheating is perfectly fine?
and im pretty sure u can just disable the comments buts let's just pretend that nobody knows that's a thing
To be brutally honest, you sound rather paranoid of cheaters. They're not that common.
-
Why did I make my profile friends-only? Because I have no need to swim in salty comments, nor will I ever understand why some people thrive on such schadenfreude. I just don't want to deal with that #########.
Private Profile =/= cheater/hacker. It's more a sign of hypocrisy than anything.
-
Assuming there's no nightfall extension add-ons in play, you can take this as reference for a fifth of the circle.
-
I view it as the closest thing they can do to giving the ol' middle finger. Still doesn't make much sense, but a fragile ego does whatever it needs to do to protect itself.
That said, I've had my first killer dc two days ago in what feels like months. Even with the 4vs thing in mind, the survivor side dc's way more than the killer side, in my experience. Kinda odd, that.
-
That might be a bug.

Windows, lighting, and you can't hook survivors who have boil over in there (idk if hooks can spawn in there but they didn't for me)
I've definitely seen a hook inside the building on the second floor in the back. Dunno if that was related to the basement spawning there, though.
