Truth be told, I am not sure if it is worth to complain about this. I mean, it is undeniably annoying, but in the end it is just a few trials. It is not like it happens every single time or anything.
-
I never thought about that, actually.
I would say, Dead Hard and Infectious Fright.
-
Freddy and Quentin.

Yeah, I have to agree on that. It’s about time for us to get some Freddy cosmetics!
He has looked different in every film, so there shouldn’t be much reason not to have additional skins. The design from ‘New Nightmare’ would be interesting!
My second choice though is Myers.
Agreed. I am not even sure if I would use a cosmetic, since I genuinely like his P3, but even having that option would be nice.
Also, nice profile picture by the way. You 2018 members are lucky, you get to have those huge pictures.
-
None. Can't have been to Haddonfield if you haven't played DBD yet :)
-
Unlike his original power, current Freddy is pretty unfaithful to the 2010 remake.

I'd give anything to go back to the summer bbq days and the bloodhunts. I have no idea how they keep failing so hard at them...
So do I. We all miss the time when events were actually good.
-
Truth be told, I love how events used to be but I hate how they currently are.
-
It is hard to say, actually. Very few characters actually earned their player stereotypes.
But I would say that most Claudette Players are not exactly shy botanists.
Edit: I just realized that I am not the best person to say this because Claudette was my main for over 2 years... Well, it is too late now :)
-
Well, good thing I speak Portuguese.
While you do present some interesting ideas, I disagree with everything you've said about Freddy. We are already stuck with a watered down version of his new and boring power, and those changes would make him even worse.
Not to mention that a hitbox reduction would literally make him the only killer in the game with a reduced hitbox on his M1, which is definitely not balanced.

Yea it’s been a bummer ever since this was implemented because if I see a Laurie in the lobby but I’m not Myers or a player named “mori me Ghostface” but I’m queued as Trapper It’s impossible to switch and have a little extra fun.
Agreed. Those moments might have been rare, but they were fun, and I don't think it was worth to remove them in favor of a mechanic which probably is not going to work properly.
-
Freddy definitely needs a little bit more content.
-
I think it was made to prevent him from getting his power from 1 survivor over and over again.
-
I have absolutely no idea if this is intended or not. Unfortunately, going against Freddy is extremely rare for me, so I can't even test it.
-
Bubba isn't exactly cursed, people are just not willing to sit there while getting camped, even if the killer is not playing like that.
-
I definitely wouldn't want to see the Demogorgon. In the end it is just a wild, human-eating animal, who would not hesitate to kill.
And, truth be told, I would prefer if Ash was there with me, because he can actually fight against killers and monsters.
-
In my experience, Ace mains were a little bit more common in the past, but nowadays they are rare and elusive.
They are usually good at the game, despite their unorthodox builds.
-
It is strong, not even gonna question how strong it is, but it is not going to win your trials for you or anything.

Healing was changed and thus self-care nerfed in patch 2.3.0, which released sometime in October 2018. This is a gap of a year and 2-3 months. The stats finished being collected May 2021, which is a gap of 2 years and 6-7 months. More than enough time for it to be removed, or even dethroned from #1.
So no, not really.
Perhaps, but we also have to consider that not everyone dropped this perk as soon as change happened, not mention Claudette's popularity even among newer players.
To be honest, not sure if that is enough time.

unironically seeing self-care and noed there hurt me inside so much
Well, if those stats started to be collected in July of 2017, that alone explains Self-Care's position.

I never thought he looked good. But I’d doesn’t matter because it was never his face that I looked at.
Was it really necessary for you to tell me this?

Honestly I was fine with getting those add-ons removed. I don't like that they abused instasaw. I just wish they didn't mess with his base-kit.
Honestly, same. And I didn't even have a problem with Insta-Saw.
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
Apart from a couple of problematic add ons I do not remember anyone hating on old Billy.
Well, I believe none of us do, because no one had an actual problem with his base kit.
The only "OP" thing about Billy was the Insta-Saw, and even that can debatable.
-
I hate those character reworks, so the answer here is pretty obvious.
-
Truth be told, this is basically the only good thing about this event.
My trials haven't been fun, but at least I got my Pig to P3, just like I wanted.

Uh, no his add-ons literally didn't work and he needed more. He's fine as he is now.
You are right, I forgot about his add-ons.
They required a few changes too.
-
I actually considered buying it while my PC was broken, but then I remembered the sheer grind I would have to go through.

Tbh the only Comic book character I would like as a killer.
Chemist obsessed with causing fear dressed in a long coat, a wide-brimmed hat, sack hood, and a scythe would fit pretty well in the game.
Besides Scarecrow no one really from DC or Marvel since Scarecrow blends in well in the game because not a lot of them give a real horror vibe.
Like most super villains and superheroes are expected to have an epic battle while in DBD survivors are running in fear from the killer and Killers actually kill while Villains usually give a giant speech and such while trying to kill.
Scarecrow causes fear and mass panic. Most villains want money/power while he just wants to cause fear for his studies and sometimes even kill.
Lot of his designs look straight out of a horror film. Even the nightmare of dreams voiced him at one point.
Not into the whole comic dlcs from marvel or DC but if we were to ever get one then has to be Scarecrow since he is actually terryfing.
I am glad to see that someone agrees. I think Scarecrow would be the only Comic book characters who would actually fit the game.
And, truth be told, he fits DBD more than Trickster does :)
Since he is a character that deals with fear, I believe it would be interesting if his power had the effect of making each survivor see illusions or glimpses of their respective killer.
For example, if you were playing as Detective Tapp, you would suddenly see Pig lunging towards you. Kinda like Doctor, but with a little bit more of jumpscare.
I think it would be nice.
-
Well... I suppose you can send Bubba here if ya want to.
-
As someone who used to love Léry's, I respectfully disagree.
-
Scarecrow.
-
Can someone please get a verified Twitter account to talk about Billy?
Maybe that will fix this problem, since our endless feedback is apparently not enough.

I don't necessarily agree with this list, but I completely see the logic in it.
That said, I think you might be underestimating Plague.
Also, I'd swap Huntress and Pyramid Head. PPHead operates at a pretty consistent power, and isn't overly burdened by the map or actions of Survivors. Huntress, on the other hand, is VERY affected by Survivors as well as the map.
Also, food for thought: If the Trickster changes in PTB hit live, Trickster will down faster than Huntress. Other than "GOTCHABITCH" moments that Huntress can do around blind corners and the like, Trickster will actually operate at a consistently faster rate than her without being as hurt by misses or ammunition concerns. As such, PTB Trickster would theoretically be an A tier in your list.
Yeah, I get where you are coming from.
Well, it is hard to think of a reasonable position for Plague when you only see her once in a blue moon. But based on my experience, I would say the C Tier is appropriate for her.
As for PH and Huntress, I would say Huntress remains the strongest among the two, simply because of her range. The Huntress being a ranged killer (and in my opinion she should be the only one) really gives an advantage over PH. he is strong, granted, but he mostly relies on survivors trying to loop him in the usual and proper manner. As soon as they start to hold W, he begins to suffer. Huntress has no such weakness, and is capable of creating a lose-lose situation for the survivor on certain loops.
As for PTB trickster, I don't even want to think about him. I already hate this poor excuse of a killer, and now I am going to hate him even more.

Personally, the distance doesn't bother me since all other exhaustion perks, including Head On, gives more distance than Dead Hard.
I just dislike how the perk gives you immunity to all damage. If you used the distance correctly, then it should allow you to avoid damage.
I don't know, I don't think there's much you can change about DH to be completely honest.
Maybe they could make it so that you cannot interact with windows or pallets for a short amount of time after using it.
-
I believe DH's main problem is using it for distance, because it literally has zero counterplay.
Using it to dodge a hit can be annoying, especially when used on a situation where the survivor clearly made a mistake and deserves to go down. But this scenario is still a bit better because you can bait it. And even if you don't, the survivor will go down regardless.
However, using it for distance can buy an insane amount of time, which required zero effort to be obtained. This is definitely not okay, and it makes it so powerful that you can easily have trials where all 4 survivors run it:
This perk could really use a change.
-
As you've said, "if the devs would care". Which they don't.
Our voices and feedback is usually ignored unless the situation reaches an extreme level or a verified Twitter account talks about it.
-
I was going to talk about Freddy, but you've already said what has to be said.

Yep, for a community like DBD's it is too much to ask.
To be fair though some things need to be complained about for it be hopefully noticed by the devs.
( kind of like how coldwind still sucks balance wise for most killers )
Not that it really matters anyways.

People will complain about everything, especially if they get beaten by somebody who's better than them.
And against someone who's good at curving and timing with crack billy... woo boy they would be destroyed.
Yeah, I suppose that is true. Which is very sad, to be honest.
People should understand that just because they got beaten doesn't mean the other side is "OP" or "broken".
But maybe that is too much to ask.

Crack billy really only worked for good Billy's. Otherwise it was just better map traversal, depending on the map of course.
That is true, but I do recall seeing people complaining about it. Which, truth be told, I never really understood why.
The only "OP" thing about Billy was the infamous Insta-Saw, and even that can be debatable.
-
Yeah, I don't care much about them. I got it for the few original characters that I like to play, and that was about it.

Undo the Billy rework as a whole. It flopped. Nobody likes it. Roll it back.
The fact that it hasn't been reverted yet is genuinely concerning.
I mean, if the massive disapproval is not a good metric, then what is?

There is the Crack Billy, but I don't think it was complained about as much as Insta-Saw was.

I just want the overheat thing reversed. I'm not even interested in playing him, I barely did before, I just want to go against him again. I legit see him less than twins and hag. And uhh I would rather see him than twins or hag
Honestly, this.
I barely even played Billy before his nerf, but it was so damn nice to play against him. Now, he is easily one of the rarest killers to go against.

I almost never see it.

It actually is since the devs never really change anything to the live version.
Unless making it worse counts towards that.
This.
I think the only exception was Ghostface, but that is because he was so bad that anything would've made him better.
