Someone else sees the true power of Legion.
Indeed.
This killer has basically nothing going for him, and this feels weird to me because when I started playing DBD he was disgustingly broken.

I think this is the tier list that I agree with the most.
I am glad to hear that!

I think they're pretty cool. I like how you kept his dream pallets with an iridescent add-on. The add-ons look very fun to use, and I would love to use Paint Thinner!
I am glad to hear it! Thankfully most of Old Freddy's add-ons were already fun, and I sure did my best keep them that way, even the ones I had to change (Black Box, Swing Chains).
You know, Freddy truly tells a sad tale. He started as a perfectly designed killer, only to get undeservedly nerfed a week later. Then he eventually gets a rework which destroys everything that made him fun and unique. This isn't right.
Wish we could change it.

No, he was properly buffed and IMO is fine. You HAVE to know how to loop and rush gens to beat him. Since Billy was killed, he's my go to for sale mining.
Well, as they say to each their own.
I don't think he is broken or anything, I just think the buff was a little bit too much. I feel like removing his movement speed penalty while charging up the chainsaw would've been enough.
I think the whole "charges" thingy was unnecessary.

Man I forgot about Freddy, really goes to show how forgettable his current power is. I've probably said this before, but we can't forget that he needs this rework!
And so it is. I guess that is what happens when you take the most unique killer in the game and makes him the most generic one.
But hey, I am glad to see you like my idea! I aimed for what I believe it would be a perfect power, and it warms my heart to see that I might have succeeded.
Did you like the add-ons?
@Sonzaishinai said:
Depends what u mean by rework
If you mean the full rework like Freddy had then none and it shouldn't have happened in the first place
If you mean like doctor's or clowns where they just add to the excisting kit then a couple of killers could use that. Trapper and Myers come to mind
"If you mean the full rework like Freddy had then none and it shouldn't have happened in the first place"
-
This is obviously very subjective, but my answer will never change.
Freddy.
EDIT: And Hag too!
-
I definitely agree with you on that one. It would be nice if toxic players got stuck with each other in their little hellhole.
-
Freddy definitely needs a change. Being stuck with a watered down version of his new and boring power is not a good thing.
As for how to rework him, here is my idea:
Power: Dream Demon
Pull survivors into the Dream World
-Survivors who are awake do not see The Nightmare.
-Once targeted by The Nightmare’s power, survivors enter the Dream Transition for 7 seconds.
-The Nightmare’s Movement Speed Penalty for putting a survivor into the Dream Transition lasts for 1 second.
-During the Dream Transition Survivors can see The Nightmare intermittently and they suffer from the Incapacitated status effect.
-When the Dream Transition Lapse, the Survivor is pulled into the Dream World.
Once in the Dream World:
-Survivor’s auras are revealed to The Nightmare when they are outside of his terror radius.
-Survivors suffer an action speed penalty of 40%.
-To exit the Dream World, Survivors can find non-sleeping Survivors to perform a wake up action.
-Failed Generator Skill Checks can also wake up.
-Hooked Survivors wake up.
Special Ability: Dream Projection
-Teleport to a Generator in view. Releasing the button early will cancel the action.
-Survivors cannot interact with the targeted Generator.
-For each Survivor in the Dream World, the cool-down of using Dream Projection is reduced by stack-able 20%.
“You have nothing to worry about. This won’t hurt one… little… bit.” -Freddy Krueger
I also have add-ons, if you wish to take a look:
Wool Shirt:
-Slightly decreases Skill Check chances in the Dream World.
Sheep Block:
Slightly reduces Dream Transition time.
-Time to fall asleep is reduced by 0.5 seconds.
Kid’s Drawing:
Slightly increases Dream Demon range.
Garden Rake:
Slightly increases Movement speed while casting Dream Demon.
Prototype Claws:
Moderately increases Movement speed after successfully putting a Survivor into the Dream Transition.
Outdoor Rope:
While Survivors are in the Dream World:
Applies a moderate (-6%) Action Speed penalty to Repair, Healing, and Sabotage actions.
Nancy’s Sketch:
Moderately increases Dream Demon range
Green Dress:
Considerably decreases Skill Check chances in the Dream World.
Slightly decreases Dream Projection cool-down for each sleeping Survivor.
Cat Block:
Moderately reduces Dream Transition time.
-Time to fall asleep is reduced by 1 second.
Unicorn Block:
Considerably reduces Dream Transition time.
-Time to fall asleep is reduced by 1.5 seconds.
Swing Chains:
Survivors suffer from an increased Action Speed penalty of 60% after 30 seconds in the Dream World
Survivors only see glimpses of The Nightmare during the Dream Transition.
Nancy’s Masterpiece:
Tremendously increases Dream Demon range.
Jump Rope:
Tremendously decreases Survivors' Action speed when in the Dream World.
Blue Dress:
Moderately decreases Skill Check chances in the Dream World.
Moderately decreases Dream Projection cool-down for each sleeping Survivor.
“I had to keep you awake long enough so when you finally slept… you would never wake up again” -Freddy Krueger
Pill Bottle:
Survivors do not see The Nightmare during the Dream Transition.
Paint Thinner:
Tremendously increases Movement speed after successfully pulling a Survivor into the Dream Transition.
Class Photo:
-When a Survivor is pulled into the Dream Transition, all other Survivors' Auras are revealed to The Nightmare for the duration of the Dream Transition.
-Tremendously increases Dream Transition time.
Time to fall asleep is increased by 2 seconds.
“Z” Block:
Tremendously reduces Dream Transition time.
-Time to fall asleep reduced by 2 seconds.
Red Paint Brush:
-Tremendously decreases The Nightmare's Terror Radius.
-Tremendously reduces Dream Transition time.
Time to fall asleep is reduced by 2 seconds.
-Survivors suffer from a Hindered penalty during the Dream Transition
“Don’t be afraid. I can make it the way it was... Just the way you liked it” -Freddy Krueger
Black Box:
-Broken pallets are replaced by Dream Pallets
-Non-sleeping survivors cannot see or interact with Dream Pallets
“I can sleep… I just don’t want to” -Dean Russell
-
Not sure if he needs a rework, because the Bubba you know today already is the result of a rework.
I feel like he was a little bit overbuffed, but that is just my opinion. And when it comes to Bubba, I am definitely no expert.
-
It is precisely why I do not trust farming killers.
I still remember that day...The Withering Blight event, 2019. I was playing on Old Fractured CowHell against a Huntress, who was apparently farming with the other survivors.
However, as I was quietly doing my gen, she grabbed me and camped me to death, while the other survivors escaped.
Farming during an event can be nice, but keep in mind that there is always a risk.

It is not me, i am always playing on damn Swamp as Freddy.
Well, at least Swamp looks really nice in the Dream World.
I do not have seem to have a tendency to go to specific maps when playing Freddy.
I played, like, 2 trials today. One on Midwich and the other on the Temple of Purgation.

They shouldn't be making useless add ons though.
Like they either need to dump this Stridour change or change any add ons of killers that increase grunts of pain. Iron Will is pretty much brought every single game by at least one survivor, many times more than that. It's not right that killers have absolutely useless add ons
Agreed. I think they should dump this Stridor change and change Freddy's add-ons.
-
I think it is impossible to disagree, to be honest.
It is just like Monto said back in 2017: "It is like playing Where's Waldo, with Waldo standing in a white room by himself".
-
I feel like this thread was made for me!
I am a long time Freddy main and Old Léry's was my favorite map :)
-
The thing is, those add-ons already are pretty much useless, at least in my experience. I don't this changes makes much of a difference.
-
As another thread pointed out, it is sad that Freddy's clawmarks from his P3 were removed. That was a small, but really nice detail.
Also, @Zozzy , that is actually a very good idea.
-
Unlike some of the others, this even hardly provides fun by itself. It is useful if you have a character or two to level up, but if that is not the case then there is very little reason for you to keep playing it.
-
Well, I never play toxic and do not go full tryhard unless I absolutely have to, but if the killer has a clear lack of experience then I usually go for Totems and Chests to give them more time.
And I might even give them the kill in the end, but only if they are playing Freddy.
-
Indeed! The music department never fails to amaze us, and I am really thankful for that.
My absolute favorite is the All Hallows' Eve, from 2017. It is so good, and I would love to hear it in-game.
If you don't know what I am talking about:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0m4AVjPt7tU -
Well, technically every tier list is right and wrong at the same time.
Such things are subjective and depend a lot on who you are asking.
-
Agreed. It is not fair for those who couldn't enjoy the event because of countless issues.
-
Ah yes, the one killer perk which I never bothered to unlock.
However, judging by its effect, killing the obsession by accident must be very annoying.
-
It definitely should return to being a 4k.
-
Yeah, Dead Hard could really use a change. Using it for distance literally has zero counterplay.
-
It is okay-ish, I suppose.
I mean, at least it does its newly assigned anti-tunnel job.
-

I have literally spent the last week running anti-totem builds and my average team escape rate has absolutely plummeted.
A true hero.
-
So, instead of making a few changes to Spirit they decided to nerf Stridor?
Why am I not surprised?

Did you saw new survivor models on PTB. They destroyed Kate, Ace, David, Clau, Quentyn and others... They all are so bad...
Yes, unfortunately I just did. And I hate where this is all going.
-
None. Leave the remaining maps alone.
I can't take those stupid changes anymore. I can't.
-
So do I. The good ole' days when this perk was actually useful.
-
I'll do you one better:

That's what I've been doing, at the cost of ranks it seems. I feel lucky to black pip, hell a pip up would be amazing.
An unfortunate consequence. But it is better than going through the usual grind, so I would say it is worth it.
-
For some reason, events are capable of summoning the worst possible players, and this one has been much worse than others.
My advice? Focus on leveling up your characters and ignore toxic behavior. It will be better that way.
-
Probably not. And get ready for The Eternal Blight v.2 in October!
-
It has counterplay tho... It is just not that easy to find survivors willing to do what has to be done.
-
Oh my... Good luck, buddy. I hope you get better as soon as possible.
-
Bugs and more bugs.
-
Freddy should get a change, but that is not the reason. His power is not broken or overpowered, but it is extremely generic.
The only change he should get is his old power back, with a few buffs obviously.
-
Myers is definitely not as bad as most people say he is.
I would say that all he needs is his multi-stalk back.
-
Absolutely :)

I completely agree with you, but that might be "OP" for new players.
Everything is OP for new players. If we take that matter into consideration then every killer in the game needs to get nerfed.
-
They just need to revert his nerf. That is it.
The only "OP" thing about Old Billy were select few add-on combinations, and even that can be debatable. As long as they do not return in the same way, he should be in a good spot.
-
I think we won't and I hope we don't.
-
Great
-
You are very lucky! I can barely get one cake.
-
I would like to see a M1 killer with an interesting power.
-
It is decent, but it is not going to win games for you or anything. Using multiple Hex perks is usually a high risk- low reward strategy.
-
@Gwinty said:
I like playing Freddy. Mostly because he is...relaxing.
You can play Freddy and it is a very simple but fun game. Most times I use Dreampallets because I like the meme.
I still think he is a bit blant. I want to pull survivors into a nightmare and not into a slightly more blant version of the realm. So yes, some changes would be nice but I never got to know "old Freddy". I only know current Freddy and I do not think he is bad. He is pretty basic but you can have some fun games with him.
Old Freddy did what you've said: pulling people into the Dream World. He was much stronger than usually perceived to be, but was in need of a few buffs.
-
I think Nurse is a necessary evil. She was created in order to counter the insanely strong resources that survivors used to have back in the day.
But the thing is, in the highest level of play, survivors still have the advantage and there must be at least 1 killer who can go face to face with that.
Nurse is the killer in question.

People should not hate Self Care, they should hate Self Care-Users. Healing in some situations can be really smart, like I am not running it, but sometimes I wish I would be able to heal myself to go for a save or to tank a Hit.
However, as long as people waste 40 seconds on the other side of the Map to heal through Sloppy Butcher, Self Care will always get Hate.
@Topic:
Self Care as well. Like, back in the day, I hated it when a Character I was about to prestige did not have it. Now, it is whatever, I never played with Self Care (unless for a Challenge) since the release of Plague, where I dropped the Perk.
Agreed. Self-Care's main problem is the people who use it in the wrong way.
And hey, you dropped it when Plague released? That is actually impressive! I only did it when Blight released.
