But what if the Cake is buggy?
I'm sure you have more in the back

Cake
-
No more what?

@Mandy said:
And how do you propose this will work?
That would require the game to check all PC files not just game files which would be incredibly invasive. Also, people can always use Discord on their phones.
Or, give players an option to choose if they want SWF teams in their lobby or not

Like in the title, I just chased the survivor 1 min and 3 gen pop after 44 seconde the 4 the gen also and the last gen it's because I camp on survivor for get a 1 kill, do if you don't want the killer camp or tunel please don't play gen rush, and maybe after the killer will be not toxic
Like i said to someone who said something similar: Good luck, i've been shaking that bush for ages

This is something that I said on here last week. I play with Lethal Persuer and seeing where the survivors spawn can make me feel demoralised...when it's all 4 survivors spread out across the map. I might still end up winning that match (I use the term loosely because I'm not particularly bothered about winning or losing), but the negative feeling I had at the start can stay with me. I know that during one chase I have 3 survivors on separate gens, so I'm expecting them to pop instantly anyway at that point.
If you play Killer, surely you must be able to see how fast Survivors do gens and how little ability the killer has to pressure them
-
Good luck, i've been shaking that bush for ages. The Devs have been slipping lately

It doesn't mean anything anymore - it used to mean that the killer was camping if the arm movements were the rapid ones. But that's something that's been forgotten about over the years and not everyone knows/knew anyway. So it really doesn't mean anything now when you're flapping your arms as a survivor, I do it because I don't like to just sit there and click buttons instead.
Really? This message is what you guys answer to?
People are talking about serious issues with the game and nothing, but you reply to a message about waving arms?

@OldHunterLight said:
Nope, survivor has been always the easier role, except solo queue but yeah, 2 man ez mode, 3 man why even try mode, 4 man usually ez escapes.
Only solo queue and killer require skill and knowledge, the rest not really especially with how people play these days.
I am Solo, so what does that say?
-
Maybe Console players should turn off crossplay until stuff like this is resolved
-
As soon as Survivors stop complaining about camping and tunneling

It's pretty much confirmed that bhvr does not look at community feedback, at least they don't take that feedback seriously
We do look at community feedback, you can ask @MandyTalk, she's here many hours every single day to collect feedback and thoughts from the community, as part of her job.
I think there's a massive misconception regarding community's feedback, not implementing everything the community asks for all the time doesn't mean the feedback hasn't been looked at.
You don't act like you listen to feedback, tbh
I mean, people have been saying how Survivor is too easy and Killer is too hard for ages, but we've never heard a word
-
Not really, the Witch thing was more of a paragraph, like Ash
-
There's alot of tales about Wendigos in the forests, i'd go with that
But i'd really like a Pirate killer too
-
Most of them are a pain
But the most toxic team i faced would have to be the one that i faced a while back. I was Hillbilly on the Legion map and the survivors all had toolboxes. Each time i got someone down and picked them up, one of the survivors would run to the nearest hook and break it within a second. This was back before the hook sabotage nerf, so they 99% them and hooks would take forever to come back. Obviously, i didn't get a single one of them and it kinda hurt how they treated me

All day today playing as Mikaela i have been camped and tunneled EVERY SINGLE GAME! Like idk what yal killers have against mikaela like really...is it boons??? or what and even a felix player i was playing with knew i was getting tunneled because he even took a hit for me, btw its a camping tunneling Huntress....you see all these other survivors running around me and you still come for me like im not understanding killers hate for Mikaela like #########, and the felix that helped me even disconnected because after i died Huntress started tunneling him. This needs to stop honestly
I don't know why, but killers hate that new survivor
-
@Mileena_Kahn said:
you can’t even play a normal match of solo que without the killer camping at 4 gens and smacking people on hook, don’t forget the extreme tunneling. It’s crazy how the killer is the toxic side, not the other way around. Killers deserve the bags.
'Killer is the toxic side'? You're joking, right?

no I don't pick on killers with my friends. I just don't wanna wait a long time to queue up in a lobby.
I was talking to the other guy
-
@GoshJosh said:
No.
Why? You one of the guys that like picking on the killer with your friends?

@Nathan13 said:
survivor queue times would be really really long if that ever became a thing.
Worth it

@GeneralV said:
Nope. Leave the Shack alone.
Dead Dawg Saloon having a breakable wall there is one of the reasons why that map is the absolute worst in the game.
Because killers can counter shack loops? Yeah. tragic
-
Tell me about it, Survivors think they're untouchable sometimes. And they think if they win, its a massive deal and it gives them a right to trash the killer, when its far from the truth
-
@pizzaduffyhp90 said:
I would say he's fine try to place torment in loops while in chase and commit to going through the pallet cause than they'll have to make a choice the next turn either get tormented or try to find another loop quick which could almost guarantee an M1 hit or if you can read there mind before that while placing torment maybe try a punishment attack but, only if you think you'll know where the survivor will move
Survivors that loop don't care if they get tormented or not, it doesn't exactly do much. It doesn't make them slow down when they run through it or anything. As long as they keep their pallet, they'll run through torment like it was a field

Anymore nerfs and she'll actually be dead

Twins.
Honestly though, the entire chapter was a technical failure as things some like perks and the killers themselves had massive bugs.
I liked the Twins. The character had creativity that none of us thought of
Unless your talking about the bugs that come with the chapter. I don't remember them, but i heard they were a bother

But what would be his power? It wouldn't be flying because devs said they tried to make killer that can fly but it's beyond broken, plus indoor maps, don't get me wrong, i like him, but what could he do? throw his shurkiens? (I don't know how to call that)
Smelling Survivor's fear scent?

Holy crap! There's a new Jeepers Creepers coming out?! That's awesome, I used to love those movies when I was a kid! haha
Justin Long! XD Never really see him anymore, what a random actor he has been in so much random stuff.
Anyways, Jeepers Creepers would be hell of fun to play in DBD - if they could make it work I would be down, but for some reason I feel that it's doubtful.
Bad Rep? Huh, not that it was an all time favorite or anything but everyone I've ever met where the original movies have been brought up in conversations seemed to have liked the films and remembered them similarly to how I do.
The bed rep is regarding what the original Dev did. You do know what happened, right?

What they should change, at least, is when you snuff a totem, it destroys the bones

Oh well lol
Very good job, love the lighting effect

Can i buy it?

Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly, Nurse, Michael Myers, Spirit (got yesterday), Demogorgon (don't matter now though), Blight, Doctor, Hag, Freddy and Ghostface

I don't like the idea that you can't be critical of the devs and enjoy or play the game. At least that's the tone I'm getting from the topic.
I put a lot of hours into the game and the game has never been this bad for performance and bugs. Really ever since covid started last year and they started working remote quality went downhill and people are rightfully fed up having these issues that seem to be getting worse each chapter.
Not mention game balance is very questionable and the devs are very slow at making changes to improve balance.
And that's ignoring the increasing hacker issue because whike hackers have always existed, they were never this common.
I can like dbd for what it is and still have an issue with the decisions the devs make.
I do have issues with what the Devs have chosen. I wish they'd fix the balancing issues, but if its going to happen, we'll have to wait and try to enjoy what we have right now

Licensed: Candyman, because last year had loads of Candyman-like teases and it built the hype for it, the new movie came out and brought back the Candyman franchise
Original: I'd love a Spider themed killer, mostly because the Observer's Archive cutscenes have been showing large Spiders lately, the newest one even shows a Spider-Human hybrid in his realm, not a memory like the last one
-
I was solo survivor, nothing else seemed out of the ordinary. The loading screen came up and the loading bar filled up, then nothing happened, it just stayed there while the DBD logo at the bottom right kept highlighting
-
@KingFrost said:
No, having used Boon Totems I feel they just wouldn't be worth it if the killer could just put them out like that. You'd have to make it take more time consuming for the killer, and a way bigger effect for survivors.
Most Killer hexes are one time use and get snuffed out fast

Could just be a new skin for the Demo. Bipedal monster that screams, the spiders crawling from the portal, etc...
I don't think so, there's no new content for Demo anymore

Perhaps a future killer but I don't think the next. A bit on the nose and we can only hope for more hints and clues as to the next killer.
I get that, Hallowed Blight was released back in 2018 and Blight came out last year, so maybe a future killer
I hope its a clue though, since Last Year's sipder killer i've always wanted one to be in this game
-
Ok, i'm too confused by all this, so i'm just gonna ask
Does this mean Pinhead's voice lines are coming back to DBD, yeah or no?

Dont use stridor on spirit. On a survivor without iron will, the loud sounds can make it harder to pinpoint the location imo and its useless against survivor with iron will.
It was only a common perk on spirit bc it countered old iron will.
Damn, i got them mixed up. Iron Will, Iron Maiden, whats next?...Iron Feet?

MYC is usually just not worth the slot. It can be...okay, if you really want to go for a camping style (I hate doing this), but for instadown power, it's usually far easier to make Devour Hope work. Once survivors realize that you have MYC, they'll begin to play around it. Plus, Devour Hope is super easy to get - Hag is one of the most underestimated killers in the game (she's easily my strongest killer, and so few groups really know how to handle her).
PGTW is a brilliant perk on 'winning' or 'even' games. It won't do much to turn around a game where you are already struggling though. If you aren't regularly ending chases with a hook, it's really mediocre.
Devour is useful if it lasts, but if its found early, its a slot wasted

Trapper ~ Corrupt Intervention. It will buy you time to set-up your traps and can help make a killer three-gen which will be very strong for you.
Hag ~ Corrupt Intervention. Trap Killers benefit a lot from Corrupt, it really gives you time to set up an area.
Leatherface ~ I'm assuming that Iron Will is supposed to be Iron Grasp, so I'll say if you want that sort of build, run Iron Grasp, Agitation, Mad Grit and Starstruck.
Pig ~ Run PGTW. Good gen regression and can help keep those late-game gens from popping too fast.
Clown ~ Run Brutal Strength. The counter to Clown is to drop pallets, so you are gonna eat them, a lot. Brutal helps you get through them slightly faster.
Demo ~ To be honest, I recommend "Battle Demo." Enduring, Spirit Fury, PGTW and BBQ (or Ruin) with Barb's Glasses and Black Heart. It's just nice to Shred through pallets.
Oni ~ Infectious Fright. Perhaps his best perk. This will maximize the usage you get out of your Blood Fury.
Blight ~ PGTW, Undying or Tinkerer. Any of these help Blight become oppressive in his gen patrol, if you are good.
Nemesis ~ Save The Best For Last is great on Nemmy. His tentacle will let you save stacks but the cooldown reduction from STBFL is sooooo worth it.
Twins ~ Knockout. You're probably gonna be slugging anyway, so might as well use Knockout.
Pinhead ~ Hoarder's. Hoarder's will let you see when Survivors pick up the box, and the Box is his power.
Trapper and Hag: perks are good ideas, though i would've thought Hag would've got Make Your Choice. But i'll take this in mind
Leatherface: was right, i use Iron WILL. When survivors see me charging a chainsaw, they dive into a locker to avoid it, this counters that. Also, i'm not really looking for a basement build.
Pig: seems useful
Demo: its not my usual build, but Pgtw could be useful i guess
Blight: Same as Demo
Nemesis: I'll have to look into that one, if you recommend it so highly, there must be something to it
Twins: I try not to slug. Are there any perks that work while playing Victor?
Pinhead: I thought of that one too
Thanks for the answers

Ok just put pgtw in all of those build its easy like that.
On another note i dont think leatherface can run iron will.
Trust me, people see a chainsaw coming up, they dive into a locker

I was making a joke.
'Minor' = someone below the age of majority, usually 18.
'Miner' = a guy with a silly hat that digs underground with a pick.
Oh, did i spell it wrong? Whoops

I don't think they would permit any under 18s as killers.
Under 18s? What you mean?

I feel like it would look good on Trapper, but I prefer it to be a chapter, I would like to see a pickaxe as a weapon and a very scary look like Harry Warden.
I thought that, but what would the ability be? Thats what stumped me
