"f a Survivor interacts with their Fracture, hooks are blocked by the Entity, denying the killer to hook captured Survivors, but Gen progression speed will be decreased tremendously, regardless of how many Survivors are working on the same Gen."
"If a Killer interacts with their Fracture, Gens will be blocked by the Entity, denying Gen Progression. But Survivors have a stronger chance of escaping from a Killer's grasp if they are caught."
Oh wow, so killers can just slug with no downside and survivors get ummm screwed over no matter what they do. Amazing idea.
There, happy? Read the Survivor effects

Its not really hard to avoid getting slugged, and it killers can't hook anyone, so as long as one of you is still up you can revive the rest. But i'll look into this

If this honestly has a chance of affecting your mental health, then the best advice I can give you is to put the controller down for a while. Some people might make fun or do the usual petty forum thing of 'crybaby killer git gud' but I won't do that, because I understand the stress of playing killer and how yeah, even though it shouldn't, a game and the way people play it can impact self esteem.
There are conflicting reports since the new match making system, I've been playing survivor fairly decently but still getting stomped and mostly end up with team mates I'm sure have lemming DNA, however, my experience doesn't invalidate yours. Something is going to break in regards to the match making system because people clearly aren't happy on either side, so perhaps don't give up on playing killer, simply take a break. You aren't being defeated, you're simply setting it aside until it makes sense again.
Alternatively, try getting together a kyf team. No it isn't competitive, but the stress just isn't there when you can play with a bunch of friends where everything is light hearted and nobody is BMing you. It's actually good practice for alternative builds you might have wanted to try but worried you'd get stomped before you got any practice in. People lose perspective when playing competitively, most forget that it's supposed to be fun, the win just becomes too detrimental and when you're getting regularly stomped.....yeah it sucks and makes the whole experience bitter and you find out you lost the 'fun' about three games in.
Whatever you decide, take care of yourself first, because at the end of the day it IS just a game and if it makes you feel crappy...it's not worth the trouble.
Good luck in the fog my friend.
Thanks for the advice
But that reminds me, match making. I thought it was fixed so we'd play with people our own speed, but i was in a match with all red ranks even though my killer rank is still in the grey.

You know when a little kid keeps asking same question over and over and you try to ignore them but they don't stop and it annoys you? That is what it's like with the FNAF posts. Instead of just keeping it to a single post and commenting on that people keep making their own posts. Now instead of just ignoring one post people need to scroll through a bunch about the same exact topic. It's annoying and actually makes people be against it when before they were indifferent. Just comment on one post instead of making your own that is basically just regurgitating what was already said in the other dozens of other FNAF posts.
Are you talking about me? This is the first time i've brought it up, and its not a 'I want Fnaf in the game', its a 'help me understand the hate, so please inform me'

The TV shows a rose with static, it happened in Hellraiser 1 in the hospital
The first 20 seconds refer to the teaser
i can definitely see the resemblance, i just wonder why they would use the tv for a Hellraiser teaser and not something more...hellish, like that IV filling up with blood
-
Isn't its the Devs thing to give teasers that throw us off? Remember Silent Hill chapter teasers? Everything was looking like Candyman

It doesn't get any better the higher rank you go I'm afraid. Yes gens can go too fast especially if they split up. A lot of my trials have not lasted more than 5 minutes since the event started.
Not sure what rank you are but the amount of toxicity I am getting in red ranks can be unbearable at times. I suffer from anxiety and depression, as well as a couple of other things, so sometimes it gets to me too.
Good to know someone feels the same

Just ignore him. People are rude for no reason. Killer early on is gonna be pretty hard depending on who you choose to play. Once you've gotten more perks things will ease up. All of your games after that will be a mix of challenging games and easy games.
I'm not new to the game, been playing for years, the perks i use are always high level. I've been a decent killer up until now, it just seems like i don't have enough time for anything

Which killers were being used?
Nurse = Couldn't keep up, even when blinking, they gen rushed
Hillbilly = Got two which is fine, but the others found a key
Oni = 1 dc-ed at the start, but i was countered by a broken window loop and pallet loops
Legion = got a 4k, but it was at the very end because a survivor kept looping me with a light and somehow knew where i was going even if it was behind a wall

Bruh i faced you few times on PS4 and no offense but everytime youre just camping / tunneling.
Every stories have 2 versions. Ure free to play like you want but survs tends more to be toxic when you play like this
Just saying no accusations
What do you mean you faced me?
I don't tunnel or camp unless i'm forced too, like if the survivors are gen rushing and i haven't made any progress

It needs a nerf. The ability to see survivors who do their objective is too powerful and needs to be adjusted
SWF is too strong on survivors side too, but thats not going away
Killers need advantages too

The reality is he cannot do anything at certain loops that have high walls, and I mean NOTHING. The biggest bandaid fix would be making him 115% so he is atleast viable in those areas.
What would be cool is if you could throw knives at pallets or windows and they stick, so if i survivor touches them, it adds to their...knife meter thing...sorry, i forgot the name, Laceration or something. It'll be like interacting with something covered with glass shards

Yes. He needs a buff. Several, in fact. But he's still viable
Ok, i'm not sure if it was a fluke, trash survivors, or that we were on Rotten Fields, but i got a 4k with Trickster. Two survivors were red rank, the other two were 18 and 11

Practice with him and get good.
I have, i've tried everything, nothing helps Trickster. Survivors just keep looping or Gen rushing because they know Trickster is the easiest to get away from right now, its like they're farming only the killer isn't part of it
And i don't appreciate you saying 'get good' when thats often used as an insult to players doing badly.
I'm a decent killer with others, but Trickster is not in a good place right now. Everyone has bad matches some time, Trickster gets them more because its underpowered. Its slow, its knife throws are inaccurate (meaning you try to throw at the middle, but it just goes left or right) and main event is hardly useful.
If a killer is only good because of what map they're on and is only good against low rank survivors, then its in desperate need of a change
-
@CoalTower said:
Trickster is perfectly viable. Just practice more.
Yeah, it is, if you want only 1 kill at the end of the match or depip

Why are you wasting time at the shack? Go patrol a diff area then.
It don't matter. I chase someone around the shack, others do a gen. If i leave the shack, that guys does a gen and runs back to the shack if i come back

I've given it more chances than it deserves

Ink Ribbon, T-Virus Sample, and Marvin's Blood are more or less the only useful addons. Serotonin just doesn't last long enough to get anything impactful done.
Thanks for the advice
What do you think about NE-a Parasite? Makes a survivor Oblivious for 60 secs when you Contaminate them
-
No one got anything?
-
@WTBacon said:
Broken Recovery Coin is a bad add-on.
Really? I thought the more a survivor stays Contaminated, the more the tentacle can be used on them
-
What about Broken Coin and Depleted Ink?
Less Vaccine and Zombies are more useful as a threat to survivors
-
@AVoiceOfReason said:
I prefer the faster zombies and the longer detection range for me. It's pretty funny to watch a zombie just slap the ######### out of someone when they loop the shack too many times XD It's like the zombie is saying, NO! NO MORE! XD
I kept thinking of a zombie addon, like the depleted ink ribbon, but i thought it was relying more on slow zombies hurting survivors instead of my own ability
-
@Wiitab360 said:
If they don't vaccinate wouldn't it be harder to get stacks?
With Mutation? Yeah, thats what the addon for getting more from striking zombies is for.

Because the tentacle can then do damage to you. So you can be hit through pallets, windows, and zombies
Oh yeah

Survivors: Leon and Jill
Killer: Nemesis
Map: Racoon City Station

He is so underrated, so fun and highly effective in the right hands. He can shut down most loops with ease with well placed blades! And he has an amazing personality! Not to mention his looks 😊
Can you share how you play? Like what perks? Whenever i play Trickster, i just get people who treat me like a joke
-
Those guys are fine as they are
Its Trickster that needs a rework or buffs next.
-
Killers need a chance to win too, you know.
-
Please let it be Nemesis.
-
Trickster buffs, if i had to pick
A solution for the match speed or Gen speed would be good too.
-
Trickster is slow, easy to loop and run around, its knife throwing aim is off. Basically every survivor player is not intimidated by it.
Its the only killer that makes you actually want to dc and get the penalty
-
I don't know if anyone used this yet, but here's mine
Killer Perk: Think Ahead
The perk has 2 tokens at Tier 1, 3 tokens at Tier 2, and 4 tokens at Tier 3
"At the start of the match, the perk has the number of tokens depending on the Tier. With these tokens, the killer is able to destroy a pallet before it is thrown down. Destroying a unused pallet consumes a token. Once all tokens are used, the perk is deactivated."
Alternative idea: The Token maximum is 3 and a token can be reclaimed by destroying 2 downed pallets.
-
I'd like a perk that lets the killer break a small number of pallets BEFORE they're used
-
I played them recently, still as good as ever. Don't get why people say its weak, its fun
-
Depends. Do they die from getting injured anywhere, or just the head?
If its just the head, they're zombies. If anywhere, they're infected
-
Sorry, but i don't understand why the Devs haven't said if they're looking into Trickster or not.
Its not a fan-fav, its getting bad criticism, its slow, its aim is off, and everyone picks on me when i play as it. Its like, as soon as they see its Trickster, they're not even worried or needing to put any actual effort into it
I'm not calling out the Devs, but i hope they look into it
-
I'm hoping for Nemesis, but if i had to choose a Village character, one of the daughters for me
-

Wow, zombies totally weren't in the RE 8 game, and the umbrella charm was in RE 8 and Chris Redfield was in the game and he works for umbrella. Quoting a character doesn't confirm the killer.
But think about it. RE is mostly based around Zombies and mutated monsters, not large women with claws. Maybe its RE8, maybe not, but i'm just saying don't get your hopes up. Remember, this is one recent game against an entire history of classic RE games and memorial iconic characters
-
The most there is to back it up is the easter egg in the castle, but it could've just been a sound file or a DBD easter egg because they're working together now
While in the DBD trailer, we have an umbrella charm, zombies and Cote quoted Clair
