Let's see what people do with the new legion. I mean if nemesis legion don't get nerfed he'll be interesting.
-
If you got big problems with ruin, use a rainbow map with two range addons. But you will learn to hit great skill checks afte playing a while. On purple and red ranks you can get players that power through ruin like nothing.

I'm not sure what you mean by this... can you elaborate?
I love to play the nurse with her only viable build: both cooldown addons.

Nurse: double cd

If the killer gets favored for the hatch close again, sure

Most dcs. Better? Most dcs.

Nice, promoting not playing the game while playing the game. That is an incredibly stupid idea and you know it.
No? The survivor can decide if he wants to take the dc penalty or not. At the momenr about 95% of the dcs are cause of small meat.

Like I said, in context. I gave an example of a time when it really is unnecessary but they do it anyway and the survivors have no choice but to wait. It's not pleasant.
I slug aplenty, so I understand well why one might do so.
In this case the survivor can still go afk and do something other till the round is over.

Which just gets me back to the main point, is boring those perks are always used over and over, and would be nice that it changed, on both sides.
By nerfing them or buffing other ones?

In context, it really can be. If it's just pressure/snowball, no reason, for example, but a killer plays scummy all game and then decides to slug for the 4k despite knowing where hatch is? Yeah no, I'm out.
Honestly, a good solution to this would be that after a certain threshold in the game, if a survivor is slugged, especially if only one is still standing, they can choose to forfeit without it being a DC and just gain the points they earned; it's not fair to expect people to wait around for that crap when they want to get on with their next game.
Sometimes the killer needs to slug to be able to keep survivors from doing certain things. The whole new killer is based on slugging. So that's not really a good thing.

Classic saulty comment that provides no value at all
It's the same with this whole thread. There are meta perks. People are using meta perks. Most times because they are the strongest.
-
It's really ridiculous how many time i vs DH and DS. This game gets so boring.

She is viable because she still has the power to end chases faster. The only problem is how patient a killer has to be while using her. For the map pressure, I don't think it's a big deal because even though she can cover less map pressure she did before, she can still get to areas very fast. If you saw the link I sent of a guy testing her teleportation distance. She can still get around the map well and catch up to any surivior.
If you think so...
-
They are viable with nemesis. 20 seconds consistent downs are funny as hell (for the killer). They are patching this for sure.
-
Better bleach the maps than blendette i guess.
-
Yep, beginner perk.
-
They definitly gonna fix this, because it's way too consistent. It needs no skill at all.
-
Use "No mither" on top for ultimate stealth.
-
Ok killer
-
How about leaving a viable killer be?
-
They're not insane, but i let's see which synergies are coming up.

So if I'm playing against good surivior then why can't i use add ons? So they can bring items and e.t.c while I'm just here running no add on?
I mean I don't mind doing that, but I don't get the point of you speaking of "good surivior " as if I can't just be a "good killer " and not miss all my shots. This isn't me necessarily saying it is "easy" but if you are good at aiming then I don't see much of a challenge here other then me missing my hits. It doesn't mean I'm saying she is fun, I'm just here to say she isnt weak as everyone make her seem as if.
Without addons, because you keep claiming she's still viable on the highest level without addons.
The problem is not her chase potential. She lacks massive map pressure without CD or range addons. And range addons give you a worse chase potential. So you go with CD addons, then she's still viable.

Wrong link. That was the link if the killer wasn't being patient and using her blinks constantly, compare to if she is patient.
She is unfun, but she isn't weak and her counter play isn't running in a straight line.
The surivior would have already been in a far enough distance to where the nurse would have to used alot of blinks. Just like every other killer trying to catch up to a surivior in a chase
Play base nurse against good survivors on rotten fields. Then tell me she's viable without addons still. If you keep thinking that.

What about when you're the last person alive and got slugged and the killer refuses to pick you up? I also think the penalty only applies in the beginning of the match.
Then go and do other things. SWF shouldn't be able to dc into hatch.
-
@BDS22 said:
I can see so many killers purposely slugging knowing about the DC penalty, lol. And I assume the penalty applies to killers too that rage DC, correct?
Slugging is no reason to dc. And yes it applies to all players.

Let's see how it turns out.

In the end you are talking about countering someones PERK with an ITEM. Using NOED is a gamble the Killer plays. I will trade a perk slot for the majority of the game, for a chance to have a powerful perks in the end game. Sometimes is works and sometimes nope. Don't forget you can also destroy the totem to end NOED.
There shouldn't be a 100% easy counter for any PERK.
I'm sorry you are having NOED problems, but it is a PERK after all and sometimes it actually needs to activate, otherwise it'll get a boost so that it for sure activates.
I'm a killer main and i never use NOED outside of endgame builds. It's way too powerful at the moment and rewards killers that are unable to secure kills and juggle survivors. My point is that you are unable to counter it without a specific item.

It seems unless RUIN is in play, survivors don't give totems a second glance, unless they are in a super easy spot.
I run Small Game because my RUIN skill checks are garbage. As a result I'm often alerted to totems and traps from Trapper and Hag. Its quite useful.
But even not using that perk, there are usually totems around most of the generators, there are a few spots that totems spawn that are away from gens but you'll just need to learn those possible positions. Unfortunately this is a trial and error portion of the game, and there is no quick study.
Again if you are scared of NOED then you need to put in the work. There is no quick and dirty totem defense. Totems were always designed to be a time distraction from the generators. If you are looking hi and low for totems then gen time is extended.
Solos and Killers are the only ones playing the game as per the original design. With only minimal gestures for communication. The lack of knowledge is supposed to be part of the game, SWF are just bypassing this aspect totally.
All I can say is try to kill at least one or two totems before starting the gens. Then you know you did your part. If every survivor played by that rule then there would definitely be less NOED casualties.
And like I said totems are worth enough BP's to be worth the time to cleanse.
I cleanse every totem i see and still get hit by NOED when playing survivor. The only time a killer can't use his NOED is when i bring a rainbow map with double range. And the only reliable counter NPED shouldn't be a UR item.
-
They should've considered fixing their maps and give other exhaustion perks passives too.
-
I think he'll have a weird B-tier power like the Demogorgon.

You don't, its part of the risk of totems. It wouldn't be fair to the Killer if there was some kind of tracking to let everyone know how many totems are left.
If you feel SWF have an advantage in this respect, you'd be 100% correct in that SWF screws the Killer at every chance. And its not fair to solos or Killers.
But how am i supposed to counter NOED, if i don't know if other survs cleansed totems too?

I dont think that's super accurate. If they are good and beat you. That means you learn from it and improve on the next game. Not ask for buffs for killers to be more powerful. And not only that that ruins the game for early players and mid players. On both sides.
That are my statistics on red ranks survivor. It's a fair matchup, if i go against spirit or nurse, but every other killer gets steamrolled.
-
@survivormain1105 said:

Why is that a problem. I'm complaining about the fact everyone wants buffs for every little thing. Losing is part of the game. I don't go into every game expecting a 4k or an 4 man escape.
Because very good survivors are literally escaping 90% of the time. Against killers that got no viability.
-
Ok killer.
-
@Rinthespooki said:
From now on, if you get survivors complaining about your "tunneling" or "camping" or telling you how to play killer just respond with "ok survivor".
Ok killer.
-
If you loose against Legion, Clown, Trapper, Wraith, usw. in red ranks it's 100% on you. That's the main problem.

Read the newsletter syster!
Sadly i never saw a real meg. :(

But there is nothing currently wrong with NOED the way it is. Stop gen rushing and do totems, they are actually worth good points.
If you get hit with NOED, its your own fault.
How do i know when all totems are cleansed as solo survivor?

So you need a yellow and green add-on to not get countered by survivors who run in a straight line. Seems right ...
You said she's not the best anymore. You don't said she's not the best without addons anymore.

enlighten me on how a killer is still the best when the counterplay to Them is to hold W and shift
CD addons. Simple as that.

Toxic people.
Fun fact: They usually got a tremendously smaller brain than other humans.
-
You mean decreased i guess. Camping gollums stay camping gollums, no matter how you balance the game.

For survivors: DS
For killers: Nurses
