If they want to rebel, tunneling lisa won't do anything... sorry to say but the dev's don't care about that stuff. I'm specifically talking about people to tunnel only because im lisa, not the colors. What you probably don't understand is that her price is probably part of licensing. Konami wanted to make her really expensive probably because they probably couldn't for cheryl.
Her price is part of licensing. Which is why you can buy two full on silent hill DLC's for the price of one Lisa. Pyramidhead is far more famous of a character.
Konami isn't in a position to be overcharging for anything these days. They're a dead company that makes mobile games and pachinko machines. They're also the company that in their infinite (lack of) wisdom, fired Hideo Kojima. The guy who kept them afloat in AAA gaming with his games on his back. Silent Hill is a great franchise, but an overall dead one. It's the only reason BHVR was able to get a hold of it.

Yes, because every poser non-killer main is playing killer.
My wait times have increased at first, but I have a tiny secret that put me on top of the waiting list every single time.
My wait times are about 20 seconds. On PC. And no it's not an exploit, before I get yelled at.
If it wasn't an exploit, you wouldn't not tell people. Unless you're using a VPN.

Imagine representing your company that way, and pretty much mocking your paying customers when they point out a glaring issue that apparently you guys are beyond incapable of fixing. BIG OOF.

We should be able to play however we want huh? Well I should be able to play a character without being targeted because of her. Also yes it is pushing people away. All of my friends have pretty much quit the game not because of the game, but the players.
I mean, Lisa is also one of the easiest survivors to see on any map. With the bright red and white colors on her. Some people want her dead, but you are running around as a beacon saying "LOOK AT ME IM BRIGHT!!! (but pls dont kill me)". You can literally see her outfit through the cornfield.
Some ARE tunneling her - and part of the reasoning is because of what she represents. BHVR is charging more for this SKIN than they are for 2, full fledged survivors, with full separate perk abilities, names, cosmetic potential and voices...when they couldn't bother to add an actual lobby name and voice to this "legendary skin". A lot of people are actually rebelling against that, because (wait for it) it's a BS money grab and nothing gets BHVR's attention more than killers being dicks to survivors. FACT.

Map is bad. Killer isn't even remotely OP.

If you're a killer that tries to ruin the game for a survivor just because they're playing as lisa or any other character/ skin... you're trash. You're part of this community's toxicity problem. Someone shouldn't be bullied into not playing a certain character. Seriously though, the toxicity is pushing players away. I've been excited for lisa since she was announced and now there's a bunch of killers trying to ruin my games for playing her. Excuse me for buying one of my favorite video game characters of all time and just trying to have fun. STOP DOING THIS, YOU'RE KILLING THE GAME WITH YOUR TOXICITY.
I feel like we should be able to play how we want.
Also - player count is largely stagnant. Hasn't really gone up or gone down. It's not pushing anyone away. Even more than that, survivors have more bully power than killers could ever hope to in this game.

Huntress can't hold her M2 and activate Insidious.
Nurse can't hold her M2 and activate Insidious.
Pyramid Head can't hold his M2 and activate Insidious.
Deathslinger can't.
They don't move either, I don't know what makes Bubba special, but whatever.
I mean, technically those are all actions in mobility. Revving a chainsaw is hardly mobility.
-
What concerns me more is the (what I assume is a) booger on the bottom of his very expensive mic. My god he treats that thing like trash.
He's right, though.
-
Not only is the bug NOT gone...but you can no longer hear footsteps, or falling/landing from high places sounds. GG BHVR.
Man, you guys really are trolls. At this point, I have a hard time believing this isn't on purpose and you guys aren't dying of laughing behind the scenes. NOBODY could unintentionally be this negligent.
-
@BigBrainMegMain said:
I don't know why he can hold his M2 and have Insidious working at the same time.
I don't have issues with Bubbas, but I have issues with broken mechanics.
It's not a broken mechanic. He can hold M2 and still not be moving. Insidious is activates when you're not moving. It's INSANELY obvious if a Bubba has insidious. Even more, you should always assume every Bubba has insidious. Anticipate it always. If you don't, it's your own fault.
-
Here's the thing, and it's the absolute truth...Pyramidhead is a good killer. The issue with him is (and it's really not an "issue" per say) is that his play style is very tunnely. He performs best when he tunnels. He maximizes his points and emblems, when he tunnels. He's the only killer where tunneling isn't a bad strategy. Why does this make killers play him less? It's quite simple. Contrary to what the baby survivors who whine here will say - most killers don't actually enjoy playing that way. Much like Hag is campy, and that's why you don't see many Hags.
I know, shocker.

People complain about Bubba wearing Claudette's face because people assume it's blackface which is a thing that happened in the early 1900s.
If you were to paint your face yellow to represent a Asian person it wouldn't be offensive, you'll just look stupid. But if you were to paint your face black to represent a African American, it'll come off as offensive and you'll get hate.
Basically I'm saying if you were to cover your face in any color to represent a certain group of people it won't really be offensive unless they're Black.
Wasn't offense cause he was an Asian guy? Asians went through the same, if not worse than african americans did. Regardless - intent is everything. People need to stop looking at something like a costume of a specific character and calling it racist. I think even with "blackface" a clear line needs to be drawn. For example - Jimmy Fallon. Twitter wokenerds tried to get him "canceled" because he wore "blackface" on SNL 20 years ago. Most of them knew Jimmy Fallon is about as far as you can get from racist and that it would never work...but the fact that they tried is nonsense. He didn't wear blackface. He wore a costume of a specific character/person.
There is a difference.
-
You know, it's funny. As a killer main, I agree, Haddonfield needs a rework. It's dated and the Haddonfences are horse #########...but I consistently get a 2k or more on that map. It's not that bad.

BBQ doesn’t proc when PH sends a survivor to a cage. A cage isn’t a hook. Makes sense. I get it.
Still, could we at least get stacks for bloodpoints? It’s ok if we don’t get auras. I think this is a fair compromise!
As a killer main, no. No hook activated perks work with the cages. It's fair.

How much more clear do they need to make it? They stated it explicitly in the spotlight, the patch notes, and on the description of the outfits that they are set pieces that can't be mixed and matched. It's not the devs' fault you aren't paying attention and reading before you buy.
I mean, when it's a majority of people (judging by content creators and the forums) experiencing this, I'd say it's not clear enough.

It is clarified well enough, it's people's fault for not informing themselves well enough before purchasing, the bigger problem is the fact that the sets themselves often don't make much sense. All of Heather's cosmetics besides the legendary one make no sense as sets. I can see the Legion bunny ones being sets, and something like Bunny Feng should be a set (the hood without the proper jacket looks awful, period.), but Heather has unrelated cosmetics branded as sets.
I know this time they're sets for the sake of being sets, since sets are a new feature, it's nice to have some to sell, I just hope this doesn't become a thing, cuz sets used like this actively detract from the experience, rather than add to it. Sets should be unique cosmetics that just don't look well seperated (again, Bunny Feng is an example)
Oh yes, a vague line in the patch notes and an icon that isn't defined anywhere is "clarified well enough". Sure.
I guess me, most here, and people like Zubat who play this game for thousands of hours are all idiots. Makes sense.

I have to agree. I don't understand why this, along with Legion's Robbie outfit is all a 3-piece link. Many people like to mix and match their outfits. I personally wanted to use the Alessa head with Cheryl's base outfit, just so it was a kind of Dark Alessa costume similar to SH3. BHVR needs to make it far more obvious than a icon, and a row of icons beside it's name. I can see that it's a linked outfit sure, but the 3 + icons makes me also think that this outfit must be bought together, where other outfits can be bought one piece at a time.
Agreed. It should say it, CLEARLY, in the description of the cosmetic. None of this vague bait and switch crap.

We do actually mention it in a couple different places. The first being in the very first line of the patch notes. The second being in the top left corner of the outfit, and the third being in the top right of the outfit when you hover over it in the store (seen below).
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/1C31YNNCU50J/image.png
The goal is not to mislead you, we want to make it clear up front what you're getting. If you have any suggestions to make it more clear, please let us know.
The first line of the patch notes is pretty vague. Look, I'm from Montreal too - I get that English can be hard, but at least get that stuff proof read.

To be fair, I completely understand the "legendary skins" for Lisa and Alessa, but the two green ones confuse me. Like I was actually going to buy them because I thought I would be able to mix and match them. I like the pink shirt and the dark jeans but will never get to wear them together, so I opted not to buy them.
I do think they were being a tad tricky in language though. Like they should all be called "Legendary Skins" in the title and not have separate rarities. Because until someone explained to me that the icon in the top left indicated they were legendary on not the rarity I though I could mix and match.
But as much as I love DBD and BHVR, their not great with words, remember "end game perk"...
I totally get the legendary ones. TOTALLY understandable. I'm referring to the Cheryl outfits and the plethora of shirts you can buy for her.

Can you add a warning in the store before people buy them? I also didn't know you couldn't mix and match and looked all over in the discriptions just to make sure. Then when I bought one and saw the head and other items were seperate I went ahead and bought both so I could mix. Only when you get in the survivor custimization lobby do you get told you can't mix them. If I had known I wouldn't have spent my money. Please add a warning in the STORE>
THIS. I mean JESUS BHVR. Are you guys for real with your shady crap?

That's a terrible argument. "I don't like ads". Try again. You'll probably call them toxic, too.

The only reason I can see not to like people innocently advertising their content creation is because you're jealous that nobody would watch you. Click their steam profile and see how many hours they played. Is it somewhere in the 1000 hours plus played, leave the lobby. I'm sorry but I've played plenty of games where I check out their stream afterward to see them and their friends (swf) just constantly make fun of me, with chat laughing along. Same thing when i see P3 survivors. There's no way in hell that we will have the same level of experience. Easy dodge.
That's just you being a bad killer. Dodging 1000+ hours (time played =! skill, especially in DBD), and P3 cosmetics. Big OOF.

I think maybe 1% of the time the goal is to ruin someones day. The other 99% theyre hoping survivors will be altruistic and when that fails they want their one kill. At least thats been my experience on both sides.
The issue is - and it's not the killers to blame for it, is that *most of the time*, survivors DO get altruistic and those campers end up getting a 3k or 4k. Then those survivors come here and act like they did absolutely nothing wrong and couldn't have prevented it from happening. It's a circle of KEKW.
