I mean, ideally someone wouldn't be mean or act out on their assumptions, but I doubt rude kids will stop being rude just cause someone asked them to. Those pants are cool, but I really like her skirts. c: Claudette does have lighter clothes, though I wouldn't consider what you were wearing as the worst tbh. It isn't really blendette (which a lot of people don't like). Most characters have darker options to help with stealth play.
Oh of course some people will always be the way they're... it doesn't hurt suggesting it though, since wouldn't you want to be treated better if you were in their position?
But, they don't really have to and they don't have to even care about what the other side says... it's just nice to know someone actually does care from the opposite side.

Nvm then...

Right above the 5 dash marks
Pretty sure the way Dedicated Servers work now is that it only displays YOUR ping... and not the Killers.
I could be wrong about that, but I don't think the ping defines the Killers ping anymore.

The problem is that “good game”, from a competitive point of view, doesn’t really mean “it was a fun game”, but “it was a fair game, I acknowledge we both did our best”.
in a sport there’s a referee, and “BMing” is sanctioned, sometimes strongly. In DbD there’s no such thing, meaning that sometimes a game is not really “good”.
Not saying gg is the equivalent to not shake hands after a game - I don’t think Zidane and Materazzi did so after France - Italy :)
I mean, it's considered a way of showing respect to the other side in a sense also... so sometimes people don't really want to display any respect to a Killer they didn't have fun with.

The game ends, you say GG and you take what you can from the encounter : lessons learned, lessons taught, and of course the points.
That's one way to look at it.
Sometimes I wonder if that's the best way to look at it.

The obsession only gets a healing% increase now. They don't get a gen speed increase.
That's like nothing than... well, at least they don't get the debuff from Dying Light itself...
I'll edit it above.

Oh I certainly get what you mean, I guess my post was a more generalized rant in a way.
There's certainly people that would never say gg after losing, and it doesn't help that there's very convenient and commonly used excuses that are more or less memes at this point. Like survivors calling a killer a camper when they never did so in the first place, or killers going on about SWF even when all the survivors were solo players. Doesn't matter if it's true or not, to the people doing that sort of thing it both gives them an excuse for their own loss, and also makes it "not a gg" because they convince themselves the other side didn't win in the "right way".
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/792171#Comment_792171
I can partially agree with this, at least if it's a game where one side crushed the other. Saying it is more or less a habit for me, but this is something I think I should try to keep in mind for those games. If someone gets angry at a GG after a close match where they happened to lose that's honestly their problem though.
So true...

GG stands for Good Game?

Well anyways, when playing killer, I will for the most part say gg regardless if I win or not.
That's the spirit!... I think...

So, it takes 80 seconds to finish a generator by yourself without hitting great skill checks... if you add in the max 16% debuff from Thanatophobia... than that's like... 12.8 seconds added onto that.
So instead of 80 seconds flat, it takes 92.8 seconds to complete a generator by yourself with the entire team injured... now, we'll factor in a full stack of tokens with Dying Light on top of that. (Note, I can't find anywhere that says how many tokens Dying Light can have, but since it works off of all the other Survivors hook states besides the obsession... we'll just say for the sake of the discussion that it's 9 full stacks.)
Anyways, Dying Light gives the Obsession a 33% increase to Healing, and unhooking. But with 9 tokens on Dying Light + Thantophobia... that's a 27% decrease AND a 16% decrease from both maxed percentages on all Survivors EXCEPT the obsession...
So, the 3 Survivors that're not the obsession will get a 43% decrease to that 80 seconds... so that's in total 34.4 seconds added on to that 80 seconds making it... 124.4 seconds to complete 1 generator by yourself with no great skill checks!
the part about the obsession was changed...
You no longer get a 33% increase to repair speed, it's just unhooking and healing...
Now, since the Obsession ignores the negative effects of Dying Light, they'll just be treated as a normal Survivor that's only hit by the Thanatophobia debuff... but their 33% to healing and unhooking is cut down to 17% instead... the basic time it takes to heal is 16 seconds, so 17% increase to that is like... 2.72 seconds... which is basically nothing... So instead of 16 seconds to self heal it's like 13.28 seconds or something.
That's basically the math.

@FireHazard I appreciate your reply. I’ll keep hoping for it, the few times I’ve been the last survivor with one gen left the hatch gets closed before I can do the last gen so it’s just becoming the bane of my existence. I’m on PlayStation so I didn’t have the option to do the achievement before. I can tell it’s always been difficult to get though.
Yeah, you'll get it eventually though if you keep it in mind.

The winner shouldnt gg first, that all there is to be said about the topic. Saying it first is just bragging or rubbing it in.
Other than that, dont tell a killer to be happy with one kill. You probably dont like to be told to appreciate getting just one generator done either.
At least I got one done rather than none right?
Considering you need to kill 4 Survivors as your ultimate goal, at least you got 1 out of 4 killed... it's better than having a 4 man escape.
-
They want my event items... THEY ALL WANT THEM!
-
It's not actually, it was always this difficult... even before the EGC was created. I did it before, and if you do it now its the same thing... you still need to finish the last generator and escape through the exit gates as the last Survivor remaining...
It's very situational and it usually requires you to have one Survivor being chased and killed on hook while you're on 99% of the generator... Than you complete it and go for the gates while the Killer scrambles to close the hatch.
I guess you could say it was "easier" since the hatch wasn't able to be closed back then... so you could just do generators and escape through the gates while the Killer camped the hatch... but even than if there is more than 1 generator left and they see you doing generators, than they'll just go and hit you and you'll escape through the hatch so...
Like I said, it's not impossible, it's just very situational and it's an achievement you shouldn't actively go and do until the right scenario lines up during a regular match.

I just say gg if I'm there at the end... like I've done for almost 20 years of online gaming at this point. Was never an issue until the last few years, people just said it regardless of how the game went and moved on, or left without saying anything. None of this "actually... it was bg!" stuff.
I sorta hate that people look too deep into it. Like I've seen people "read between the lines" and take a simple gg as some subtle brag or taunt, and it's like... no? If people want to do that there's stuff like gg ez for that, not like people are afraid of being open about their taunts and trash talk in this game 😄
EDIT: Not accusing OP of looking too deep into it by the way, sorry if it seemed that way. But it's something I've seen become more and more common the last few years.
I get what you mean, a lot of people are taking things a bit too literal now a days and it seems to also be the case with the word "gg." Now people see it as a taunt or to just BM or something...
I think what I was going for in this post though was to touch up on how some people perceive a "good game" to be twisted now a days... since a lot of players consider a loss to be an automatic "bad game" when even a loss can be enjoyable if you got something out of it...
Like, you got a challenge or memes or new friends or whatever... It's not always a bad thing to lose, and even if you 1k you at least killed somone, and even if you died as a Survivor at least 1 person escaped or 2 or 3!
That was kind of what I was going for, but I understand what you mean by people looking... too deep into what people are saying when they write "gg" they take it as an insult sometimes when it's just two letters that's short for good game...

Understandable, common curtsy can go a long way for some players. It's best to fight a toxic Killer or Survivor with kindness since most of them are looking for a reaction anyways.

Being on console is a bit different as we don't have a postgame chat. As a killer, I have only been messaged 3 times in a span of a year by survivors complimenting me for my performance, most other times it's a bunch of salty survivors messaging. I even once just a few weeks ago had a survivor abuse the 'follow' feature on PS4 and kept ringing notifications to me the entire match. Sometimes I'll get a couple that want to call me bad even though I got a 4k with 2-3 hooks per survivor.
As a survivor, I'd say I rarely ever say GG myself out of the hundreds of games I played; not because I didn't think it was a good game, but rather I couldn't be bothered with the steps to say it (takes like a 1-2 minutes). I have a few times said GG when I'm playing against a good nurse (respect for you nurse mains on console) or just against a good killer in general that didn't tunnel the ever living crap out of someone or camping. Good map pressure, etc. Even today I said GG to a Huntress that I looped and lost twice (first lasted for a good 2-3 minutes, second a bit over a minute before giving up) and then died on first hook later when I went for a save and heal under hook (and there were still 3 survivors up besides me). I actually get messaged more by other survivors than killers, 90% of the time just wanting to talk smack as I play solo que often. I prefer playing with others that are solo que. I'd say the worst experience as a solo que survivor is playing with a 3-man stack.
I do have killers who will message me GG on console and most of the time it's because we both performed well. I rarely have a killer message me just to talk s**t.
Having no post-chat forcefully sounds like a bless than it is a curse...
But I can respect what you're saying, saying gg is kind of subjective at this point... that, and it's just a reflex that literally all players do now in this game.

I've just gotten used to say gg after every match. It doesn't really matter how the game went.
If I'm survivor and I'm the first one to die and the game is far from ending and I'm playing solo then I'm not gonna stay around to see if a bunch of randos will escape or die. I think that's the only exception for me. If the killer is really scummy or tunnels me I'll still say "gg" cause I know most scummy killers just want a salty reaction when doing stuff like that. If they play scummy and I survive I'll add an "ez" to my gg though.
For killer I say gg no matter if I 4k or 0k. I don't expect survivors to stay around and say gg back if they died early. If I get into a situation where someone DCs early in the game, I'll go easy on the survivors and just doublehook and then let them escape. I play about both roles 50/50, so I know how it feels to have people DC as survivor, so I can't help but feel bad.
Imo it's good sportsmanship if you say gg whether or not you win. I've said it so much that sometimes I find myself saying gg in chat even I was sacrificed before the game had ended. It's just muscle memory at this point.
That's a good point, and yes its good to look at everything from a brighter perspective!

I usually write “gg” out of politeness and to show my appreciation for the other players’ time and efforts. If I’m upset about the match for some reason, I don’t write anything or direct my “gg” at specific people.
I don’t expect to escape as survivor or 4K as killer. Therefore my “gg” is more of a “good try” or “well played” than “good game”. Calling a match a “good game” is too vague for me.
Respectable.

why are 2 repeating letters in the end game chat really making you think this hard? most people just move on to the next game, especially if it was super bad or just dont care to stay and debate the other players on what went wrong. if you had fun then so be it, a “gg” shouldnt change that (unless youre a face camper then u dont genuinly deserve any sort of sportsmanship)
Because, if you look deeper into the meaning of how people view a win or a "good game" than you'd find that the concept of a "gg" is quite twisted now a days...
Like, a good game isn't based on escape or a 4k every match... and some people can't accept that... which is quite odd considering a loss can be meet with a good game if the challenge or memes or something was there...
If you look deeper into it, its more than just completing the objective that's fun. Of course, some people like completing the objective and it gives them a goal, but i'm just saying that there is more BEYOND that.

I would go as far as to say you should GG regardless of whether you had a good time or not. I don’t have fun getting 5 gen’d, but I’m still going to give the killer a GG if they played exceptionally well.
It depends who you're facing and your teammates cooperation during the match. In-general though if people could learn to accept a loss that wasn't given out of an unfair advantage than things would be a lot better...
Of course, people would argue that facing Spirit is unfair, that facing a 1v1 is unfair, etc, etc...

If people only GG when they win, they don’t understand where the sentiment comes from, OR they do understand and are just poor sports. The lack of sportsmanship and camaraderie in this community can certainly be disappointing.
I think its more so just the... baffling mind-set some people have I guess? Like, it's so depressing when someone says that when they lose because they didn't 4k which apparently is the only way to win... I guess if someone escapes its a loss?
Or if you're a Survivor it's the case with Surviving the match... you can die and still have a good time.

I think you're falling into the trap of getting bogged down in the minute details of an incredibly specific situation: I wouldn't say 'more times than not' killers target a survivor they don't like, I think you're assuming a lot based on intuition and giving a little too much credit to the conclusions that you're drawing.
The hypothetical example you give is not 'right', but I don't think that's a particularly meaningful statement- the toxic behaviour is the example is not caused by the player's dislike of a character, that is only a justification. The behaviour would manifest in some way or another regardless of the reasoning behind it.
There's no cure-all for toxicity within the DBD community. Appeals to emotion won't work on the unsympathetic, appeals to reason won't work on the irrational and appeals to fairness won't work on... Well anyone--the game is inherently unbalanced and individual definitions of what are or aren't fair rarely align. There IS a cycle of negativity at play, but it isn't limited solely to the game- you're going to play with people who are unpleasant to interact with because of your character, or because of your playstyle, or because of your teammate's playstyle, or because they thought you were in SWF, or because they got bullied last game, or because they they had a bad day outside of the game, or because they paid X amount for the game and can play however they want as a result. The cycle is broken on an individual level by rising above the provocation- while you are appealing for people to do exactly this in your post, you're tying it to a very specific example which doesn't seem to resonate with many other players.
Going forward don't concern yourself so much with how you're perceived by other players- just focus on having fun and if you come across a game that tilts you a little too much take a break--play killer or find something else to do... Failing that-- main Jeff rather than Claudette? :p
You make a compelling argument. Also, I main Killer actually i'm just basing my information off of personal experience and other the experience of others as well.
But you're right, most if not all games are unpredictable so if someone has an agenda it can easily be changed within the game... regardless if they're specifically targeting someone or not.

You'll still face Red Ranks if you're in Red Ranks...
The same goes for the other ranks as well, you'll sometimes get a lower ranked Survivor here or there but that's about it.
-
Getting a grab as Myers or GhostFace on a generator... I love the heart attacks I create through my stealth Killers...
Also because i'm evil! 😈

Same, US player here. I play on PC and i'm a Killer main, but I also play a decent amount of Survivor to stay in the loop for both sides.
It helps me understand both perspectives in an argument, but its also because it keeps things fresh for me... or i'll get burnt out from too much of one side.
-
They're still used a lot actually... they're just not used over all other items now a days like back then... That's mostly because flashlights before the nerf were insanely accurate at a lot of angles and it got so bad that if a full lobby of Survivors with flashlights came in, than the Killer had no choice but to run Franklins Demise to remove them...
Like, it was way worse before. Now it's pretty ok, and if you get a flashlight save its not really anyones fault but the Killers for not anticipating that by looking at walls when picking up, or taking prior knowledge from seeing the flashlight during the pre-match lobby.
-
@Jb94 said:
I don't think this is quite as influential on gameplay as you think. If you were targeted by the killer it could be any number of reasons and I very much doubt the killer out a lot of thought into their actions--games are so chaotic you kind of just chase based on whatever is in your line of sight.
As far as the stereotypes go, they're almost all memes- barring the fact that players with P3 Claud/ brown shirt Claud are almost always intentionally trying to stack odds in their favour and pink hair Nea's are trying to get your attention from the getgo. Slap on any other cosmetic and no one will have any beef on either side. As a killer I do notice flashy outfits in the lobby (an all auric cell outfit suggests a level of investment in the game higher than the average player), but this doesn't influence my gameplay, its just a passing thought when sizing the team up.
I think the stereotypes are kind of fun- I have a fairly set idea that Lauries and Bills are useless, Davids overestimate their chasing ability, any given Feng's toxicity is directly proportional to the number of Neas+Claudettes in the lobby with them... I dunno, none of it actually means anything but it's natural to infer patterns in behaviour and it's amusing when these expectations are met or subverted.
You're right, its all based on personal opinion and it's mostly just for memes...
But it's another thing when people are overly toxic to each other within and outside the game because they play certain Killers/Survivors... it kind of does have an impact within the match when it comes to targeting specific Survivors, and more times than not it's because of a specific Survivor they don't like...
So for example, if i'm targeted and BM'ed and insulted at the end of the match because a Killer doesn't like that Survivor and automatically assumes the worst of me because of that Survivor... does that make it right? No. What did I do to deserve that hate? Because you played against another Survivor that was incredible rude to you? So you need to return the favor to all Survivors that play like that?
Doing that really does continue the cycle of negativity, and that's why a lot of Killers used to be nice but soon turn nasty because of certain players behaviors... and vise versa as well.
-
Also @Wendig0_Bac0nman
Because she's top-tier like Nurse and Nurse will soon be below her after her base-kit nerf... she'll probably be DC'ed against more often afterwards...
Which is quite unfortunate, but if people want to DC against her than they'll be punished for it after it becomes too excessive.
-
This is probably a bug, unless you have other perks that Jake commonly sees outside of Bills perks...
Otherwise, I'm pretty sure because of Bill being added in it's asking you to unlock them AGAIN on Bill... so in turn it's bugged and doesn't really understand what is happening since it wasn't considered that Bill would come to PS4...
Until he did... So the system is probably freaking out and ignoring that you already unlocked those perks beforehand... so it wants you to unlock them again! (Or the perks were in base-kit, hence why you need to unlock them because they were never unlocked in the first place... they were just in base-kit until Bill arrived to PS4... So now they're not.)
Short answer
They were in base-kit, but since he was brought into PS4 they're no longer IN base-kit... So the game doesn't recognize that you own the perks already on Jake and now requires you to unlock them on Bill to continue leveling them up.
So it's kind of a bug? But it makes sense to what's happening...
-
This is an easy answer, so basically it works like this.
Nurse ignores literally all conventional means that Survivors use during a chase... this is why she's considered the strongest Killer in base-kit and with add-ons... ESPECIALLY add-ons...
Fast forward, Nurse is going to be nerfed in a couple of days when patch 3.3.0 comes out... So the torch for the strongest Killer will now go to Spirit. She's quite similar to Nurse considering her phase walking ability can ignore almost every loop and tile in the game, almost... she has a hard time with big loops that were once old infinites like Coal Tower, Crotus Pren, etc...
Those loops she can't easily just go through or around and down someone with no issue... She actually has to either mind-game in it, or brute force it.
That, and her add-ons were almost the most OP ones until you compared it with Nurse's add-ons with OMEGA blinks... So... this is why she was considered to be the 2nd best Killer next to Billy.
Billy will soon be the 2nd best Killer because he's quite strong with his chainsaw and he can traverse the map with ease like Spirit and Nurse... But unlike those two, he's actually the most balanced Killer in the game... he's loopable, but he's also very strong and can be used as a top tier threat...
basically this is your answer
Spirits ability to ALMOST ignore all loops and tiles combined with her absurd add-ons that make doing so EVEN easier... AND if you add in Prayer Beads which literally nobody likes facing... than she's quite the threat indeed... even for very skilled players.
Of course, a skilled Survivor can work around her to some degree... but for your answer i'm speaking in-general with decent or casual players... This is why most of those players DC to her, even the skilled players... because nobody really likes facing her except players that know how to counter her, or players that like a challenge...
Otherwise... she's almost the most DC'ed Killer in the game behind Nurse.
-
Legion is a shell of his former self that literally everyone hated...
Why do people still hate him...?
-
Ok so, what you need to focus on when it comes to any Killer is playing tactically but also using mind-games at strong loops to get hits in...
For example, most Survivors is not ALL Survivors rely on the Killers red stain (the light they emit) to know where they're facing at a loop... If the loop has long walls like Jungle Gym tiles, T-Wall and L-Wall, etc... than they'll focus on looking around the corners of those tiles to know where you're.
What you should do in this scenario is follow Survivors around these loops until you come to a corner, once the Survivor is completely around that corner you should moonwalk to that corner while facing the opposite direction... this will make the Survivors think you're doubling back to the other side but in reality you're facing that direction but still walking to your original path around that corner to meet them up there...
They'll get confused, walk into you, and you hit them to either down or injure them... this is pretty effective on loops that have no line of sight between the Survivor and Killer, so it should be done at THOSE loops only. You can even fake the moonwalk and actually double back to the other side of the loop where the pallet is and moonwalk to where the Survivor is going...
This is good to do at places like shack pallet, where you flash your light in the doorway. The Survivor than vaults the window and you're actually moonwalking to the other side of that window to hit them.
If you're chasing someone around a tile with no high walls, than depending on your Killer you should... just brute force it. It's better to waste pallets like these since they're quite small yet can't really be mind-gamed. The best mind-games to use at those loops is to just try and double back around to the other side so you can close in on the Survivor to either luckly hit them... or just end the loop faster!
This is just basic stuff, but it's important to know if you're using literally like... most if not all Killers in the game. If you want to learn more about these tiles, than i'll link a video that talks about how these tiles work from the SURVIVORS perspective... once you learn how Survivors use these loops, you can easily judge what to do to counter them...
Here's that video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6QYjInzLeM&t=9sIf you need like, a more advanced guide on a specific Killer than I can kind of write one up, but this is one of the most important guides you'll need to learn when playing most Killers... If not ALL Killers, including Nurse despite her ignoring all of these tiles.
-
Having bad internet isn't bannable nor should you report it... it isn't really their fault that their internet is bad, so it's not something you should report them for anyways.
I'd just ignore it and move on man, I wouldn't bother doing anything that will be a waste of the support teams time... considering like I said and Mandy said... it isn't reportable and you shouldn't do it.
-
If you want one of the most meta perks in the game than buy Hags DLC, but if you want a unique Killer that's decent in the tier list than Hag herself is also good...
If you want to stealth around with barely any Terror Radius or 0 Terror Radius because of your power... than buy Myers DLC or GhostFaces (Buy Myers over his though... he's more fun...)
If you want a really good point farming perk, than buy LeatherFaces DLC for BBQ & Chili... I wouldn't REALLY play LeatherFace because he's the worst Killer in the game at the moment... but if you want you can give him a try!
Last, if you want to play a pretty tactical Killer... than you should buy Freddys DLC, he's actually pretty fun pre-rework and is still really fun post-rework! He's quite strong too, so he's not just a slouch... And he's also pretty good to use in Red Ranks as well!
-
It isn't Pig, pig is pretty weak compared to other Killers on the tier list.
The strongest (aka the apex) Killer is Nurse, but when the new patch rolls out any day now... she'll no longer be the strongest Killer in the game, her 3 year streak will finally be over...
The new strongest Killer after her will be The Spirit and i'll give you a small run down on why they're both on the Top-Tier of the roster.
For one, Spirit and Nurse can traverse the map really quickly because of their power, they both can ignore pretty much all obstacles within the map to down Survivors in a flash, they both can utilize perks to destroy a team in a few minutes, both their strongest add-ons are very OP (Nurse's won't be soon) and they can effectively crush anyone they come across.
Yes, a good Survivor can run around even the best Spirits or Nurse's in a game... but when we're talking about casuals and decent Survivors... they'll get crushed really easily (depending on the Spirit or Nurses skill set)
Billy is another strong Killer, but Nurse and Spirit rank above him because Billy is actually the most balanced Killer in the game, hes loopable but still quite strong depending on the scenarios and maps he's given... With Nurse and Spirit they can usually make ALL scenarios and maps work in their advantage since their powers can ignore most if not all obstacles they come across.
For Spirit is most obstacles, but it depends how big that obstacle is... for Nurse... she can ignore literally everything due to her power No Cli- I mean her Blink power which lets her go through any obstacles in her path to get to the Survivor...
It's got to a point where most pro-nurses don't even use add-ons or offerings and still get 32k point games... (A 32k point game is a perfect game across all emblems)
tl;dr
Nurse is the strongest, once Patch 3.3.0 rolls out in a few days or so... than Spirit will be the strongest. Spirit and Nurse can ignore pretty much all obstacles.
Nurse's add-ons and power is one of the strongest in the game, but soon her base-kit will be nerfed and so will her add-ons. Spirit can also ignore almost all obstacles but if that obstacle is too big than its a bit harder... For Nurse, she can ignore ALL obstacles... all of them.
Also, Nurse doesn't need add-ons or offerings to get a 32k point perfect game, while Spirit can also do well with add-ons but it helps a bit more... So Pre-nerf Nurse is currently the strongest at the moment.

May just be perspective. I figured they were SWF since you're braver in a group of friends. You know (or think) the others will approve of what you're saying/doing. If it's just a duo, one person would at least. People are more likely to do something in a group that they probably wouldn't otherwise and a lot of people aren't very vocal while on their own (you get the bystander effect due to that). They're trying to avoid having everyone turn on them. Also if they weren't SWF, they'd likely to be addressing everyone since (if reacting to past experience) anyone can urban evade around the map and do nothing.
As for the point in regards to killers, a lot of killers get tunnel vision. They're chasing after this person for so long and they think they'll get them down at the next spot. If you're smart about it, you won't get caught chasing after one person for too long, but it happens to the best of us. What were you wearing? I may have missed it if you already mentioned it. This usually isn't important, but a lot of killers get tilted over stealth players since it's so easy to lose them and wastes a lot of their time. I had a match on a really dark map with a full team of Claudettes (all in the darkest clothes) and it was hell. A lot of killers don't like that.
Well no, they were specifically addressing me... nobody else is really known more for sneaking around and stealth like Claudette (Hide and seek champion 2016)
But yeah, they were specifically addressing me because I was a Claudette... So automatically they made the assumption that I would be worthless to the team because I was a Claudette.
And I was wearing the Producer Pants (The best pants), Claudettes P3 Face, and the black jacket with the red trim on the bottom... It's not entirely stealthy because of that BRIGHT red trim at the bottom, but it can be in some places... but what isn't stealthy for Claudette? She has a built in stealth field...
Anyways, its not like I was running full brown clothes Claudette... Cause than that would make a bit more sense and I kind of don't like it either when I face it as a Killer... But even when people use it, if I OPEN my eyes enough I can still see those people most of the time depending on the map.
Regardless if The Wraith was specifically targeting me or not, the main point still stands. You shouldn't be toxic or make assumptions about someone and openly express it in the pre/post chat... Cause than YOU look like the jerk in that scenario, all because you hate that Survivor from past experiences...

I agree for the most part. However I will say that assuming a Leatherface is going to camp(or even every killer) or certain killers/every killer will tunnel is not really toxic. I view it more as expecting the worst to keep yourself alive. If it's a Bubba, it's a GOOD thing to assume he's going to camp the basement. Helps keep you alive. If you see Bubba, you stay away from the basement. Assuming every killer is going to tunnel also helps keep you alive. Assuming the worst helps keep you alive because you play more warily.
That said, what I do agree with is the part where killers bring moris because they see a Claudette, or someone with a toolbox, or a flashlight, or a med kit, or a key. Basically any time 2 or more survivors have anything in their hands. Assuming someone is going to behave a certain way imo is not problematic. ACTING TOXIC AGAINST PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU ASSUME SOMETHING ABOUT THEM IS.
Yeah, but the main point was not to act toxic towards others because they play a certain Killer or Survivor that say... YOU specifically for example, don't like.
It's just not right...

Yeah I'm on the correct one, that's what I felt when reading this wall of text.
Than explain what you're talking about because I don't understand what you're talking about...
What achievement? And what're you referring to as harmless? The constant toxicity that people display towards certain mains that play Survivors they don't like?
That's not really... harmless?

I'm glad you wrote this. Since I recently started reading the forums, I was shocked at how many hateful comments have been made toward Claudettes. I love Claudette and she's my favorite to play. I think she's the cutest survivor. :)
Exactly ;)

So just because you got denied an achievement you decide to blame a dumb harmless thing that people do ?
Are you on the correct thread?

[Please read before reading the entire post]
I'm just gonna give you what I gave someone else since it's pretty much the same points i'd write again if I didn't...
It kind of speaks in-general of what a good build to use on Pig is would be... but when you get to the add-on part it'll explain what's best to use on people to "make their heads go pop"
If you want exactly what you're asking for without reading this huge post... than go to the TL;DR, it'll basically just answer your question.
PERK BUILDS
For one, this is the build I use as The Pig and it usually keeps people off generators as well as giving me time to chase others without people gen rushing me during a chase, this build and many others with The Pig go together with her mechanics and power, so keep that in mind before you just read this and use the build without reading how to effective use her power.
What I use is this, Ruin, BBQ & Chili, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Brutal Strength. This perk combo along with her powers allows me to effective waste a Survivor teams time and gives me the opportunity to chase people down without worrying about time (To a degree, this isn't always the case)
I use Ruin because Ruin is the most meta perk and when not found can devastate a team even when they're able to hit great skill checks to a degree. Hitting Great Skill Checks takes focus, and if they hear the Killers Terror Radius while they're focusing on hitting those skill checks than they'll falter in those precise moments of concentration.
Next, I have BBQ & Chili so I can gain a ton of points post-game as well as have map knowledge around the map to know where people are and what they're doing, it also goes well with Pop Goes the Weasel as if I see 2 or more auras on a generator and I make it there in time, I'll be wasting their time running away from me and with Brutal Strength I can quickly kick the generator and proc Pop Goes the Weasel on the generator, which regresses it heavily.
After BBQ, I use Pop Goes the Weasel. Pop Goes the Weasel is insanely good as a meta perk for most M1 Killers, and it's especially detrimental on The Pig for many reasons. For one, when you hook a Survivor you're given a flat 60 second timer to kick any generators you see fit deserves of a regression, and once kicked those generators are given a 25% regression penalty instantly after the generator is kicked completely.
This works well with The Pig because of how her RBTs (Reverse Bear Traps) help slow the game down, and when used on a Survivor they'll be more focused on removing the RBT than they will be worrying about the generator as a whole. It also goes well with Brutal Strength, Surveillance (One of The Pigs unique perks), and even Overcharge.
Last, I use Brutal Strength over perks like Surveillance and Overcharge for many the extra bonus it helps me with in a chase. Brutal Strength (A unique The Trapper perk) increases my kick speed by 10/15/20% depending on the level, and this works with generators AS WELL as pallets as well. As a M1 Killer, breaking pallets and removing them from the game is very important, as chasing as a M1 Killer is quite difficult at ranks like Purple and Red due to the odds being stacked against most M1 Killers depending on the map.
ALTERNATE PERKS TO USE WITH THIS BUILD
If you feel like Brutal Strength isn't needed, you can swap it out for perks like Overcharge or Surveillance. Overcharge will give a skill check after a Survivor attempts to repair it again, and sometimes the Survivors will fail it and regress the generator even more.
Beware though, Overcharge is easy to hit the skill check on, and at Red Ranks the perk is worthless unless on Killers like The Doctor WITH perks like Unnerving presence that increase the difficulty of the skill check, as well as decrease the size of the skill check... so on killers like The Pig it's not worth using at higher ranks honestly.
Now, a perk like Surveillance is very useful on The Pig. It's one of her unique perks and it can be effective in keeping track of generators you have kicked and regressed with Pop Goes the Weasel. It gives a white aura when its been kicked and tells you nobody has touched it, and when someone does touch it it turns yellow for a limited time before returning to red. Indicating that someone has stopped the regression on the generator and is possible working on it.
If you don't need perks like BBQ also, you can swap that out for perks like Enduring, Corrupt Intervention to assist with Ruin in-case the perk breaks early, and Nurse's Calling to help track people who're healing within a radius of 24 meters.
ADD-ON COMBOS
The best add-on combos to use on The Pig is something standard like Last Will + Bag of Gears, or Rules Set No.2 + Bag of Gears. Rules Set No.2 is useful to keep people from removing their RBTs until a generator is complete to activate them, and overall isn't useful for any other perk combo, as the add-on alone isn't very useful for other advanced add-on combos, and it should honestly be in base-kit to be honest...
for an advanced add-on combo, you can try these two. Crate of Gears + Tampered Timer is the best add-on combo for The Pig at the moment, due to how Crate of Gears considerably decreases the time it takes to search through Billy boxes, as well as moderately increasing the time it takes to put the RBT on a down Survivor (So it's insanely fast)
Added with Tampered time decreases the RBTs death time from 2 minutes and 30 seconds, to 2 minutes flat. That add-on with Crate of Gears can actually kill a lot of Survivors if you're around a Billy box they're at. And if they don't just search boxes right away and do generators to activate it, it takes about a 30 seconds or so to search one Billy box...
So in theory, if they waste too much time doing random things, and they'll instantly be killed by the RBTs... that's why this add-on combo is the deadliest of The Pigs add-on combos.
If you feel Tamper Timer isn't needed, you can also try Crate of Gears + Bag of Gears to decrease the time it takes to search Billy boxes by about... 45 seconds each I believe. But the time on the RBT is set back to its default 2 minutes and 30 seconds, so its debatable if both add-on combos give the same reduced time or not. (IMO, Tampered Timer + Crate of Gears definitely reduces the time more than both those other add-ons.)
tl;dr
For add-ons, use Tamper Timer + Crate of Gears for the best add-on combo to pop someones head with the RBTs...
And if you need perks, try out Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, BBQ & Chili, and brutal strength Brutal Strength for the best gen stopping build... to combo with this.
Rules Set 2. is a nice add-on... but it's not really good to use over an add-on slot... you should use that add-on combo above because it'll waste time searching in Billy Boxes... and it'll bring the base time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds down to 2 minutes.

Oh no, I will not be baited into obscene language against another persons, sire. You, sire, are an exceptionally well-read, well-to-do fellow with the graciousness of your words only equal to our greatest thespians and Mother Theresa. While I have read your post — immaculately conceived, brilliant, unrivaled by any mere commoner — I have taken it upon myself to not acknowledge the topic, yet offer good tidings in the ritual of my daily klonopin pill. Cheers to you! Hip, hip, hooray!
I very much enjoyed reading that for some reason, even though it was supposed to be mocking me lol.

You honestly put way too much thought into this.
Ok...?
A lot of discussions are on small things that don't really impact that game that much... Toxicity isn't the massive issue within the game itself... but it's still an issue.
I'm sorry I didn't focus on NOED, Spirit, The Nurse's nerf, or 100 more of the other posts that're caught in an echo chamber...
-
I'm at Red Rank in Survivor and Killer but I don't even main Survivor...
For me, I use basic info to usually do alright against most Killers... except specific OP ones like Nurse and Spirit. You want to not really waste the god pallet (shack pallet) within such a small time during the game, and if you can't really manipulate the loop well than you shouldn't really force a chase there for more than a few seconds.
The best I can say is to not waste pallets that're close together, use a loop to it's maximum than branch other to different pallets that're a decent amount of meters away... if you just throw pallets down in the same parts of the map than you're creating a deadzone that will kill any Survivor that goes near there...
If you struggle with loops, you should try investigating how to use tiles effectively... a lot of common tiles spawn on most maps, so you should get familiar with those tiles... here's a video I suggest to learn about what those tiles are!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6QYjInzLeM&t=3sWhen it comes to generators, don't and I mean DON'T complete generators that're close to each other... depending on the map structure if you complete generators on one side of the map while having a lot on another... than you'll box your entire team to one spot of the map and do something that's called "3 gening" yourself.
When you 3 gen yourself, this means you have 3 generators on the map that're insanely close together... If you do this than ANY Killer can monitor all 3 of those generators from a vantage point or just some simple back and forth patrolling between them...
3 gening your team can really get everyone Killed... and it's something you should definitely avoid in a match. You should always focus on the middle generator in the map first... doing so will almost 100% guarantee you won't 3 gen yourself. It'll also make getting generators done while the Killer is chasing someone a lot easier since they're far from each other.
Of course in most situations you might not be able to finish the middle generator or even go there due to the maps size of the Killer being there quite often to get from either side... Some maps suffer from this like Azarov's Resting Place, Lerys, Ormond, maps that requires the Killer to go through the middle part of the map to get to the other side... or the middle part of the map is so small that it's easy to monitor it like Ormond or Azarov's Resting Place.
This is the best I can suggest because I don't main Survivor, but this should help a bit I suppose!

Unless a developer comes in here to answer that... than this question is unknown. Usually a lot of crows tend to spawn the most in bigger maps, so maps like Cold Wind Farms, Azarovs, Macmillian, Crotus, etc.
As for which has the most crows... this is impossible to answer from the community's side since nobody really cares to know this... and it's not really something anyone actively searches for anyways.
For all we know every map might just have a random set of crows that spawns in each time, it's entirely unknown.
