That's up to the devs to decide. Also this isn't a dev Q&A, so don't be surprised if you don't get a direct response from a dev.

Personally, I doubt they'd extend the bloodrush any further, there isn't a reason to (besides maybe easter). It would be cool though if they did.

  • @batmanscar said:

Im talking about j.myers memorial add-on , the green version . I can't find it in the blood web anymore has it been removed ?

No, it hasn't. Just keep going through blood-webs and you'll eventually find it. The J Myers Memorial Add-on doesn't show up a lot in the first place, so it's easy to assume that the add-on was removed.

If anything was changed or removed, than it would've been mentioned in the patch notes. But no, it's just because of RNG (aka bad luck).

  • @cdoremus101419

Can you explain what those were? I've never heard of "Twitch Challenges" before.

    As for an answer

If nothing has been said about it, which I haven't personally seen anything about it, than that answer is unknown... Only a dev can answer that if it's not publicly said anywhere.

  • @Oicimau said:

    No release date confirmed.

    @ZackSax This ^

If nothing is posted anywhere officially, than there is no official date. Some speculate that it'll come around 2 weeks from now, but that's just speculation due to how past PTBs work.

  • edit

I found how you can do this, it's not in the "Edit Profile" section, it's done through the screenshot option which is located on your profile page. You can find the "Screenshot" link below your badges.

    image.png

Once you go there, you go to the "Artwork" tab in that page and upload your art and/or gifs there. Once uploaded, it should make a similar showcase to the Screenshot one, except this one can display art properly, as well as gifs.

Just to clarify - i didn't know you could actually look up the unlocked perks, but armed with my new knowledge i looked it up and borrowed time is being shown as unlocked.

So it really just doesn't spawn for some reason.

I will contact the support now. If there is a way to fix this "manually", i will probably post the solution here - otherwise you'll either see it being fixed in the next patches.

We'll have to see, feel free to keep me posted in this post (if you want to).

Besides that, I don't see any other reason for BT to not show up... Besides a bug of some sort. If you were getting other perks than this would be different, that just means you're having "bad RNG", aka luck. But no perks are showing up, so it seems to be a bug of some sort.

  • @brightyface

Usually it takes 2 weeks or so for a new Rift to open, since there is a 2 week grace period in between every Rift if i'm not mistaken...

That's just a personal estimate though, there are no official dates as of right now. Usually when a new Rift or DLC releases, it isn't announced until it's about to release.

  • @bigyikes

For context from the end of the comment above, that rarity increase is quite small. But besides that, you don't lose your cosmetics no, you just lose the offerings, add-ons, perks, and/or offerings from that characters previous prestige level.

This comment doesn't really add much else unfortunately, I just wanted to clarify that the rarity increase is not as big as you'd hope it to be. Prestiging in-general is just a goal for completionists, it doesn't offer anything else besides that and some slight rewards with the bloody cosmetic pieces. If you'd like a goal, than give P3-50ing a try! If not, than staying at P0, P1, or P2 acceptable as well.

The bloody cosmetic pieces is kind of a small reward for prestiging, so if you'd like different variants from the default skins than that's a nice goal to work for.

If I might ask for your option, should I just prestige and work back up or just stay at level 50 for a while and try my my luck there, thanks for the input btw

If your goal is to get to Prestige 3, which is the last prestige, than yes. Otherwise if you're just trying to get WGLF Tier 3 than no, do not go to prestige 2. You've already gotten several perks out of the pool, so your odds of getting WGLF Tier 2 and Tier 3 are increased because of this.

Less perks in the pool means a better chance at the perk you're going for. If you reset, than you'll have to (potentially) go through more perks to just get WGLF, depending on how many teachables you have unlocked and how many teachable perks are in the pool. Think of it like this, the more perks you have in the pool to go through, the harder it is to get the perks you want. So in theory, if you reset you'll have a harder time finding the perks you want.

But here's the thing with RNG, it's unpredictable... You could get WGLF back to back to back in that reset, or you could go through the entire perk list before it shows up. Your odds increase because you already got rid of several perks by leveling up David to level 50, if you reset... the odds reset as well.

    A slightly less confusing explanation

If you reset, you might come across previously owned perks again. This will cost more Blood-Points to get out of the way, thus making the grind a lot longer. Your odds decrease with more perks in the pool, so don't reset if you're not going for Prestige 3.

If you stay at P1-50 David, than your odds increase because less perks are in the pool. You've probably gotten several perks to Tier 3 already, so they won't show up again in future blood-webs to decrease your chance of getting WGLF again.

  • @NoPressure22

There are no perks that're restricted to one tier, that doesn't exist and isn't happening with WGLF in your situation. Your issue is just bad RNG, that's all there is to it.

As your own title implies, just be patient and it'll eventually come to you. RNG in-general is all luck based, you could get what you want in one "roll" or it could take you several "rolls" before you get what you want. Just replace "rolls" with blood-webs and the same premise is there.

To clarify, not getting WGLF in a few blood-webs does not mean the perk was changed in anyway. Not getting something you need is purely coincidental, it has nothing to do with a set path or anything like that. In the blood-webs case, it's all just RNG (aka luck).

i found it now but how do i put on my steam profile?

Go to your profile page, click "Edit Profile", than go to the bottom of the list until you see the "Featured Showcase" option. After you get to that option, click the "Screenshot Showcase" option and upload the image you want to share. This is how you can display artwork on your profile, just make sure that your settings are not privated so people can see the images.

On the off chance that you're asking about changing your profile picture, than you can do so by going to the same "Edit Profile" page and than you'll see an option to upload an image as your profile picture.

    Hey!

first of all - thank you for your quick response.

    • I am Playing on PC via Steam
    • I have all perks that are available to me fully upgraded to level 3, so there were not more perks to buy in any of my last 3 (no even more) bloodwebs. I first thought that was because i had bought all of them. It wasn't until i wanted to run a build with Borrowed Time that i noticed, that those two were missing on my tapp.
    • I am not sure about Borrowed Time, but i unlocked Saboteur on Jake Park through the Bloodweb. I levelled al my survivors to lvl ~40 to get all the teachable perks.
    • My Nea Karlsson - as i said - does even have saboteur because i got it through the bloodweb.

    Thank you so far!

Well for one you're not on Console, which might've explained why Bills BT was not present. A lot of console users had to re-gain his teachables after he was released for Console, but since you're not on Console... This issue doesn't apply to you.

As for the rest of the sub-answers, the 2nd answer tells me that no perks are showing up in your blood-webs at all, despite not having BT or Saboteur in their perk list. The 3rd answer didn't really specify if BT was unlocked, which you can check by going back in the Character Info and seeing if a check mark is next to Borrowed Time in Bills Bio. But regardless if it's or not, Saboteur should've showed up by now in any of your blood-webs... But it hasn't. In fact, from what you're telling me... No perks are showing up in any of these blood-webs as a result, which means something is not adding up here in either your story or how the game views your perk list.

As for the 4th answer, I don't really know what you mean by Nea Karlsson. Are you telling me that she does have Saboteur through the blood-web or not? The typo kind of confuses me with that one.

    final ANALYSIS

It seems to me that you're experiencing some sort of bug with a few (if not all) of your Survivors. They don't have the perks in their list, so they should show up in your Blood-webs as a result. But from what you've told me, this isn't the case at all.

There isn't much else that I can do as a result, since this seems to be layered behind other unknown information and/or issues with the game itself and how it perceives what you have left or not. My best advice is to bring this issue to the Support Team and see what they can do from there, they might uncover some hidden information that you and I are not aware of... Or fix the issue altogether if it's a bug.

No problem, i'm glad that the previews were satisfying and helpful in your final decision.

  • @batmanscar

You're thinking of J Myers Memorial as said above, it's still the same as it's always been. The alternatives to this add-on is the lower tier one (Memorial Flower) and the alternative scenario specific one (Judith's Journal). Besides those add-ons, there is no other add-on that increases Michael Myers charge speed.

So peanits, do you know something about this problem? Almo just ignored me again, but I hope you won't.

There is only one issue with this ending statement, this sub-forum isn't a dev Q&A... So getting a response will take some time, if they even see this post that is.

The Devs do come around from time to time, but they don't actively seek out questions because this sub-forum doesn't require them to. The time they put in outside of that is entirely up to them, so getting an answer might take some time or might never happen at all. They're not actively ignoring questions, but they're not obligated to visit this sub-forum everyday either.

So hopefully you do get an answer, just don't be surprised if you don't.

This makes sense, thanks. I play on PS4 and never bought Unbreakable so I guess I levelled a few characters up before Bill came out and that’s why they have his perk already. I’ll just work on levelling him up, thanks for the help :)

No problem, glad I could clear this up for you.

  • @MikeyHRT

I'm guessing you play on Console, if you do... Than you're suffering from an issue that a lot of returning players face in the Console version. For one, Bill was released to the Console version awhile back, this brought an issue where some players have to re-unlock his teachables again BECAUSE he was fully released for the Console version. Since Bill being released starts him off at Level 1, this also makes it so that his teachables were reset as well.

So in turn, the teachables from Bill that you bought on the Shrine of Secrets are now void. You either need to get them back from the Shrine again OR unlock them through his level 30, 35, and 40 blood-webs.

There are a few holes in this answer though, for one... You might not even be on the Console version, which would in turn make this entire explanation above pointless. Second of all, it seems you didn't buy these perks from the Shrine beforehand, so it's odd that some of your Survivors have it unlocked. My theory is that you don't remember buying these perks from the Shrine, and since the Console version released Bill afterwards... It reset them and requires you to unlock them again as a result.

Regardless if you're on PC or Console, you need to re-unlock these perks to have them show up again. You can tell if they're unlocked or not by going to the "Character Info" section and look at Bills Bio. When at his Bio, you can tell if they're unlocked when a check mark is next to these perks. You can find the "Character Info" section by going to your Survivor Menu (aka Pre-Match Menu for Survivors) and looking for "Character Info" under your rank and Survivors level.

  • @Scotin

I had a friend compile everything you asked for, i'll list each image below in their own section so everything is nice and neat. Hopefully I got everything you wanted, some of the requests didn't really specify too much.

[Request number 1] pink bunny ears (solo) Pink Bunny ears (full outfit)

    image.png image.png

[request #2] Pink Fuzzy Hoodie (Solo) and Ruffled Top (combo'ed)

    image.png image.png

[request #3] Axolotl Kitty Skirt, Cherry Blossom Skirt, and stripes and spots

    image.png image.png image.png

    ending statement

All credit goes to my friend (who will stay anonymous), this couldn't be possible without their help and time. As for what you've been given, I hope it helps you you decide on buying the outfit or not... If you haven't already bought the outfit. I'm glad I could get this out to you though, hopefully it's exactly what you wanted to preview.

I understand that it can be hard to preview some outfits WITHOUT owning the full outfit itself, the store only offers so much with previews without the outfit already being bought, so you're only limited to one item previews each.

  • @RDM

No, saying "GG EZ" is not a bannable offence, whatever you did to get this ban is entirely different from those comments you make every post-match. They either tell you why you were banned in an email, or they don't. It's best to review the rules and possible deduce that outcome yourself in private. See if anything you've been doing corresponds to any offences below. I'll link the Game Rules below so you can figure that out for yourself.

As for a direct answer for WHY you were banned, that's something you'll have to message BHVR about. I certainly couldn't tell you because I didn't issue it, and this sub-forum isn't made to speculate/talk about bans anyways.

Here's the link to the game rules

    @RDM said:

Also, do these bans deteriorate? Like if I'm a good sport for six or so months and then get banned again, would it still be permanent? I'm not asking this because I plan to do what I did again (I do not.)

I can't answer that one, I've never heard of bans "deteriorating" before. All I know is that if whatever you were banned for has a tier system, than the next time you do... whatever it was that you did...will yield a harsher ban each time.

But again, I don't know, that's entirely up to the devs.

I've been playing the game/refreshing the dailys every day. only time I wasn't playing was a week where I played something else. Good news is that I finally got a survivor daily. But getting 1 in months (and after doing 3 killer dailys) is just sad imo

Just sounds like an E X T R E M E case of bad luck my friend, happens to the best of us.

RNG in-general is mysterious, it either gives you the best results... Or it gives you the worst. That's why it's called RNG, it's all random. It's purely coincidental that you got so many non-survivor dailies in a row.

  • @sanki said:

    @sanki said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1206580#Comment_1206580

Thanks for answering my question, sir.

But the problem seems not so simple as you think...

The "streetwise" reduces item Consumption rate by 25 % (tier 3), that means it will only cost 16×(100%-25%)=12 charges for healing one health state. So a standard med-kit with 24 charges ought to be enough for 2 states of healing...

As for the "botany knowledge", it will increase Item's efficiency by 33 %(tier 3), that means a standard med-kit will come up to 24×(100%+33%)≈32 charges. That also guarantees 2 states of normal healing.(Actually, 33% →33.333...%=1/3)

You don't need to @ several people to the post, patience is key.

Anyways, 25% of 24 charges is 6 charges, it's not taking this total from the 100%, it's taking it from the total base charges that the item has by default. But I get what you're trying to say, why doesn't a standard med-kit already have enough charges to heal both health states? Well, are you sure that a standard med-kit takes 12 charges for 1 health state?

From a basic view, it seems the Streetwises bonus doesn't yield enough charges for a 2nd health state, since it must take more than 12 charges to heal from one health state by default. This means that the standard 24 charges is only enough for 1 health state and maybe half of another one, which means that Streetwise STILL doesn't give you enough charges to get you to a 2nd health state, since Streetwise only increases your charges and NOT your healing speed in anyway.

Botany Knowledge is different, it works off of the default healing speed (with no restrictions), since the "Considerably increases" for this med-kit only works for other plays and NOT self healing. So this means that the 33% increase to the speed on the potential 16 seconds is enough to yield more results for 2 health states, unlike Streetwises charge increase, since increasing the charges won't yield a second health state IF it doesn't give you enough charges to do so.

All in all, the charge consumption rate for items is pretty confusing, and the information Suicidefox gave above is probably why they're trying to fix this in the future. There isn't a solid answer that I or someone else can give, only a Dev can really help you here.

  • @Weaslbee

Your story has some holes in it, allow me to ask a few sub-questions before giving you an answer. This is so I can get a more "clear picture" on your situation and can further help you with your issue. I'll ask my questions in a list below, short and sweet. Sorry if this is somewhat of a bother, but i'd like to get you an accurate answer.

    • What platform do you play on? PC or Console?
    • When you went through these 3 consecutive blood-webs, did any perks show up in all 3 of them? Or were you only concerned with the 2 perks that WEREN'T showing up. (I know you said that those blood-webs only featured items, but i'm just clarifying this to be sure).
    • Were these perks acquired on the Shrine of Secrets, or were they unlocked through Bill and Jakes blood-webs?
    • Are you sure that Saboteur and Borrowed Time are unlocked? Check both Jake Park and Bills "Character Info" pages to confirm this. The Character Info button is located under your Rank and the Survivors level on the Survivor menu (aka the pre-match screen).

A little guess of what your issue might be (without the sub-questions being answered)

Without the information above, i'd guess that your 2 specific perks are just not showing up BECAUSE of your RNG. Just because they didn't show up, doesn't mean they will NEVER show up, it's just bad luck is all.

If it's not that, than it could be an issue with the perks themselves... If you got them from the Shrine of Secrets that is. This sounds somewhat like a bug, but without the information above... It's hard to come to that conclusion.

  • @Dejan

You can find it anywhere on google, just google "Dead By Daylight artwork" in google and search through google images, save a photo to your folder, and that's it. You can also just grab random images from a Killers movie like Michael Myers or Freddy, anything will do.

Also I don't understand what you mean by "how do I put it on my steam account?", do you want it as a profile picture? Or do you want it as a display for your steam art gallery? If it's for a profile picture, than you just go to Profile, Edit Profile (which is on your Profile itself), and than you can change it in the settings. If it's for a steam art display, than you need a certain steam level to unlock the ability to display art on your profile page.

  • @batmanscar said:

I should refrase the question , if I play as ghostface , is his gameplay like pigs ? do I have to crouch to make my terror radius zero ?

and I got ur reply for my second one

No, his Terror Radius will suppress itself when you activate his ability "Nightshroud". You'll know that Nightshroud is active when you press the M2 button during it's availability. You'll be knocked out of Nightshroud if you do a basic attack OR if a Survivor looks in your direction for a set amount of time. The mechanic for this is finicky, but they need to have clear view of you to knock you out of it.

Crouching is just used to reduce visibility and/or hide behind objects, it isn't tied to his Terror Radius in anyway. Also to clarify, you'll know when Nightshroud is active when Ghostface raises the position of his knife slightly higher than normal, kind of like when he's in a chase. You can also tell when it's active when you see the "smokey borders" on the left and right sides of your screen, kind of like when The Wraith is cloaked or when The Pig is crouching.

  • @Raven014 said:

Yes, they do. A similar icon to Dying light, it appears next to their perks as a red perk image. Kinda dumb since you want people to leave the gen, not commit to it.

To be honest, it should have a similar effect to what Surge does, it pushes them off the Generator BUT keeps them off it for the remainder of Dead Man Switches activation. That'd probably be too OP, but that's another discussion for another potential post, i'm just putting my two cents in.

Sorry for getting off-topic, you can continue this on my wall if you'd like.

  • @immalikyotid

The Hatch will become visible whenever the number of fully repaired Generators exceeds the number of living Survivors by 1:

    • 4 Survivors remaining: 5 repaired Generators / Exit Gates are powered
    • 3 Survivors remaining: 4 repaired Generators / 1 Generator left
    • 2 Survivors remaining: 3 repaired Generators / 2 Generators left
    • 1 Survivor remaining: Spawns and opens regardless of how many generators remain.

This is a word for word rip from the DBD Wiki, i'll link my source below at the end of this comment. Anyways, my guess is that the number of Generators you had didn't meet the requirements above. If you had 2 Generators left with you and your friend still alive, than you must've missed the hatch being spawned, since it'll only spawn ONCE that 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Survivor is dead. Think of it like this, if 3 Survivors remain, than you need to do 4 Generators for the hatch to spawn, if 2 remain, than you only need to do 3. Every-time a Survivor dies, the required number of Generators rolls back by one, starting at 4 when the 1st Survivor dies.

    source for the quote above

    https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Hatch

    tl;dr

If 1 Survivor dies, than you subtract the total number of Generators you need to power the gates by 1, the total number you get (which would be 4) is the total amount of Generators you need to complete for the hatch to spawn. Keep subtracting 1 required Generator when another Survivor dies.

The hatch will only spawn AFTER the game knows that you completed the required Generators AND when that Survivor is officially dead.

  • @sanki

There's a lot of math into it, and i'm certainly not the person for that, but what I do know that healing speed increases are usually better than item consumption decreases... Mainly because item consumption rates that're decreased will not take away or add to the default healing speed that the standard med-kit comes with.

Botany Knowledge increases your healing speed by 33% on-top of the non-restricted self-healing that a med-kit provides. I believe the default time to heal yourself with a med-kit (not with Self Care) is 16 seconds, so you can do the math yourself and go from there. As for Streetwise, it only adds a 25% increase to the total 24 charges a standard med-kit comes with.

So in all, that's only about 6 more charges added onto it, making it 30 charges in total. That doesn't make the default time faster or slow, it just increases the amount of charges you have in TOTAL. This means that if it doesn't meet the total needed charges to fully heal yourself AFTER your first healing session... than it won't heal you again for a 2nd health state. As for Botany Knowledge, it'll make it to 2 health states because a 33% healing speed increases is a BIG increase to the default 16 seconds.

Not just that but it buys the other survivors a bit more time than them just dcing the moment they get downed for the first time so i would rather take a hook suicide than a dc and if you cant figure out why the reason why is the killer has to pick them up and take them to a hook and then hook them not only that but ive found thaf a dc tends to screw over the other survivors and tends to start a chain reaction of dcs while a hook suicide is tends to be 50/50

That too, DCing in-general seems to add more burdens than dying on a hook does. That doesn't mean either one is ok, but the latter is definitely less punishing on a Survivor team.

  • @Anthony9

The Xbox Dedicated Servers are still down right now, they were turned off some time ago in a tweet. I don't remember why they were turned off, but they're indeed not active for Xbox at this time.

This is probably why you're experiencing lag in-game, possible from the Killers connection or your own to the old system.

It's fine to do this yes, it doesn't say anywhere in the rules that you can't. You can post your submission on twitter or to friends, that's ok. The submission is judged by the devs themselves, so there isn't anything malicious you can do anyways.

Here's the link to the contests rules if you have any other concerns

You need to be within a few feet of a Survivor to get the "Kill" prompt to show up, once that prompt shows up THAN you can press and hold down M1 to initiate the mori.

If you already did this, than please let me know. This is the only way to "Tombstone Mori" someone, you can't just Mori them without that prompt showing up.

Found the proper setting in the GameUserSettings.ini, apparently changing "ScreenScaleForWindowedMode" will allow you to resize the window proper. Kinda wish it was an option ingame like it used to be, or if we could at least stretch the window or something rather than having to edit the file, but hey at least someone searching the forums will find it if they need I guess.

I thought this already exists in the in-game settings? At least to change the size anyways.

I'm guessing you're doing this for a wide-screen monitor? Which I don't personally know if changing the settings in the game files is a good idea, since it's (probably) treated as a "do at your own risk thing" like changing the perk icons in-game for example. By this, I mean EAC might detect it as cheating or something, but I doubt something like this really falls under the category, it's just a thought.

  • @slenderrender

The answer you'll get is entirely subjective and up to multiple interpretations. I'm going to alter my answer to address the question as "Who's the most fun/easiest Killer to play in your opinion?" rather than asking a question that could get you multiple different answers.

With that out of the way, i'll give you my opinion on it. For me personally, I think Michael Myers and Ghostface are the easiest and "funnest" Killers in the game. Allow me to elaborate more below in a bulleted list.

    • [Reason 1] (I PERSONALLY believe they're the "funnest" Killers because of their passive stealth powers. While Ghostfaces stealth power is more intimate than passive, they're both still fun to use in every scenario you face. A lot of Survivors will lose track of you or become paranoid because they're afraid of being grabbed off a Generator, hit, or snuck up on. It really does instill fear and/or paranoia in a lot of Survivors.)
    • [Reason 2] (They're the easiest to understand due to how both their powers work. Both Michael Myers and Ghostfaces powers ARE similar, but they're not exactly the same. Michael Myers can apply the exposed status effect (a one hit down effect) on every Survivor when he's fully charged into his Tier lll state, while Ghostface can "mark" individual or multiple Survivors to one hit down them WITHOUT a penalty to multiple Survivors being on the screen. Without going too in-depth, their powers have the same end result BUT they're easy to understand have a short video/explanation.)
    • [Reason 3] (Disregarding their powers for a second, they're also basic M1 Killers... So it's not really that hard to understand your priorities and limitations with both Michael Myers and Ghostface. This doesn't mean they're terrible Killers, but it does mean they're easy to understand and easy to learn with their powers as well. The passive/semi-passive stealth abilities they both posses really do help in a lot of scenarios, even though they're just M1 Killers at heart. You'll find yourself getting a lot of easy downs and hits off of unsuspecting Survivors in-game.)
    • [Reason 4] (Michael Myers and Ghostface are A LOT of fun to play with when you're on an in-doors map. Even if it's an outdoors map, the idea of sneaking up on unsuspecting Survivors to give them a heart-attack is sadistically fun in my opinion. Stealth abilities in-general are fun to use, but Michael Myers and Ghostface have the best stealth abilities in the game. You don't need to uncloak to hit someone like The Wraith or uncrouch like The Pig, it's pretty easy to use without little draw backs. The only one of the two with some draw backs is Ghostface, since he can be knocked out of his power "Nightshroud", but besides that it's pretty easy to understand.)

The charm is not an exclusive, it doesn't say anywhere on the tweet that it's an exclusive.

The charm will be given to everyone on PC and Console if mobile reaches 1mil pre-registrations, it's not given out to just the players that signed up for it. I too thought this to be the case, but unfortunately it's not an exclusive. Also the email you used is just a means for them to message you when the registration is over, or so I believe. This is why they didn't ask for your Steam account, PSN, etc.

I get all random. But I believe the Dailys are not all RNG, cause sometimes when I stick with a character, so the daily comes specially for him/her. And that happens a lot with me.

It's all RNG yes, the only guarantee is that you won't get dailies for characters you haven't unlocked. What is happening to you is completely coincidental.

Like most things in DBD, it revolves around RNG. This applies to Dailies (except for the exception above), Blood-Webs, some in-game mechanics, etc.

are you sure its not directional? i know it intensifies with distance and i could swear it was directional when i started playing dbd

Nope, it's for sure not directional from personal experience.

As said before, this is why you can't tell which floor the Killer is on when playing on a map like The Game, the Terror Radius just emits a non-directional sound that gives a vague idea of where the Killer is, it isn't determined by where you're looking and/or where you're listening. If it was directional, than you'd hear it a lot more in certain directions... But you don't.

You can determine how close the Killer is from prior knowledge of their base-kit Terror Radius, but besides that... There's no way to for-sure know what direction they're in, unless you look around for them of course.

  • @SadCyclops

It comes from the Killer themselves, that's where the Terror Radius is tied to. You can't exactly tell which direction it's coming from, but you can get a general idea of where the Killer is from knowing how big the Terror Radius is for that specific Killer.

That's why it's hard to really tell where a Killer is if you're in an in-doors map (for example). It doesn't really give you a direction to look, it's just a general idea of where they could be from inside the Terror Radius itself. The Gideon Meat Plant (aka The Game) is a good example, you can't tell which floor the Killer is on off of the Terror Radius alone because the Terror Radius itself has no directional sound. That's why most Survivors leave the area, despite the Killer not even being on that floor.

You can't tell if a Killer is above or below you, simply because there's no directional sound with the Terror Radius, it's just a general noise that emits itself when you're in its radius. Hopefully that's not as confusing as it sounds (no pun intended).

    Kate, Dwight, Legion, and Huntress.

I believe Yui is also a part of it as well. If not challenges, than at least in cosmetics.

  • @Famicx said:

I haven't gotten a single survivor daily in weeks if not months.

That sounds extremely unlucky, usually you'd get one after refreshing your dailies for a bit, but weeks and/or months...?

I didn't think about the possibility of you not being on EVERYDAY to refresh the pool, so that probably contributes towards it as well.

  • @Phoenix2195 said:

Eh I’ll report it on the bug page, but there’s no way to delete a post so just ignore this

You can @ a mod to this post if you'd like it to be deleted, but you really don't have to since you accepted an answer already. Even if you didn't, it doesn't really matter.

  • No problem, that's usually the best outlook you can have when there's nothing officially said at this time. Usually when a patch rolls out, it's not said until it's about to release/release on that day, so it's mostly speculation when there's nothing said beforehand.

  • @obamagaming99

There's no official date for when the update will be implemented, going off of previous PTBs... I'd gues about a week or two from the PTBs release. But again, that's a guess and NOT a fact.

  • @Joelwino

I don't see why not, if the cosmetic they choose does corrospond to that Killer/Survivor... Than yes, they could win again. Most likely not at the same time, but it really depends on what the devs choose as the winner(s).

  • @Aztreonam78

Like most things, it's a "do at your own risk" mentality. Changing the game files in-general will usually run the risk of EAC banning you, this is why players that change their icons in-game are told that it's a "do at your own risk" thing.

I don't know if this is a bigger risk than changing a perk icon or character portrait, nobodies really done it while casually going about their day afterwards, at least from what I've seen. I'm not really invested in how the game files work either (and what EAC monitors), so just take what I say with a grain of salt.

Keep in-mind that EAC banning you is not through BHVR, it's through an entirely different system. So If you did hypothetically get banned by EAC for this, than you would have to go to the owners of EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) about it, which I believe is owned by Epic Games studio.
