Using an addon is abusive now, apparently.
Try and ask yourself why there's 10 Nurses in a row? Nobody is pitying killers. That's the entire reason there's 10 Nurses in a row.
Also, the killer doesn't know if they're going against solo Q or SWF. So that's not an excuse.
Here's a super way past cool idea: What if we were able to see the percentage of swfs and solo players? That way we can make an educated decision on whether or not we want to wait a bit for a better chance at a solo team! It doesn't split the playerbase and it lets killers know whether or not to play right this second.
-
Hell nay.
-
Not here to give a build but I'll leave this here.

I'm sorry, but this is getting beyond irritating. Every match I play the killer tunnels the first person out immediately, and half of the time that person is me. DS doesn't even help because they'll just take the hit and go straight after you again. And the funny part is that the killer doesn't tunnel anyone else, just the first person. I would like to have a chance to actually play the game, thank you.
I'm afraid of teabagging. Plain and simple. Having to endure that in my 2k hours of this, I'm done. I'm not letting myself be degraded like this. I'm a killer and I shall do what I'm supposed to.

I despise FNAF, but that doesn't mean BHVR shouldn't add the license if they so choose to. My personal opinion should not override the opinions of others. That's called entitlement.
Spoken like a true Chad.

oh absolutely, same here. Whatever time I don't spend genrushing I spend looking for chests, which Plunderer's Instinct comes in handy for which I will include for some of my survivors.
I use it for the sole fact I'm really good with whatever I get. Brown toolbox? Sabo save. Flashlight? You know what happens next. etc.

I personally run Ace in the Hole, Deja Vu, Slippery Meat, and Streetwise for most of my survivors, being the player that does generators for most the game, but I get a fair share of crap for having pretty "straightforward" perks, as in not ones with overly complicated abilities as well as it being called a "rookie build". I would like to see what your sweaty builds that you like to play regardless of what others think, toxic, beginner or just annoying in general.
Ace in the Hole, Power Struggle, Flip flop and Sprint Burst. I piss off my team because I hump chests like my life depends on it.

My hopeless faith in this community says otherwise but alright.

I love reading ideas and feedback! The community has such fun ideas for the game, and they are all fun to think about.
Do you think that it's possible for people outside of the mod and dev team to have custom profiles? I wanna be able to use this so badly.
-
Ptb Legion. You could keep stabbing and wait for survivor to get unhooked, tunnel through bt and use your fifth hit to down them again. Not only that but even when using fifth hit on someone with endurance, it doesn't end frenzy.
-
Found super faint scratch marks and a crow flying just as I saw the marks as legion. Found them in a locker and they accused me right after the game ended. They were FURIOUS.

Who ever said Dbd is unfair and should be unfair? Nobody, in fact that's why the devs are balancing the game and making such nice updates to legion and ghostface!
Randomness doesn't make the game more fun, it makes it more frustrating because you have no consistent way of winning, especially THIS type of rng, which is not like the map generation one, but is just pure LUCK.
Woahwoahwoah, don't rope my boy into your argument!
-
Genji mains rejoice! >:D

Although these other ideas are interesting, the 3rd has to be my favorite since it grants benefits to those that are able to hit great skillchecks.

I said "potential" rather than "skill" on purpose, as the issue with flashlights (and a lot of other things in dbd) is the actual potential of what certain things can do is extremely unfair/over the top/stupid. Just because the average use cases of flashlights isn't that bad doesn't mean that flashlights can't be highly abused in certain scenarios.
People have said this to me many times and I'll say it to you. Those scenarios are just that, very rare circumstances. Not as if it'll happen every game.

The only thing I'm trying to "take away" is having a flashlight with 22 god forsaken charges (not to mention Built To Last).
It was just how you worded ceiling. Made me assume you meant skill ceiling.

The changes I presented in my post significantly reduce the ceiling potential of flashlights (which as of right now is way too high, being the reason why I made this post). I'm not sure what you're getting at.
So you're trying to take away the skill of... flashlights???

No, but you do start with adrenaline, unbreakable, iron will, bt, dead hard, kindred, sprint burst, wglf, spine chill, inner healing, bond, prove thyself, ruin, tinkerer, jolt, devour hope, and nurses calling.
But oh no! Other good perks you have to buy with in game currency that you can obtain even by afking the whole match! Even though you have all the necessary perks at your disposal to make a normal meta build, it's pay to win because I need something to hate bhvr for!!1!1!
Notice how you're no longer using your other talking points because people pointed out that you were wrong, you are also dead wrong about dbd being pay to win
Flesh and Mud along with Spark of Madness are free on consoles. Pc's a different story.

Its not about putting the players who are "high MMR Gods" as you put it, with players in the middle (main) category...but putting those insanely good players against the really really good players. It will not affect the majority of the players who are based within the middle category.
I'll put it in a calmer manner than the OP posted. I think this is a good idea. My main concern is regarding how this might be for people near the top such as the really really good players. The way that you said the majority might anger some folks. That's just how I view this, though.

tbh, can't tell if you're joking or not 😅but just in case: dots per inch aka mouse movement sensitivity.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2908867#Comment_2908867
what stuff for example? Only thing I can think if might be 360? --- Also out of curiosity: if playing ring around a rosie aka running in circles around sth ... what do you do after a couple of circles when the mouse is probably off-mousepad -- or do you smh not move the mouse as much to keep the view adjusted?
If you cannot tell, best to assume they aren't. But yeah. I have no idea why people call it that instead of just mouse sensitivity.

Left 4 Dead 2 for me. I did play Apex but I wanted to get more space on my pc since there seemed to be not so much. Turns out my screen recording software was on for 19 hours... Now I regret uninstalling such a good shooter...

3 tokens of endurance. remember you have to mend before endurance can be applied again.
Endurance is still an iffy thing. It's literally an extra health state.

wouldn't that be overpowered considering most survivors look behind them in chase? maybe once all the survivors are sacrificed, tokens are now considered endurance tokens, and the max stacked token effects are not lost?
You say my idea's op and you consider infinite endurance???

"Last Stand" in general is a very cool name for a perk, it reminds of the line from the Bruce Springsteen song that inspired the name for Stephen King's most popular novel The Stand, "Tonight all is silence in the world, as we take our stand". As for the perk itself It'd be great in those endgame builds that are somewhat popular within the portion of the fanbase that plays solo queue only, it'd be the Spine Chill to Left Behind's Premonition as well.
I felt it was alright to be lenient with how tempered it would be considering hatch doesn't give mmr to a survivor.

What I find stupid is that people still say that I'm tunneling them off of hook despite the fact they have DS and BT and are using it to bodyblock on purpose when I JUST WANNA GO AFTER SOMEONE ELSE!
LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE, YUI!

Just as an overall standard I'm anti-creepypasta. As far as licensing goes there are a multitude of options that are far more interesting and provocative than any of the lazily written "scary stories" that cropped up on the internet in 2011.
In what universe would I pick that garbage over something from Stephen King???
I mean if you like that kind of thing okay, more power to you, but you couldn't tell me that it's actually a better and more viable alternative to a real license. That's just a waste of time and resources imo.
Why does everyone keep ignoring the fact that BHVR would have the opportunity to put their own original spin on it like they did for many of the originals? Including a certain hybrid whom I adore very much.

I gotta be honest, sole survivor would still be pretty sucky. I have an idea you can add to your idea in a thematic manner. When you are the last survivor standing, stand your ground and stare down the killer. If you stare them down for 5 seconds, have your character be treated like the environment and have their attack not phase you. You do not get a speed boost from this hit and the killer only suffers a missed attack cooldown.
I call this effect when staring down the killer the empowered effect.

Ya know the bad survivors who have their hand held through every part of the game? And just cry for nerfs whenever a killer takes skill to verse?
Welp artist it was fun playing you but I'm not gonna put days worth of playtime into another killer that's gonna get gutted in a few months time. I learned my lesson from slinger.
Legion it is. Time to stock up on Julies mixtapes to jam out every match. Free-entry raves located in house of pain featuring franks and julies mixtapes when the patch drops :)
Mind pairing that with Susie's? Also they should really make the adjustable music unlockable toggles like the Bubba masks.

If sprint burst was like that I'd be relieved to see DH :P
What if it was at the same speed as a 115% movement speed killer but lasted twice as long? They wouldn't gain more distance but it would be kept the same? That's an interesting idea!

It's apparently unexplainable. I don't really like talking too much about it, but for context in how sick I look, I'm 6'2 and 115 pounds. I look like a hideous skeleton and I don't feel much better than I look.

My health continues to fail me. I can't really eat without being sick, I can barely sleep, I had one organ quit, another is well on its way, I get horrible migraines and I just found out I have a heart problem too.
Sooner or later, something important is going to quit on me. It'd be a modern miracle if my health improves.
Damn. How did this even happen?

It sounds like something you would hear in Hollow Knight (God home, of course), and having any music be comparable to Hollow Knight is no easy feat.
I'm curious what was similar to the songs in godhome as I've never gotten there. Mainly because I first played on ps4 and I switched to pc.

Balanced could just be made to only reduce stagger and not give a speedboost at the benefit of not being an exhaustion perk. That's a good idea, right?

Amanda. She's been through hell and back in many different forms. That has to account for something. Made her into a better person with the hardships that she has faced. If I could spend one day to make anyone happy, definitely her. She deserves it.
