Killers cry just as much and seem to forget the nerfs that survivors had to deal with.
The entire survivor vs killers dynamic OUTSIDE of the game is the fault of both sides and pretty annoying at this point.
When was the last serious survivor nerf, the DS rework last year that made it arguably stronger or the bug fix on balanced landing

Good, to heck with them for doing this to us

If a nightmare company like EA bought DbD and turned it into a sellout product like Battlefront 2 but overhauled the code into functionality would it really be worse that the spot we're in now?
-
I went back to F13th, it got a bug and balance patch today too despite them being blocked from making new content. The devs have ruined what was one of the most fun and unique games I've ever played and let me express my love for horror. I'll still play sometimes but I've never lost this much interest in the game before today's patch

What you show makes your whole point irrelevant.
You said it yourself, those aren't the norm. If it isn't the norm, then start showing the other ones where you get trounced with all the gens popping in 4 to 5 minutes and they escape with the killer unable to do much while playing as hard as they can.
--
Cause that one... Shows a Spirit crushing those survivors very easily.
If anything what this proves is killers have been condition to believe, if 2 gens pop before you get your first survivor hooked, means you've lost. That didn't even happen in the video cause 2 were on the hook in the basement before the first 2 gens popped.
Killers are also been condition to believe they should kill all 4 or it isn't a win.
The mentality needs to change. This post just reinforces that conditioning that exists with many killer players.
That's NOT the killer mentality, I'm so sick of that lie

I gotta be honest, I'm pessimistic that the devs will actually do anything. They either lack the competence or the foresight to think more than 2 steps ahead of any change they make, and then try to tell killers to adapt while gutting the current meta, and then the next one within a few months. I doubt we'll see any meaningful changes until they scrap their balance team and hire people, or at least listen to, people who play the game at high ranks consistently. Expect your opinion to go by the wayside if you aren't a new player, that's how little they care right now
The entire balance team seriously needs to be fired, no way around it
-
They don't give a f about us, even though we've spent $100+ on the game we don't matter to BHVR
-
The madness changes wreck it, he's overall weaker now
-
Madness is soooooooo easy to snap out of now it's inconsequential, just git gud like survivors have been telling killers to do
-
After Freddy rework but before Steanger things where they began going totally crazy on nerfs
-
It's totally worthless, I bet there are 10 games where monto got totally beclowned and he only showed this one that went ok

I love how with NOED its always the survivors fault. “Just cleanse totems”.
Yeah because adding what is essentially an extra generators worth of time to stop the killer from whizzing about with unlimited instadowns at a time when when there are very few pallets left on the map is a reasonable counter.
However when a killer complains about DS, advise them to stop tunneling and its like you’ve asked them to do the impossible.
Foaming at the mouth with survivor bias
-
There's a clear counter to noed same as there was for ruin but survivors can't stand any difficulty for their side whatsoever so begging for nerfs incoming

Well expect a decrease in killer players as well enjoy the long queue times survivors, even if the devs disable matchmaking (A rank 20 killer going against 4 man swf red ranks) It'll only encourage new players to not play the game in the first place. When we all thought that this game was "actually" going to get better. DBD has committed oof.
I've been telling every new killer player to just quit now, the problems they're having will literally only get worse

Why post the games then if they basically gave you a free win?
Because this other guy posted games that for all we know went the same way using power addons as if that was some kind of definitive argument. They didn't purposely die but weren't great at looping and played too boldly for their skill level

Ruin bought people more time to camp and tunnel thats a fact. Whether it was 30 seconds or 5 minutes it was extra time the killer could use to camp/tunnel a survivor. Many players took advantage of this. Say what you want about WHY Ruin worked bad survivors etc but the fact is it did work. It did slow buy the killer more time.
I’ve been playing solo and seeing plenty of killers winning games. The average survivor just isn’t that good.
Lol that's absurd

So snap out of it is bad now...have you ever considered looking at literally everything else he has? His power is even better in chases now. The lack of a mode switch makes it feel smooth and intuitive, and you can easily bait dead hard etc. His AoE is really effective at finding survivors. Sure the snap out of it is worse (I doubt you're losing games because survivors can snap out of it easier) but does it really matter that much when you have so much more to work with in chases now? I find Doctor really fun to play now, the old Doc was awful. Switching modes all the time was just stupid, the new Doc feels a lot more up-to-date with other killers.
It makes me wonder why bother with the rest of the power, the screaming is it's only utility now, and it doesn't stun them from dropping pallets for a couple seconds anymore. Feels worse in chase to me though they at least upped the strike zone on therapy

He could be someone who gives ppl the thumbs up report. I do that at times.
If they weren't jerks to play I usually give them an upvote. Not when they tb at every pallet so they can flashlight me though

They basically killed themselves in both games I posted in a way that would've happened with any other killer, madess tiers being lousy and ineffective now is the point

Yes, please keep posting screenshots of 4K's about how weak the Doc is. It truly says a lot.

-
It was slightly better with addons, though again their commitment to trying to punk me with flashlights and fireworks cost them. If they just did gens instead of try to troll. Also it seems like the sound is still messed up, the ones with calm spirit didn't have footstep or injured noises

and I don't play doctor ever but somehow I can just sit back and 3K/4K, must be you honestly if you're such a veteran doc you should be a god with the new one. and look, I'm even using addons that affect tier 3 so they're basically useless, right?
"Look what I can do with his best addons! All other arguments are invalid!" I bet you thought that climate denier's "Here's a snowball" argument was bulletproof
-
His power feels so weak now, they were trolling and screwing around most of the match, and gens were pretty much instant. All 3 hooks because they just couldn't help trying to attack me with flashlights. And no addons. Shocking to block interactions does NOT work anymore btw, so the stun blast tactic is gone. Everything just feels worse. There's no way the low ranks were actually low rank either, they were better at chase than the red guys
-
Let's see, doc was my original main and I could play him without ruin in red ranks, suddenly he sucks after they f u all the things that made his power good, hmmm

I could've maybe lived with it if there wasn't the perfect safety of madness 1 so easily available, there's no point to most of the afflictions now and no exhaustion hurts a ton, I thought these were things everyone agreed was too much of a nerf, but hey who cares about people that LIKE these characters or playing killer right

If you are about to get a panic attack because of a video game, I would advise you take a break at the very least from the game that is about to give you a panic attack. It's not healthy in the slightest to take a game so serious. It's just a video game in the end.
It's from everyone telling me I'm "bad/garbage" because I think something is a poor idea

I think they're both cool but I think I really like the scarecrow one so much better because it completely changes the color scheme of Ghostface. Typically, like in the cosmetics we've already received, the mask changes color but the shroud / cloak for the most part stays the same, completely black or mostly black.
With the Scarecrow one the scheme completely changes to brown, and a lighter tan color for the hood / mask. With a rope tied around the waist rather than a sash, I could imagine a movie scene where ghostface stays perfectly still like a scarecrow in a farm setting as a character nervously approaches from behind, and he whips around revealing the classically terrifying mask, and stabs them. Too bad this never showed up in the movies
But maybe in Dead By Daylight? Please?
Hotness, great horror setpiece

People who are banned or jailed is due to breaking the rules - you do not have the right to threaten and harass the developers (or the community).
But sadly, from what I've seen, many killer players on this forum would prefer to harass and threaten people.
If they think they are allowed to do what they think is okay; then it would be only fair if someone were to do the same thing to them as well.
Disagree/ tell the truth about== "Harass"

Almo sometimes responds to threads like these, they just responded to a thread about the Hatch mechanic.
I'm also a very straight-forward person, that doesn't sugar coat things. I have yet to get banned/jailed for voicing my opinions. I don't think the Moderators have any intention of silencing people for just voicing their opinion - I believe they most likely had a good reason to Jail or Ban a person for something they said in a thread, otherwise it could have very well just been a misunderstanding.
I have a firm belief that the developers of the game care a lot about their player base as well, and are doing their best to try and create the best game play for all their players not just new players. Heck look at the out of the blue Freddy nerfs where they nerfed his add ons to make them entirely un-usuable, just because players were not having fun - even in high ranks. I've seen Developers following some streamers, being active with the community, and genuinely caring about this game like it's their baby.
At the same time, they need to make money, so catering the new player base is important to ensure an income so they even can keep working on this game.
Almo and Peanits respond only to mock killer players in roundabout ways and undermine our confidence in new changes ever being good for killers, like that thread where an unironic "Losing and getting trolled as killer is fun!" post got resounding praise and full agreement from Peanits
-
In most cases they wait on top of the hatch until you can see them jump in. Put the grab back in so they have more incentive to leave right when they find it instead of sticking around to tb the killer
-
Not bait at all, I'm dead serious that's how almost all of these crap survivor posts read

So for whatever reason, shortly after the Ruin nerf was announced, the talk about a nerf to Hillbilly really picked up on these forums. I get that this has always been brought up at occasions, but at the moment I see a lot more posts regarding this topic.
And I'm personally a bit confused about this. Ruin has just been nerfed, which was arguably the only effective way to slow down the early game. And many people have been pretty upset about these changes. I personally don't mind the nerf that much, but I can understand those that are unhappy with this nerf.
So it just seems like a weird timing to now demand a nerf to Hillbilly. Many killers are already unhappy, why would you want to nerf another killer now? This will only increase the likelihood of people not wanting to play killer anymore. And we definitely don't need survivor queue times to increase more.
Also, I would recommend everyone to wait and see how Billy is without Ruin. I could definitely see how Billy was overpowered with Ruin, but without it, I personally think he's one of the most balanced killers in the game.
I'm not even totally against a nerf to Billy. I could see a small nerf being reasonable. But not now, not after Ruin has been nerfed. I might be a killer main, but I do enjoy playing survivor as well and I don't want to have to spend ages in queues before finally finding a match.
What I believe this game now needs, are buffs to weaker killers, and map reworks. In my opinion, all killers should at least have a similar power level to Hillbilly or Freddy. As long as gens can be repaired as fast as they currently can. Of course the exact power level a killer should have depends on how balanced the reworked maps become. Because once, or if maps are properly reworked, having their size reduced and having many more mindgameable pallets and many less safe pallets, then I think the most powerful killers like Hillbilly or Freddy will need some small nerfs. Nothing big, but some small nerfs to bring them in line with the reworked maps.
I think for me, the perfect balance for maps would be something in between the balance level of Badham maps and the balance level of Hawkins. Probably a bit closer to the balance level of Badham maps.
Personally, I would also love to see some maps keeping the size they have, and instead receiving a small second objective. Balancing the maps in different ways would add more variety to the game. Which I think would definitely be good.
So to recap, what I think devs need to do now is to rework maps and buff weaker killers before nerfing the next killer. And during that process, they could then also nerf the really strong killers like Hillbilly in some patches just a bit as well. The amount of buffs weaker killers need will be dependent on how balanced the reworked maps become. The better the maps become for killer, the less buffs weaker killers will need. So it's important to find the sweet spot between killer buffs and map balance. But I do think this needs to be the main focus for the devs now, and while they are at it, depending on how balanced maps become, the devs can then nerf the most powerful killers in this game accordingly to the map balance. Of course though, this wouldn't be easy, and no one should expect every change in this scenario to work out perfectly. But balancing this game simply isn't easy, never has been.
They've gotten their way in practically everything, the bug that made balanced landing enable infinites got fixed and they lost their minds like it was some attack on them while they've been handed everything they asked for since October. If something's slightly hard for them to deal with they ask for a nerf and they've gotten it shortly after. They're trying to take away everything that makes a killer able to beat decent survivor teams and are wildly successful, so they're going to keep asking until they stop getting coddled. Read their posts and replies, they literally just hate us and want to easily escape in every match
-
If killers disagree with nerfs they're "trash booted by the ruin crutch" and targeted with severe abuse but it's dev encouraged and endorsed for survivors to beg for more killer nerfs. Killers are "whining" if it bothers us while anything is free and fair game for survivors to compain about. I'm getting so sick and stressed out by it I'm minutes from a panic attack
-
If plague and clown could corrode gen progress by hitting one with their powers it'd help a lot. Otherwiss maybe a seriousc buff to thed bottles that makes it so the gas is much more crippling

“try comforting babies who will quit your game with the next call of duty release anyway”
Why is everything being framed in this way? Why are people giving their 2 cents on balance always being referred to as babies and told to “git gud”.
Its getting pretty toxic. Everyone is entitled to give their opinions. The best thing you could do is give your arguments as to why whatever they’re complaining about is balanced, rather than trying to shoot down the argument and never give reasons why.
Maybe that's because that's the reasoning crying survivors are using when you examine their perspective?
-
Leatherface has the most satisfying mori and the main reason I got the game back when he was announced. Wish he'd get buffed but at least nemesis and PWYF make him passable again. Freddy, Myers, Ghostface and Pig are great too. I'm here for the horror element, which is why the bad balance freaks me out so much

DL gets up to 9 stacks.
Each stack gives survivors 3% penalty to Repair, Healing and Sabotage
3X9= 27%
But yeah "DL does nothing"
You do know it it doesn't affect the obsession and shuts off if the obsession dies right? At 9 stacks only the obsession is left if the perk is still on so it's actually doing 0%

Past green ranks I play mostly nothing but toxic survivors, so it's very hard not to be totally cynical

I think the Nurse is fine, and fun to play against (provided they don't proxy camp every single hook), since I've only faced 2-3 Nurses, ever, that were godskilled.
I don't think Hillbilly is balanced because he takes no effort or skill to utilize effectively.
I think Hag is balanced because of her setup time and reduced movement speed, and her power has clear limits, drawbacks, and counters.
Comparatively, I think the Trapper is as well (even though I have magnetic ankles), since it follows along the same rules. (I still think Bloody Coil is stupid, though.)
Pig remains my favorite killer from a design perspective, since she was designed not to tunnel, and her power has a baseline effectiveness and requires no intervention on Pig's part to have that function.
Myers has a build up to a powerful payoff, and is pretty cool in general just popping up on people. I like the idea of his design as a result.
I feel like Leatherface is dull and needs a rework, so that he doesn't end up being like Myers.
"Strong killer bad, weakened killers good"
