So I just heard about this and it's extremely confusing, why the sudden lockdown on devs? Talking with them about the game has been fine for years and went a long way towards bolstering community goodwill and trust. It's the reason I didn't get literal panic attacks from the patch announcement because I could hear explanations of why some things were done and be put at ease. Does it matter how many tier 3 perks we have on a prestige 3 character for whatever the reward is? For example I have all 97 tier 3 perks on prestiege 3 leatherface and only 80 t3 perks on p3 Sadako. What if you could exchange common addons or offerings for the retired common map offerings in game somehow? Keep the exchange limited to common and uncommon rarities to keep it from being abused. The new level on the rift has 13 survivor challanges versus 8 for killer, make it even on the next rift so there's at least not practically twice as many survivor challenges versus killer, I hate this layout and design philosophy soooooo much. Has anybody seen Night of the Hunter (1955)? The killer is this preacher who marries widows and kills them for their money, his weapon is a switchblade and he's pretty merciless. He has this wholesome facade that fools everyone and in the movie he even has a terror radius of sorts, he calmly sings hymns while stalking his victims and that could be a really creepy lullaby/freddy song effect. Exactly like I thought they ignored all feedback about how bad snap out of it was from both sides and made using his power a straightup punishment. Also it looks like some addons only work in madness 3, which can be easily popped out of so there's no point, it shuts down all your afflictions. So DbD is BHVR'S main source of income right? The ruin changes are bad enough that it's going to drive a huge number of people away from the game and severely compromise the playerbase. Isn't it therefore fiscally irresponsible to go through with a change that could potentially cripple the company's main income? So a lot of the changes they keep mentioning new players and it just came out on switch, is it possible that that's where all of the bad data is coming from? I just started Survivor yesterday, which master challenges are easier to do at low ranks(like rank 17/18)? I've knocked a few of them out already, my whole survivor experience time has been about 6 hours. I was going after some of the tougher ones since you can get away with more mistakes against newer killers. After playing some more games with the nurse I'm wondering if the changes were meant to keep people from learning to use her and chase off a lot of the old veterans to push down her numbers.
