  • Trapper, imo, needs a buff more than anyone. Needed it for a long time. His early game is just complete RIP if he faces good survivors without right perks and addons for multiple traps. Especially on big maps. Especially with the Object guy, who knows where all your traps are.

Wraith would be my second choice. He is a monster with addons, but without them - he is nothing. He doesn't really need a game changing buff or anything like that, but upgrading his basekit and maybe working a little bit on some of his addons would be nice.

Clown would be my third choice. I like this dude and I always play him with all-empty build. But objectively he is pretty low-tier. After that I would choose Pig for addon rework, because she desperately needs one.

Legion is my main killer and I don't really feel like they are the ones who need a buff the most. They're weaker than many others, but right now they are in a pretty ok spot imo, not the weakest at all and definitely have good sides. Plus they can play just fine without any addons, unlike Wraith and Trapper.

  • Because they are revealed to everyone before the match starts - I don't see much point in them.

Killer will know where to go once hatch spawns. Survivors will know where not to go to avoid basement.

So you're telling me he drives illegally?

Damn, is there any crime he won't commit!? 🤨

I mean... the joke isn't that funny and not very appropriate, really. You know what I mean, it isn't about driving, it's about rights to franchise and characters. The Creeper is a neat character, guy who owns him is nowhere near "neat" - even quite the opposite.

And if we take your question seriously - original Freddy didn't... steal, I guess? other than that he was a very brutal murderer since his teen years, starting with animals and his stepfather, finishing with his own wife and many-many little girls from Springwood. Remake Freddy is just a sadistic pedo who god knows why was chosen by the Dream Demons... yeah, that's stupid.

  • That's different. Freddy is a character, not a license holder.

  • Console killers do have different hitboxes. They glitch on my screen, teleport and hit me somehow while being 5 meters away. And I'm not even exaggerating - it literally happens every time I face a console killer (and I had around 10 of them already). PC killers have that only when they have bad connection. Console killers have it always. It's called "poor optimization".

  • Playing against console-killers is legit so annoying. Their hitboxes are more stupid than Anna's hixboxes on PC. It's like they don't even reach you physically and yet get a free hit, when you are kilometers away.

  • So you are saying that if I'm the only survivor and hatch is closed - I shouldn't be able to escape anymore?

  • It's not a bug. Head On does not work if you have crows on you, it's a feature.

  • Seems like a waste of shards to me, really. It's way better to spend them on skins or save up for BP on PTB and/or new Chapter.

2000 shards is at the very least seven hours of gameplay. During this time I can grind 1mil BP (most likely even more) and get most of the perks I would need, even though useless ones might come up in bloodweb too. Then again, even perks that are useless now might become viable in the future or in some specific builds, so it's never a bad thing to have all the perks on your characters.

  • "Genrush" is doing nothing but repairing generator. "Genrush" is ignoring your hooked and slugged teammates just to finish that juicy gen. "Genrush" is a scummy strategy on the level of tunneling. But most people don't use this term in this meaning, most people mix it up with survivors efficiently doing their objective.

Although doing something like increasing the timer might work for SWF (because everyone knows where everyone is, everyone knows what everyone does, not a single second is wasted), in solo queue it would become a nightmare. Would you personally want to waste almost 2 minutes of your time on a single gen, when you play alone and there's no one to help you?

  • I never got depip after escaping or getting 4k. Don't know which option to choose, because I did get lots of depips, after being tunneled/camped, Moried off first hook and just being worse than my opponent. Don't really care about ranks, though, so depiping is not a big deal for me.

And fixing rank system won't prevent you from getting people who facecamp and DC. It's players' choices, not BHVR's fault.

  • Kate is the best girl.

Cheryl and Steve are my favourite licensed survivors.

If David Tapp someday gets Adam's legendary skin - he'll be my favourite.

  • Professional of being the first target of the killer. Master of being Moried off hook. Adept of being facecamped. Dying Expert.

I've just nerfed it. Reload the page, dude. I increased the cooldown.

Um. You can still do what I said, simpy wait a bit. Cooldown doesn't downgrade the fact that the effect itself is broken.

Even if it has some crazy cooldown, like 666 seconds or even if you can use it only once. You still get a free instakill and survivors can't do much about it. With Corrupt Intervention it's the best reason to DC, because what's the point? Against at least average killer, 3 survivors will never finish 5 gens. And it's bad for killer side too, because you'll get less bloodpoints that way.

  • So basically, with Pyramid Head you'll be able to instamori survivors off-hook without even bringing an Ebony Mori offering.

    Sounds pretty broken to me.

  • There is no option "Nurse is fine, but a good player can play her as if she was OP". So I chose this.

Nurse is the second most powerful killer in the game, after Spirit. Her basekit was nerfed into oblivion, so in this state, if you are average, she is only somewhat viable against potatoes. But in right hands, with Infectious and Deer Stalker and with addons for cooldown reduction she is able to kill the whole squad in few seconds. Having a match against strong Nurse-main already means that you have lost. No matter how good you are at looping or evading her hits. As someone once said: bad Nurse can be outplayed by anyone, good Nurse can be outplayed only by good players, but no one can outplay the God Nurse.

Then again, the God Nurse is pretty much able to kill everyone even without any perks or addons.

P.S. I get the joke, but why would you make it if she is an original character, who was inspired by Silent Hill's nurses only a little tiny bit?

  • Because we still don't have female characters from Silent Hill 2 and Maria is basically a huge antagonist of this game. Angela, on the other hand, does not play a role of a "bad guy" in this game and is a pretty tragic character, which would fit a lot.

    Без имени.png

But who I actually really want to see is Cybil. She played a big role in the first part and is a pretty likeable character.

  • If map is bright and there are no scratch mark and survivor has Iron Will - I will probably make use of blood.

If survivor is on the ground and I can't hear them, but can see their blood trail - I will probably make use of blood.

In all the other situations - no. Sounds, scratch marks and surroundings are way more useful.

  • There are of lot of unmentioned characters, who I love incredibly, but I don't think that they will be the choice, if RE Chapter comes in play. Like Hunk, Ada Wong, Albert Wesker, Sherry Birkin, Barry Burton, Rebecca Chambers, Sheva Alomar, Carlos Oliveira, Luis Sera and many others. Everyone, who was listed in previous sentence is either too powerful for DbD or just not iconic enough for the series, not "the faces" of RE.

Ethan is a comparatively a new character, nowhere near iconic or extremely important to the series (like all previous licenses were). And though, if BHVR makes this deal somewhere during 2020-2021, he might be an actual choice (because of being the main character of the upcoming Resident Evil: Village), I bet, not many people would've liked that, so it's unlikely.

Chris holds the record of appearances in the series (8 in total), but not a lot of people associate him with series as "the goat" somewhy. Same with his sister, Claire, who is also, unfortunately, not the most recognizable face among non-fans of Resident Evil. Which brings me to last two options: Jill Valentine and Leon Kennedy. Two Capcom's favourite RE-babies, I would say. Jill has been gaining a lot of popularity lately, along with the controversial release of RE3 Remake (you know, nice graphics, nice content, but amounts of this content are completely not on the part with the price) and always has been a character, who got nothing but love from the most of the community. Leon, at the same time, was re-introduced to us in RE2 Remake - cool, sexy and badass as always, albeit still a bit naive. Leon was the main character of the universally most praised game in the series - resident evil 4. Leon was the only character, who appeared in all RE animated movies. Leon is the only male character, whose looks never ever got bad or even meh, from installment to installment.

I chose Leon because, unlike Jill, he makes my top-3 characters, along with Ada and Wesker. And also because Jill is already a part of RE: Resistance, which could mean one of two things: 1) Capcom already cemented her as a character from their own asymmetrical game and won't be eager to give her to other game with same concept; 2) Capcom decided that Jill is the most important character of theirs at the moment and if asked for a license, would put her as a number one option for the survivor.

Which character would most likely be chosen to be a DbD survivor? Either Jill or Leon.

Which character would I want to be chosen as a DbD survivor? Ada, Leon and Rebecca.

  • Deafening Hag is by far the scariest thing that happened to me. Somewhere beside Pig with A Nurse's Calling.

  • I would say Pop. One of the most consistently reliable builds on Oni is B&C, PGTW, M&A and Infectious Fright.

  • But... new killer's perks aren't OP at all. One of them is situationally-good, one of them needs other perks to be actually useful, and the last one is blatantly bad against good survivors. Two of the new survivor's perks are pretty good too, I can see myself using those in some builds and having a lot of benefit out of them. New killer himself isn't super-good too. So what are you complaining about exactly? Soul Guard and For the People from previous Chapters are pretty strong perks, when used right. While all 6 perks of previous two killers are either merely ok or just bad and literally useless.

  • Hallo!

  • I mean, we still have Nurse, Legion Gang, Oni and Deathslinger, who are still not injected. Sir Grimes might need some more test subjects.

  • Outlast is actually kinda similar to the Doctor's lore with all the experiments, mental institutions and secret "mk-ultra-ish" organizations. And because of that I kinda doubt they will even bring this to light. But because this game terrified me so much during my first walkthrough and because I love it so much, I would appreciate having Outlast Chapter in DbD.

I would probably prefer Richard Trager as a killer. Killer name could be The Surgeon or something like that. It would be nice if he had some voice lines, which he would say either while being in a chase (and after leaving survivor) or while being out of chase, but having somone in his terror radius (kinda like basekit-Whispers). Other options might include Chris Walker (The Guard) or Eddie Gluskin (The Groom). First one is sort of the "face" of the first part, and the second one is definitely the most notable character from Whistleblower. It also could be Walrider (The Swarm, or simply The Walrider), but I don't think it would do much justice to this character as it can't be seen with human eyes (then again, Pyramid Head also originally could've been seen only by James Sunderland and no one else). If we are talking the second part, the only viable option seems to be Marta (The Worshiper? The Cultist? The Devotee?).

As for the survivor - it could be either Miles or Waylon or even Blake. The best decision, though, would be probably to take Miles (as he is the protagonist of a more iconic first part) and bring Waylon and Blake as legendary skins, because they are mostly the same, except that Blake has at least some personality.

Map is kinda tricky, because we already have Asylum and Corn Field, but the most logical variant (hehe) would probably be a mix of locations from the first part, I guess.

  • Update: Looks like it's more of a one-time glitchy thingy. Haven't happened to me after that.

  • I mean. The beamer's lightray doesn't change. The only way you know you got it - BP progress icon.

  • I gives a lot of information, actually. You know, where everyone is. You know if killer is facecamping. You know in which direction killer went after hooking a survivor. if a hooked guy has it - everyone knows where everyone is. So, no, making it a base kit would be too broken of a buff.

Dawg straight up you one of those people who's cool with Oni and Demo but for some weird reason think Pyramid Head is overpowered. Bruh PH is UNDERPOWERED to some people. Jeez. <3

Wow, making assumptions about me basing on nothing. That's rude. Try to learn some manners, my dude.

Pyramid Head is not overpowered. He is hard to learn, but in right hands, similar to Nurse, he is incredibly strong. He can counter DS, Deliverance, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable - any Meta-perk, you name it. He is very powerful in chases, like Spirit and Nurse, and if he doesn't make mistakes it's going to be very problematic for survivor to get out of the chase alive. He has a very good anti-looping technique and has a great potential in mindgames. He could be "underpowered" only to those, who don't know how play him - just like literally every other killer is.

Oni is an objectively very strong killer, albeit not as strong as good Spirits, Nurses and Hags. He has wonderful addons, he can traverse map and pressure map a lot. Skillful Oni is a speedy nightmare, much scarier than the present Billy. Demo, on the other hand, is pretty average. His addons are not great; his power is not weak, but also not that strong. Shred might help in loops, but at some tiles and maps on the whole it's pretty useless. He is fine at most things and fun to play, but he isn't great at anything in particular.

Mikey is a good killer, don't get me wrong, but he is neither S nor A tier realistically. He is complete dogsh*t in early game and a lot of times it can be crucial. If you don't manage to find oblivious survivor, who you can feed off fast, you'll feel very bad very quickly. His map control is blatantly bad - he starts off slow and by the time he gets to the normal speed he might already lose 1-2 gens. His snowball potential, on the other hand, is quite nice and can be avoided only by good survivors. In Tier-3 he is stronger, but still can be looped successfully until his power runs out. In open maps he is bad, because of how visible he is. But in closed maps he's quite good. His addons are one of the best in the game, but without them he is mostly basic M1 killer with no benefits.

Spoken like a true Killer main! I assume you think Spirit isn't nearly as overpowered as she actually freaking is. Lol. How the hectuck does his T3 literally last INFINITELY? Even in the movies that crap ran out fast!

You know that Mikey is one of the worse-ones killers, who haven't gotten to B-tier in a really long time, right?

Heels would take a LOT of work to implent. They'd have to change the standing model and height of each character they give heels.

I don't see it happening. Sorry mate.

I mean.. Kate already has heels on her mountaineer skin. So heels themselves, at least low ones, are not a problem.

But if we are talking specifically high heels... implementing those would be incredibly stupid, yes. Some people can't even walk comfortably with them, running and crouching with high heels for long is literally impossible. It would probably look very wrong.

  • Sadly, I don't have anything fancy, because I rarely spend money on skins (esp. AC ones), and I don't have anything on licensed characters (though I really wanna get something for Amanda, Nancy, Steve and Ghost Face), but here are some original characters, whose looks I like:

    20200815142246_1.jpg

  • I'm not a big addon user. Usually I use those either for the memes or to increase basic killer's power. Sloppy Butcher, on the other hand, is the perk I use, when I want to play an anti-healing build.

  • Deathslinger is better at zoning and eliminating pallets. Huntress is better at capitalizing on her sexy shots.

Every hit with a hatchet is a hit. Not every hit with harpoon is a hit.

Edit: Also, even good Deathslinger might struggle a lot with map pressure, he can't shoot someone who is out of gun's range and is slower than basic killers. While good Huntress, despite being slower than basic killers too, can secure gens with successful throws, while being on the very other side of the map.

  • @ABannedCat said:

As much as I would love to see that, I don't think it would really fit into the game.

I mean, Xenomorph is probably one of the most deadly creatures you could ever think about. Unless you have a flamethrower, you are dead the moment it charges towards you. Pallet looping and stunning it just feels wrong.

I mean, Freddy is a Dream Demon and you still pallet loop and stun him. Doesn't feel right either. But gameplay-wise makes sense.

Lore-wise, Entity will most likely weaken Xenomorph (just like Freddy), to make feeding process last longer, so it won't be able to kill that easy.

  • But only visually. The amount of easter eggs is impressive, map itself looks like a perfect remaster of original Midwich from the first Silent Hill. Very beautiful, atmospheric and truthful to the original. By looks it is the very best map in this game so far.

Gameplay-wise, though, it is one of the sh*ttiest maps in the game. Especially for the killer. Patrolling and pressuring gens is impossible. Breakable walls and dead-end rooms are annoying. For the amount of time you waste on patrolling gens you can lose 2-3 of them in different spots. And unless you are a Ghostface or Wraith you can pretty much DC if there are Objects of Obsession, because this perk is completely broken on Midwich. The only killer, which is universally good on this map all-the-way is probably the Hag. Also, as a survivor - most of the pallets are not that safe and it's kinda hard to find gens sometimes, which also could be really annoying. Still, I somehow get genrushed on Midwich half of the time.

  • Emm. Freddy. I just prefer to play Freddy, if I have this goal in mind.

  • @Zozzy said:

The disparity between killer and survivor adepts is laughable.

Killer: have the most perfect game of your life where you 3 hook everyone with 3 to 5 gens left and perfect chases.

Survivor: walk out the door derp....

Why don't survs need to get full iridescent emblems and have 3 people survive to be fair and equal to the effort put in by killer?

You can't compare those two. Survivor heavily relies on his team. Killer IS his own team. Killer can't make mistakes, because no one can cover him and make the situation better. While one mistake by one survivor may cause all other 3 to die even if they themselves did nothing wrong.

Survivor can't disable killer for long, while killer can cause survivor to perish in mere minutes (or if this is camping/tunneling situation w/o DS - even seconds). And you wouldn't even be able to use any actually useful perks if you were, for example, Quentin or Tapp or Ash or Steve or Ace or anyone else who has either useless or simply weak perks. This makes double pip on survivor almost impossible to get, when making an Adept. While killer simply needs 1-2 weak-ish survivors, no disconnects and understanding of his own power.

Problem is - on high ranks weak survivors appear very rarely (unless you yourself are playing survivor lol). But they do appear. For example, I play Nurse like a complete idiot and still - I got her Adept, when I was rank 6 with 3 red ranks in lobby.

    @cosmicvolts said:

i have been trying to get trapper and wraith adept for days now and literally cant i dont have the patience to depip either smh

But I do understand you. I was struggling a lot to get Plague's and Oni's adept achievements, when I still was on red ranks. With Plague I managed to make an achievement by using pools frequently and bringing her "wall-hackish" ultrarare addons with green apple. With Oni I managed to get it by simply having one bad survivor in the lobby. Try mixing up some addons, which you feel like would help you a lot. Secure your kills, try using your power as much as possible. Maybe check out some Trapper-mains' vids to know perfect spots for his traps. You can half-camp with Wraith to get more pressure by getting second person hooked, when he doesn't expect being grabbed or hit.

Keep in mind that you HAVE TO get at least 9-10 hooks, this condition screwed up me big time in Hag's Adept - I was either getting almost no hooks or all four killed themselves on the first/second hook. Having all the gens done and having one survivor escape is not crucial - I got my Legion Adept with only 3 kills, no gens left and one open gate. But I got all 4 survivors to their death hook and used my power efficiently, even though it was my very first game as Legion %))

  • @bendermac said:

The Entity says: KIll by any means ... That's exactly what I do. Doesn't say it has to be fun for them 😅

She can be displeased even if all 4 survivors died. So no, she doesn't say that sh*t. She says you need to hook every survivor 3 times, so that she can feed off them as much as possible. She doesn't encourage slugging, facecamping and early Moriing.
