I main Legion, because they are the most fun to play as for me personally. I bought them in the mid-Spring this year and ever since them was very comfortable with playing as them. They are still the only killer on whom I got an Adept achievement on the very first game. I like the idea of these characters, like their lore, like their skins. The information on the survivors' location, which you get from their power, is pretty useful, plus they got some cool perks (Discordance is universally useful, Mad Grit is very fun with Agitation/Iron Grasp combo, Iron Maiden is neat on Huntress). But that's it, yeah. I just like them and I am the most comfortable with playing them. That's why I main them. That's why probably most people main a certain character.
I main Kate, because, well, she's an ultimate waifu.
------------
also...
"Second-In-Command" Killers: Trapper, Freddy, Bubba, Spirit, Demogorgon.
"Second-In-Command" Survivors: Nancy, Dwight, Feng, Meg, Steve.
-
"stayed", not "staid"
-
Her addons kinda need rework. Most of them, especially rare-ones, are very meh.
It would also be nice if traps did something more, than just wasting single survivor's time for a few dozen of seconds.
Tier lists are very subjective, so I wouldn't recommend relying on them, but if you ask me I'd put her in mid-D tier, probably. Low C-tier tops.
She's cute and interesting, but mostly weak.
-
I mean, I might bring Franklin's if there are literally 3-4 keys, but I usually couldn't care less about their items.
-
I mean, does every survivor think that it's worth their time breaking through encrypted logs?
Some of them are cheating, some of them are just lucky guessing (or simply running those perks constantly just in case). I, for example, didn't even knew that this log-file stuff was a thing before I read this topic. And it's not like every person knows how to do this sh*t. I don't know if this is something to be blamed on devs. Cheeky dumdums, who always need a way to cheat in order to have a chance, will be in this game no matter what (just like in any other multiplayer videogame btw).
-
Well, Steam system counts every person, who owns the game and launched it at least once (as far as I know). So, it doesn't mean that other 90,3% are actually playing the game, a lot of them left it either recently or long ago. Moreover Prestige doesn't give you that much. If there wasn't an achievement for that, I probably would never even start prestiging my characters.
-
I mean, I play only perkless Clown and I like him.
-
I mean, have you seen those charms and skins for Meg, Wraith and Hag? Hell yeah!
-
I feel like old addonless Billy was great balancewise. If you are a bad Billy and go against pretty good survivors you'll get wrecked. If you are a good Billy and go against any kind of survivors, you have a good chance to wreck them. The problem was in insta-saw, which was literally permanent one-shot for the whole game - at least 10m of deadzone and BAM you're dead. No skill needed, just don't be braindead and don't bump into objects.
So change in addons is ok (would've been nice if there weren't any useless addons, though). Cooldown is nice on paper, but it wasn't necessary at all, really.
-
I mean, yeah, OG three killers - Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly - might use a new Mori-animation. Old ones are very basic and uninteresting, compared to others.
And if they somehow manage to make major parts of survivor's bodies disappear/change in real-time, I'd really prefer heads going off in Demo's Mori and an iconic Mori for Pyramid Head from the first movie, where he takes girl's skin off like it's nothing.
-
I mean, the whole skeleton-design is kinda cool in itself. Problem is - people can't see sh*t because of how blurry and dull these auras are. If they manage to make them as bright and saturated as they were, making them as visible as before, than I'm ok with keeping new design.
On the other hand, if it is impossible to make such change then, yeah - revert them back to old ones, please. Game is literally unplayable for many and it's not even a meme.
-
Right now? Auras. New ones are horrible.
Other than that, both keys and iri mori are a very big problem. I basically voted for key only because there are two problematic keys in the game (purple and iri), while problematic mori is only one (iri). Also, there is already a vote for iri mori, so I thought why not make these options equal. Both keys and iri mori break the game horrendously and they should either be reworked or eliminated from the game.
Decisive Strike is little bit below that. I only think they need to rework it so that survivors can't use it in case they are not being tunnelled in a slightest. Because situations, where a guy hits you with DS although you already hooked one or two other guys before that, is just mean and unfair to killer who did nothing wrong.
-
Nurse is actually pretty rare too.
-
I feel like out of all these Demogorgon, Pig and Hag would be top-3 killers that I very rarely go against.
Still, I've seen more Pigs than Demos. And I'm more than positive on the fact that there will be way more Hags once Conviction Tome is out.
-
As a killer it mostly annihilates any use of aura-based perks, if survivor is far away. It's also way harder to see gens.
As a survivor, I sometimes can't see auras of downed and hooked survivors, which in some situations might be crucial, including the fact that 99% of the time I play solo.
That's just bad from the both sides, period. Moreover there was literally no reason to do it.
-
It's not a bug. It's a new auras look. it's very bad, yes. But it's not a bug.
And it goes both ways - auras have changed not only for killers, but survivors too.
-
I don't think it was necessary, but I can see why they probably did it.
I feel like Billy-mains will be fine and still be able to get crazy curves and 4k's (just like Nurse-mains after the change). On the other hand noob Billy players will have problems with bloodlusting and camping with full-loaded chainsaw.
Overall I'm completely ok with this change, but, again, I don't think it was necessary.
-
Good doesn't mean OP. It can be easily countered by being in killer's terror radius, hiding in a locker or having Distortion on.
And most people, including me, only use it for BP bonus and dont care that much about auras anyways.
-
Piggy is wonderful. But I suck ass as Wraith.
-
Overall - Legion. Although lots of people call Legion bad words, i have the most fun playing them. So I main Legion.
For the strength and trial-domination - I feel like Freddy is my only S-tier (Spireh and Nurse are better objectively, but I personally am not crazy good at Spirit and am very bad at Nurse, so they are not S for me).
For the default look - Oni, because I really like all the japanese mythology and samurai shenanigans.
For the skins - Doctor is GOD. But Piggy has great ones also.
For the cuteness - Piggy. That's the cutest f-ing thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
For the concept - Plague. The whole idea of bringing someone from such an ancient era is very interesting.
For the bio - Caleb Quinn, better known as the Deathslinger. It's just simply badass.
For the Mori - Ghostface and I don't care what anyone else has to say about it.
For the license - Pyramid Head. I mean, I really love Saw and Stranger Things franchises. But I waited for Silent Hill content FOR SO LONG.
Out of all the OG killers - Trapper is my big boi.

Lol I don't know any of the SH games but I'd like to do them but they're on PS1/PS2 so it's kinda hard to find them legit :/
I feel like you can still find Silent Hill 3 on PC and maybe even Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 4 (because they were officially ported but sadly aren't sold on any platforms like Steam, GOG, Origin etc.) somewhere on torrents probably. Also Silent Hill: Homecoming is selling on Steam (or at least was selling) so you can definitely find it in some steam-key stores.
-
I call her Heather, because it's her name most of the third game. But timelinewise it's more appropriate to call her Cheryl because of the Silent Hill 3 finale.
-
There is this addon, called Prayer Beads Bracelet. With it, every time you phase each survivor will hear whooshing sound as if you are approaching them, even if you are not. This opens the possibility of fooling them, as once they understand that you have this addon, they won't know anymore if you are coming to them or not (unless they see your husk nearby). This leaves them wondering most of the time and some of them will definitely start to ignore the sound, leading to possibility of catching them off guard.
-
First, like, 100 hours it's absolutely amazing in every aspect. After that, dunno, it's like you already see all the flaws, but the game still sticks with you and you just play it. One hundred hours after the other. I started playing myself at the beginning of 2020 and already have 700+ hours in-game lol
-
I always believed that Frank, Julie, Susie and Joey were abducted by the Entity somewhere in the mid-90s. Because of that, I don't associate them with any modern music (or any music that came out after 1996 for that matter).
I feel like Frank is into such genres as thrash metal and hardcore punk, maybe even something extreme like noise music. Joey strikes me as a Wu-Tang Clan fan and I always thoght of Susie as a fan of The Prodigy and Misfits.
As for Julie... Imo, she likes such bands as Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and Nirvana more than anything. My variation of "Julie's Mix Tape" consists of:
- Radiohead - Creep
- Nine Inch Nails - Hurt
- The Cure - Pictures of You
- Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumours
- Echo & The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon
- Guns N' Roses - November Rain
- Alice in Chains - Nutshell
- Joy Division - Atmosphere
- Nirvana - Something In The Way
- The Doors - The End
-
Well, the Blood Warden, which is Freddy's perk, is now in the Shrine.
I've also seen perks of Ghost Face, Laurie, Tapp, Michael, Steve, Amanda, Ash, Quentin and Nancy there.
I've bought Make Your Choice and Blood Warden, when they were on the Shrine earlier this year.
Although I have all the licensed characters except Ash by now, so I don't really have a need to buy any licensed perks anymore.

1st. no, you're wrong, i didn't talk about teleporting, i talked about how, pyramid head has literally the same power as demo in one perspective, and demo's power of teleporting is cool, but still he needs to down you, pyramid head can just send you to a cage, literally teleporting you, and you can't do no thing about as his cages don't count as hooks, so, stop it
2nd. first of all, he can't teleport and that is just saying 1=1, so stop it, second , PH is still better even if his controls are Shitter.
3rd. You're just playing him and you think he is balanced, you never play survivor, it's in the face. =D are you rank 20 ? lol
4th. stop it =D saying error = mistake, if you think otherwise it's your opinion, and, if it is, you are just trying to get a excuse.
5th. you're stupid if you think it needs more skillchecks, because if you say his cages needs more skillchecks you are just asking to buff him.. and you are very wrong, because he shouldn't be buffed and killers in general should be buffed so, stop it.
Yes i read your responses but you defenetly play against rank 20s
"stop it" is your favourite phrase, ain't it, mate?
Oh my, someone can't see further than his nose, ain't that right? Well, keep it up, boi, keep calling not-so-good killers OP, hoping they will become basically unplayable with nerfs. PH is good only when player, who controls him, is good. And even when he has good player controlling him, he still doesn't get higher than B-rank. If you still think that he is overpowered, well then, I'm not going to convince you otherwise. Facts won't change.
I still don't f-ing know why you keep bringing up those skillchecks, although there's nothing about "cages need more skillchecks" in my responses. Nothing about buffing anything or anyone. But you keep accusing me of stating something that I didn't even mention and after that you claim that you "read my responses". I can't tell if you are trolling or just blatantly lying lmao.
Rank 20? Oh, man, I wish. Although yeah, sometimes I get 20-rank teammates, when playing survivor. Or at least it feels like it.
Good luck and have a great day lol

1st. he runs the same as demogordon
2nd. he has the same power as demo, but better,
3rd. his cages are overpowered, and that's an "Extra feature", So right there, i think he should get a nurf
4th. i think killers need a buff in general, and buffing his cages is a huge error. his cages already don't work as real hooks, so stop.
5th. If it requires more skillchecks, would you agree with having skills checks the hook itself? pls play survivor and stop saying his cages are worse then what you think
1st. Completely wrong. They are two different characters. Pyramid Head can't teleport. Demo can't send people elsewhere. It's like saying that Hag and Huntress run the same lmao.
2nd. As I said, Pyramid Head can't teleport. And Demo's dash is way more controllable than PH's range attack. So although it can't hit through walls or pallets, it still is better on the whole. And it's easier to use, because with PH's attack, if you are out in the open somewhere, you ALWAYS have to predict where the survivor's gonna turn - if anything it's more like Huntress' hatchets or Deathslinger's harpoon than Demo's dash. And it's (PH's attack) still worse than both hatchets and harpoon. Stating otherwise makes me think, once again, that you don't really understand how killers work.
3rd. The fact that you don't like it doesn't make it overpowered.
4th. No one is talking about buffing cages. They are already fine as they are. Also, "error" is something that you get on your computer programs, when they crash. Wrong act or approach is called a "mistake". Learning English wouldn't be a mistake for you. Also, his cages don't work as hooks, yes. Because they are not hooks. And killer doesn't get anything, like Pop or Devour, from it too. So stop pretending like survivors are the only ones who have their perks countered by cages.
5th. I don't think I understand what you are trying to say. Would I want skill-checks on hooks? Yeah, why not, I don't have problem with that - for me skill-checks are better than breaking fingers by spamming one button non-stop.
sigh I play survivor a lot. I've said it before. Directly to you. Do you even read my responses? I played against live version of Pyramid Head 8 times already, I died from him only 2 times, I've got to his cage only once (although I was in his cages many-many times during PTB, so yes, I'm fully aware of how they work from both sides). Is good Pyramid Head player challenging? Yes, a good player is always challenging to play against, even if it's a Clown, Legion or Bubba. Is he overpowered? No, nowhere near it.
-
It was a cosmetic from Tome II Rift. If you didn't get it while this Rift was active, you won't be able to get it anymore, sadly.

1st. you're wrong, he can literally mori you if you are on the last hook, making your ds COMPLETLY USELESS if you are on the ground.
2nd. it can be only 1 killer, but i can't do absolute nothing as running to another loop is literally deadly as i could have literally NONE of distance between me and the killer.
3rd. he is too overpowered, he is a demogordon with extra features, WHAT IS THIS ?
1st. Yes, but before doing that he needs to get your ass tormented and downed. If you have at least one competent teammate, it can be avoided.
2nd. Then learn to play against this killer. Both his torment and his range attack can be dodged.
3rd. If you are calling Pyramid Head and Demogorgon overpowered then you obviously don't know how both the killer and the game work.

Yeah, same. But I found out that you actually can access profiles of all survivors both before and after the match. Just go Options>Match Details after/during the game and click on the needed survivor.
It's just that killer is permanently unavailable...

Every single one of the people who said that his cages are balanced, i think they only play killer, because he is not fun to play agaisnt, a huntress you have a challange, against him you have the challange to be TUNNELED. that's it.
Every pyramid head I got wanted to just, hook me 2 times and literally "mori" me on the 3rd hook, this is unfair, you shouldn't be able to do this, this killer is a literal DEMOGORDON but better and over powered. This is not fun to go against a survivor, because you are going to get tunneled 100%
Wrong. I play survivors even little bit more than killers.
Keep in mind that it's only one killer. Killer, who isn't easy to play as. Killer, whose power is very punishing for him if used wrong.
Also keep in mind, that if killer wants to tunnel you - he will tunnel you no matter if it's Pyramid Head or someone else. And if this killer isn't completely braindead he will easily avoid any BT and DS's. And it's not impossible to avoid PH's torment, for that matter, so you still can spend the whole game without going to gulag. And not every Pyramid Head tends to tunnel and camp on purpose the whole match. At least smart ones don't.

I played him today for the first time in PS4 , im a rank 2 killer and I have destroyed every survivor so far 4 k without noed. Why do you think im posting this? Did you read the post dude?
I did read the post. I'll give you benefit of the doubt and will assume that you didn't go against potato-squads so far as this killer and you actually destroyed each and every non-potato team as PH. Do you really think that the fact that you yourself feel comfortable enough to play this killer means that he should be nerfed, so that others can't play him adequately anymore? That's actually very interesting pov on fairness: "well, Im destroying survs, although many others dont, so nerf-nerf-nerf pls".
And the sentence about Pop can be easily implied to ANY other killer. That's the whole point of the perk - to regress gens more efficiently.
-
Are you serious?
Pyramid Head is fun to play and he is a good killer, yes. But he is nowhere near overpowered.
Missing with his power-attack is extremely punishing. His barbed wire is avoidable just like the Hag's traps and disappears with time. He isn't the easy one to master too. And if player manages to make a 4K with PH it's due to either survivors being complete potatoes or the killer being simply a good killer, who knows how to play. And such killer-players will most likely wreck survivors even with perkless Clown. So it's not an objective observation, it's simple whining, really.
If you aren't serious and this is next-level trolling, then ha-ha i guess...
-
Why post the same topic on different subforums? lol
With different amount of BP too
-
*Borrowed Time, Adrenaline, Resilience, Prove Thyself* - that's is the most frequent one, I guess.
Though I tend to experiment with builds all the time, so mostly they are very different. I also like *Kindred, Urban Evasion* and *Lithe*. *Unbreakable* is nice, but I only used it VERY efficiently once, when I became the last survivor and managed to pick myself up, heal myself with *Self-Care* and open the gates after the Oni close the hatch. I don't like *Dead Hard* because of how unreliable it is from time to time. Laurie is the only character of mine, who is still Level 15, so I don't use her perks.

I think the thing I see with a lot of killer main streamers / yters is that they are going to get a hit on the unhooker a high % of the time. I am completely fine with that, but in solo, it's just brutal af to deal with.
Well, hitting the unhooked one right away is unfair (plus, they could have BT on them, so you'll usually just waste time by doing so). And just waiting there and doing nothing is stupid and inefficient. So yeah, they tend to go after the unhooker. That's one of the reasons why as a survivor it is way better to unhook when you know for a fact that killer isn't near you.
-
The way you talk about it makes me think that you didn't actually watch that much of mentioned streamers.
Agressive camping/tunneling and checking the places where you know for a fact the survivors must be are two different situations. First one is a weak strategy, the second one is simply a smart thing to do. Streamers you mentioned don't tend to avoid fairplay (and if you watched at least one full stream of theirs, you should know that), they just know how the game works and how both sides (survivors and killers) are thinking, so they do the most of this knowledge and select the most viable option at the moment. If they tunnel, then they either need an immediate pressure or the survivor that's being tunneled is running towards them non-stop - they don't tunnel on purpose every match just for the sake of it so they can get easy early kill (well, Scott, Otz, Tru3 and Jaee do not; I don't watch Umbra, so can't say for her, though I'm sure she doesn't do that too).
Also, not a single Hag main puts more than 1-2 traps around the hook, putting "15 traps" is simply a braindead tactic. You can watch Michi, for example, if you want to see an adequate Hag-main plays.
And mowing down two people near the hook is one of the most adequate and smart things you can do as Bubba. Once again, though, streamers you mentioned don't just wait near the hook for the saviour-survivor on purpose to get two people killed. They patrol the perimeter, because they know that wasting time like that will give them nothing but a loss. And if during their patrol they see the process of unhooking in front of them - they turn on the chainsaw, because that's basically a free hit, so why shouldn't they?

Not a fan of Linkin Park or TOP, but the rest of the bands you listed are stellar! I also love Chvrches, system, paramore, greenday, gorillaz, MCR, radiohead, and NIN.
Yay! It's actually so cool to see that MCR are reuniting with big tour this and next year!
Shame that SOAD don't do much new material as a band. The sixth studio album would be more than welcome.

It happens everywhere, bud. Not only here.
Some people don't care. Some people don't notice. Some people check only the first page, so they'll never even see your post, if it's already on the second/third/etc page. Unfortunately, you'll not always be heard, when you wanna to. It hurts, but, other than popularize your creations more, I don't think there's much you can do.
What I can say for sure - it isn't just you lol
-
The fact that survivor or killer has new skin the day it comes out only means that they have money for it.
The usage of common skin doesn't indicate that player is bad. It only indicates that player either doesn't really care about rare-ish skins or doesn't have spare money to buy a new skin from the in-game store.
I've seen potatoes with brand-new skins and pros with the default skins many times.
-
When I just want to farm BP or complete character's grinding achievement, I don't use addons because I don't really see the point.
I usually use them when I have plenty and I want to experiment and see how well addons go with my perks / my playstyle. Or when I really-really need a win and I know that selected addons will help greatly. The Nurse is basically the only character I used addons on, while completing Adept achievement.

I have never seen fan fiction writers deterred by lore. That's kinda the point of fan fiction.
Also, it's not like every character thus far has been straight. Only a few have had explicit heterosexual relationships or leanings, but many others haven't had anything confirmed or hinted at.
What makes you think that every character thus far (except those ones, who have relationships mentioned in bio) hasn't been asexual? It's not like there are moments in lore, where characters go "woah, I like this girl/boy" (except Julie's archive, which, again doesn't exclude the possibility of her having relationships with girls before Frank appears in her life). It's not like characters express their sexuality in-game during trials. It's not like anyone, except Ash and Adiris, even speaks in this game.
-
The whole situation is actually very stupid, in my opinion.
It's like civil war in the community for literally no reason.
What's the problem with making characters gay/bi/lesbian/trans/etc. in fanfiction, headcanons and role-play forums? In-game it doesn't need to be highlighted, unless it serves a purpose of developing the character's lore arc. As it was mentioned before by many, it doesn't matter who these characters find sexually attractive, it's not like there's an option to romance anyone. If you want to associate yourself with a character on a sexuality-level, then just make your head-canon list, where the character you like has a sexuality that you have. In what universe is it a hard thing to do?
For example. Some people are shipping Dwight and Meg. And some people are shipping Dwight and Jake. Would it be possible to canonize either of these relationships without metaphorically spitting in a face of the side, who hasn't been chosen? No. So why not keep that "use your imagination" attitude, so that everyone can be happy?
With that being said, it's perfectly fine if they create a new original character, who is lgbt+. Or if they implement a licensed character, who is said to be lgbt+ in the original source. But don't pull the inadequate card of J.K., please.
-
Don't have flashy-flashies. Cringe.
