Oh I've never seen a Trunk or Treat with extra scenery around it! Y'all did an epic job, and the costumes are fantastic!

DBD has completely ruined my perception of construction sites, and also Home Depot. I find myself considering potential loops in the store...
Same, I'm glad I'm not the only one on that!
Oftentimes when we have to order large amounts of our casting materials, it'll come on a pallet, so when we remove the materials from it, its literally my other half and I making DbD jokes near it (faking pallet kicks, saying "Don't leave it there, you'll make this spot an infinite!", etc) until we break it down to throw it out lol

For the console or the computer cause I play on console so not sure how the code would work
Any platform you have DbD on, the code can be redeemed in the in-game store.
As far as the game itself, I love it so much. Its a wonderfully comedic Dating Sim (a la Hatoful Boyfriend like Jocelynbee mentioned), it's supposed to be something completely silly and doesn't take itself seriously (and the writing is great, actually laughed out loud a few times when playing it!)

he best place to report bugs or issues would be over in Bug Reports: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
And of course, please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote the existing report, otherwise feel free to go ahead and make a report following the guidelines!

Actions (or rather inaction, as it were) such as repeated AFKing or botting are not only unfun when it happens, but it is also reportable. Only the in-game report in the post-game lobby is required for these particular violations, with a Support Ticket being optional if you so choose to submit one.
For more information regarding the Rules and Reporting, we've got it all listed here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

I didn't realize it either. Whether I'm playing Killer or Survivor, I'm almost always playing for fun and the result of the match doesn't matter too much and I guess never moved much. However, my other half pointed out when I was trying for Michael Myers' adept achievement (and just missed getting), I was moving around/leaning forward quite a bit with the melee attacks lol
-
I am so excited for this event, and the cosmetics! I love the Gumball Censer for Plague...
... but as someone that almost badly chipped their teeth on Jolly Ranchers as a kid -twice- I am genuinely terrified of Trapper's candy cleaver lol

I'm so sorry you're going through this situation, but I am glad to hear the surgery went well and the hospital staff is wonderful and taking care of you while you're recovering.
All the absolute best to you, Spirit_IsTheBest ❤️ I hope recovery is quick, and I know you'll get through physical therapy in no time. And Halloween Ends is definitely something awesome to look forward too, and its not much longer until its out!

I saw you just posted the Bug Report, so I'll close this here, but the best place for these is Bug Reports; that way things such as bugs or serious issues that can cause problems for players can be seen by the Development Team as soon as possible, and not wind up getting lost here in General Discussions. Thank you!

Shoutout to Neil for composing the soundtrack, it's really a classic.
The soundtrack of our generation, truly
And circling back to the OP post, not going to lie as I was cleaning up post-storm aftermath this morning, I kinda thought about it and now want to get a Jenga set and see what my cats do with it (I can easily guess the likely outcome(s), but, at the same time...my cats are weird and full of surprises)...for science!

As mentioned here, and in the Forum Rules, the discussion of suspected leaks are not allowed here on the Forum.

I will not stand for this Snowman blasphemy. Imagine. IMAGINE not liking the snowmen. Couldn't be me, Jocelynbee, the Snowman lover and jump-insider.
I have never experienced snow, let alone actual snowmen... but spoopy inflatable snowmen you could jump into and scoot around in was a crazy amount of fun (though I understand the issues many had with them), and I will stand alongside you in defense of our virtual mylar holiday friends lol

Alright, as this thread has quickly devolved into arguing, including by the OP, I'm going to go ahead and close this up here. Please remember when here on the Forums to keep comments civil and respectful of each other, as well as others' thoughts and opinions.

I also prefer that the killer can close hatch, I do kind of miss when they could pull you out of the hatch though, added some tension to the situation. It was hilarious though when the killer would camp the hatch or the trapper would trap all around it. 🤣 He grabbed you after you gave him a medkit offering?? Shame on him...
Yeah, the surprise of just being grabbed right before escaping definitely had that feel of a horror movie to it, especially the audio sting and grab animation; but there are also no long hatch standoffs in horror movies (maybe in a director's cut of something? lol), and I definitely feel EGC was a good addition to both sides to progress the game.
He did! I wish I had recorded it, because the flow of events were too funny, when he grabbed me and barely moved to put me on a hook, I couldn't be mad at all, just cackling in my Discord mic. After I said "ggs <3 omg that hatch grab and immediate hatch grab was hilarious", I said something like "Sir, I'll have you know that medkit I offered you has been in my family for generations! lol" and after he "gg lol" said "Neat...and now its mine :) " and I was laughing again 🤣

Remember when you could control the moonlight with the moonlight offerings? 🌕️🌜️🌚
I loved those, and the images of the offerings as well!
Well, there was that one time I didn't like them... when my friends and I were all doing a Kill Your Friends Lobby, and I was playing (a very green and potato) Nurse, and all 4 of my friends playing survivor burned New Moon Bouquets (darkest moonlight) and we got put on MacMillian... we all had fun that match, including myself, but I struggled to see anyone. But when I did catch them, I used my match offering, an Ebony Mori, back when you could mori on the first down :3
I also admit, I prefer the ability of Killer closing the hatch, I miss the hatch grabs, as I never got to grab a survivor trying to escape through hatch; I was always either a second too soon or too late. At least the last match before EGC came along, I got a 15 second hatch standoff with Leatherface. I gave him my medkit, he nodded, and when I tried to jump in he grabbed me and put me on a hook literally two steps away from the hatch! I had to laugh, the tone of the whole standoff was more comedic than anything, and the Killer and I had a nice post game ggs/chat afterward <3

I hope you've found the exit by now...but if not...seize this opportunity to make the MOST EXTRAVAGANT pillow/blanket fort ever! lol
But as requested... this meme is silly, but I love it and use it often:

Aw, she’s so cute! I wanted to get a toast or orange slice (I’m pretty sure you recommended it once to me) but I know Rambo is a little bastard and I know it would have been a waste of money. I got the soft cone with the intent of sewing it to the onesie but figured bobby-pins are easier.
Im keeping the suit and cone for days when I need him immobilized (window cleaning, fridge cleaning, little nephews visiting). As much as I loved the experience of raising kittens from the day they’re born, never again! So much stress and work trying to find them good families, cleaning and feeding them and making sure they’re healthy.
Oh God, don’t get me started on the fur and cat litter. The dust from that gets into everything! I’m so happy they took to using paper pellets with relative ease. Soon I’ll be switching to pine pellets.
I wish I could have a co-pilot for Dbd. Instead I have a destroyer of keyboards and a destroyer of computer mice.
100%, if the cone/onsie seem like they will still fit when he grows, definitely clean and save them; I hope that he never has need of em again, but if he does they are ready to go. And as far as the sentiment on raising kittens from day 1... I feel you, welcome to the club 😅 Unfortunately I may be dealing with that again soon with an outdoor stray female, and to make it New Game + mode, my vet of 15+ years just retired. The litter is definitely vexing, I'm glad the paper pellet type is working well for you!
Aww now, I bet he'd be a good co-pilot eventually lol after a cat is neutered/spayed, it may take some time to "level/mellow-out", as it were, even as long a couple of months after. Also Spot isn't necessarily the best DbD co-pilot; she will play with my headphone cords and start knocking things off the desk lol
The only thing harder than getting back into playing Spirit after not playing as her for a long while, is getting back into playing Spirit after not playing as her for a long while, with the cat sitting next to you wanting attention NOW and chooses to make you aware of this by trying to gnaw on the corner of your phone sitting next to you lol

I’ll give him belly rubs for you in a bit. He was so adorable in that getup. He was actually kinda pathetic. He would slump around a refuse to do anything. Just slowly walk to me and slump on my feet.
Id feel bad and stick my hand under the onesie and scratch his back and he’d do the cutest thing and start licking the air, as if trying to get to the right spot where the itch is. I took it off of him after two days of wearing it and he’s done a good job of not kicking where the fluffy family jewels used to be.
Awww bless him <3 Glad he's doing well about the sutures (neuterings tend to heal quick and without any issues unless they really bite at the sutures/glue) and no longer needs the onsie of recovery lol
my other half decided to forgo the cone for the Toast of Shame...definitely didn't work as well, as only one of the three girls kept it on:
Spot is both a fashionista, and a good sport (and tonight she's my DbD co-pilot sitting next to me... or taking my chair when I get up between matches lol)

He was neutered and supposed to only wear the cone. The furry bastard knew how to take it off so I put him in his mothers onesie and bobby-pinned the cone to it.
Awww lol Give him pets too for me, and tell him he may be unhappy with the necessary situation, but at least he looks adorable!

Ooh this one is kinda tough. I'm never against new chase music, but, hmm... I am pretty attached to the original chase music. Although, according to Samination, the Trapper wrote his own music, and I personally feel it is only fair to allow him to use what he would like to lol

The Earned Bloodpoint cap is 2 million BP (i.e. after you earn 2 million points solely from playing the game, you stop earning BP), correct. However, there is also a pool of Bonus Bloodpoints (i.e. BP from codes, login rewards, and the monthly Grade Reset). It sounds like there's a fair amount of bonus BP in your total still, hence why its over the cap!
-
Alright, as this thread is going around in circles, and in light of some comments that were made, I am going to go ahead close this discussion up here.
-
As mentioned here, Anonymous Mode does not mean someone cannot be reported. If someone breaks the rules in your match, the required step for any offense is no different: Report the player in-game. This flags the match and player, and for any report is needed.
After that, it depends on the offense, as listed here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules For some offenses, Support Tickets are entirely optional, and for things like cheating or hacking, a Support Ticket with video evidence is required. As as the player is using Anonymous Mode, you don't need the Gamertag name or SteamID 64 for this; the ACMs can see your information you put in the ticket, as well as the match/player you flagged via in-game report, and go from there.
-
Dwight, Yun-Jin, Ash, and Jeff...but especially Dwight; I have a soft spot in my heart for baby Dweets lol
-
I truly appreciate the honest discussion and concerns being brought up in this thread, and a thank you to those discussing it in a civil and respectful manner. However, between some people attacking others, and going off the rails multiple times, I am closing it here.
I absolutely understand the points brought up. Back in one of the old PTBs where Killers saw a red flash on the screen when blinded by a pallet, I couldn't even watch a streamer play Killer, let alone play Killer myself, as it instantly triggered migraines for me which would not go away until hours later, if at all. The feedback of myself and others about this visual issue was heard by the Team, and it was not brought into the game. And issues with Sadako in the PTB were brought up and taken to the team to address it, and the orange glyph disabled for visual issues. Feedback like this is important, and places like Feedback and Suggestions help bring these issues to the team (as such, I moved this to Feedback and Suggestions).
And as it was brought up, colorblind mode was in the works well before many were made aware of it, Mandy (who has mentioned being colorblind herself), has previously mentioned this many times here on the Forum.
-
Definitely will second Steel_Eyed, its something I had to learn a bit as well. And IlliterateGenocide & Etherelda listed some great stuff as well! The birds do work best with denying areas, or if I suspect they are on a faraway gen, I may send a few off in that direction to confirm (and keep the survivors on their toes a bit). If you notice a survivor not particularly keeping an eye on you and just running in a direction, you can likely set up some birds ahead of them with a fair likelihood they'll make contact.
I've mentioned this one before, but I gave Zanshin Tactics a whirl on Artist once and fell in love with it. If you have survivors that know their vaults/pallets well, it can be pretty helpful. Definitely don't be afraid to try different perks/add-ons and see which ones work with your particular playstyle!
-
As the OP has attacked others for commenting, I am going to close this thread up here. Please remember when you make a thread, to be open to discussions and other points of view, but most importantly, please, always remember to be civil and respectful to others. Thank you.

I have't played with Plaything too much, but I wanna start mixing up builds on some of my killers again, and Plaything is on the list of perks I wanna try out more. And agreed with Buily09; while I try to do that naturally when I play, I always liked the idea it rewards for it.
-
There's no dates given at this time, but its a known issue from player feedback. Mandy discussed it yesterday in another thread:
-
Closing this here, with a little remember to keep comments civil towards others, please.
And yes, to answer the question, this is a player in Anonymous Mode (and yes, a player using Anonymous Mode is reportable still via the in-game report, and if submitting a ticket to support, your information and the in-game report is all the ACMs need to handle the player; and video evidence depending on infraction).
-
I like her a lot, honestly. Everyone will have different play styles and preferences when it comes to killers, especially stealth Killers, so they definitely may view a killer more of less favorably through that (which is absolutely ok; even if I disagree, I like seeing why people feel a certain way on things).
I adore Myers and Ghost Face to the Entity's Realm and back, but honestly, I really like Sadako over them. Don't get me wrong, I have definitely had more matches than I care to admit where I struggled with her... like, a LOT lol but I've had many matches where I did well with her too.
Heck, I decided to try for some adepts last Sunday (I don't normally play for achievements very often), and Sadako was one of the ones I got on Eyrie of Crows:
-
Those playing in Anonymous mode can still be reported.
Just like with any in-game rule violation, the in-game report is required to flag the match (the thumbs down icon). With cheating/hacking, you'll want to make a Support ticket with video evidence: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/categories/6713776396180-Dead-by-Daylight
When submitting a ticket to Support for someone playing in Anonymous Mode, you don't need to fret about the Gamertag or Steam 64ID; your information in the report ticket, and reporting in-game (that flagged the match/player) is all that's needed. The ACMs can tie everything together on their end, and take care of the person violating in-game rules.

I took some images from one of my matches (and a thumbs-up, high-five shoutout to my teammates, we were all trying to figure out the new map, and hope to be matched with them again, and if you are reading this, ggs! <3 and I have NO idea where to go on the new wing of the map and I apologize for getting lost every 2 seconds lol <3 but I digress...):

Less than a day until IT'S WESKIN' TIME.... ok, ok, bad meme, I'm sorry I had to 😭
That is a very thorough (and well stocked) starter pack! May I also add some fake rubber snakes from the Halloween section to attach to the inside of a jacket sleeve?
And while I don't really play Chris much at all, this next week I am ONLY surviving as Chris for all you Weskers out there, gosh darn it <3
-
I do let survivors go every so often; usually for a variety of reasons: Snoot boops, we spent the match memeing and had fun, I thought they played well, I identified they were very new the game and I would dial it back a bit, or its one of those matches I spend re/learning killers and, while I am trying to get kills, I usually only get a few kills (if any) and just appreciate them letting me get my Killer Legs, so to speak lol
-
Alright, I am going to go ahead and close this up here between comments going repeatedly around in circles, as well as a few comments toward the OP.
This situation as described does sound nearly akin to the old standoffs; both parties had options to progress/end the game (Survivor doing gens, even one gen to possibly lure her away from hatch, doing the other gen if she didn't leave, and Killer closing the hatch and activating NOED, especially in a face-to-face standoff), and both parties instead chose to play for the hatch until one party chose to stop doing so.
-
Oh that is definitely doesn't sound right if there were no TVs that entire match.
TheArbiter please head over to the Bug Report section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it (and feel free to add any extra info to that report that you feel is important), otherwise go ahead and open a new report following the pinned report guidelines.
(I could make a joke that maybe she was grounded and had no TV for a week...but no, that's a bug)

Hey there!
For Name Changes, all the info is here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/207-forum-name-changes No need to ping, Mandy handles the Name Changes, just leave a message on her activity wall, and she will get back to you on the Name Change as soon as possible.
