I enjoy playing against Spirit because she is difficult to juke, but with the right perks and the proper understanding of her power, it becomes much simpler to evade and juke her.
Spirit is a difficult killer to be chased by, but it is oh so rewarding when you end up looping her or leading her on a multiple gen chase. Or even escape the chase :D
-
I think that Legion chase music you listed really matches the intensity of being chased by a rabid, knife-wielding teenager.
The Spirit one also really catches the ambiance of what it would be like to be chased by a Japanese killer with a samurai sword.

There's probably 2 things I would change with Spirit's base.
- Make the phase audio louder (loud enough to not hear footsteps but still hear injured survivors)
- Give survivors a 'tell' that she is using her power (like an animation or something)
One of these would probably make her less frustrating for survivor players.
The whole point of her is that she is great at mind gaming. It's intense when you don't know whether she is phasing or just tricking you.

I don't face many Quentin's, but when I do they're usually P3 and insanely good loopers and occasionally toxic.
I'm no longer afraid of Blendettes, but Quentin just strikes fear in me.

Auric cell packs says it includes 12% more for $26.99 and so fourth for different prices but what does that mean? Do you get more auric then what it shows?
Here's an example. If you buy the $10 auric cell pack, you get more auric cells than if you buy two $5 auric cell packs.
If you buy a $20 auric cell pack, you get more auric cells than if you buy two $10 auric cell packs
And so on...

Oblivious is useless against Mending.
The survivor just needs to look a their mending bar, if it is not draining the killer is near.
Unless you mean that the survivor keeps draining forever while in Deep Wound status.
In which case that's broken as #########. There is a reason why Legion's Deep Wounds was changed to how it is today.
If they start mending, they gain the Oblivious status effect which means that they would not be under any conditions that a terror radius causes. So, the timer would still go down if you chose to start mending.
-
Legion's power has been flawed since the beginning and it is still flawed. His power is even worse now as it doesn't help at all in a chase.
Legion needs a power rework. The idea of being able to chain first hits on survivors is nice and unique but the implementation has either been extremely toxic or extremely underwhelming and weak.

Did you try restarting the application?

Thrilling Tremors is a really nice perk to see which generator you should go to after hooking a survivor.
I'm All Ears is nice because it shows you where survivors are in a loop and you dont have to even try to mind game on certain structures such as Jungle Gyms or T-L Walls.

Any perks you suggest work best with her ? And I had one game I took out 3 people but next game they were healing early and I couldn’t do crap they were so good and healing early on
Discordance works well with her.
-
I think that's awesome. The dev team has proven time and time again that they care about the community and they listen to the community.
-
I got it on my second try by asking the survivors to farm and then gradually built up my stalk.

Considering the game just came out I doubt they would give it away for free , PS4 had to wait like two years for that
I understand that, but the platform needs more players and this will get new players and will get people interested in the game. They lose profit for a month but have the potential to make some back via DLC's and auric cells. Plus they'll have more people playing and eventually more will come.
-
DBD should do a free month event on Switch like they did with PS4 in August 2018.
By doing this, new people on switch who may be unsure about DBD if they would like it or not (like I was) can try out the game.
The devs gotta remember that most people buy Nintendo consoles for exclusive first party titles. This is why BHVR should make DBD free on Switch for a month to get the playerbase up. And if they like it, they might even tell their friends about the game or purchase things in game.
-
Her traps are too strong. Let's just only allow her 1 trap in her basekit.

Another one of these? Just learn to run loops and not get mindgame'd. That's all. If you are really concerned, run Q&Q, Dance With Me, Lithe and Iron Will.
Spine Chill instead of Q&Q. It lets you know if shes mind gaming you or actually phasing.
-
Devs, take the hint. Legion is busted right now.
-
Plague is too low
-
I like Inner Strength, but it can only be used 5 times in a match. More realistically, you'll likely only get to use it once or twice per match since other survivors will likely find and cleanse totems.
Even though Self-Care is slower, it can be done an infinite number of times.
I like Second Wind, but I feel that the 100% heal on another individual is too finnicky and can be ruined if another survivor comes to help you heal, or if someone is healed even by 1%. Maybe the prerequisite should be 75% or healing someone the majority of a heal.
-
I rarely play against Hagatha and Doctor
-
You underestimate the power of Spine Chill.
-
@Marcus said:
I think it's very useful on Plague, but it's really not that good of a perk in general. Dying Light literally makes the obsession a "God" and it's only effective mid-late game, pretty much like the old DL.
Run Rancor and kill the obsession later on.

In some ways, yes, in other ways, no.
If you combine it with other add-ons, like the ones mentioned, it can be okay. You're still leaving a lot up to luck, but it might pay off. If you use it on its own, it might actually hurt you more than it helps.
There are some pig add-ons that we would like to change. The Pig is on the to-do list for add-on updates.
Would it be possible to give Pig 5 jigsaw boxes as default?
It makes the boxes more threatening, but not impossible to get off.
-
- Her combat straps add-on could be included as base kit.
- She should have 5 jigsaw boxes as default.
- Her traps should have a high chance or guarantee of not being removed on the first jigsaw box search.
-
@BenZ0 said:
That sounds nice, but I would say put a garantied NOT first key in the first box in, because I really hate that when survivors get the first box key, its actually dumb and doesnt make sense.
Why not both?

"You are literally contradicting everything you said before. First you said she's unloopable. Go and read your own comment. Don't edit it to try and seem like you're correct."
I'm not contradicting, nor have I edited any of my posts. You just don't know how to read properly.
"And I don't suck with Spirit."
Not based on what you've said here today.
"You are saying she is impossible to loop. I'm going to quote exactly what you said. You said: "Spirit is not loopable whatsoever. You are playing against idiots if you are.""
She is not a loopable killer does not mean the same thing as, "complaining about her being difficult to loop". She is not difficult to loop because she is not loopable. You are emplying in your statement that a difference of skill is the factor when it is not. This is simple.
"So like I said, you suck playing against Spirit. You want more than my opinion, go watch a video of Tru3Ta1ent playing as survivor against Spirit. He has looped Spirits many times."
You clearly don't know what looping actually is then young one. I've got more hours at rank 1 then you and all your friends combined. You need to play the game some more and learn a thing or two. Tru3 would agree with all the statements I've said here today. You should watch him more to learn a thing or two.
Bragging about wasting hours of your life on a game isn't impressive. Running the Spirit around to different tiles and back to the same tiles can be viewed as looping. And yes, once again, she can be looped. Her power has a long-ish cooldown.
Just cause you can't loop her doesn't mean it's impossible. If you can't handle Spirit, then that's on you.
-
Or they could simply make Mettle of Man active based on total amount of prerequisites achieved.
For example, the requirements for Mettle of Man to activate are currently 3 protection hits. That is seriously too much.
You can keep protection hits in, but if you add in another requirement such as Safe-hook rescues or totem cleanses or even generator completetions and just allow these different prerequisites to be combined until a total amount of 3 are met, then I feel it would make Mettle of Man more useful.
Maybe generator cleanses and totem cleanses would be too much, but something simple like Safe-hook rescues could work.
TL;DR: Don't make Mettle of Man require 3 protection hits. Instead, give the perk another option as a prerequisite and allow the prerequisites to be combined until a total of 3 of the requirements are met.
-
The Pig.
Please someone buff the Pig to have 5 Jigsaw Boxes as her base kit.
-
Head On makes lockers safe so long as you don't sit in a locker until you get crows.
It also has many plays and ways to be used to help out a survivor, especially with Inner Strength, Decisive Strike, and Quick & Quiet.
Head On is obviously not the strongest perk in the game (I'd reserve that for Adrenaline or Borrowed Time maybe), but Head On is a good perk.

I never complained she was difficult to loop at all, maybe you need to go back and read some. Sounds like you just suck with Spirit. Maybe you need to go get a few more hours in the game and then come back not so new.
You are literally contradicting everything you said before. First you said she's unloopable. Go and read your own comment. Don't edit it to try and seem like you're correct.
And I don't suck with Spirit. She is my second main behind The Pig. I play as her and know how her mindgames and her power work. This is also why I know which perks work best against her (like I said: Spine Chill, Iron Will, Dead Hard).
I've looped many Spirits before. You are saying she is impossible to loop. I'm going to quote exactly what you said. You said: "Spirit is not loopable whatsoever. You are playing against idiots if you are."
So like I said, you suck playing against Spirit. You want more than my opinion, go watch a video of Tru3Ta1ent playing as survivor against Spirit. He has looped Spirits many times.
The only killer who is not loopable is The Nurse because her power ignores loops. But Nurse's can still be ran around, just not looped.

Spirit is not loopable whatsoever. You are playing against idiots if you are.
Yeah, you keep telling yourself that. Instead of complaining about her being difficult to loop, why don't you practice and learn to mind game her mind games. She can only phase every so often. If you can't loop a Spirit for even a little bit, then you just suck against Spirits. It's not that Spirit is unloopable.
-

This "child" has more hours than you and all your friends combined as well as playing both sides at rank 1 regularly.
Also, no all killers are not loopable, just most. If you think Spirit is loopable you are quite new. Once you play at high ranks some you will learn how weak she really is.
I play at Rank 1. I loop Spirits all the time because shes my second main so I know how she operates. Simple perks such as spine chill, dead hard, and iron will make looping her manageable. Like I said, every killer but Nurse is loopable.
-
I disagree with most of these. Some of your ideas are interesting but overall I dont agree.
Especially with rancor. Rancor is fine and can be a way to see where every survivor is when a gen is done and can allow you to ignore the obsession all game and still be able to kill them.
-
@Blueberry said:

That isn't strong with how loopable she is. Plague is quite weak.
Poor child. Every killer is loopable (aside from Nurse).
Having to only hit a survivor 1 time to down them is amazing and gives her a great advantage. Plague is 115% speed too. She is not weak.

I regret buying legion, plague, clown, the pig and leatherface, since they are all unplayable at red ranks. Good thing the first three were bought with shards
For survivor, the brown shirt and pants for claudette, as they made them brighter
You must suck as Plague and Pig then.
-
Some people complain about everything...
These are good changes. Nothing OP at all.
-
@Blueberry said:
If no one actually cleanses then she never even gets to use it, hence why she's a weak killer that doesn't even get to use her power.
Plague isnt weak. She can keep everyone a 1 shot down the entire match or gain access to a crazy strong power upgrade.
-
Spirit.
Spirit tends to be hard to mind game and run around for extended periods of time, so it's always exciting when I end up doing it.
-
I'd give The Pig 5 Jigsaw Boxes as her a base kit, and then rework the add-on that gives her 5 to do something else instead.
-

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/88078/my-tier-list-including-the-new-killer
Highly desagree, pig is one of the 3 worst killers. Also Plague and Myers are super strong, and huntress is definitely a tier. Also, the doctor is very weak, and totally not an a tier. A more realistic tier list would be
Nurse_Spirit
Hillbilly_Huntress_Freddy_Plague
Hag_Myers_Trapper_Demogorgon
Doctor_Pig_Ghostface_Clown
Bubba_Wraith
Pig is in need of love and a buff, but she is nowhere near being one of the weakest killers. If anything, she is right in the middle. Maybe less in the middle than before, but still in the middle. Her power is complex and when used smartly, her power can really slow down the game. She is even stronger with add-ons and can mind game loops well. Pair this with the fact that she can remove her terror radius and know where survivors are by using Whispers, and you've got quite an effective killer at slowing the game down and locating them.
Although I am a Pig main, I don't think my opinion is biased. She isn't A-tier, and maybe during her prime I'd say she was middle to high B-tier. A current skilled Pig player can have her perform like at least a low B-tier, and currently I'd say Pig is high C-tier (aka the mid tier.)

Also give her 5 jigsaw boxes as her base kit to actually make her traps more threatening. Then rework her Jigsaw's Sketch add-on so that searching Jigsaw boxes takes either slightly longer, adds one extra Jigsaw box (to make the total 6), or gives the player a status effect.

what about JEFF? worth it? I was thinking about getting him with the shards
Jeff is a fun survivor to play as. His perks aren't meta, but they're all nice perks.
Aftercare is easy to activate and will let you see auras of your teammates at any distance so long as you don't get hooked. Then the effect will be reset.
Breakdown is great for getting rid of hooks in an area of making tunneling more difficult because of lack of hooks. It also makes body-blocking more successful and seeing a hook go down as a killer makes the area a very unsafe place to down a survivor in. It's an underrated perk.
Distortion is great against aura reading perks like BBQ & Chili, A Nurse's Calling, etc. Its only downside is that there are only 3 tokens the entire match.
-
Although this was clearly a bug, you're right lol.
Pig always gets the short end of the stick despite being one of the most popular killers in terms of likeability and fun.
