I get called a tunneller even when I'm looking the unhooked survivor dead in the eye, and turn around to chase the unhooker.

They put his static field on a 60 second cooldown, removed the interaction block from shock therapy (at least this is what came across in the dev stream) and removed exhaustion from his addons. How is this not a blanket nerf?
He still blocks interactions. Also, you don't have to change stances while performing Shock Therapy, allowing you to move at 115%. You also get to hit them alot faster after shocking them. They replaced exhaustion for backwards skillchecks which will synergize well with Unnerving Prescence imo.

Leatherdick if I'm not memeing, Nurse every other time.
-
Just practice facing him, man. You live, and you learn! :)
-
Alright. I'm game for these changes.
-
I don't want Doc to change. I never lose when I use him as he is rn :(.
To be fair though, i havent watched the dev stream so i have no idea how it will work. I'll come back after and give feedback
-
For once, a tasteful nerf joke.
Vote up from me!

You're not meant to wiggle out every game.

There are perks for that for A reason .... imagine that ? Red stain is a thing confirmed ?
Just Imagine survivors being able to hide their scratches while running sideways without a perk. I hope this gives u a better understanding what I am trying to say without you getting all sweaty
Troll.
-
No. Just please no more nerfs for killers who dont deserve it.

That would be lame.
It would ruin the game and take the scares out of it.

I accept your opinion, to everyone his own. Still, i wanna tell you something, maybe you like it:
My working college is a hardcore DBD Fan since Day1, he has 2K hours on XBox and plays it on PC and on PS4 aswell. He always ran Selfcare and he was kinda warshipping this perk. He is more a stealthy type of player and i am totally fine with that. In general, i feel that many people who run selfcare prefere a more of a stealthy and juke then a "CHASE ME!! YOLO" playstyle. Anyway, we are discussing a lot about builds and strategy in DBD and i tried to convince him, that there are better options then SC, but he was basicly telling me the same as you did.
Finally, i came up with this build.. i kinda forced him to try it out because i think its fitting so well for him and its an amazing build overall ;)
- Lithe
- Dance with me
- Q&Q (you can change that with Urban or Lucky break)
- Inner Strength
Since that day he tried out that build, he has not touched Selfcare a single time and is now fully convinced, that there are better options then Selfcare. He changed the build a bit, and also tried out different things, but he is avoiding SC now and goes with Inner or even Bond to find teammates quicker. He has way more fun with that build and he feels 10 times more confident now.
Thats only a suggestion but maybe you wanna try this build out aswell?

Thats all true what you say and i had this in mind when i did the list, but the big thing here for me is, that leader has only an effect, if someone is with you, which is not always the case. Also, Teammates actually need to do what you want them to do that it has great effect :) Anways, i think leader is not a bad perk at all, but for my taste a bit to situational.

Sorry, but ballanced landing is not THAT bad after the change. I might accept B Tier, but definitly not D. Its still an exhaustion perk, that gives you different opportunitys then Lithe or DH. Honestly i think (and i dont mean to offend you) that people who rank it now that low are a bit buthurt about the nerf.
Seems to be i am really way off with MoM, the change might have been better then i have experienced recently. I will try it out a few more times.
SC again, absolutly no A Tier, not even close. Explained that a few times already. I am curious why you think SC is so good, let us now if you dont mind.
You give Fixated a lot of credit, im surprised by that one. Maybe i am the wrong person to judge on that perk, since the last time i walked in DBD was when i tried out Fixiated a few weeks ago ;) Shift button is my best friend ;) But you might be right, 20% is a lot and its amazing to juke the Killer, i will rethink that an i will try out that perk a few more times. Thanks for the input.
I dont know about Object, since i am still pretty sure it is just a bug that they need to fix (would not make sense at all to leave it that way). If it is not a bug, lol yea that its D Tier or even worse.
Botany on S? I really have no idea why you give this one so much credit. Its decent in my opinion, but nothing spectacular. Maybe i miss something here? Did they change or break it within the last patch(es)?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/896316#Comment_896316
I have it on B Tier, and i think it belongs there. For groups it is more or less worthless, but for a soloplayer it can be really good now, maybe A Tier. Hard to rank this one. I will definitly use it more often in the future.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/896506#Comment_896506
I totally agree on this^
Truth be told, I haven’t played with Balanced after the nerf so I’m just judging it based on how appealing it sounds now (which is not very).
Botany I rate so high because it’s a permanent healing buff, for you AND other survivors.
I only rate SC as an A tier perk because of the perk combo with Botany. By itself, it’s more like low C tier. But considering I only use SC with Botany I’m just biased 🤷♂️
As for Fixated, I love the stealth element it adds. It’s a better Urban, and also is a perk that allows you to mindgame your scratchmarks better since you can physically see where they are.

shes got a point calmspirit does counter doc pretty much i could see it since no mither is supposed to have the tradeoff of making you stealthier in exchange for being oneshot oni makes that completely useless.
Truth be told, I haven’t faced Oni yet. The overwhelming hate he receives leads me to believe he doesn’t really need NM to ignore blood orbs.

It's not about getting one shot. It's about giving a useless perk a use. It would only counter the power for the character who is running No Mither. It's the same way Calm Spirit hard counters the Doc power but without the huge downside No Mither has XD
That would be too strong of a counter to the power though.
-
Balanced Landing needs to be right behind Diversion in D Tier
MoM moved to B
Sslf Care moved to A
Fixated to B
Object to C
Botany to S

God I remember when the counter to this used to be Nurse was free.
What have we done.
But Nurse is still very strong?

No. You’ll either get over the fact that it’s staying, or dip.

lol I think in the case of No Mither and dying in one hit, an exception would be okay XD
Why would it matter though? I mean, if the killer can insta down you without his power, what difference does it make if he uses his one shot to down you?
-
DBD is not pay to win, my friend. You know, Freddy used to be pay to lose, right?
-
A perk shouldn’t counter an entire power.
-
I don’t want him reworked, I love Doc as he is :(

Jesus Christ again?! F

New Survivor’s perks
and DC punishments!

They want a easy time and easy game of bullying killers. Survivors get it easy and they want killers to struggle even more.
@Liruliniel I hope BHVR doesn’t have any plans on changing Freddy. He’s perfect as is right now, and one of my favorite killers to play.

@lunaticlifter said:
@TAG Oh well i guess i don't need to explain more, you'll discover by yourself
@Doc_W__HOLLIDAY bnp and instaheal are still strong, wt are you talking about lol?
@DwightOp Freddy and billy are their target for balance.. these killers get destroyed by good survivors. If the buff may lead to a second objective and map rework, i'm all in.
@lunaticlifter to be fair, I haven’t played in a little over a month thanks to moving and my new internet being a pain to get installed. But I remember BNP’s being ass after the nerf. I haven’t gotten to try the instaheal.
-
SWF with one guy running Small Game practically deletes NOED from the killer’s perk list.
-
Nurse isn’t weak at all. But I would laugh myself into an early grave if someone said Freddy would be a viable killer.
-
Tf does Plague need a nerf for?
-
At least BnP’s and instaheals got nerfed into uselessness. SWF will have to find something else to troll with.
-
People are crybabies, man. Don’t let em tell you how to play.
-
Composure: 10 (I’ve always been good at keeping my cool)
Luck: 3 (self explanatory)
Repair: 5 (did some work with my dad when I was a teenager)
Speed: 8 (I am fairly fast)
Strength: 10 (I’ve always been really strong.)
Stamina: 10 (I can run for a good while. Enough to escape a vicious killer!)
Sneak: 4-5??? (I’m 6’1 so its hard for me to stay low enough to not be seen, even though I can walk kinda quietly)
edit: was too generous on my repair, so I brought it down some.

I mean...you can adjust it. I turned mine on pretty high for killer because way too many people are good at 360ing on PS4
It's all the way up. It's not as fast as it used to be.
-
I presume not?
-
Yes it needs a rework, it does next to nothing against rank 1 survivors, and bullies new survivors. It's a necessity for high rank play if you use a standard M1 killer.
-
B8 was so good you caught a nice Muskie with it, however, i am not interested in such b8.
-
Build: Thana, Dying Light, Ruin, and BBQ or Pop.
Add-ons: Button and one of the duration add-ons or Frank's Mixtape.
If people don't DC like crazy, you'll snowball hard with this.
-
Um...no?
-
No thank you, friend. :)
-
No, git gud.
-
Another one of these posts?
-
listen to American Venom from RDR 2. It will make the most boring situations feel badass.
-
no.
-
Depends. If I meet a SUPER toxic survivor, I will hardcore tunnel them. That means if I'm chasing an injured guy and suddenly I find you, MoM and all, you bet your ass I'm coming for you instead. I tend to end chases rather quickly so I can spare the time.
If you're being Omega toxic and I have good pressure going, I WILL facecamp for an entire hook state.
What's toxic to me? Flashlight clicking, sandbagging, and flashlighting after every pallet. Tbagging usually only nets you a nice spicy tunnel.
-
Also, every time the Demogorgon gets stunned, play Despacito on repeat.
If the killer hooks a survivor and doesn't get 64<meters away in under .1 milliseconds, the killer gets not only banned for facecamping, but also arrested irl and sentenced to the death penalty.
-
I appreciate you and this photo, sir.
-
I'm 21 so I don't go to school anymore. however my first day at my new job a few weeks ago was pretty cool.
-
I don't have a favorite song, but my favorite NEW song would be Unsainted by Slipknot. I relate to it quite alot.
-
Borrowed Time, Adrenaline, any genrush perk, skilled teammates, DS, and double rushing the hook. Last time a killer facecamped my friend, it ended in a 0k.... vs Ghostface...
Secondly, what's with all the camping threads?

Good evening everybody,
with this post I would like to finally find a fix for the situation where the camera on ps4 spins too slow to actually follow a survivor properly.
Before someone comes out with a stale "git gud" argument, I will preface that I play on both ps4 and pc, and on ps4 I sometimes play with a mouse with a piranha split fish controller.
Following a 360ing survivor with a mouse, on both ps4 and pc, is absolutely simple and I may wiff a blow every 30 when using a mouse.
The problem is that to use a mouse on ps4 I need a table and another controller to hear the sound as the piranha doesn't have an audio jack so when I play a quick match I end up playing with a regular controller.
On a regular controller, the speed of a survivor spin when 360ing is simply too fast for the controller to follow.
The counterplay not to wiff is simply to chase the survivor, get close enough for either a quick tap or wait for their spin and strike. You can accomplish this stopping your movement why they spin so you hit them regardless or even moonwalk and then hit.
These solutions work really well but they do require time everytime you are chasing a survivor. Each hit could take 0.3/0.5 seconds more than on pc and time is a commodity killers do not have.
I cannot see any solutions to this to either increase the camera sensitivity on console or decrease the speed of spin on console.
The difference between mouse and controller needs to be looked at please.
Regards
I haven't been 360'd in over a year. It's not that difficult to counter.
