Most people DC because this game is just ass and they go down for unfair reasons. I've been shot through trees, walls, and pallets against Deathslinger because of the way his spear moves. Hatchets that hit the ground will still hit me. I'll vault a window and start running with Lithe, but still go down because Hillbilly on dedicated servers is ass.

If you don't get at least 1 kill is Spirit in any match, it shows the player has little knowledge of the game. Spirit is the second easiest killer to play in the game, and if she bas Stridor, then it's essentially impossible to "mindgame" her.

It’s most definitely not justified. I never use ebony Mori and I get 3-4K easy. Do you have a headset? Do you have map knowledge under your belt? Ok then... you’re fine. It’s way too easy to down people in this game if you need a Mori to get a kill then it’s definitely you, not the games fault. Keys provide an alternative escape route which is absolutely necessary in every competitive survival game. Friday 13th has much more ways of escaping. So don’t cry about a damn hatch or a key. As for Mori’s I would say the yellow one is the most fair. It’s an offering. It shouldn’t be that powerful. Survivors don’t have instant gen completion offerings do they? Why can’t they do their objective with an offering? That’s unfair.
You're clearly a survivor main.

I've said this with the Deathslinger PTB version of Hangman's Trick as well. It's Just information, nothing crazy like instadowns or the Mangled effect. So why did it need a nerf? For those who don't know what Gearhead is, because nobody plays that garbage perk, here's what it does: After hitting a survivor (with your basic attack) twice, the next time a survivor hits a good skill check on a gen, the gen gets highlighted as long as it's worked on, and this effect lasts for 30 seconds (at tier 3). The old version used to last 45 seconds and happened if a survivor hit any skill check on a gen. Still not great, but at least doable and could even take the place of a perk like Surveillance or Discordance. But no, it had to be changed for some reason. Why is it that everyone complains about the same 5-6 perks being used on every killer/survivor, yet the devs continue to nerf already-weak perks or buff them to such a small degree it doesn't even matter? The meta needs to be shaken up desperately, so maybe reverting some of these unpopular nerfs could do the trick? You'll never know if you don't try.
Buff a killer perk? You must've lost your mind.
-
I would say an ivory mori is justified, but for the people not in SWF the game will be boring as hell, especially since 99% of killers mori off first hook.
-
The system is meant to give you daily rituals for whichever side you play less. It is just a means of getting you to play both killer and survivor.
-
Some people say Spirit is better. Lmao.

How To Dodge Slinger: No

At least 3 times a day.

I think a lot of these are really matchmaking/ranking issues, and I agree that SWF benefits the most from the current system, though I think solo queue and killers un-benefit about equally. I really hope we get a system that's able to differentiate skill level better and make closer matches for all five players.
Once MMR is ironed out re-introduced the matchmaking should be much better.

3. SWF (Extremly Easy)
If you struggle at SWF at any rank, get better or get better Teammates seriously
2. Killer (Very Easy)
If you struggle as killer, get better or play OP killer like Nurse and Spirit
1. Solo Survivor (Easy)
Sometimes its really impossible to win, but at least 50% of the games are still winable, as long as you are good at the game.
It's not about what you can do, but what your team can do.

@LetsPlayTogether said:
1) Bad SWF wont win against average or above killers. Thats nonsense. Even playing 2man or 3man can result in utterly defeat cause mostly the randoms are useless and also most SWF dont are same rank, which makes it even harder for them to protect the weak and still do objectives. And good SWF are not sweaty per se. Nonsense again.
2) SWF are mostly the only groups that make the game interesting due to them maybe on par with yourself. Otherwise its far too easy to get 4Ks as killer as long as you understand the basic mechanics of this game.
3) Solo is the same as small SWF due to randoms that lack skill and killers that only purpose is to play as annyoing as possible.
At all playing survivor is far more frustrating than playing killer. Youre too much reliant on your mates and having to face mostly killers that are soo bad that their only way to play is relying on camping, tunneling, slugging and OP builds/addons. There is basically one out of eight games with a well playing killer.
SWF is the reason that many people have a high escape record. The coordination is unparalleled.
Killer has to deal with so many dumb mechanics and things in the game that generally makes the experience unpleasant.
Solo survivor is difficult because the team you get paired with can't play the game and the killer can play extremely well.
-
There's some other things that I didn't include such as moris in solo queue, but I think I did get the big stuff.
-
Bans have been disabled, but I know what you mean. When PH came out people were constantly working with the killer. I'd get farmed off hook twice and then morid. Unfortunately the only thing you can do is go through a paywall for DS. Otherwise you can't do anything, as reporting players in game does absolutely nothing.

Hahah no it does not. Getting a character to 40 is a couple of afternoons casually playing survivor.
load out bbq on killer with some pudding/bps you can have a character in a few hours if that.
Obtaining every perk on a single character is around 6 million points. Now factor in if the player wants to prestige. You'll be spending over 10 million points on one character. That's going to require more effort than casual play.

Considering that it’s a massive grind, I honestly wouldn’t expect more than 10% of the player base to actually p3 All Perks every single character. I only plan on doing that with Meg and Felix. Same for killers. Only character I bothered to p3 is Bubba
I wouldn't even buy every survivor as it's a waste of money, but even getting every perk on one character takes a long time.

And if not, can I at least get tier 55 just so I can have a full Zarina outfit?
That's a little more doable. Still, it's 16 tiers in under 3 days.

Sprint Burst can give you the positioning to get to a loop and avoid the early hit altogether. Dead Hard is essentially a third health state if you use it right. Somehow I feel like most Survivors wouldn't change their lineups.
Why take a 3 second SB when you can take a 5 second SB? Combine this perk with Lightweight or even something like Dance With Me or Poised, and you're gone.

Not really. It's like balanced landing where the secondary effect doesn't work when you're exhausted. And plus Survivors would have to run this perk instead of Dead Hard and Sprint Burst.
So its unlikely you'd see it that often merely because of the competition from the other exhaustion perks and the fact that they're more useful against Killers that can't insta-down, which again is most Killers.
It's Adrenaline without the heal everytime you get hit. It also negates all insta-downs. Sprint Burst and Dead Hard are not competition for that.
-
1 tier is 10 fragments.
1 fragment is 800 XP.
You get about 650 XP per match.
That means you'll have to play between 12 and 13 matches to go up one tier.
You're starting at tier 39, so you'll have to play approximately 312 matches. And that's if you play extremely well in each match.
-
You could've done 5% on each gen. Send an image of the % values.
-
The only issue is getting characters to P3 with all perks. Something needs to be done to make that less difficult.
-
Does the last part mean chainsaws are no longer instant downs? If so, this is a bad idea.
-
It shouldn't make a full return, but people who lost their Legacy should get it back if they have proof of once having it.
-
You're literally at a disadvantage if you play either character. They're both loud, tall, and stick out with their outfits.
-
Chosing one of these maps is going to make people think you main one side, but I find Ormond to be the nicest looking of all the maps. Can't wait for it to get overhauled.

Imagine being a survivor main. Lmfao

Moderately decreases hatchet wind up speed
Hatchet needs to be completely wound up to insta down.

Is that so? I don't mind Undying at all, but I've always been a totem cleansing fiend. It's annoying, sure, but seems extremely balanced (considering it is a hex perk that can be destroyed, sometimes within seconds of trial starting) I haven't heard a single survivor main complain about Undying so far, but maybe your post game chats are very different haha
_
On main topic, Mindbreaker seems like it could go really well with Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer (or even just Mindbreaker/Ruin). Ruin discourages you from waiting out the remaining cooldown time on your exhaustion perk (because that lets the gen regress a lot), and Tinkerer has obvious advantages paired with Mindbreaker with how you can pull up on them before they have much time to counter Mindbreaker's effects.
Those 3 gen, late game scenarios seem like they'd get some use out of Mindbreaker, too, at least against SB users. You'll actually be able to commit to at least a small chase since they won't be able to run far enough from the 3 gen to be helpful to themselves/their team as a distraction to drag the killer across the map LOL
Surv mains hate the Ruin and Undying combo. Many are conplaining about it.

Yep i would love fixated soo much more if they removed the stupid requirement its not like im gonna power walk away whilst the killer is chasing me whilst injured, yet i refuse to run sprint burst without it so i just gotta suck it up ironically i also bring spinechill(as well as vigil) aswell, underrated perks for the win!
I like to bring Fixated, SB, Lightweight, and Detective's Hunch.

@xEa said:
People who use Spine Chill just to compensate for Vault build simly dont realse the potential of it. I run this perk now for at least 1k hours and its by far the best looping perk, miles ahead of anything else like Dead hard or Iron will.
@TheClownIsKing i hate to say it since it is my favourite perk overall, but you are right with everything sayed, the perk is simply overpowered.
condition? Make that it does not work when you are injured.
People hate Fixated because a part of it only works while healthy. Adding the healthy requirement to Spine Chill would be a dumb move.

Monochrome Maniac outftit with the silvery steel tactical knife.
Classic shroud + Viper mask + default or prestiged knife.

Another way to counter DS. Yes.

@YaiPa said:
totally not meta. there's no point in running mindbreaker over ruin+undying, over pop or over corrupt. Killer's meta is slowdown meta, there's no space for chase perks. Also, 5 seconds is nothing, since you can just recover the exhaustion as the killer approach or mid chase after a pallet stun, and the recovery stop it's not enough to make it meta, just really really niche.
Undying will get nerfed anyways. Too many survs are complaining about it.

I don't understand why this add-on reveals aura constantly, not just when you activate key. Any other key aura revealing add-on works only when you activate key. Key have all survivor's revealing add-on, killer revealing add-on. I understand how broken it would be if this add-ons worked like wedding ring. But why wedding ring should work different? Is that a mistake?
Only being able to see one person would make it incredibly underwhelming. It.
-
Dead Hard is never the best exhaustion perk. That title is held by Sprint Burst.
Why?
Exhausted on the ground.
-
My personal gen-rush build is:
Better Together or Bond
Prove Thyself
Leader
And Streetwise
Your teammates know where you are to receive buffs from your perks and everything will get done faster. Can't forget the extra item charges too.

@Thrax said:
I might like them but I get keeping them special. The early adopters that gave life to this game while it filled in some more content before it hit it's stride deserve something for it. I wouldn't mind them offering things pretty similar but it shouldn't just be a pallet swap.
Legacy isn't special when 90% of it is hacked and most legit players lost it and never got it back.
-
It became .0001% when people started losing it and BHVR wouldn't give it back.
-
It depends what is in the area and if I spawn alone or not. If I spawn by a chest, totem, and gen then I will do the everything in that order. If I spawn with another surv I will rush the gen.
-
When you tunnel the No Mither.

Mindbreaker needs to work at all times, not just the first half of the gen.
Cruel Limits should block pallets.

WGLF does not need aura reading. Having ANY bonus is good, it does not need to be the exact mirror of BBQ. You want that aura reading, run Babysitter.
Cruel Limits is still trash.
Mindbreaked depends on the numbers but really should just lost the less than 50% requirement.
Forced Penance is a terrible perk, it relies on such a specific situation of bodyblocking, at which point broken does basically nothing.
WGLF needs team aura reading.
Cruel Limits was originally nerfed because surv mains are babies. It was nerfed before ptb because survs were so scared. The 32 meters is good, but it needs to block pallets as well.
Mindbreaker should last for 8/9/10 seconds and should be active at all times the surv is on a gen.
Protection hits are just stupid af. You could get hit when someone is on the other side of a wall and the game will give you a protection hit and now you're broken. I'm all for the duration buff once they iron out protection hits.
-
"Nerf Unbreakbale"
"My proposed nerf is to remove recovering from the dying state."
You can't nerf Unbreakable without gutting it.

The point is no one was complaining about pop, but they nerfed it for the benefit for survivor, which is non existent. Even if someone was complaining about pop or Thant they aren't going to be happy with the changes. It has no change to the enjoyment of survivor and probably a little more frustration to killer
Rank 20 survivor mains complain about it all the time, and the devs listen to those new players instead of the vets because they'll get more money that way.
-
Any Means Necessary - Good
WGLF - It needs aura reading
For The People - Good
Blood Pact - Good
Cruel Limits - Good
Mindbreaker - Needs More
Trail of Torment - Good
Forced Penance - Does Not Need Buffed
Pop - Does Not Need Nerfed
Thanataphobia - Just Make Forever Freddy Stronger. Smart Idea. Make Legion Even Weaker. Really Smart Idea.
