I'd like to say that after getting fourteen brown items (with the Ace In The Hole add-ons as usual) and then a yellow flashlight with no add-ons immediately after, I'm never going outside when it's storming ever again, because with that kind of luck I'm just asking for death by mother nature.
I mean, I've gotten a key with the perk once, so that's neat, but I've also gotten literally the same results without Plunderer's, so I see no reason whatsoever to use it. You're better off using just Ace In The Hole, imo.

You can't jump in a locker because that makes you toxic. According to some people in the forums.
I'd say it's toxic only if you're the last survivor, hatch is closed, and you're prolongong the game just to force your sacrifice by the entity to deny the kill.
Just about any other time is fair game, imo. Hop right in that locker.

Having played Amanda an uncomfortable amount, I can say that I'm surprisingly okay with how RNG her power is.
So long as you play relatively competently and abuse survivors with traps, you can get a kill, and add-ons make this process even easier.
The RNG is somewhat fair solely because Pig's is the only power in the game that has the potential to kill survivors with no sustained input from you--Not even Executioner has that.
Edit: I completely forgot where I was going with this post. Something, something, give Pig an add-on pass that isn't just an audacious nerf. I don't see half of her add-ons used, and that's ridiculous. As she is, TT is fine where it's at. It's strong, but it's purple so it's supposed to be.

Well, my last game with Myers was all good, but as one more Main, I am getting tired of continuing to leave its power at 99% every time and that the dedicated server activates Tier 3 by mistake and that I cannot access multiple times to its true power. Leave a survivor dying with just one hit and be a stealthy killer at the same time. I estimate that Myers can activate Tier-3 up to a maximum of 5-6 times until the stalking is completely depleted.
I am tired of the game determining that I am stalking a single survivor when in reality I have 2 or 3 in my line of sight. That little detail they had to nerf long ago made him weak today today.
He and Pig are the only killers whose primary power is completely depleted. Tier-3 and the Inverted Bear Traps.
For the love of god, Developers, if you read this, give me a sign of life that we will see Myers reworked for the first time in October.
5 years and its power is very basic. He is not as mobile, not immune to Spine Chill or other killer auras or detection abilities. His power runs out.
"I estimate that Myers can activate Tier-3 up to a maximum of 5-6 times until the stalking is completely depleted."
Actually, It's eight times with no modifiers
I would have quoted that properly, but I'm on mobile and don't want to mess around with this interface, sorry.
-
I mean, the breakable walls on that map are hilarious now, though--if the killer can afford to go around rather than commit to breaking them, then a stupid amount of dead-ends available to ferry survivors to.
I mean, that doesn't usually happen, but it's pretty neat when it does.

For some reason, I think this thread deserves a necro. The state of the game at the moment really makes me want to repeat this entire post.
I mean, I'm happier having seen this thread--I'd talk more, but I'm going to go pass out instead. Still, I agree with what you're laying out!

All I'll say about the new maps is that (and I say this having checked from both sides,) hilariously the shading on the Crotus Penn maps (the asylum specifically) makes it almost impossible to see grass-covered traps while in chase--the color matches the traps exactly, so they're literally impossible in shade and difficult in normal settings. They're easy to spot everywhere else, but I love the unintentional buff.
-
You know what, I'm fine with Blight/Oni flicking like they do, what I'm not fine with is getting hit when I'm behind the killer by five meters. Maybe the player has to use outside software to achieve the flick, maybe it's a matter of sensitivity--if the developers say they won't touch it, then they won't and I doubt there's much that people can do about it.

Not a good change for deathslinger, here's an actual good one:
MS is now 115%, but still has 24m TR
ADSing takes 1 second, when you first start ADSing, his speed starts decreasing to 110% after 1 second (when you can fire), then 105% after 2 seconds.
Remove noise notification when being aimed at.
Have 2 detection zones: Make a hitbox for environment and another one for survivors. Make the environment hitbox the same size it is now but make the survivor detection zone much bigger than the harpoon, similar to a huntress hatchet.
Increase the amount of charges on the chain from 100 to 120.
Increase reload speed by 0.25 seconds.
Decrease missed shot cooldown by 0.25 seconds.
The changes made there in your post would make him the worst killer in the game.
I think you're missing the point of this thread, and it's almost impossible to be a worse killer than Nea, so I really don't think the changes are that bad.
-
Forgot to remove the fact that you can kill survivors with the Tombstone Piece, as my offered change to the actual Tombstone makes it redundant

Nightmare
- Freddy's main ability has been replaced with his pre-rework one. His Snares have been replaced with the ability to pull people into the dream.
- Survivors can no longer wake up during the Dream Transition, this is to prevent survivors from being able to self-care in front of him and Freddy not being able to do anything about it.
- Freddy will keep his Dream Projection from the current rework, but the cooldown will be reversed. The more survivors that are awake, the less time it stays on cool down.
- After using Dream Projection, the Nightmare will be able to hurt awake survivors for a short amount of time. Successfully hitting an awake survivor during this state will pull them into the Dream World. Freddy will be fully visible to awake survivors while he can hurt them.
- During the Dream Transition, survivors will be highlighted in blue while The Nightmare is visible to them, and will not be highlighted when he is not. This is to make using the Dream Transition glimpses for mindgames a lot easier.
Actually, I love this. Can we have this instead of current Freddy? It sounds like it has amazing counter-play while still being understandable enough to be fun for basic [BAD WORD] who didn't understand how to play old Freddy.
EDIT TO ADD RELEVANT CONTENT:
The Shape
- Re-gains the ability to multi-stalk, but Evil Within progress slows considerably when doing so.
- Judith's Tombstone's T3 requirement slightly lowered, gains the power gauge drain that the Tombstone Piece has when killing survivors.
- Tombstone Piece now allows The Shape to drop to Tier one of Evil Within, it takes significantly less Evil raise to T2 of Evil Within.
-
Can't wait to actually see over loops when playing Blight

I don't know how to clip specific pieces of a post to reply to them piecemeal, so I'll just do it sequentially:
You press on the black symbol on the left side of the window you are typing and then on Quotation mark and then " "Quote ".
You are truly ignorant because you just ignored everything I sayed and exaggerated argument to your favour. Talking to you feels like talking to people in the postgame chat who are just focused on their own point of view and can't accept other opinions. But ok I will try to reply to the mess you wrote. BTW I am a none english speaker, so I dont understand your fancy wording often and dont understand if you called me an idiot, I will slide it for now because I might have missunderstood it, try to write a more simplfied english for people who dont speak it on daily bases.
Correct. If it's ignorant to play the game as it's intended while being kind to others, then call me the Amazing Ignorant.
True and false, in that order. True, I do want games that are fun for me. In return, I make them fun for others. Reciprocity. False, there are killers who want to play against tryhard teams like that. Granted, they also tend to be those who like to play this game to hurt people, but they exist regardless.
First, you are just assuming that you know what is fun for others but also want them to make the game fun for you in return. You are very wrong if you think that survivor would ever do anything that harms them and benefits you out of good heart. The correct answer is even: They are not able to do this! Because they cant hold M1 less hard on a gen, they cant just not unhook someone, they cant just not defend themselfs against you. The only thing they can do is not being toxic ingame, thats it.
Second, you are saying that there are killers that want to play against tryhards and that is wrong. I dont say that there are realy ZERO, but take any killer main streamer or me for example, we want to play with skilled survivors with people on our level, but none of us wants to play against sweaty tryhards that would finish the game in 4 min and leaving every teammate on the hook just to escape and make the killer loose. There are 100% not enough crazy-masochistic killers for all those teams that want to ruin the killer.
Incorrect. I played killers I was less skilled with repeatedly (probably never going to adept Plague at this rate, smh), without playing killers I was very good with. Unless you count that as "abusing the system," in which case, correct. I also note the fact that you assumed the enjoyable MMR matches were my deranked matches, when I clearly state the deranked matches were against tryhards, and thus deranking did nothing about the level of skill in opponents.
See! That is your kind of passive aggressive talking, you are like a cobra that twists everything and then tries to poison you. You are speaking so arrogant it pains me to read it. I said originaly:
If I understand correctly you are abusing the current ranking system be deranking on purpose
Like you see I say I am not sure if I understand you correctly, because your style of writing is very strange and difficult to understand. But you go full passiv-aggressive mode and twist it like I am attacking you. All I said: IF you are deranking on purpose just to get easier opponents you are stealing every other killer in the big killer pool the oportunity to play an easier game once in a while. You are not red rank, you think you get often red rank survivor or swf teams, but you dont know how the air smells when you are rank 1! We on rank 1 dont get swfs or tryhards sometimes, we get them all the time! And maybe 1 in 20 games is a game against less skillful survivors and you as experienced killer can tell the rank by seeing the survivor in the chase for 10sec. Thats why red killer dont respect anyone who abuses the derank system just to avoid the tryhard survivors, because if all killers climb down the killer who stay will be forced to catch all those tryhards by them own. Do you know how long queue time for Red Killer is? Its between 5-10sec and I am pretty sure it would be quicker if not the hidden countdown. Do you know how long my queue time on rank 1 survivor is (solo)? 5min before 17o'Clock and 10-20min after 19o'clock. There are not enough killer in red ranks!
As above, I did, and you misconstrued it somehow, which is hilarious.
You are the only person who is misconstructing here! I dont know why you are so aggressive, noone is attacking you, its not the post game chat! But hilarious is how people would project their flawes on other people without seeing them.
I take you, morally, as a quitter. That's why I take you as the kind of person who thinks that abuse that's "out of sight, out of mind" is somehow still okay. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm taking what you're saying the wrong way. I'd still re-open the chat. What you're calling "pride" is having values and standing up for them. I'm allowed to scorn idiots, I fail to see your problem.
Sorry, I dont understand what you are writting at all! Are you calling me a quitter? Like I am DCing? Because from all I told its the most wrong assumption one could ever make about me, and when you watch my post history you would see it very quick. You seem like the guy who would DC the as soon as someone breaks his ruin 30sec into the match.
That's why I take you as the kind of person who thinks that abuse that's "out of sight, out of mind" is somehow still okay. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm taking what you're saying the wrong way.
Also completly wrong. Judging people is not you strong side, I would suggest that you stop doing it in the future, because you are hurting feelings with this. But hey, someone who experienced so much toxicity in the post game chat as you should be better then that? I guess not. From the way you are talking to me you yourself are acting like a bully with no manners.
I'd still re-open the chat. What you're calling "pride" is having values and standing up for them. I'm allowed to scorn idiots, I fail to see your problem.
First: You did not try it. You are just saying stuff with no weight to it. I tell you to try it, then you can return and tell me that you still reopned it. But saying that you still would do it without trying is just showing that you are focused on your own point of view and refuse to broaden your horizon. And the last part, I dont understand if you insulted me or not, but I am bigger then this anyway. If you feel like insulting me go ahead, you are not the first one and for sure not the last one.
You press on the black symbol on the left side of the window you are typing and then on Quotation mark and then " "Quote ".
Very neat! Haven't seen this function on many forums--usually it's built into the highlight or left-click, I really feel that this really works better!
The "TL;DR" is at the beginning here because this all boils down to one point:
Most of the disagreement we seem to be having is coming from the fact that you don't exactly understand what I'm saying and we both proceed to take offence to each other.
I'll start off properly by saying I appreciate that you gave advice to the OP.
My counter-point was full of flowery language, so I can see why it'd be hard to understand. I'll clarify: I was absolutely being passive-aggressive at the end, because I fully took in a hostile tone from you. If you say that wasn't your intention I'll choose to believe you, and do my best to back down a little.
You are very wrong if you think that survivor would ever do anything that harms them and benefits you out of good heart. The correct answer is even: They are not able to do this!
Problem: more assumptions. You assume I only want what's best for me, which is a fair thought to have. It is an incorrect assumption. I want survivors to play the game, if they don't then there is no game. On the other hand, I also want matches to be balanced.
If both sides aren't of comparable skill, then it isn't really a game.
Like you see I say I am not sure if I understand you correctly, because your style of writing is very strange and difficult to understand. But you go full passiv-aggressive mode and twist it like I am attacking you.
For future reference: Your choice in words when translated to English was aggressive, and I responded accordingly. It's interesting to know that apparently you didn't mean it that way. And you don't understand most of what I'm saying, which pains me.
One day when you're better at the language you can look back and understand it a bit more, if you'd care to do so.
There are not enough killer in red ranks!
I'm aware. I've been getting their run-off, leftovers, extras, whatever way I can phrase it that translates correctly.
I know there aren't enough. I'm not deranking with the intention of getting easier opponents, but I am assuming that when I do derank I will face easier opponents and go back up, as the game intends.
That doesn't happen.
Instead, I end up with more red ranks and hover around rank eight.
Sorry, I dont understand what you are writting at all! Are you calling me a quitter?
I'll do my best to be extremely clear for this specific portion, for the one and only insult that I gave you in the entire back-and-forth:
I said you came across as the kind of person who has no values that they will stand by.
It had nothing to do with in-match behavior, but it's neat how you took it that way and tried to turn it around. Very chic, but ultimately irrelevant and inapplicable.
If that description of you isn't true, than all the better. I'd prefer if you were an upstanding person who stands by their principles rather than backing down from the slightest provocation with a huff and a "I'm better than this," without actually internalizing anything from the clash of ideals.
I'll judge by the angered reply that you are morally upright and willing to stay with it. You're better for it.
First: You did not try it. You are just saying stuff with no weight to it.
I am telling you that I would not change my mind. I enjoy talking with people--it's one of my favorite things to do.
If someone's going to be a [BAD WORD], then I'm not going to close the chat because that would mean accepting what they said as "fine."
I'm not taking what they have to say against me personally, but that doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to scorn them for being fools. My very first comment on the matter made that clear: I had no respect for the survivors who felt so insecure in their win that they had to try to devalue their opponents.
And the last part, I dont understand if you insulted me or not, but I am bigger then this anyway.
I'm asking (apparently poorly) why you'd close the chat. Maybe you don't personally, the way you worded it made it seem so, but by closing the chat you implicitly state that what the scumbags said can hurt you, all the while ignoring everyone else who just wants to be friendly, or gain advice, or any number of other innocuous things. Maybe you don't value that. Something to think on, I suppose.
Also:
You are speaking so arrogant it pains me to read it.
"You keep saying that word. I'm fairly certain it does not mean what you think it does."
(I'm thinking the translation has some subtleties that aren't coming across when the word changes to English, because you aren't using it correctly half the time. Feel free to look into that, I guess? Find an additional word to use or something, whatever makes you happy, I guess--this isn't the figurative hill I die on, just thought you'd like to improve your grasp of the language..)

You have a very ignorant opinion, you want the game to adapt to your taste without adapting yourself.
don't want to be in red ranks, because I don't want to play against red rank players.
That means you dont want challanging games you want just games that makes fun for you. Every single person playing this game wants to have fun, unfortunatly there are toxic survivors whos fun is to make you not have fun. If every killer can choose noone would want to play against those extremly good survivors, but someone has to.
I don't mind losing, I allowed myself to de-rank to green with no loss of sleep or pride
If I understand correctly you are abusing the current ranking system be deranking on purpose to play in lower ranks where people are less skillful. Did you ever thought about people in lower ranks also dont want a smurfing killer as opponent? You are just focusing what is good for you and you dont think that those "fun" games are very frustrating for the people you are playing against.
I notice you ignored the comment about the matchmaking test.
I did not ignore anything you just did not say anything of value.
By the by, it's not an irrational expectation to think the winning party shouldn't tell the losing party to kill themselves. Closing the chat isn't addressing the problem, it's actively enabling it, and I enjoy talking with the better people of this game far too much to let someone who is clearly in the wrong dictate what I do. That's quitter talk.
I dont know who you think I am, but I am a killer main Rank 1 and I just play any swf team. I have seen more toxic comments, insults, death threats, cheating-accusations and harassment with friend invites and profil spam. What made you think that I think beeing toxic is ok? If you cant handle it just close the chat! The only reason you are not doing it is because of your pride. Just close it for a week and after 1 week think about reopening it or not. The answer will be shocking.
I don't know how to clip specific pieces of a post to reply to them piecemeal, so I'll just do it sequentially:

I dont want to hurt your feelings but you and many people here are allergic to losing. Losing a game or 100 games does only one thing it teaches you your mistakes which makes you better in return. By winning games you will not get as many skill as by losing them and recognizing your mistakes. If you are not red rank it means you have room to grow. Just accept it and grow and dont try to secure kills on the hook but try to hunt as much as possible. That is what every good killer main did. If you cant handle the post game chat then turn it off. If someone is toxic to you in the match just hook them when you can and dont hit their body or face camp them just leave them be, show them that you are a bigger person then them.
But again too many people on both sides have egos to big to fit even into Red Forest.
You're misunderstanding something fundamental.
I don't want to be in red ranks, because I don't want to play against red rank players.
The way that people play at red ranks is entirely unappealing--I prefer games where people actually engage with the content, rather than rush past it. It's why I don't give a [BAD WORD] about ranking up besides the achievement.
So why am I still going against players who are above my rank-rated "level in skill"? I don't mind losing, I allowed myself to de-rank to green with no loss of sleep or pride, I just didn't realize that "killer" means "spectator" in five matches of seven regardless of rank.
I notice you ignored the comment about the matchmaking test. You need to validate your opinion, I understand--in return I'll validate mine: Playing against survivors who want fair, challenging games is a beautiful experience. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to drown my chair in sweat for every single win.
No, No, I tried this myself. At rank twelve I was fairly consistently still going against red ranks who ran toolboxes/Prove Thyself/Streetwise/map offering, finished gens in six minutes or less, and the obligatory "gg ez kill yrslf," at the end from the worst of them.
Classy.
So, uh when does the OP and I get survivors at our skill level, exactly?

I don't get what bots have to do with this, I'm just highlighting my concern about the lack of variety of what survivors and killers can use in high-rank games.
As a person who hates "the meta" of any game with a burning passion, I agree completely. I don't want to play games that are cookie-cutter [BAD WORD], just because that's what people are used to and think is best--shaking things up in a game is healthy, and when it comes down to it, I'm okay handing off sweat squads to sweaty killers who enjoy that sort of thing.
I'm no Hans or Frans, I'm not going to "pump myself up" with perks I don't want to use to play in a way that I don't enjoy. I'd rather face survivors (or killers, in the times I play the other role) who want to try their own fun stuff and work against each other to both do our best. Playing under MMR actually let me do that for once, and you bet your pointy keister I want to do that again.
It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth to see the same thing over and over--you're playing a game! Have fun, live a little!Whatever. Rant said, point made. -

Oh my god I know it's so annoying.
Autodidact? No skillchecks.
Prove Thyself? Discordance.
Stealth? Doctor.
MOM? They for SOME reason have Forced Penance.
Inner Strength? Undying and Thrill. Together.
Hey, don't make fun of my Forced Penance, it's what I had, and it's working out to be pretty clutch.

I feel like that's how MOST games of DBD go. Somehow they know what you're trying to do, and will make it hard as possible.
Me, playing a normal game: "Here's some Rank 20 survivors!"
Me, trying to get Adept Legion: "Here's some high rank survivors!"
Me, trying to use 4 med kits: "Oh, did you say you wanted to play against PLAGUE"
... I'd apologize for playing Plague when I see a lobby full of medkits, but I told myself I'd Adept her, and at this rate it's getting pretty stupid.

I’ve read some posts of killers saying that they’re having a harder time in their matches cause of the mmr change. Does that mean they actually have experienced survivors with knowledge and know how to play efficiently? Does that mean I can come back from my 2 month break to solo que not having to worry about the 2 claudettes urbaning around corners?
I don't know what their problem was, I had a great time as killer. Had two adepts, would have had three if Plague's emblems made any kind of sense. No tunneling, no camping, able to engagingly interact with survivors, everyone getting a fair amount of points, the works.
I don't think you understand the euphoria it brought me to not have to be a spectator in my own game just because I'm playing The Shape with all his perks at level one--to be able to move around the map in Tier one for half the game, scaring the [BAD WORD] out of survivors and all around making sure everyone has a good time.
It's not like I just crushed them and ended the game two minutes in like I know some people were! They were able to run loops, complete gens, try their hand at mindgames--it was adorable. One game they locked themselves in a hard three-gen against a high-mobility killer, in another their teammates killed themselves, and in the aforementioned Myers match they almost got down to one generator!
TL;DR: I had a blast playing killer, and I had just enough control over the match to ensure that everyone was having a good time. Which, to be frank, is what I want from this game. 10/10, would play under MMR overlords again.
You missed the chance if you didn't play, though. You'll have to wait for MMR to actually come out properly. -

Would you really tho
Yes. Why else would I suggest it in such a supporting tone?
If I don't do anything, I should expect stagnation.
So don't give sass, all "wink, wink, you wouldn't do anything because nothing will actually get done, knowwhatimean, nudge, nudge." It's insulting to the both of us.
I said it, I meant it. At the very least it'd be present in both spots, where more people can make a stink about it--anyone with authority on this forum looking to remove either one for being a duplicate would see it and the content therein.
Thus, a fix. Because we want garbage elements of maps fixed, don't we?

Its probably because the design for said killers are not very great, add-ons should improve the killers strength, and not be Rule no.2 on Pig that literally does more harm than good
It is kind of a mystery as to how it's supposed to indicate a change to the rules of the game, when all it really does is change nothing fundamental in the killer's playstyle.
Please fix some of Amanda's addons when you go for a pass, devs. Please.

Yeah object hitboxes are really bad in DBD.
They are not well done at all, this is nothing new unfortunately. If you post that in bugs, and get enough upvotes, and like 30 other people post the game bug; then maybe they will possibly fix that by waiting until the day comes coldwind maps get reworked and patch that one out but make new broken object boxes in it's place.
That's what happened with every other map lol.
Wasn't Coldwind getting a pass soon? Might get fixed soon-ish (like, before five years) if it's put there, so, uh. Go for it?
I mean, that requires having faith in them, sure, but it's not like it hurts to try? -
I had that before MMR, I fail to see the problem.
-
Try reporting it in the section for bugs, m'dude--you'll have more luck there.
-
Someone's probably said it already, but new The Game hates both sides, offering a terrifying advantage to either depending on how it is played--the breakable walls can become deathtraps in many, many places and there is an astounding amount of safe loops present.
The map is small, and killers can be very oppressive if they play the map well. Some killers have devastating pressure (smart Trappers, Hags, competent Nurses, etc.) and can completely lock down half the map, stalling survivor progress to nil.
On the other flipper, survivors can make the map a nightmare to patrol if they keep pressure on and distract the killer for very specific generators. It helps that many killer players have so, so many problems dealing with the amount of pallets present on the map.

Get some help, dude. It's okay to talk to a friend, take a break, whatever you need. Just please don't do this to yourself.
And please get some clothes on Rin's uncomfortably bare self, she looks way too young for that level of nudity. -

To be fair, you pretty much need pop, corrupt, ruin and some combination therein as killer.
You just can't compete against decent survivors otherwise; it's not that killers want to use these boring perks either, it's just they HAVE to.
Laughs in the few matches I've had so far in the new MMR
But yeah, at higher rankings and unfortunate amount of killers have to use specific perks to game the system--not necessarily those perks, but the higher you get the more game tends to become homogenous.
S'why I personally prefer middle ranks.

don't give them ideas
Dear God, what have I done?
In all seriousness, I seriously dou--actually, I'm not going to tempt fate, point taken.
-
New change: Trapper now has a power gauge! Each trap set completely depletes it, you may only have four traps active at a time, and the gauge takes seventy seconds to recharge!
Edit: I'm clarifying, this's sarcastic--I'm aware that it's not a great change.
Still, the thought made me laugh, so I thought I'd share. -

She has counters.
With what I assume was joking comments earlier, I'm actually scared that you're joking now.
... Unless you weren't joking, in which case I genuinely feel bad for you and want to help you in your difficulty with reading context clues.
Clarifying for the Mods: not an insult, just trying to be sympathetic but still sounding like a [BAD WORD], sorry, sorry...

well, sometimes losing a chase is always good, (it doesn't make you bad like many survivors will try to say you are), you just have to remember to keep good gen pressure, you never want to commit too much on the survivors and remember it is ok to leave the survivors
I appreciate that you're trying to be helpful, but we're talking "not as good" as in "could struggle against red ranks sweating really hard for the win and get 3k."
There's not much I can do with a killer I don't play as much against those same kinds of red ranks. There's a certain point where I don't care to try and three gens popping at the end of the first chase with another popping during the unhook is exactly that point. If they want to play like they're against top tier players, that's fine, I just won't engage with them.
I'm told by survivors that that's the most despicable thing that I can do--it gets me the most death threats, actually.
I'm willing to wait for another match, I just don't want to.
Thus, cheating with NOED to punish them for going too fast. -
I run Prove Thyslef for the singular purpose of tricking other survivors into doing co-op actions for challenges--I feel that it's not necessary most other times, seeing as the BP is additive (towards the cap, which I can get to without it) and It's kind of cruel if the killer isn't very good.
-
NGL, I, a fairly consistent rank six, was seriously considering adding NOED to some of my builds because I'm tired of the generators getting done in six minutes or less because I'm better at playing some killers than others--hopefully with MMR in place I won't have to.
Not expecting it'll work, though. -

if it makes you feel better, they only just turned it on for MM purposes at like 2pm EST today. Before that it was good ol' pip-and-pray, which is when your Pig games would've taken place.
Kinda, actually, yeah.
Still disgusting, but maybe I'll actually get more than two games where I'm not just an interactive spectator.

@Beefmur said:
if you sweat you go against sweaty survivors is fine the balance isnt fine
I'd ask if you're okay because that sentence makes no sense, but I know from experience that you're not okay. I hope you feel better soon.
I question if MMR is on, because I had eight back-to-back matches with Amanda last night (getting rid of her bloodpoint offerings before prestige, but that's not the point), all of which were against red ranks clearly above my skill level. No hooks, less than 10k BP every match, generators done in less than six minutes every time.
At some point I should be going against people who aren't legitimate high-tier red ranks, right? No getting ran for ninety-some seconds while three generators pop simultaneously, yeah? No? No.
So how many matches do I have to sit in a corner before I can actually play the game in a way that's not ineffectually running around the map chasing people off gens for six minutes before going around breaking pallets while the survivors go work their glutes in the exit gates at full health? -
It's not AI, actually.
It's a heavily (and I mean heavily) scripted entity.
Edit: To clarify, I'm all for your idea, just thought I'd point out how much it'd take the devs to do considering it's not in the game in any meaningful way.
-
Only connection errors.
If I have to leave for an irl emergency, I give the killer a free kill out of sympathy or sit in the corner respectively.
-
Over half a web being Mother's Helpers six 50s in a row begs to differ on the whole "random" aspect.
Tier three Agitation sixteen times after I've purchased it repeatedly really brings it into question.
I'm filled with hate.
