As a killer main, I generally dispise overpowered perks. Literally cant even bring myself to run pentimento. I like to synergize with unlikely/unpopular stuff.
I didn't like jagged compass until I experimented with it just a little bit. Now my new favorite combo of crap (just discovered today) is hangman's trick/jagged compass/mad grit/gift of pain.
Might switch out gift of pain for something else. I find myself purposely not going for scourge hooks early on, in order to create more scourge hooks with jagged compass.
This build gets nuts after you've gotten like 4 extra scourge hooks
Edit: maybe just aggitation as a replace for GoP?

Bro, for real. It's a ######### when you feel like you have to fill a perk slot with somethign, specifically just for hunting down the last hidey bastard.
Other side of that coin, I've been one of 2 survivors remaining who is actually trying, meanwhile the other survivor DOES ABSOLUTELY ######### ALL. The other survivor clearly just wanting to wait you out so they can have a chance at the hatch, because ######### you, they have no obligation to you. And granted, if it's unsafe, I don't think you should just rush in and save me if it's just going to clearly kill you in the process, but do somedamnthing! so help me if I spectate, just to watch my sub 4000pts teammate, at end game twitch around behind a wall by a corner like an #########, just because you think it's funny to watch the killer struggle to find your ass...

My opinion is that while insidious can be fun sometimes, to me is just kind of a waste of a perk slot in general. I got hunting to do, and I feel like I'm losing precious time just standing around. Monitor however has some okayish shenanigans potential.
Overall I don't particularly like running either, but insidious is the for sure no-go.

I mean your always gonna get salt for crap like that. They don't understand that It wouldn't feel so much like tunneling if they'd just wait the extra 15 seconds it would take for you to sufficiently walk far enough away that downing immediately again wouldn't be a problem. But what you have to understand about swf is that they need to completely overwhelm you and make you taste salt, and from that overwhelming desire rarely comes patience. Honestly probably just a sucky SWF team if they were so easily overpowered by wraith. :/

Reviving thread because it deserves it.
To add, along with IT, there should also be a couple of losers for survivors.
Obviously you'd start with bev, but which guy?
Bill, Ben, richie? Probably bill cause he's the main guy, but any would work.
You'd also have cool ass perks such as:
*hi-ho silver
*eat battery acid, you slime!
*winter fire
*maturin's blessing
*placebo effect
*rock war!

*He could disguise himself as a participating survivor
*can distort what survivors see by creating illusions.
*can utilize/puppet the corpses of survivors he's mori'd to whatever advantage that might buy him.
*generate trap balloons that if popped by survivor notifiy killer/causes hemorrhage
*flash deadlights and traumatize victim survivor. That survivor now suffers from horribly difficult skill checks/slowed repair and cleansing time, until another survivor clears them up with a passionate kiss.

Just keeps sliding back. Could be 98% done and if killer chases you away, it'll just keep losing. Provides incentive for survivor to keep toiling away pm unless they can actually see you or are using spine chill/premonition.

Actually We just got freddy about a month ago. And to add, freddy/Quentin perks were standard default perks before they added the characters. For a long while that's what I assumed blood warden was. The icon for BW even had a depiction of blocked gates instead of freddy. Which of course was tweaked when they added him

I understand. If I may, I would like to offer some advice.
I've been playing for two years now. On almost every Killer, top tier Survivors WILL toy with you. Eventually, they get to be good enough at the game that they don't really feel any sort of apprehension around the Killer, which allows them to make extremely risky, but ultimately excellent plays.
The absolute best thing you can do in that sort of situation is to keep a clear head. Look at it as a learning experience, as hard as that may be. Watch what they do, how they move. Next time, they may find you are better prepared than they anticipated.
Personally, I main Legion. Legion is NOT a strong Killer, especially in the top tiers of play. I am pretty used to that sort of play at this point, and to be clear, there isn't anything wrong with it. I have found that while they may not be apprehensive of Legion, they will absolutely be apprehensive of an unpredictable player. So, I try to surprise them. I make my pathing weird, I slug for two downs, then when they think I'll keep slugging, I go back to hooking immediately and catch them off guard. Sometimes, you gotta get in their heads.
If you'd like anymore tips, I can try to give some pointers on my stream tomorrow, if you'd like.

For the long answer, the reason why you got so many points is because of Late Game Actions. Hooks that occur after the Exit Gates are opened are worth MUCH more than hooks before the gates were opened. Additionally, due to the Survivors sort of meme'ing around, you liekly got a lot of hits, which probably maxed out your score in the Brutality category.
You also probably threw a lot of bottles, since you were Clown, and that probably maxed out your Deviousness category.
Hunting category is pretty easy to max out, so I'm sure you got that too.
The only category you didn't get as many points as you could've was in Sacrifice, because obviously, you didn't sacrifice everyone.
Also, a 2K Average (or something close to it) is what the Devs consider to be the ideal game, and therefore, what they attempt to keep in mind while balancing.
Dang. Thats what It felt like. Living survivors made me sad. But even 2 kills I got were undeniably bittersweet. When the survivors are this this good and, this coordinated its no contest. It felt like they orchestrated it. They find out what you are, immediately understand your limitations, and f**k all after that. You're a toy now. Its thier game and you're only chance at a real kill is stick close to a hooked vic and feel campy. and by God I tried, but I always walked away a little to far trying to lure out the rescue squad, because too far away was the only way to shake em the hell out.

I get one on the hook toward the end of the timer. And they gotta bookit or otherwise they die.

So my point is, I'm 2 for 4 but my score is just short of 31k. Furthermore their scores don't suck, but aren't close to mine. im just sorta lost. I feel like I didn't do all that great only getting 2 and all, and they certainly commanded #########. Whats is this? Was i actually good? Or is this merely a product of them dragging out the game?
Noted. This is a rated M game, but if you post the word "shizz" in the forums you get [BAD WORD] filter instead of being treated like adults who say "shizz" 25 times a day.

Feel no shame for your camping habits. Its a perfectly legitimate strategy to end a chase early because another survivor might notice the beginning of the chase and is gonna assume you're gonna follow through on the other guy and leave an opening for the unhook. Theres something particularly exciting about the ol' "lol nope, switcheroo and subsequent, gotcha!"
