150+ p3 bloodwebs in 4/5 days?
Do you even have a life?
Do i need one?
-
Yes, i also don't understand the lack of event items during this event, especially when we get cakes though in every tree.
150+ Bloodwebs at Prestige 3 and i have about 10 of each item including the ones i've looted out of chests. It's stupid.
-
I love bond. Great for getting the killer off me by sandbagging those on a gen.
-
Noed is one of the easiest perks to counter.
Gitgud and do bones.

How is this fair
If an offering cuts a game in half, then the boundries to pip should also be lowered to compensate.
The fact that survivors depip when a killer tunnels them with a mori is ridiculous.
Rework moris or lower the boundries to pip.
You could always gitgud and run the killer for 5 gens. If his tunnelling, you have enough pallets, loops and windows to do that.

I've been through at least 20 webs on my main survivor, and I've gotten exactly one anniversary flashlight and one anniversary medkit.
I've went through over 100 bloodwebs and have about 5 of each.

Adrenaline.
People use BT for farm unhooks.
Adrenaline helps me. BT helps others.

Why does it matter? Do bones.

Try it yourself then. Play by the rules you made for killer yourself. Let's see how you perform.
I believe Hexy did this and followed a guide of what his not allowed to do based on what survivors believe.
It was rough.
-
Gitgud. Literally have all the crowns already. It ain't that hard.
-
- The crowns don't disappear after someone else has picked them up. It just spawns somewhere else randomly on the map. Of course your not going to get a crown for suiciding on hook.
- Who the ######### plays to sit on gens? How is that even fun?
- Event items have always had a high rarity.
- Well, i agree with you there.
- If the killer is trying too hard, then just die and move onto your next game. I haven't seen anything different from normal play to be honest.
- Meh. Who cares if they leave through hatch.

What argument? That is literally the only thing i said lol.

Go apply for a job at BHVR if the code is so easy and you can so clearly fix it. If you can easily sort out their problems I'm sure they'd love to hire you.
Imagine wading through that mess of spaghetti code. I'd quit.

This event is so damn lackluster. Especially when you compared it with previous events like luna or bbq. And lets not even compare dbd with other games cuz that's going to be embarrassing.
I have ZERO event vibe. Nothing. No atmosphere, noone motivated in my friendlist to grind the event, lackluster minimum effort event cosmetics (I call it the Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v crown) which are looking more silly than good. Like duh, make it St least usable on any custom head piece, it's floating anyway so no issue with different cosmetic...
Idk, maybe I'm just burned out and sick of dbd with all its issues. But I had more fun and vibes with the BBQ event than with this.
It's because they are afraid of taking risks and trying something new, so they make it simple to prevent backlash from players not enjoying an event.
-
I just don't see the point. I've never seen preventing the ECG from happening actually help anyone in the hours i've played, only dying or giving me a free kill.

The latter part I know, but I've seen Doctor, Myers and Leathercamp try to open the doors before and couldn't, even though all gens were done. What made it impossible for them to open the gates?
If the hatch is already closed, the gates can't be opened by the killer.

I didn't lose. I escaped afterwards. You clearly missed the point.

So thats entirely your fault. Better learn how to play killer instead of using false excuses for your lack of skill.
Such skill in holding down M1.

I don't do gens. I go and run the killer while people do them for me.

you could of done an alternative and go to the other gate unless it was one of those maps where both gates are on the same wall👍.
Wasn't an option. I was out of resources to help myself. I only ran towards the door when i had the chance because i knew someone was opening it. I didn't expect it to be 99'd and for them to be on the other side of the map at the other door.

Winning isn’t everything you know there’s more to life then that we win some and we lose some.
It's not about winning. But i shouldn't be forced to lose to a bad move.
-
@NinjaDette1 said:
So you want survivors to just stand still at the gates and kill them?😂.
I'm a survivor main. I want to leave without being killed. Not ######### over because some idiot decided to 99 the door and run away, leaving me with no exit from the chase.
As someone who plays survivor, i still have seen no reason to do this within my games.
-
@Nikotiini said:
-Blood Warden
-Avoiding The Endgame Collapse timer
Those are the reasons why people 99 the gates
There is little to no risk of Blood Warden even been used by the killer. Besides, No-one 99'd doors when Freddy was introduced and was only a thing when ECG was.
Avoiding the ECG does nothing. If i'm caught, i'm still dead within two minutes so you have to make a move in a short amount of time anyway, regardless if the ECG timer is slowed. You have plenty of time to make a move within the time frame.

If you think Dead Hard is one of the worst perks in the game, you're using it incorrectly. Dead Hard to dodge a hit sucks. Dead Hard for distance to get to a vault or window is arguably the most powerful and uncounterable perks in the game.
In it's current dedicated state? No.
I don't run any exhaustion perks because they are all terrible.
-
- Play Leatherface
- Try get them to all work on the same gen by hitting the gen
- Rev your chainsaw around to appear friendly
- Rev your chainsaw, turn around and take them all down in one swing
- Profit
-
I don't know how you consider Deadhard to be one of the best perks. It works about 10% of the time due to dedicated servers and is predictable.
-
How to fix camping.
Don't get caught.

I don't understand why they don't just replace yellow medkits and flashlights during the event. They are literally the same item.
-
Good. While it looks nice, all indoor maps to date are the worst.
-
Don't worry. They joke about how many bugs are in there game on the new loading screen instead of actually fixing them.
Honestly though, things should be polished before being pushed out so fast that you don't have time to.

Pretty sure they said the cosmetics from the rift would go to the store after 6 months-a year. Could be wrong though.
That's good then since i missed a few.
-
Yeah, i would like some clarification as well.
Quote from Dev's patch notes "We have moved away from exclusive items in recent years and want to continue the trend of making cosmetics available to everyone equally".
They gave away my event items for free that i earned, so it's only fair to everyone that they do the same with these.
That said, cosmetics on the battlepass are locked behind a paywall and are only available for a limited time. Would also like to know if i can purchase sets after.
But highly doubt they will give us an answer and just do what they want while giving poor excuses afterwards.
-
Yep. For some reason they make them super rare to get which i don't understand.

Back in the day, it was common that a Wraith would spam his bell, or a billy would spam his chainsaw to announce that it was a farming round.
So, In honor of the event, I thought I would do that again. But everytime the survivors were confused.
So, is farming etiquette dead or are there just a lot of noobs who don't know about it?
I absolutely despise farming games.
No fun in vs'ing a killer who plays like that.

It was an issue before, but it seems that, especially in the last week or so, it has gotten way out of hand. I main survivor but I play as a killer, too and no matter what, I try to play fair. Camping and tunneling isn't playing fair at all. In fact, I see it as cheating. If you cannot get sacrifices without playing fairly, then you shouldn't be playing at all. I've been saving screen shots and gameplay of anyone using these tactics and I'm seriously considering putting everyone on blast.
Anyone trying to defend these tactics is just as guilty. I don't care what you say, it's unfair and uncalled for.
I stopped reading as soon as you said tunnelling and camping is cheating.

Survivors abusing pallets and palet stuns is getting on my nerves. I just had a match with a 4-stack swf, who abused flashlights and stuns. I am a killer main and I just don't know if I should continue playing when devs give survivors OP stuff like flashlights and pallets everywhere. People are abusing pallets and gen rushing.
And when I down a survivor. Its impossible to reach a hook. They sabo one hook and the dead survivor wiggle out before I reach the second one. Wiggle timer is too short you have to use Iron Grasp just to be able to hook people.
Im chasing a survivor through dozen pallets and a dozen flashlight blinds. Other 3 finishes the gens in 2 minutes. I grab the downed survivor, they sabo hook take hits and bam 4 man going out to write 'gg ez'.
And they cry about camp&tunnel, of course im going to secure my kill its a valid strategy. How else am i supposed to get kills in this game.
Maps are designed for survivors and gen rushing tools they have are insane. And they speak about buffing solo survivors instead of nerfing SWFs. I don't get why BHVR is so survivor sided.
Seriously survivors crying when they have so many strong tools to their side is just pathetic. Im sorry but BHVR made this game for survivor to escape. Not for killers to have any fun in the game.
You have perks counters to these.
Lightborn or Franklin's for flashlights.
Enduring,Spirit Fury or brutal strength for pallets.
Agitation or iron grasp for longer carry travel time.
ezpz game.

my god its a free event. Free bloodpoints, new offerings that give bonus bloodpoints, free outfits, free heads on most characters. Can you just shut up
Doesn't matter if it's free or not. The game is plagued with bugs and they don't bother to fixing anything because players like you think it's okay.

I mori one of the 4 swf, and to grief me they held the game hostage. All weeabo versions of their characters as their Xbox gamer profile pics.
Is it just me or is SWF ruining this game and adding toxicity to the community?
Please just make a separate playlist for SWF and another playlist that disables inviting friends.
Please devs hear me PLEASE
How did they hold the game hostage?

I just played the game for 3 weeks, I learned everything but still didn't understand that big toxicity. There's always a toxic person in every match, teabagging, flash spamming is eveywhere, there is also a guide called "How to be a toxic survivor on DBD?" Why? Why so toxic man? And whose fault is that? I reported at least 5 person who has toxic behaviour, none of them banned I think. Whose fault is that?
I don't consider teabagging or flashlight spamming toxic.
One is an crouch animation and one is a noise.
It's only toxic depending on your reaction to it.
The only thing i consider toxic is the salty end game chat. Just say gg and move on.

You can tunnel whenever you like.
There are no rules you need to follow.

Make as many assumptions as you'd like about me lol. Running out into a dead zone so I can run around it to avoid stepping in it when he can easily cut through it to zone me? So it's either give him an easy hit/down so I avoid the cage or run him as long as I can and be sent to the very imbalanced cage when I will inevitably go down lol.
So tired of everybody's "just avoid it 4head" mentality. That's literally the stupidest ######### thing I've read in these forums.
That is the only assumption i can make since you're portraying yourself as an inexperienced player.
Your perks are their to aid you, not hold your hand. If you can't play without perks, then the only logical assumption is that you are not very confident in your own skills as a player.
That fact that you think it's unbalanced is laughable. I have had no problem avoiding it, running from loop to loop, and escaping as had many others. The real issue here is that you believe you're better then you actually are, and relying on your perks has obviously deluded you from the clear fact that your not very good, hence why you're complaining about something so trivial.

Adrenaline is hardly a second chance perk. Think of it more as a reward for completing all the generators.
Think of cages then as more of a reward for the killer for you aimlessly running into his ground ability.
It can be avoided and therefore a counter to cages.
-
Sorry, but that is too hard for me to read. Please use paragraphs.
-
It's their spaghetti code.
If they change one thing, it breaks multiple things.
They don't know how to fix bugs without breaking something else.
-
It's a casual game, not a competitive one.
There is very little skill involved when playing both killer and survivor.
If your looking for 'skillshots' then your looking in the wrong place.

Right ill just crouch over his trail when im in a chase. That does sound easy enough thanks dawg. EZ counter.
You can avoid running into it in a chase in the first place. The optimal path isn't always the correct one.
If you're that incompetent to see what's directly in front of you, and have no map awareness, then continue to be bad at the game and come to the forums to complain every time your poor plays get you killed instead of learning the mechanics.
If you rely on perks to win, then in my opinion, you're a bad player.
