It's counterable. You cannot be caged if you don't run into his ground ability. You can also crouch over it like Hag traps.
The notion that Nurse is still the strongest killer is also wrong.

You're entitled to your opinion, just like everyone on here is.
It's not an opinion.
- Noed can be countered by 5 breaking totems. It can be counter before and after it's active. It's on the survivors to counter the perk, instead of refusing to do totems then complain about it afterwards. If your even a slightly competent survivor, no-one should die to Noed.
- Tunnelling is a non-issue. If you get killed early, queue up for the next game instead of waiting around for 10 minutes to abuse the killer in end game chat. You have pallets and windows at your disposal to run a killer for 5 gens and still escape. Learn loops.
- DS is a non-issue. You can counter DS by not tunnelling the unhooked survivor and chase the person who got unhooked. You can also slug, which is a great way to apply pressure. The only issue with DS, is the DS + Locker tech.
- Camping is a non-issue. Remain on the hook for the remaining time to give your fellow teammates time to do gens and leave. You can die and move onto your next game instead of waiting 10 minutes to abuse the killer in end game chat. BT also exists to counter camping.
These aren't issues. These are low experienced players complaining about perks when they die or lose.

Yeah, imagine a forum having discussions about actual issues affecting gameplay.
- NOED.
- Tunneling.
- DS.
- Camping.
- Bugs.
- Servers.
Imagine the audacity.
Only two of those six topics are actual issues.

It's really not that hard to counter them, just know what they are and don't chase through them. You can run bamboozle if you hate them that much. Tons of killers have built-in powers to stop them.
The alternative to safe pallets is the disaster that is Hawkins, where the killer gets a free hit at half the pallets and they are only useful to throw and keep running. I don't even try to loop on Hawkins, I just throw every pallet in a chase like a bot because most of them are that unsafe.
But that defeats the purpose of chasing a survivor. Why should i have to ignore a survivor due to a window? Why should i have to run a certain perk when it is only a few maps that have these loops? They are way too strong and i know this from playing survivor and abusing it, as well as playing killer and hating it. They shouldn't exist.
Hawkins on the other hand has some safe pallets, and some great loops as well if you know what you're doing. Having unsafe pallets doesn't mean you should be dropping them instantly either. You should be using them to stun the killer for the escape. Just because you can't loop it, doesn't mean it's not useful.

PC
Playing Deathslinger on a farm map.
Survivor attempted to blind and was stuck with permanent blind, until said survivor attempted to blind me again in which i was broke out of it.
-
Problem i have is survivors 99'ing the doors to cheese EGC.
Doors should start automatically regressing if not touched over a percentage.
-
This is literally why i don't AFK on gens. It's boring, and honestly don't know how players think a 4 minute game holding M1 on a gen is a good gaming experience.
The only fun part about playing survivor is getting chased which is why i refuse to do gens. Its not fun for me and it's not fun for the killer.

@Actionjacksn said:
Why they are not game exploits when the killer have to leave a survivor completely because it is impossible to catch the survivor?
Because exploiting is using a bug or a glitch to gain an advantage.
God loops have an intended use, otherwise they would of been removed already.

agreed , as i said in other posts already, this dc punishment is a joke. cause innocent people get punished, because the game has so many bugs and connection issues. plus the guilty people will just keep suiciding on first hook, so the whole dc penatly system is for nothing.
Any MOBA has a 30 minute ban. Doesn't matter if your PC crashed, your internet disconnected, game crashed etc.
You're lucky you get 5 minutes.
Better to have a DC penalty then no penalty at all imo.

Ebony Moris should only allow kills after 2nd hook. Keys should take the same time to open the hatch as a gate, without saving progress if you jump off. Ebony Moris still save you time and a hook as killer, and keys simply create a 3rd gate the killer would need to protect
You know if mori's ever got announced or was in the PTB as this change, you know your going to have a mori every single match until the change right? Hope your ready for that.

It's nothing like DBD and will have absolutely no effect on this game.
It's only there because the campaign for RE3 isn't very long, so it's a filler.

Yes I agree. The fact that you only main killer is making you narrow-minded.
When I play killer I don't chase barely unhooked survivors unless I have no other option.
I find healthy survivors who are rushing gens and injure or hook them so they waste time healing and unhooking rather than doing gens.
Cause yknow.. I don't play like every hag main. I want more than 2 kills per game.
I guess in a camper's mind that strategy just doesn't make sense so my advice is being wasted on you.
Sorry but i don't need any advice, i have enough experience on my own to understand both sides.
The only evidence you have provided me with is that a Hag places 5 traps around a single hook, tunnels and camps. This is low level killer play, which means you most likely sit at low levels and have a low amount of hours.
Telling me that Hags power revolves around tunnelling and camping shows that you have a low understanding of how the killer works, which also says you have low game time and don't play enough killer, that in turn shows you most likely a survivor main.
That fact that you complain about camping and tunnelling so heavily, also shows that you most likely a survivor main.
You probably shouldn't be responding to me about 'advice' till you have a better understanding of the game.

Hag does tunnel and camp NATURALLY though.
When a survivor gets unhooked 1 of 2 things happen..
1. Hags traps are triggered and she teleports back and tunnels whoever was unhooked.
2. Survivor gets unhooked without triggering traps but hag still runs back over and tunnels whoever was unhooked.
This is the same for red rank hags too
What? Hag doesn't naturally camp and tunnel.
If you're only referring to unhooks then,
- It's not on the Hag if a survivor triggers the trap, it's on the survivor/s. You can't blame the killer for your incompetence to not set of the trap. This is why i stated that MYC has massive value, as you don't need to chase the survivor that was unhooked. You can snowball from this single perk. That said, if the killer does not have MYC, the natural thing to do it chase the injured survivor. They are one hit, the unhooker is two. It's only logical for any killer to chase the guy who is one hit away from being downed.
- Literally every killer does this. You have two players in the vicinity. Hag is no different. As said, the logical decision would be to down the guy who is one hit, not the guy who is two. running back to the hook, she is still only 110% speed. That is plenty of time to get to a loop. If your teammates get you within a few seconds of the Hag leaving to give her enough time to get back to the hook, again, that is on your teammates.
This is the problem with players only playing half the game, only maining survivor or killer gives you no understanding of how to play properly.

I've been in every rank and that's naturally how hags play.
They hook someone and place 3-5 traps around them, PROXY camp, rinse repeat.
Sure, at higher ranks they trap pallets, doorways, gens, and maybe they'll put less traps on hooked survivors but they all have that similar play style of camping and tunneling cause that's exactly what the hags abilities encourage.
If it sounds like anyone's getting defensive or anything at all it's you getting all butthurt and offended that I'm exposing your favorite killer as just a tool used for camping and tunneling.
But Hag doesn't need to tunnel. Not to mention, she's not even a chase killer. Their is no point in tunnelling someone with 110% movement speed. You will be outlooped and outplayed. She is trap reliant. Sure, she can force the direction of which you travel towards traps, but you don't need to tunnel to do it as survivors are predictable.
And Hag doesn't need to camp or proxy camp, as a single trap can do it for her. You also get massive value from MYC as Hag not being in range of the hook. 3-5 traps makes no different to a single trap, as survivors will just crouch over them anyway and is just a waste of potential to snowball.
Not sure how her abilities encourage you to when it really encourages you not to. I've never seen a Hag play similar to what your describing at red ranks so if they are, they are not playing Hag correctly.
Regardless. tunnelling or camping with Hag will lose you the game due to your limited movement speed and not utilising your power. You will be gen rushed. It's a simple as that.

The real question is, why do people main?
I main certain killers or survivors but i don't main either side.
Players need to stop playing half the game.

"it's clear you don't know what you're talking about"
Angry Hag main spotted
Angry rank 20 entitled survivor main spotted.
If your games against Hag is tunnelling and camping with 5 traps around your hook, then you have clearly never left brown ranks and don't know what you're talking about.
Going on the defensive immediately after someone argues a point only makes you look silly.
-
On closer inspection, it looked like he hit the top of the hitbox above the tyres because the hitbox is slightly above the model's head. Same reason Huntress used to hit you over the top of gens even though you weren't visible until they enlarged gens.

Here I thought that it was to protect generators. Funny how that style of gameplay has helped me WAY more than trying to find survivors.
I don't mind teabagging and flashlights. A noise spam and an animation spam isn't something to get upset about imo.

Tunnelling and camping is part of the game.
The objective of the killer is to kill all survivors. This means by any means necessary.
Doesn't matter how much money you spend on the game.

Really? I only ask because I hardly ever see a key in any of my games and if I do it is lucky if it gets used at all. lol
Heck most the time my potato....I mean teammates don't do anything but hide and unless I do gens they do not get done so the hatch does not spawn if I get killed. Then even if the hatch spawns believe me I am a moron and never find the thing. lol
I guess it is just my luck the keys don't get used much and sorry it's a problem you see often. I hope it dies down for you. =)
Yeah, it's literally only due to the hatch challenge though.

I mean I get your point but this is the same logic killers use as to why Keys are to strong. It is STILL used and possible.
I mean personally I do not care and let people use whatever because it makes each match fun.
I have to say though killers complain keys are to strong and use the 1 out of 100 game logic. They say well the CHANCE is there the KEY can be used so I guess the fact is there is still a CHANCE the survivors will get head....I mean see Ir Head. Just trying to be funny lol
I mean pointing out the killer logic that keys have a risk of being used and are OP, well Iridescent Heads can be used with Ebony Mori at some point so I guess should be removed or nerfed as well?
As someone who plays killer as well, i don't have an issue with keys either.
Although now that we have hatch escape challenges, having a key every second game is frustrating.
-
Barely see an iri head huntress.
Maybe 1 in 100 games.
-
Increasing bloodpoints won't stop people from dc'ing. Most players don't care about bloodpoints until a new killer/survivor is announced.
Just apply an instant 30 minute ban that most games do. Applying only 5 minutes for your first few dc's is like the devs saying it's okay to dc but only a couple of times.
-
I no longer do gens the majority of the time because the fun part of the game is getting chased.
-
This is why i don't play Myers anymore unfortunately.

Mori cancelling locks the survivor in place.

Thats what BT should do yes. To prevent those 1-IQ-plays from killers. So if you wanna complain, complain about your own kind of players, that force survivors to use these perks.
I tend to find most players use the perk to farm others for the WGLF stacks and safe unhook points, rather then killers forcing its use.
-
Can confirm there are no DC penalties.

Play Trapper and don't set traps.

They should make it so if the killer hooked someone else or they got healed, ds shuts off. Its not anti tunnel. Its still a 2nd chance perk.
Should also disable if the survivor gets in a locker. Getting kind of sick of the locker + DS tech survivors are abusing.

No, shack shouldn’t be the exception.
It’s the killer shack.
Killer. Shack.
It should be DANGEROUS for survivors there.
Not (as another forum user said in a post earlier today) a survivor Vacation Station.
It is threatening, when the basement is there. I think that is the main point of it.
However, basement doesn't always spawn at shack.
-
Because Deathslinger isn't Huntress.
-
No.
But in all honesty, i'd be okay with players always having a 30 minute ban, similar to most mobas when you leave the game.
-
Honestly, all god windows should be removed, with shack being the exception.
-
Toolboxes feel stronger imo.
More focused on speed rather then longevity.
-
Not surprised.
Now that sabo got buffed the radius is 'too big'.
Don't remember it getting changed last chapter when it was 'too big'.
-
I kind of understand why new players would get upset by this, but how don't players have hundreds of addons already?
Get used to it because it ain't going nowhere.

What? Toolboxes got a huge buff. What are you talking about? And who cares if you lose addons. Get more in the bloodweb.

Hear me out here. So kindred basekit, but with 8m killer aura reading (Which is not increased with open handed) would improve the solo queue survivor experience a great deal, and also bring solo queue survivors a tiny bit closer to that of a SWF. Then the game can be balanced with this added information in mind.
Then noed, minus the speed boost would also incentivise survivors to cleanse and find totems, which will slow gens down. Also since everyone knows noed is in play, just make the exposed status be revealed once the final gen is done (or give a totem counter). Thus no one is caught off guard by the presence of noed ,which is a major source of frustration with the perk, and the gens are slowed. Everyone wins!
NOED is not an issue.
Break all totems during match.
Break NOED totem during end game.
Maps with red twine.
Detective's Hunch.
Small game.
Leaving through gates.
Leaving through hatch.
Your eyes.
You have plenty of counters in your arsenal.
How is it that players know and use counters to killer perks (BBQ, Discordance, Spirit Fury to name a few), yet are absolutely brain dead when it comes to NOED?
You should be playing expecting NOED every game, regardless if the killer has it or not.
You do not need to be warned that NOED is active. You do not need a totem counter. You have no excuse as a solo survivor or as a SWF.
It really isn't that hard.

Killer main with almost 3k hours, but good try.
