So either you know you have no valid reason for that opinion or your reasons would discredit yourself. Whatever it is, can't take you serious anymore.
Or because i don't need to explain my opinion to someone that is only going to argue my reasoning. You're clearly not looking for a conversation which is obvious by the way you're trying to argue with me now.
You're not entitled to an explanation and i don't need to give it, and i'm not going to. Get over it, move on and bother someone else.

U r still not explaining your opinion but only keep saying it's fine. Seems more like you don't know by yourself or just simply don't want this perk to become meta. Simply because.
It doesn't matter what my opinion is, that's why it's an opinion. Stop waiting for an explanation so you can tell me how 'my opinion' is wrong, as it's clearly what you are waiting for.

Abused? ######### u talking about, it's more like a meme perk than useful for chases. Rarely saw people saving team mates with that.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/617765#Comment_617765
Explain your opinion. I think it does. And here is why:
To situational, can be easily countered once the killer knows you have that, doesn't give you that much distance, u can't lose the killer with that, saving a team mate with that is more than just situational (swf mandatory imo) and overall it's a meme perk.
It's meant to be a situational perk and i think it is very strong for what it does.

With the advent of dedicated servers things within the matchmaking system might change - right now I personally don't have a problem with where's it at. Most of the matches I am in Ranks are roughly within 4/5 ranks of each other which isn't too bad.
Things like lagswitching are reportable and if you have issues with someone lagswitching in your game OP please report it with video evidence we will be happy to take a look at.
And in answer to your point about the developers being busy - yes they are, that's why we have a community team so that a forum such as this exists.
The keyword here is 'might', which has as much weight as 'might not'.
-
They would probably break 5 other things in the process which we will have to wait a month for them to get fixed.
-
It doesn't need any buffs in my opinion.

Removing ranks is silly, very. Having a company introduce such game mode and take it out, it would be atrocious even if there isn't any particular incentive to win or obtain. I'm also at low red-ranks, don't like it, but that's why I stay kinda away from DbD and other games currently. The section dedicated to DbD is lackluster, and it really seems unfortunate.
Ranked is the ONLY game mode. Removing ranks won't do anything since i have to derank to actually play the game, giving myself an unfair advantage over players with less experience.
That is not fun for a new player trying out the game.
Ranks don't mean anything. You don't get rewarded for being a better player. There are no leader boards. Nothing. A number that means longer wait times and less incentive to play.
The ONLY incentive is to DC because i don't want to play a lobby simulator. I want to actually play the game. I want to queue up without my lobby being random closed and having to start the whole process over and over again.

Roadmap
Listing 'improvement of algorithm' means absolutely nothing to me and could mean anything.
-
M&A, Nurses Calling, MYC and Ruin.
M&A so you have a tiny heartbeat.
Nurses for heal aura and information.
MYC is a no brainer for those that set your trap off while unhooking. While it doesn't always set the trap off, it's still one of the best choices for Hag.
And Ruin, to slow the game down a little bit while your setting up.
My main build. Rank 1 Hag main.
-
Tunnelling is part of the game and sometimes necessary to win as killer.
The timer stopping during chases and in TR is a massive buff to the perk that it doesn't need.
-
Being a rank 1 player, the only reward that players get for hitting rank 1 is longer wait times. There is no incentive to rank up and no reason to, and i think they whole 'rank' should be removed.
Until rank actually means something, there is no reason for it to exist.

Are you on PC? I'm on PS4.
Yes, i'm on PC.
-
I would put Ghostface near bottom tier.
-
No.
And i probably won't be purchasing any new killers until they make something viable, because as it stands, only 3 killers get played at red ranks.
With Nurse, Billy and Spirit being the top, nothing changes every time they add a new mediocre killer.

tbh deep wounds should tick down again since legion was nerfed anyways, mending should not stop the progress and you should be able to go down while mending if you take too much time. The legionpatch was a HUGE buff to BT. It's not borrowed time at all anymore, it's just a free escape now.
I agree with this.
BT should be a tick down.

Sadly, you lose offerings. It's been bugged for ages.
Interesting. I haven't lost any offerings.

I think he definitely should be completely invisible outside of a 32m radius.

They don't need nerfs.

It could be any % of games, but the developers don't tell us because it could be abused!
It's no higher then 40%, so no, it can't be any.
-
You don't depip if someone leaves on the loading screen.
You also don't lose offerings, items, addons etc
-
No.
-
I break totems i see, but i don't exclusively run around looking for them unless i suspect noed.
Noed is usually around the lower ranks, and on killers with no early game.
If you can breakdown what perks they are using throughout the game, you can easily know if the killer has noed or not.
Better safe then raging in end game chat when you lose to it.
Besides, the game is about YOUR survival, not your teams.
-
I believe it's only 40% of all games currently.
-
I wouldn't nerf Adrenaline because it doesn't need to be touched.
-
No.

You do realize that the longer the game lasts the less likely survivors are to...well survive right?
You know the last person to die joins the end game lobby at the same time the killer does right?
So whats stopping that player from saying 'gg'? If i give hatch, then and only then, it's a 'gg'.
-
Because survivors want you to follow their rules and don't understand that you're the killer, not a survivor.
I give a 'ggwp' after every game, win or lose, but i find most survivors won't say it and i wonder what happened to the good sportsmanship that players used to have.
Survivors will complain no matter what you do, so don't waste your time with them.
You will also find that most that complain are survivor mains, and have never touched killer beyond yellow rank.
They just don't understand that their main objective isn't to do gens, but survive.
-
The problem with the ranking system is that there is no incentive to rank up.
The only reward you get for red ranks is longer queue times and harder games.
And i bet the less experienced players love having 7k hour'd players in their grey ranked lobbies, because i'm sure it makes the game friendly for newer players.
Rank reset should also not exist.
-
Yes.
Slugging is an effective way to apply pressure.
I can suggest checking out a streamer called Fungoose who will slug constantly to apply pressure and he effectively 4k's every game.
-
No.
This is coming from a player with 2k hours in the game that play both killer and survivor at red ranks.
-
His trash.
Loop-able. No pressure. His power is controlled by survivors.
-

or instead of adding more hatches which is just a band-aid for the problem.. how about they fix the bug?
Fixing one problem means breaking everything else around here.
From my experience, this game is band-aided, hence why the same issues get reintroduced.
But yes, it should be fixed.
-
@Jimsalabim Already corrected my post.
-
Most cost real money and look meh.
Not an improvement on previous skins so not worth my money.
I don't understand the whole 'tier' coloured skins since they only look shard worthy.
Also, can't further support a game until i know we are getting dedicated servers in my region.
-
Didn't need to read the rest after you posted your idea.
And no.
-
*Vomits in mouth*
No thanks.
-
No.
-
Is there a TL;DR version?
-
1.) Meg
2.) Kate
3.) Feng
-
I play killer at red ranks and i have a great time.
Although, having 2k hours and being a more experienced player, it's actually find it hard not to pip in most cases.
The trick is not trying to win, and have fun. The more you stress, the harder it's going to be, because you will make more mistakes when chasing a survivor.
-
There is no reason to nerf them.
The combo is ok but just remember your dedicating 2 perks slots for the same purpose when there are much better perks out there.
Not to mention that once you know they have enduring/spirit fury combo, you can counter it by dropping pallets early.
-
No.
-
You should be playing both sides anyway.
Anyone who plays only one side is missing out on half the game.
-
From an experienced players stand point, with over 2k hours playing both killer and survivor, no.
Both are in good spots and don't need to be touched.
-
From what i have seen, 99%'ing the gates does not do anything for survivors.
Having 'extra time' to make a move for someone else that's hooked makes no difference if you're given 3 minutes or 20 minutes, the end result is the same. They STILL have a limited time to save the other survivor, regardless if the EGC has started or not.
Only reason to 99% a door would be to play around Blood Warden.
-
When the Battlepass arrives, the base game should be free.
-
If you own the base game, you don't need any DLC.
Nurse and Billy come with base, the top killers.
The most common perks players use are also with base game, plus you can just unlock them on the shrine of secrets anyway.
-
Ignore it and move onto your next game.
Don't dwell on one players behaviour.
The fact that you got upset about it is exactly what they want, a reaction.
