Absolutely everything. Absolutely perfect. You NAILED it. I always watch movies for a good time, and this delivered.

No, no! No more slugging, because survivors can now pick themselves up for free, especially with new Unbreakable.
This feature is part of the Finishing Mori system and not included in yesterday's patch, as it was just a test of this early feature. Stay tuned for future updates!

I think my wording was confusing, and I have edited it to reflect! β€οΈ

Oh, the possibilities! Not just Tombstone Myers, but Scratched Mirror Myers! Aura reading + no terror radius + Blight speed = a LOT of soiled underwear! ππ€£ππ€£
Endless Kill Your Friends possibilities!

It's always available in Customs, FYI, but locked outside of the Midnight Grove event. π

Will I keep my progress at least?
Crossprogression, or progress between different platforms, is not available from XBOX at the moment. Playing on Epic Games will be a new account and all progress and DLCs will need to be reobtained.
-
@Superbeasto1974 said:
Any special reason why?
The image above depicts a grinning Myers; in the lower left there is a purple add-on called Tombstone Piece! You can kill Healthy or Injured survivors in Evil Within III with this. The lower right contains a old Midnight Grove only add-on called Blight Serum. You can use it to activate a Blighted Rush and zoom. The two add-ons together, means Myers can speed around and kill people. It is a silly warning that their favorite way to play Myers was out this time last year.

I already have dbd on xbox. I connected my epic games account with the xbox one and idk if I can get dbd for free or not. You guys tell me
There is currently no crossprogression between Epic Games and XBOX One. You will need to own another copy of the game on Epic Games to play it there.
-
Please review the Stadia Closure FAQ on Support, as they do cover the issues currently with cross progression about a known issue, and a planned fix. Thank you!
-
My pleasure! I am also very excited. π

The Event cosmetics are releasing tomorrow in the Event Tome, full of personal and community based challenges. Here is the roadmap for Haunted By Daylight!

You had me in the first half. π

Obviously things in that forum (or any forum) can sometimes be contradictory, it's physically impossible to listen to everyone. Still I asked for one example not every example ;). Many things get talked about in many other places that get listened to or adopted. That doesn't count. I'm referring to any one specific idea that came from that forum and got implemented in direct consequence.
In other words, is it a suggestion box? Or is it a a paper shredder marked 'suggestion box'? Cus it feels like the latter.
I wish I could go down the list of add-ons (The Hillbilly, anyone?), perks, accessibility, and other changes made with the help of community feedback. I understand your question is forum specific, but we don't get our information from only one place. The Dead by Daylight community does not exist in a forum vacuum. We use every tool available to us, including Twitter, Discord, Facebook, Reddit, and even Twitch to make sure we have a gauge on how something is going over, ideas the community has, and collecting that to make sure it's communicated properly.
It very much is not the latter. You would be surprised the visibility that is achieved via these forums! Not a paper shredder, in the slightest as things like the Suggestions forums are invaluable! π

Serious question not snarky. Can you give one example or more of where something posted in feedback got acted upon?
A lot of people feel that stuff that goes there or gets forced there is a dead zone. It doesnβt have as much traffic and all the rest of it,
I ask because I have an idea Iβm putting a fair amount of effort into but I feel putting it into feedback is going to be less impactful then putting it in general.
There isn't quite enough time in my day to list every time the team listened to and implemented feedback. Changes have been reverted, accessibility options implemented, and of course the countless adjustments from PTB feedback as well. Not everything suggested can be implemented, of course, as we have balance and other things to consider, but we absolutely do read everything.

Even then a lot goes ignored lol
The feedback received on the forums is always read and reviewed to see what we can address and implement. Obviously the team cannot act on every suggestion, but we do read everything and make sure things are passed onto the appropriate people as necessary.

How to boost this so devs see?
The Feedback and Suggestions forum is the best place to leave your feedback for the team to see! π€©

There is no cross progression between Steam and PlayStation currently. The only platforms supported for cross progression are Steam, Stadia and Epic accounts.

Whenever I try and use deception It doesn't help. How do you get use out if it?
I do it as Mandy does, especially if you put Quick & Quiet with it, Deception a locker in chase, and bounce into another one as that one is getting checked. Too much fun!
-
I have run into some very cool people from all over, even people I only know from seeing their posts on the forums!
-
It was Head-On Deception, but I'm trying out Hyperfocus/Stake Out and yes you can absolutely blame Mandy.

it says a lot, i would never play with no prestigie players but i will with people at level 9 or above, and tbh that little rule has proven me right WAY MORE OFTEN than not.
It absolutely says a lot...for some! Just not much in my case. π
-
I have seen quite a few 100s! I personally know a P100 Jeff. Pretty impressive either way!
-
I am proof that time played and devotion level do not mean anything about how well you play.
-
Hey Gamin! It is important to note that a in-game report is mandatory! Without an in-game report, additional evidence or Support tickets cannot be submitted. You can read more about reports, and evidence, in the Game Rules here on the forums.

I don't know about you, but the fact that it is almost October has me LOSING IT, I am so excited for Halloween!

What perks are you running? Perks like Stake Out can make a little jingle when gaining a token, or Small Game has a little noise!

I love Blighted skins so much.

P100 Jeff! What a legend.
