I got banned by PlayStation because a salty survivor I beat couldn't take his L like a champ
-
Otzdarva most definitely, guy is nice and has a nice sense of sarcasm and humor. He also likes anime as well, which is another reason I like watching him. Used to enjoy watching Tru3ta1ent but he's been acting negative a lot now, and for some reason likes to throw shade at other streamers.
-
A game isn't completely dead until the developers of said game stop making content for it all together, just look at Friday the 13th for example. Dead By Daylight is still doing good, but the state of the game is starting to decline along with the player base who are getting fed up with the decisions by BHVR.
-
I would recommend Kate for obvious reasons. She's the hottest survivor on the entire roster, and Windows of Opportunity is such a very underrated perk.

He mentioned in a video before people should watch his other content too. I know he wants to play other games more consistently, but the problem is, is that if you compare his low view count on his other content it's much lower compared to a dbd video. He's gotta make money to make a living. He sucked himself into being pretty much a pure dbd youtube channel for a while, and that made his channel suffer, because his other content doesn't do as quite as well as dbd does for him. That's a problem that most pure one game only channels end up happening to. I've seen it happen to so many other channels over the 12+ years I've been watching youtube videos.
That's the problem these days of being a streamer/content creator. Your fans just want to watch you play one game for a living, and nothing else really. But bigger streamers known as Ninja, Pokimane, Valkyrae, etc can get away with that since they're big enough as is and their fans really don't care what they play. It's the price you pay I guess

That we have to disagree though. Twins are a very good territorial killer and Victor is incredible strong in chase.
Their playstyle isn't really my liking though, yeah they can slug and camp pretty good. But everything else they lack is their biggest drawback for me personally

Nope. Twins are actually really strong if you know how to use them and keep slugging. At least A tier. Even for chasing, Victor is still better because he can hop pallets and he is 150% speed.
Not for me personally, I still think there is better execution that could have been done for them.

I think before the buff back in Silent Hill, he was the worst Killer in the game, personally. I played him a decent amount and it just always felt like I was getting held back by that problem specifically.
Since then, I've gone back and forth between whether Myers or Clown is the worst.
Now that the reload is faster, and the Antidote has specific moments where it's fantastic, I think Myers is absolutely the worst Killer in the game.
I'd say Myers isn't the worst, but some improvements could definitely be done for him.

As a Legion main i understand your pain.
It also frustrates me to no end when i see countless people calling Legion the worst killer in the game.
The people who call killers the worst are also ussually the people that never play them.
At least Otz see's Legion as definitely not one of the worst
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Yeah, I don't get people who say Clown is the weakest killer in the game when Legion, Pig, Myers, Wraith and Trapper exist. Clown's antiloop is not that strong compared to others, but it's better than NO antiloop (Legion, Myers, Wraith Pig) and better than having to collect your power (Trapper).
Also better than the ever so slowly power of the Twins, who even with slugging and camping are still bad to me honestly.

Interesting analysis thanks for taking the time! I think the problem with clown is a lot of people don't and never knew how to use him properly. Like other killers anticipating a survivors movements and forcing movement in a particular direction is of key importance. I personally wouldn't say he is a fantastic killer; he is still low tier but I fully agree he is underrated and dismissed quickly
Being underrated is quite good honestly, saves him from getting nerfed.

@QwQw said:
I've never thought Clown was the worst killer in the game, but he's by no means better than a mid tier in my opinion.
He'll be a solid B tier for me, if he had an ability to help with his not so good map pressure then he would be A tier for me.

I agree with both, and especially the last one
Even before the Clown changes, he was not nearly as bad of a killer as people made him out to be. He has bad 1v4 (as many other killers do) but he had good 1v1. He could shut down chase quickly.
Sucks I can't use We'll Make It much in solo queue because so many people don't know what it is and it ends up being a wasted perk slot.
I recently just made my own tier list, and have Clown sitting in B tier. Definitely not bad for an underrated killer
-
I can agree with everyone else that perk tiers need to be rid of, there's currently 164 perks in total. How is grinding for that many perks fun?

Believe me, i have more killer hours by yours survivor and killer brain combined.
And yet you call this a killer main post, and were the only person to do so. Clearly your idea was to start beef with people, when I just wanted to have a civil and reasonable conversation with people.
-
When cross play first came out, decided to play Trapper and went against a squad of PC players. Managed to get a 4K because of how toxic and arrogant these guys were acting, it didn't phase me at all and I just laughed at how stupid they were when I completely dominated them once they got severely cocky.
-
If BHVR has to actually deal with some sort of competition at some point, then they are gonna be screwed. The game has so many issues that either get addressed very slowly, or just get left as is. A fresh new game that drives people away from DBD is gonna be the turning point for BHVR to realize that they actually need to start taking things seriously, I remember when Phasmophobia came and that drove a lot of people away from the game.

Monto has been burned out of the game for a while. I'm pretty sure the only reason why he still plays dbd is because his channel doesn't do well on other content besides dbd most of the time.
I think he admits that he gets bored of it every now and then, he does other games which is nice for variety. I don't really think his views mean anything to him honestly, he gets a pretty good amount of views playing other games. I used to watch him because I prefer streamers who stream a variety of games over streamers who just stream one game and that game only which is quite boring to watch honestly. The reason as to why I don't particularly watch him anymore, is because of how rude his personality is.

How the hell did this update pass QA? Does QA even exist with this game?
This is BHVR we're talking about, they don't give a flying turkey about testing updates before they drop them.

I find it ironic a clown main is calling Spirit easy to play. Not trying to start anything, but if we're talking simplicity of mechanics, Spirit is in another tier at least from Clown. In fact, she's probably the second HARDEST to learning the beginning, it's just east to use her once you know how. It's like reading a book for the first time, once you understand the language, then of course it's much easier, but you still have to learn the language first.
Not really honestly I wouldn't say Spirit is the second hardest than someone like Blight for example. All you need is a good set of ears, and you can 4K easily. With someone like Clown you have to strategize what you're doing with the bottles, and have to know how to use them properly. With Spirit just use your ears, and if you want throw on Stridor as well to make it even more easy.
-
We'll Make It is one of the best survivor perks
Clown is incredibly underrated
-
First rule about the antidote is to never use it for map mobility, only do it when you pretty much have the game won. The antidote is used for the chase, and can be pretty powerful when used correctly. What you do with it in loops is throw the antidote first, and then follow up with a tonic after. What you can also do out in the open is hit a survivor with a basic attack, and then follow up with an antidote to catch up to them for a down. This makes Clown's chase a lot more stronger than his old self, and I still think people are underestimating the power of the antidote.
-
It sucks that the only way to make them decently good is by doing the two most unfun things, slugging and camping. As it's been said the idea of having two killers is nice, but the execution was so badly executed. Other than that I find them quite boring to play as and against, would rather play Burger King Myers instead.
-
Killer says get good, meanwhile plays one of most easiest killers in the game with a braindead perk to go with it.
-
I'd say wait until next year
-
Spirit or the Twins honestly. Spirit is quite easy to play, and gives survivors zero info when she's phasing. Must feel fun getting outplayed when you have zero info to work with. And the Twins are just a mess altogether for how bad they are. That's why people camp and slug with them so much, because their power sucks at everything else. Worst killer in the game, and playstyle is not healthy.

I think they sort of avoid the classic movie monsters and aim more for slasher killers. Sure, you could make a Vampire that operates similarly, though Oni kinda already does that with the blood orbs.
Vampires, mummies, pirates, etc. There's a lot of killers that they haven't done yet, the idea of a slime monster would be cool.
-
I'm surprised there hasn't been a vampire killer yet

Oinkers main here, I want to add on to the list of things that should be base kit on killers! 😊
Amanda Young, AKA The Pig, should have Rules Set NO.2 basekit. Yes, survivors will focus more on generators, but they will be put on a 2 minute and 30 second timer without any progress on the Jigsaw Boxes. If multiple survivors refused to do Jigsaw Boxes while their timer wasn't activated, that's game ending for the survivors, especially when she could use add-ons to make RBTs more lethal. 🤷♂️
If they complete the last generator and everyone has a RBT, I'll just open the gates and get free sacrifices at that point. 😊
Local snoot boopers would second this

Idk but can I offer you a new HUD and survivor animations in these trying times?
Might as well throw in the survivor rulebook as well, and call it a day.
-
@ALostPuppy said:
It wouldn't be hard for them to do at all, and they could do things like the Trapper bag and windstorm changes in literally minutes, but they're so slow at doing everything else like map reworks, bug fixes, and the unnecessary changes like the HUD and animations that they have no time to even think about QoL changes (You know, the kind of changes that would actually make people happy?) We get maybe 1 or 2 QoL improvements a year it's so annoying
Let's also not forget that it took the devs four years to realize how complete bs Object of Obsession is
-
@Phasmamain said:
It’s weird. Adding things like rat liver, trapper bag and windstorm base would make these killers much less frustrating to play and make them better with a simple number tweak and addon change it’s confusing
If I was apart of the dev team, that would be my #1 priority immediately. Waiting five or six years to finally give Trapper three traps at base, is a big what took you so long moment?
-
I mean I want Kindred basekit as survivor, so I don't need to waste the perk slot for it when playing solo. But the devs keep ignoring that feedback so much
-
It's been an ongoing issue since the introduction of dedicated servers, the devs don't care enough about Plague to look into her issues. And with her puke being quite inconsistent, it really hurts her overall performance. She desperately needs some quality of life improvements at some point
-
@Shirokinukatsukami said:
I know right? I mean how hard is it to give survivors DS, Kindred, Bond, Borrowed Time and Unbreakable as Basekit. These are necessary to bridge the gap between SWF and prevent Tunneling, Camping and Slugging, but BHVR won't do it.
Crazy right?
It's literal insanity yes
-
It's quite sad seeing the Mobile version of DBD, doing better than the actual PC/Console version. Also there's no telling how much better people could get at certain killers if the devs would actually bring a practice mode to the PC/Console version, and yet here we are getting close to the fifth anniversary in a few months still waiting for it or if it will ever happen.
-
Sorry to hear that you are receiving very toxic comments from people, everyone who's played this game long enough has dealt with it all. The best thing to do is ignore those idiots, and make your messages private. Only make your messages private for DBD, turn it back to public once you play other games. I've tried countless times being the voice of reason when I get someone being toxic towards me, but toxic people don't hear your words at all because they're just sad people who get enjoyment of ruining someone else's day. Not only are they toxic with their personality and words, but also very toxic and cocky in the game as well. It's very disgusting seeing toxic streamers who encourage toxicity, I know of certain toxic console streamers who I simply can't stand. That's the best advice I can give, remember to never let toxic people get into your head with what they say towards you. You be the bigger person, and block the negative energy.
-
I think a lot of the survivor mains are currently on strike until the hitboxes get fixed
-
There's not a whole lot of skill in DBD to talk about, unless you want to play Nurse. I can agree with what other people are saying is it's more knowledge of understanding certain things then skill. Compare DBD to a fighting game, and then you'll realize how laughable DBD's skill ceiling is. In fighting games you have to learn how to do certain combos so efficiently, that it basically requires immediate focus as much as possible. Also having to learn how to play certain fighters as best you possibly can, like Shulk in Smash is so unbearable to play at first since you don't know what you're doing. The only thing that will always disappoint me in fighters is having to deal with spammers
-
I've been enjoying the new Clown, also love that all the killers now have extendo arms with this update. Totally love getting hit from about five meters away
-
1.) Neither honestly
2.) Pretty much rank 1 on both sides
3.) Been playing ever since the game was free on PlayStation Plus back in August of 2018
4.) Pretty much have all the perks on all the killers, minus the Twins because I don't like them. Only have all the perks on two survivors which would be Ace and Kate
5.) I play both sides respectfully, might get on sometimes after midnight to test and experiment around with killer stuff. I did that last night with Clown, but I try my best not to be on DBD when it's well after midnight.

>but why did Redhead's Pinky Finger never get changed!?
Maybe because this addon is fine? To wish for a change to one of the best and ultra-rare addons that aren't even OP like iri hatchets - I don't believe you're really a Clown main.
Giving killers that don't have instadown abilities, instadown add ons doesn't make for good balance imo. The add on is so pointless running you'd be better of running Kerosene Can. Also since I don't like Pinky Finger because it has instadowns means I'm not a Clown main, so I guess people who main Huntress that don't like Iridescent Head aren't actual Huntress mains? I'm sorry but that logic is absolutely delusional
-
Clown's Ultra Rares are pointless running. Redhead's Pinky Finger needs to be changed from something that isn't an instadown, and Tattoo's Middle Finger is so pointless while Cigar Box can do what it does but even better.

More than 25 maybe 30 or more
Maybe there is more, but I counted at least 25. Also it's hard to make sure to not count breakable walls when you're using Zanshin Tactics
-
@CheyeneKL said:
25 pallets and, what, 6-7 vaults total on the map? The Game will always be a boring "break safe pallet" map because that's how it was designed. It's not the most invigorating game play, but it's also one of the only maps in the game that is designed that way, off the top of my head.
This map was always killer sided and devs obviously saw a reason to make it a little more survivor sided, after changing a lot of other maps to be more balanced from being more survivor sided. I'm not saying they didn't possibly go overboard but like... how many matches have even been played on the new version of the map since the update?
I think people should give it more time before they immediately start calling it out as the new most survivor sided map (you didn't call it that, but other people have). I'm sure it will eventually get tweaked slightly but I myself haven't even played on it more than once since the update LOL
They should have at least disabled the Game map after hearing all of the negativity surrounding this map now
-
@Kebek said:
I want to see if that will reflect in kill rates, game used to be one of the most killer sided maps to exist. Let's wait some time and see if that changes.
Can't wait to see those STATISTICS
-
@JHondo said:
Made a post about this last night. Really, this map should be disabled until it's fixed too. It's like they just have a function turned on that spawns all available pallets, my favorite is god pallet into short unmindgameable long walks on both sides pallet into freezer room window into another god pallet.
The only two good things I'll say about this map are.. It's looks really nice, and there's no fat shaming bug.

Wow I actually like that idea about pinky finger.
Almost every killer has an iridescent that looks useless but it's actually fun to use when u have a plan and specific builds combined to take advantage of it. But clown is just, insta down, yey, I can't really bring myself to use it.
Same for Middle Finger, before the rework, I kinda liked it, but now, why would I use it when I have cigar box?
Honestly Tattoo's Middle Finger is such a bad add on for an ultra rare, Cigar Box is a purple add on and it does the aura reading even better than Middle Finger. @NotQueen @Peanits can we potentially get a change for Clown's Ultra Rare add ons at some point? Everyone can agree about Tattoo's Middle Finger being pointless, but why did Redhead's Pinky Finger never get changed!?

The last time I took a break from dbd was during the Halloween event because of how falsely lead I was to believe that I wasn't going to be doing same ol same ol and then got same ol same ol and they put too much emphasis on the archives for the event. (I don't mind putting event related stuff in the archives but make it something extra on top of the event instead of the entire event being the archives)
I like the Red Glyphs they added, but sadly there's nothing much else to the Red Glyphs besides doing the tome challenge for them. I like how they look, and basically look like your tearing into another dimension. Could have done more with them, if we had an ACTUAL Lunar New Year Event.
