No perk reward you for playing badly. They are just perks. You pick what you want for whatever reasons you want.
And perks just are. Sometimes they proc, sometimes they don't. What worked one game may not even factor in the next.
Just play your game and let others play theirs
-
Once is enough, probably over quick anyway

I will answer you. I won more than I lost with my Xbox one when people were skipping across the map, DH froze me, and my power surged my system. Since getting Series S I got a 2k couple times using killers I suck with (Plague, Billy) but other than that 4k. I always wondered how good I would be with a system that is not broken and I got my answer finally (thank you GameStop).

Brain dead drives me nutz. There is nothing in this game that is brain dead. Uh I hate that phrase.
Thank you. I appreciate your reply. I also win more than I lose on PS4. As you said, often with terrible lag.
-
Yeah, DCing on both sides sucks. It is especially petty when you do it to deny others an achievement. I recently had a Myers going for his Evil Incarnate trophy. And he had two of us left and one dude just sat in the locker. I finished the last gen and dude just sat in the locker. Like who cares. So I walked over and let Mikey kill me.
Spectated a bit, but dude would not leave locker, so I moved on to the next game.
If you are on the forums, I hope you got your achievement.

Or you can go do gens. 3 minute chase and 2 minutes camping is more than enough time to do 5 gens between 3 survivors. If you go to rescue Dwight you take a resource off of gens. Its better to slam gens and leave rather than try to rescue against a camper and risk being grabbed.
Its better if you want to escape and depip. Not if you were hoping for an interactive game, where you have the chance to pip

I still don't know why killer mains are here crying all day everyday. Since summer began I played a lot more killer than usual, mainly wraith, bit of demo, going from rank 9 to rank 1 mostly without a single gen regressing perk(tho using red wraith add on from time to time for general gen info) and my ass was badly kicked only once on mother dwelling where I felt kinda helpless, got that one petty kill. Most games ended at 1-2 gens being still up, with ruin/undying it would have probably been better. Few 2Ks and fair games. Most survivors even at red ranks are average at best, you usually know in a first minute oh OK, I'm chilling this game. Also playing wraith it's easy to find the weak link of a group and put more pressure on him/her. I never just tunnel the survivor out, but after a hook I see where the weeky is with bbq and go visit😘
Exactly. Idk why this is either. And I always ask them, do you lose more than you win? And only one person has ever answered me. I think that alone says a lot. If it is so bad, then how come they can't honestly answer the question.
-
Bring what you want. Why worry what one person said to you?
Most people play this game and understand both sides play what they like.

No, that's just the survivors being greedy for the pallet stun and waiting for the last possible second to drop it. Now they get those all the time with no risk involved because now pallets make them invincible.
I still get hits and get hit through them. It is certainly not impossible. But less BS than before
-
So you want to buff addons to help you get your achievement?
It's a game, things have counters, you'll get it eventually.
-
They can be a pain. I actually got a flashlight save, and damn zombie hit the survivor as soon as their feet hit the ground.
Smh
-
I have played a long time now, too long to have a main anymore.
I usually do two solo survivor games, then play as the last killer I versed using their build. Keeps it fresh for me.
-
Every time I see these "survivor sided" BS threads, I gotta ask.
Do you lose more than you win as killer?
It's that simple. Many of us that play killer, and have for a long time, do just fine.
So if you are losing more than winning, perhaps your killer game needs work.

As others have said, it glows it goes!

I was going against rank 20s as a rank 1, it wasn’t fabricated.
I'm sure some were real.
-
We aren't getting one. And if we get another test run, everyone will just show the pics of their rank 18 smurf account getting matched verse red ranks and cry how mmr sucks.

Yeah I had one a few months ago in the evening, my entire team was god and to be honest that really bumps up my self-esteem and skill. Whenever I know I have a good team, I do well myself too. Sadly those are such rare occurrences it's not worth the pain going through solo q.
Exactly, those types of wins are always more satisfying than a SWF one.
Sadly they are rare, as you said.
-
It really started a long time ago when the community was much smaller.
And we would see the same names perhaps numerous games in a row. So, it felt cheaper then. It really isn't the same anymore.
-
Selfish Q teammates
-
Selfish q is a nightmare. I still enjoy it for the challenge. But depipping to AFK killers, tunneling, campers, or Dcing teammates, gen phobic tmates is a ######### joke.
But those few games where you get good teammates are still fun.
-
Nothing can really stop a tunneling killer from removing a person from the game if they so choose.
But, it's a team game. And at some point your teammates should assist if they see a person getting tunneled out. But, of course this is rare in selfish q.
These are the reasons many choose to SWF.
-
I do like bond, open handed, kindred and windows. But I am a glutton for information.

I'm gonna be honest, when survivors hold W I get pissed off and talk ######### about them in my head. I do the same for killers when they camp, tunnel, or slug at 5 gens (don't care if they do those during the EGC). But I don't do crying in the endgame chat about what they do. You know why? Because it's a playstyle and I respect that.
I talk ######### about them but keep it to myself, because there's no reason to get all pissy at them for playing the way they do. I just say gg or ggwp or whatever, if I get no kills then ggwp, you guys did good. If I die as surv I'll just go to the next game or if it's a death as soon as the game ends then I'll just say gg. If I like the way they played, I'll either give them hatch or let them kill me.
Plus, it would be rather hypocritical of me to ######### on them. I hold W against killers that literally require you to hold W as their counterplay, and sometimes I absolutely need to camp, slug, and tunnel (I respect if killers need to do those). Sometimes I even make fun of myself for holding W.
I truly don't mean it when I insult others in my head while playing, it's just my mentality, heh. Play how you want, and respect how others play. (Unless you slug at 5 gens then please change your playstyle.)
I totally agree. We are all human, and things bother us from time to time. And there are tactics I don't enjoy. But regardless, I will not send some petty salty message. I may say some ######### in my living room and my lady may laugh at me, but in no way will I spread that to another person.
-
It is to put the key on the ground in front of them so they can see. But of course, ######### will steal it. It they don't steal it, pick it up and motion to follow.

Yeah I've been trying to use Bond and Prove Thyself in solo queue lately and there's just no reason to bring Prove Thyself. People do not do gens. I'm currently rank 11, and whether I get purple teammates or three rank 20s, people are terrified to play the game. I love seeing killers scream that gens are too fast. Have a life outside of DBD, and try playing solo for a few hours. It's a nightmare.
Yeah, no one sticks to gennys anymore, creep around and try to get a save and the hatch. I swear, some of these survivors actually believe their lives are on the line. Even at red ranks. But selfish q is the real killer in this game.

Yea Bond has me shaking my head a lot of times. If it’s a fellow Xbox player, I’ll message them and call them out on their B.S. “Are you going to help us out or keep hiding in the corner?” That usually lights a fire. And then all their chases end short & they die quickly. Then I realize why they were hiding lmao.
I feel you there. I understand people struggle in chase, but do a genny in between stealth sessions.
-
Damn, we are getting a lot of these threads recently.
The simple answer is who/why give a #########?
People get upset in this game because they got outplayed. Sure some tactics put the F U in fun, but they are a legitimate part of the game. If you don't like something.....well, there's a perk for that.
-
There are no rules, besides don't cheat.
There are self imposed rules, and there are opinions others feel about how the game should be played. But as a new person, you will form these on your own as you play both sides.
I was a long time ruthless killer main . I'd get my 4k anyway I could. Then started playing survivor after 2 years in game, and gained some empathy for the other side. Now I have played long enough that I play pretty damn fair. I refuse to tunnel, even if it turns a 4k into a 2k. At this point, who cares, I have achieved every goal I set out to in this game. But I understand others are also doing it their way and still may really want that 4k.
Same with survivor, no torches, no Body blocking with BT, no map offerings...etc.
My personal rule is play how I would like to verse. So If I don't like it , I don't do it. Even to my detriment at times. And lastly, respect that others are going to do them. You may not enjoy their tactics, but respect their right to play as they please.
There is always another match waiting. Have fun, enjoy the fog, and ######### anyone that texts you a ######### message.
-
This game is not survivor sided. It is pretty balanced. It may be Coordinated SWF sided, but it is certainly not Selfish Q sided.
And this would be at the highest skill level. But, into purple ranks it is killer sided. And a good killer will beat 4 randos the majority of the time. Especially when using any tactics they deem necessary.
And add a bit of RNG sided as well.
-
As others have said, it happens on both sides. I never understand why so many people feel it is necessary to opine on some one else's gameplay.
I say, play how you like to verse. That is the way I play. But, certainly don't worry about post game comments. In either role, chances are, someone is going to be unhappy.
-
I honestly do more solo and killer because most of my friends have left the game.
But simple answer is, custom is no blood points nor progression.
So, boring. Plus, usually, friends play too nice when playing killer.

I'm always getting robbed of hits through pallets. See the blood, hear the scream, it was a hit. And while you wanna throw insults around at everyone who doesn't agree with you. I found the person that is a survivor main with a killer profile picture.
No friend. I play both, but I found the person that really gives a ######### about an avatar. Like it has any bearing on who you are as a person or gamer.
When did I insult you? 🤔
The hit animation is a bug and will be fixed. The Devs have already stated this. So after this fix, are people still going to cry about getting robbed of their hits? When it's completely subjective and no evidence to support their claim?
And , surely you must have advocated for the other side these last few years. When you got the stun but somehow still ended up on the ground?
Or that was totally fair?

Just because because it was unbalanced for one side for a long time doesn't mean unbalance it the other way now for a while. ever hear of two wrongs don't make a right? swinging through pallets should still be possible just more difficult with a smaller window of time.
It is still possible. I get hits all the time still, but not the free BS ones.
2 wrongs don't make a right? Is this really your argument? Is this kindergarten?
I'm sure when it was going the other way you were making posts about how unfair this was for survivors.
Only people crying about this are those that didn't care about true balance and want EZ hits.

I am pretty sure your Wraith picture is just for show.
I play Wraith a lot lately and he got screwed by this probably most, because of lot of uncloaking mind games next to pallet with survivors. I sometimes get it multiple times in one game.
Thing is that based on description they showed, survivors got a lot of extra time. They don't need to finish that animation, they just need to start it, which I don't think is right.
I don't really give a ######### what you think about my avatar.
For Years the hits were BS the other way. It's nice that pallets have some semblance of safety now.
I don't respect #########, so my game play as killer hasn't changed at all. I just chew through their resources with a few more stuns.
-
As solo, almost instantly. Red Rank east coast, usa
-
Then, we would have even more scared survivors hiding when Alert procs,,lol.
But seriously, it would be strong with Bond. My current solo build is Bond and Kindred, and honestly, it just kills me inside every time I see what my teammates are doing instead.
-
Cribbage, verses my lady, ladder ball and croquet. Beerstick Frisbee and Disc golf.
I only play one electronic game, and this is it.

then like I said, they can work on the system more to give the killer some chance because its just making pallet cities more horrendous for m1 killers and pallet campers have no worry or punishment. and even if you loop wrong the pallet is 100% in the survivors favor now so they also dont have much of a worry
Pallets have been death traps for years. It is kinda nice to add an element of safety back to pallets.
-
@GannTM said:
No you shouldn’t. Survivor que times are already atrocious and killers DCing would end the game for survivors and have to spend another 15 decades in que to find hopefully a real game.
What region? My solo q time is almost instant
-
You realize it has been the opposite for years? Killers getting BS hits they don't deserve, survivor gets the stun and still hits the ground. NO, it is about time this change has happened.
Don't worry, they will be removing the sound of the survivor getting hit soon.

Also, I have no doubt that your problem IS playing injured. I mean if you like being a one shot constantly you do you. But the whole situation of you complaining that you aren’t being saved is caused bc you probably go down first bc of it. Learn to heal.
Bro, your arguing with yourself. I have played this game way too long to give a ######### what somebody hiding behind a computer screen Imagines my gameplay is like. Please find someone else to argue with. I am out of this discussion. We aren't changing each other's minds.

32s dude…that’s not a lot and that’s without combo with any other perk
32s, repeatedly, over the course of the game. ONe time sure, but many that run this perk are gen phobic that never learn to play injured
-
Sorry, but I can't stand the perk. Why not just bring a medkit? I agree, solo is the hardest mode in the game, but it is because of teammates, especially those that are self caring and letting me hit second stage on my first hook. Soooo, I am not going to stop shitting on self care.
-
Nothing. I always play my game for my fun.
If I lose, well, I lost, new game.
-
Yeah, you can't punish people for playing a game.
Entice them towards different tactics, maybe, but no punishment
-
Play killer, BBq and a Pudding, enjoy
-
That playing the game, some how gives you the right to unsolicited comments towards others' game play.

especially when tapping a gen doesn't deactivate DS.
Had it happen to me multiple times as killer when in chase, a survivor that is in the 60sec cooldown (not tunneling btw) would tap a regressing gen (going in crouch animation) and when i down them i still would eat the DS.
It does deactivate DS. You should report this in bugs section if this is indeed true.
