I just don't want to see any second chance / extra healthstate totems. Please no.
-
Trapper changes are finaly here... Good job (wish it was like this many years ago but at least we will have it).
Spirit changes might be too much I think. I think giving 2 indicators where she is and 0 buffs to compensate + addon pass (aka nerfs) is just unfair probably.
Buffs to weaker perks are always nice, however perks like Blood Favor will still be bad and useless most of the time.
-
This is how it works now btw :D
-
Sometimes I feel like I hate Bahdam more than Haddofield.
-
Understandable. I am also not fun of new MMR.
However I would not advice to be forced to play the best killer(s) IF the ONLY reason is to have a chance to have decent games (aka you don't play that Killer for fun anymore).
Play what you want, focus on fun rather than kills or wins but if you still can't / don't want to do that... Then I would not play Killer at all.
-
Only thing that is rly strong is his ultra-rare addon that can injure you (prob bit too much tbh).
Other than that he is okay killer. Don't know what is the problem with him againts solo q players (I am one of them myself).
-
I think they should 2x the rewards at least or give some few shards while at it.
I mean to get red grade requeres many hours per month to get there. If you play both sides it is even longer.
Like 500K points is of course nice but I think players playing that offten should get some more. It is better than nothing at least.

I love going against Twins. I think the main reason why people HATE them is because not only does nobody play them and so you barely get experience against them, but a lot of survivors haven't played Twins themselves, and so nobody knows the most effective counterplay (and they have a lot). You won't often see people abusing lockers, holding Victor, staying in pairs, camping pallets and windows against Victor, choosing safer gens to work on, staying on top of heals, always getting a kick on Victor, etc. If nobody knows what to do, and they're a slug heavy killer, it's pretty easy to find it miserable to face them.
Sadly I see them like 1 per 100 games :(

I like zombie speed and the oblivious effect when killing a zombie.
Caught a lot of survivors off guard with that.
Rly? I mean he is laud and you can easy hear him coming for you.
-
Ok. Now my turn.
I like to play againts Twins.
-
For me (central EU) it takes during the day like 6-8 min. During the night / early morning it takes like 3-5 min.
It is still worse since MMR came out because before I had during night almost instant que times. During the day it is similar how it was before.
Overall the best time for me to play the Killer got "nerfed".
-
I like the effect of that perk but it is at the same time tedious to keep walking to gens and kicking them like XX times.
As said above, prob the best users of this perk are these who can travel fast and end chases fast.

I swear to this day that they nerfed Billy's base turning when they changed him. He just doesn't feel right anymore. Maybe it's the animations.
Anyway, without engravings he's pretty much backrev simulator on a lot of maps. And if you want to backrev just play Bubba.
It could also be caused by so many map reworks since his (de)rework.
-
1) Add-ons are mostly garbage
2) Not easy to play (if you want to win games with him)
3) Sometimes maps can hurt him a lot (hard curves, hard travel around map, etc.)
4) Easy to be hard punished (hitting a wall with a chainsaw, missing chainsaw, etc.)
5) M1 Billy againts good survivors
-
Freddy is in a weird spot now. For me, I personaly don't play him much because he is just boring and not interesting to play as. Freddy is like nothing special for me.
I enjoy playing Clown more than him.

Whats lol about it, deathslinger chain gets you injured too
This is like 3x times more powerfull than slinger alone.

Upvoting.

(1) I think his lullaby is fine as it is. I never had a problem with hearing it... Maybe it is not so well heared when not using headsets but still possible.
@ThiccBudhha said:
I am vehemently against nerfing garbage killers.
(2) He is no way near garbage lol. I don't know if you didn't play againts him since he came out (1st patch) or you are (nothing personal) bad with him but he is at he very least mid-tier killer. I would say he is even hight-mid tier killer.
I rly don't get it why people keep saying he is garbage. It's like you guys didn't play him since his mini-rework and reversed nerfs.

Should be basekit
Lol

As Survivor I understand it because you don't want to get tunneled, slugged, etc. Killer can try to "ruin your fun".
As a Killer I don't feel forced at all. I just play usualy non-meta perks all the time and play many killers left and right. I simply don't care about gens or wins or kills that much.
-
I find him finaly fun to play after his changes. He is finaly no longer bad killer and he is at least hight-mid tier killer.
I think he is fine. True, his best addons are powerfull but you can say that about most killers too. He doesn't have that much good addons too compare to the rest of the cast.

it has been found out recently that there are almost 10 times more killers in queue than survivors, not an official source, but very trustable
We know from who *wink* ;)

It’s not that difficult to look around before you pick up a survivor, it can give you free pressure as that’s 2 survivors not doing gens.
Sometimes even this doesn't work.
-
Yep. I think sometimes it can be pretty unfair for the Killer.
I run lightborn 24/7 (playing for fun) and it's great. Don't have to care about it.
-
Make sure to report it to "Bug reports" section of the forums.
-
Oh God please no 3 RPD maps. Now I would just make it 1 map that will have 50% chance to be either one side or the other side so the map is less garbage.
I think even if they would split the map I would still hate it. And having even 2x chance to be sent there would kill me.
This map just kills all fun.

I don't know why, but it's always when I am playing killer I get hackers, I have only seen one hacker as survivor I guess the hackers I am facing just enjoy being survivors I guess?
I think I rememeber some survivor who managed to finish all generators in like 1 minute. And killers usualy just instadown people with 0 attack cooldowns, teleports and wallhacks.
-
I love this perk so much :D. Well I don't see a problem with it if you are not trying to win games or play meta stuff 24/7.

The reason why I'm saying this is that I have faced 5 hackers this week using legacy and most people are seeing lots of hackers at the moment, like there ie legitimately more hackers in the game at the moment than ever. So there is a very major reason for me saying this, I'm just saying I'm quite tired of all the hackers in the game, and for as long as they don't fix it going forward I recommend people dodge lobbies with them because its more than likely a hacker.
I see. From my experience I don't usualy see a hacker most of my matches so I am either lucky or you guys are more unlucky(?). However most of the time the hackers are killers in my matches.
-
Sorry for your bad experience with legacy players but my (as a legit legacy player myself) games againts or with these people are 99% fine. I play both sides so I sometimes play with them or againts them and I think I never had a problem with them.
So I would say it is just bad luck for you and not just a overall fact / statement of the game.

Players who complain about sweatfests are sweaty themselves.
And it will be even more obvious the longer SBMM is active, I dont feel sorry for Killers who decide to run 4 Slowdown-Perks and the best Add Ons when they get really strong Survivors.
People who complain about sweatfests are usualy people who want to have fun in this game. At least that's how it is for me.
-
It's very rare to see them and usualy it was killer who cheated. It happends like 1 per 150+ games on avarage for me.
-
My solo survivor so far was terrible since MMR. All I got was just full meta OR some super unfun games and killers just tryhard like there is no day tomorrow. 3v1? Don't care. Slugging to get his "4K". Legion with mending add-ons + full slowdown build... Just overall fun stuff... And teammates werent the best either.
Killer was fine tho, for the most part. But I noticed people playing best medkits, tools and keys with offering for hatch. They still died tho for the most part.

The object of any game on Earth should be to win.
And if trying to achieve the objective of victory isn't fun to you, then that game itself isn't fun to you.
Stop insulting other people for trying to accomplish the intended objective which makes it a game in the first place.
If you lose games and want to lash out, sure, go ahead. But understand that that's all it is.
----
For the record, yes, DBD is major Survivor sided. Yes, there are strong Killer characters, and strong Killer players. But ultimately, Survivors should be winning any and every evenly-matched game.
However, that does not mean you call them sweatlords, or whatever. They're just playing the game as it's intended.
If they're BM'ing, that's another problem entirely. Call that out instead.
If the game design is the issue (which it is), call that out instead.
But ENOUGH with calling people sweaty, or tryhards, or whatever else. It's SO lame.
It's very personal. I think much healthy way to look at it is: Game should be mainly fun. If it is not fun, then why even bother playing it? In the end, games are just games. Nothing rly serious compare to world out there.
I understand his frustration because I don't enjoy these "sweatlords" on both sides too. Also I wouldn't call it insult lol.
-
I think after his recent changes he is good now. I kinda like to play him more than before since they gave him back his max. trow speed.
Only thing I wish is that timer on his "ultimate" ability is either 2x longer or better just no timer at all. Like 30 sec is of course better than before but I still feel it is short since I lost the power (no target, hooking, etc.) within that timmer few times allready.

Ah, right. I figured so, but I also figured, if someone had, not necessarily GOTTEN banned, but had DONE things in the chat that would maybe result IN a ban if it were reported 3+ times, they would automatically get permabanned since, well, although they weren't banned, they committed those """crimes""" 3+ times, each one representing a potential ban, so to speak. If... that makes sense?
Simply put, IF you insulted many people and someone would prove it or report you in-game, THEN you could get banned.
However depends what insults or chat it was and how many times I quess. You might skip some level of ban or maybe not.

There is an escalation process, it's explained here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/141-game-ban-escalation
Thank you. Just one question to be sure:
"Any previous permanent bans on your record will result in all future offenses being a permanent ban."
Does this means if someone gets new account (no metter platform), if they commit any other offense, THEN they will get banned? Because from what I rememeber, trying to avoid perma bans by creating new accounts will auto result in perma (if there is prove that it is the same person).
-
@ProfExessor212 said:
@Buily09 I've wondered how that works- is it a strike thing? Considering there is a scale. Like, if you say something bad, and get temp banned within the span of a year like 3 times, and then another year later say one more thing, THEN it's permanent?
From what I rememeber, I think it scales (unless this was updated). You would have to get banned more times(3+?) to get perma. But I might be wrong since it is long time since I read about this.
-
I mean, to get permanently banned I imagine it would have to be something rly terrible and just disgusting. It would also have to happen many times in many matches.
If it was something like insults, etc. It would be prob a short ban period. Not permanent.
-
This is all I ever asked for this perk. Just give it Iron Will fully so you don't have to waste perk slot picking it. Other than that, keep it as it is.
-
I don't think this is good idea since this would remove one of the few counterplays you can do againts her and even then she can still somewhat use that blink to get to that Survivor.
-
Nurse, Spirit and Blight are the top best killers so you will perform on avarage better than lets say with Trapper or Legion.
Using add-ons on the top of that is then even further powerhouse, since some of them are rly BIG.
And yes, we 1000% need to buff the bottom line killers.
-
I don't get why giving him at least that brown bag addon is so big NO for them. Like look at the Wraith for example. It helped him a lot.
-
I managed to play only 1 game as Survivor. We got Shape with ward for addons and he was playing Infinite Tier 3 with slug build (Knockout, Infec. Fr., etc.) and the game lasted 7 min and then he just left us on the ground. Fun stuff.
I am scared to try Killer lol.

@Tsulan said:
Devs were the most creative when they made the addons for Myers and Hag. Addons that completely changed their playstyle.
Since then, most addons are either completely useless or have so little impact that the killer could also play without them.
Well looking at the Doctor (rework), Spirit, Wraith (rework), etc. I wouldn't say "since then".
But most Killers recently are not getting as many unique and powerfull add-ons as before for sure. Sad but true.
-
I read somewhere that they are bugged. When you vault windows or palets you get a tiny bit slowdown or freez or something. Not sure tho.
-
This sounds like super unfun and unfair to VS and bad perk to rely on because Its about luck. It can either be super busted OP or garbage and do nothing all game. Don't like it, sorry.

But he's fun and I don't want to wait that long
They usualy release 2-3 bug fixes before next bigger patch. Each patch is like 1 week from eachother, usualy 1 week after a release of the DLC. Maybe they will fix it faster but from past experience it can take 3+ weeks before they mostly fix him. However with each patch it gets a bit better (I hope).
-
If I would quess, I think like 2-3 weeks minimum.
