I don't have much to add beyond "this" and pointing to the OP a bunch.
We're bound to have some complaining threads about how this gift to us isn't good enough so I want to do my tiny part to have a " Thank You" thread overshadow the whiny threads.
Sadly there is already a thread complaining about how we should be getting double, but personally I’m just happy that we got listened to and that the devs rewarded us.
Either way it’s better to have a bit of good posts here and there.

Unbelievable that we put something on for whilst people are quarantined - and yet people still complain :(
It's 3 weeks of extra blood points - I dunno, maybe we thought some people might be happy about that or something!
Don’t feel bad most people are happy, there are just some people in the community who want more then they deserve I guess. I for one am extremely happy as I’m trying to grind to get all perks on my Hillbilly.

That's a good question. 2x BP is great and all, but a lot of people jump on that and farm as much as possible. Farming matches are fine if you're just after the points, but they really ruin the game for people who want to play the game normally. It's normally not a big deal since they're only four days long, but since this one is three weeks long, we don't want it to get in the way of normal gameplay for that long.
That’s what happened when we had games with five gateaus in them.

Most matches as long as the rest of the team is competent and no one disconnects.

Its not like survivors try to become better, all boosted thanks to the meta perk builds
Although I would say that, I reached rank one with only one meta perk, Iron will, along with aftercare, lithe and spine chill.
When I play killer, there are alot of meta builds, but there are the odd people who use fun and interesting builds.
-
Trapper can completely shut down loops by placing traps in certain areas, after a slow start has an amazing mid to end game. As long as he convinces survivors to go to loops near trapeze he works.
Wraith can be deadly especially in an anti healing meta. Has a great start, but struggles getting the killer blow being a basic M1 killer in the chase.
Both are great at their own thing.

Now that ain't tunneling. That's capitalising on a mistake being made.
Tunneling is where you focus on one specific person to get them outta the game. E.G you see two survivors on a gen but only go after one of them even though the other one is a weaker chaser because you've mamabefd to hook the one your going to chase already.
That's tunneling. Not the functional shift it's gone though.
I keep on forgetting what actual tunneling is as I'm always getting post game messages from salty survivors about it.
-
What if I have no legs???
-
Even high ranked killers, including me, tunnel.
Now do we do it all the time? No of course not, but if it's the favourable situation, such as chasing an injured unhooked survivor over a healthy one, we are going to go for it.
-
Usually in my games I get experienced swf, so rather than them saying "I'm over here pick me up." They'll say "I'm at the ____ side of the ______."
They'll usually pinpoint their location, as many maps have multiple noticable structures.
Additionally, unbreakable exists, and with Iron will good luck finding them.

The Nurse is still the strongest killer in the game by far, she's just more difficult now. If you're good at her then the cooldown added a few months back doesn't really even matter all that much.
Personally I find that people talk good about her too much. Yes a great one can destroy you, but all you need is mind games, and even one successful mind game can add 10, 20 seconds to a chase.
-
I'm a Billy main and for me, the main use of the perk is finding survivors. Sure the bloodpoints are great, but knowing where a survivor is, even one, can cut time down immensely.
Additionally the perk is great for many other killers who lack map pressure, as it will help them apply pressure where needed.
-
One could be if a killer misses a hit within 6 meters of you, you get a speed boost of 150% for 2 seconds (not 3 unlike the usual) and causes exhaustion for 30/25/20 seconds.

"I got threatened in a video game." I am sure they'll put their best men on it and work double shifts until they find them. Where is Sgt. Friday when you need him? This is the city...I carry a badge. Sure...good luck with that.
Don't be like that dude.
-
Assuming we get two survivors, I want Meg and Jake. Both of these are older survivors that don't have alot of lore to them.
Assuming we get two killers, I definitely want Oni. I feel like seeing him through the villages would be great. Legion, Nurse, Hag and Ghostface could all be great.

The Plague will spawn in randomly throughout the match and throw up on you, causing you to get the broken status effect with no where to get rid of it.

The Hillbilly.
Learning how to use the chainsaw will allow you to get easy downs throughout the whole game. It took me a while but now, I use the hillbilly for every single game. Predicting where survivors run also can help! His perks aren't to bad as well.
As I play alot of Hillbilly myself, I know how to play against him, making him not as hard for me.
Love enduring, especially while playing him, lightborn I've heard many people love, especially on Wraith, and for Tinkerer its not that great, although better than its old variant.

Sadly they wouldn't let me blend with them although I tried my best. Also we ended up on sanctum of wrath, neither me or the killer had a great time.
Clearly it’s because they don’t want to reveal you. I’m guessing you hid so well that you didn’t know where you were, the killer couldn’t find you and the hatch despawned.
-
Personally an Xbox player, mainly due to Xbox exclusives.
-
Perks
Motherly Venom - Change it to either they leave no pools of blood or make no grunts of pain and I’d say this is a good perk that’s balanced.
Hex: Desperation - Overall balanced perk as it may be cleansed.
Depravity - This seems like a very good alternative to Thanataphobia, and personally I’d like to see it. My only problem is that some people would be a bit too altruistic once it stacked, but that’s only a play style so it should be fine.
Superstition - This has been something I’ve been against for along time now and I still am. Being able to know the killers or survivors perks without coming up against them. Let’s say the killer is using Noed, a perk that’s meant to surprise survivors at the end of the game, it’s now invalid because you know about it. The killer using Devour Hope? You are hunting instantly. Killer using BBQ or Nurses calling, well your play style has adapted. And I can’t even imagine this perk in swf. Instead I’d make it you see the aura of the killer and your team for 10/20/30 seconds.
Sheer fear - As long as it can’t be used in a chase AND the killer can pick up a survivor if they see them do it then sure.
Deathly Still - This sounds fine, personally I think it should be slightly longer (maybe 6/7/8 seconds?) because if the killer sees it start moving randomly they know someone is very close by.
Power
This sounds very interesting actually. A 105% movement speed killer with no map pressure but amazing in chases with 120% movement speed, with a way to counter the anti healing meta. Personally I’m for it, sounds like something I’d want to face.
-
Personally it is. If every survivor spends about a minute a match looking and cleansing the perk becomes invalid.
Additionally, and the main reason I find it balanced, when using it you are playing with 3 perks for the most of the game, not 4. This is a significant disadvantage in some cases. Additionally most good survivors will change ‘most of the game’ to ‘all of the game’.
-
@Reborn2020 said:
You could just appoach survivors while hiding and avoid those unnecessary changes.
I'm with Reborn here.
On all maps, although not all gens, you can approach outside of a LOS of the generator. Here it being worked on? Do your thing and attack them. If you don't here it being worked on then you move on.
-
Myers and Ghostface if they randomly grab me off a gen.
-
@Reborn2020 said:
I never had it happened to me.
It happens with some killers but not all.
It happens always to me for Oni, it's the first swing.

I literally hate survivors who don't know how to loop and just wait by each pallet. In understand it partially if it's a loop which you won't be able to go around even once, but if you can go for it, do it. I can't tell you how many times I've seen shack pallet dropped within the first minute because someone doesn't want to loop it.

Stop derailing the thread if you are unable to comprehend what it is about.
Ok onto the thread then. Personally they need to properly fix Ghostface, and with that comes Myers. Ghostface is ######### on both sides. He can be stalking you and it doesn't work, ans you could be staring him in the face and it wouldn't work.
-
Same with the exhaustion add ons.

I personally enjoy killer; even if I lose, as long as I get a lot of hooks. However, being forced to play killer because of survivor queues is simply put, getting old.
I'd like to play the other 50% of the game without having to waste the majority of my free time. 😕
It's not that I don't enjoy killer, not at all, it's just that many killers I can't play anymore if I want to have fun.
Let's take Trapper for example. Love him and I still do, but unless I three gen (which personally is a boring tactic) I have little to no chance of even getting a single kill.
-
Well that's what happens when people don't enjoy killer anymore. I used to be a 100% killer main, however it became impossible to have fun at high rank without add - ons and it just became unfun.
I'd be lucky to get a 2k because survivors would be on gens all the time.
I still play killer, but now I'm limited to Hillbilly, Nurse and Spirit unless I get really lucky and get a good map or poor survivors.
-
Was my mates 18th so we decided we would stay in his all night drinking and all that.
He had the game and I decided to give it a go and instantly fell in love with it.
Picked it up in Septemer 2017 and haven't looked back since.

I know right? I just don’t want to go out like that. You know I understand killer players believe it helps them catch up and all. But not when it ruins someone else’s experience. I mean I just feel like I wasted my time coming into the game and you don’t need to make people feel that way I don’t care who it benefits for what reason. That’s just upsetting that I spent money on a game to please some random killer that is allowed to bring an ebony Mori in every single game because it’s not even ultra rare item. It’s more like “common” with how much I saw it in my blood web past like... level 40. I saw them too much to where I was like, might as well bring this in every game because I got the points to get more. No worries. Screw everyone that queues up to play this game, and the next, so on and so forth. I just don’t think you understand that gen speed being too fast is the reason Mori’s are used is a viable excuse for this because, well, killers can still 4K without an ebony Mori. Bad killers can’t 😂 besides, I think gen speed needs to be fast for that reason. Killers can down and hook people too easy as well if killers are good at searching for them. I’ll admit I’m not the best looper, but that really means I deserve to go down, get hooked and Mori’d? That’s what I paid for? To please the killer? Especially since the killer walks out with 20-30K BP at the end of the match? Interesting. And they think survivors should be treated the same when it comes to losing ad ons and offerings. Killer ad ons are so much better. A brand new part doesn’t guarantee gen progress and even then its progress can be negated with ruin. An ebony Mori is almost a guaranteed ez kill that survivors can’t counter. How is it not counter able ? What about survivor offering that insta completes a gen to make up for it or something? Think about how hard it is for someone to get a hook off on someone when there’s hooks like every 5 feet. Not only that but how easy it is to either go undetectable and wait for someone to unhook or be the billy/spirit that goes away and comes back so fast you can’t even get away. Then you just get Mori’d? Nah.... that ain’t the type of game I like to play. It’s not a fair offering and I think it gets abused.
Exactly.
I'm fine with one or two if the killer is new, because everyone wants to see that mori, but then it just becomes annoying after I've had a 15 minute queue time. Atleast if it took some effort I could actually not be tunneled.
-
1. Have a few challenges left but I'm tier 70.
2. If it could be done in one match Id usually do it in one match.
3. Solo.
4. Usually 2-3 matches unless I've got a hard quest.

Same as you guys don’t want to be ran on as a killer. Most of the time I don’t survive though. Some Killers still be OP 😂 they ought to rework that damn ebony Mori. Make it more rare if they’re gonna keep it the same. But I believe every survivor needs to be hooked once before ANYBODY can be Mori’d.
This. That last statement you said is what I've been pushing for, for a long time.

Do you mean Small Game? Because Thrill of The Hunt does have a totem counter, but it's a killer perk.
Because if you mean Small Game I totally agree with you. Detective's Hunch is arguably almost better at actually finding totems, so it would be a cool little buff to Small Game.
You see this is why I'm going to fail my tests in July.

My hud(perk images, survivor states, gens remaining) disappeared on spawn. A few seconds later, I got on a gen to see that it wouldnt show gen progression, skill schecks, and the same applied to heals.
Ah ok, is this consistent or a one time thing. Also yes you deserve to be annoyed with that ban.
-
I'm very confused as to what that even meant...

I simply think Thrill of The Hunt should have a totem counter. That perk is in an urgent need of a buff.

Hes still my precious.

Gens should be fast if killers can take survivors out fast . Sorry but I think your arguments beat when it comes to which side needs help . And I don’t think it’s killers . They already hit toolboxes . Like the guy that started this post said, why would anyone want to sit there and watch a progress bar longer than what it is now? How is that supposed to be fun for survivors. Again you guys literally only think about yourselves lmao at least killers get to run around as they please wrecking havoc and pushing different buttons. Hell, I’d like it if I got to heal my teammates once in awhile rather than look at them on a hook with Kindred and see the killer standing there watching them. Hmm. Maybe that’s why gens fly. I don’t think it’s fair to control all 8 gens at once anyways. Just get who you can :)
you can’t pressure all survivors? Sounds like a personal problem. I’ve seen teammates get wiped from the game moments into it. I think they need to fix that, but they won’t. I don’t want to see teammates die that fast because they hook suicided thinking they couldn’t play anymore. They knew Mori was up next or the guy playing killers just hovering around him like a vulture. It’s just not that serious. Everyone’s much happier getting multiple chances to stay in the game. 4 kills should be the same as the amount of time I see myself getting out alive playing solo, 10% of the time. Lol. 1-3 sounds about right. Otherwise you’re just getting greedy. You gotta think man, these other 4 guys want some love too. We all just want a piece of the pie. Who are you to cut it short? They had to give you a secret weapon because you can’t handle letting a survivor go?
I'm a rank 1 survivor.....
