What was bt before
Old bt was it affected both the rescuer and the rescued survivor, but was only a once per trial perk, and rather than being th deep wound status effect, it was a special timer that went down in chases.
Personally the fact that it's one use made it much more balanced to me.
-
This doesn't happen for me unless I'm playing The Hag and I teleport, so because it practically never happens for me I'm going to say no... what side do you play, and if killer which one?
-
Personally it is gens speeds for one reason. You can't pressure all survivors. If you're a good killer and you're facing a team of good survivors, with most killers they can get 2-3 gens done by the time you hook a survivor and go to patrol gens again.
-
They hear their own heartbeats from what I'm aware.
-
Corrupt Intervention and Infectious Fright are great, Devour Hope can force survivors to make mistakes in traps, the last perk for me is usually pop goes the weasel.

I don't DC out of games, but the fact I paid for a game that dictates to me I must stay in the game or be punished is BS. Fix the damn bugs & balance the game before you punish paying customers.
Others paid for the game too. They deserve to not have their team dc.
-
Keys and Moris removed, borrowed time to be reverted. That's all the changes I really want at the moment.
-
This is most likely due to the lack of killer mains at high ranks. I'm finding alot of purple killers when playing survivor at reds.

Stronger? Depends. But they would be pretty similiar.
He has Billy's chainsaw, and after a while has an instant down basic attack too.

Yeah, Mori is 😂 I believe that because it allows you a short cut on your objectives which survivors don’t have. Brand new part doesn’t have as big of an impact as Ebony Mori does.
This might sound super shocking, but keys do the same thing.

I was thinking why not give Oni his dash as part of his base kit? He has no power until he hits someone but he has to find someone and then hit them. I think giving his dash as part of his base would really help him out while still having him get blood orbs to get a one shot would be fair.
This makes him practically a stronger version of Billy.

1. This was unfair and abused, especially back when pallets could spawn within 10m of each other.
2. Yeh this was a nerf, but showing the current meta, a needed one.
3. Again, looking at the meta, a needed nerf.
4. Was hit too hard personally, but was one of the strongest perks in the game prior.
5. Nerfed due to an infinite loop that all killers except clown or doc could stop.
6. A killer that takes alot of practice to learn, similar to Nurse, however is easier (although not as good).
7. Yeh these need a nerf, anyone else who argues clearly hasn't seen a decent Huntress use them.
8. Mirror Myers causes him to be very slow, and has no lunge what so ever, you should be able to loop him forever once you get into a chase.
9. Everything you've said here is right.
10. Made just so survivors wouldn't take hostage of the game and camp in corners of the map.
11. Noed is the only killer second chance perk, maybe spirit fury, but that takes atleast a bit of work to get.
12. Legions bug was patched within the same PTB, also could argue that the DS doc bug was fixed within a week while noises for killers have been bugged for months.
13. You play Xbox then???
14. If you're talking about slugging then that's not holding the game hostage.
15. I hate killers that DC unless they've got a reason. Same with my team.
16. I believe this is because camping and tunneling isn't abusing anything, weather it's a perk or power, while running into a locker gives the killer two choices. Leave or eat the DS.
-
I believe they do stack, any perk or add on that doesn't stack states so (such as We'll make it).

Have you ever seen a killer so bad that you thought that he has NOED 100%? Now compare it with the times that you saw a good killer and thought that he has NOED. Yeah, the second case is inexistent because they don't have it . You're trash for running, no one blames you because running low tier killers is a death sentence, but you're still trash.
I've seen many rank 1 killers use Noed, especially in the gen rush meta.

I'd be against it. F13 has it and its horrible. Either people blast their horrible taste in music directly into your eardrums or you get 11year olds screaming for their lives. It would kill me if DbD implemented it...
Then a mute button could be implemented. You could possibly also report people for using it incorrectly.

Did they add any chapter from ideas like from me or others??
Chapters, usually not. They might be inspired by a power and base the next killer around that, but for the most part no.

Agree but I wonder why now when the rift almost closes and not when it started?
Most people (including myself) leave the harder and more annoying challenges till last. That's probably why.
-
Personally people under estimate how good Feral Frenzy can be.
If you're good with it you can:
- Slow the game down (just a lil bit).
- Have great map pressure.
- Body block windows and pallets.
- Completely deny loops.
He's still a weak killer, but many people ever since his nerf haven't given him a good try.

If four people are escaping through the hatch its not really all that early. All gens would have to be done...
The only issue I have is that a mori used early can swing the whole game to an easy win for the killer. Keys cant be used "early" they can only be used after a certain point.
Ok let's switch it a bit. The survivors three gen themselves and the killer is very competent, denying the survivors to even get 50% on a gen. One survivor has a key, so they all decide to find the hatch and escape, robbing the killer of a possible 4k.
It can also rob the killer from a single kill if the killer finds the hatch first.
Now obviously moris are very strong too, but saying moris are unbalanced while keys are is completely false, and this is coming from someone who is rank 1 on both sides.
-
@SurviveByDaylight said:
Keys and Mori’s are not equal so first of all people shouldn’t compare the two as if they were. Keys can only be used once All gens are done or survivors have already died, which , in my opinion is fair because you’ve already had your share as a killer And they’ve already done the work. However, Mori’s allow killers to cheat on their objectives because it robs survivors of two more hooks. I can understand yellow Mori’s being okay but not green or ebony. The ebony one shouldn’t even be usable until all at least all survivors have been hooked once. That would be more fair. Because then you’ve done your share of the work on your end.
Keys may be used once but can allow four survivors to escape, completing the survivors goal early.
Moris may be used more than once, and they complete the killers goal early.
Keys reward people who can't play well enough to escape normally. Same with moris. If you don't see that both are unbalanced and are comparable then you clearly main survivor.
The only thing I can agree with on your comment is the change you'd make to an ebony. Killer does well and doesn't tunnel, they get their mori.

Thanks for explaining! I was confused as ######### because I never lost my event cosmetics yet people were complaining.
-
Yeh, just let your team do it! I hate when people kobe but I'm running We'll make it!

Personally I'll use corrupt intervention, whispers, sloppy butcher and pop goes the weasel.

On the dbd wiki it says; "The Shape's in-game name is a reference to the original 1978 Movie. During the credits, the role of 'Michael Myers' is instead credited as 'The Shape'." Hope that helped.
So that's where it comes from! Thanks
-
If I complete a trial in which I get three gens completed and go unbroken, however win a chase and we don't get an unhook because the killer either camps late game or doesnt get a hook, I'd safety pip.
It works the same on both sides.

Or for the cleanse 12 totems challenge in the archives that everyone hated.

Currently tier 70 with 2 challenges left. Yet to buy a tier. I've definitely racked up more game time this rift so that may suggest why.
-
I'm honestly not sure about this. I occasionally do this if I completely give up in a game, but if youre doing it for Xp it may be bannable.
-
Yes this is bannable and I'd reccomend sending a ticket.
-
The Trapper : Sets Traps...hunters who pay traps are often known as trappers.
The Wraith : Wraiths are known as ghosts that are season before or after the death of someone. Wraith can also mean Shadow.
The Hillbilly : Hillbilly is a slang word for farmers.
The Hag: Hags are someone who is ugly. Hag has no skin so that's where she gets it from.
The Huntress: Female hunter.
The Cannibal and The Shape I'm unsure about, but my best guesses are in Texas Chainsaw Massacre bubba and his family are cannibals, and The Shape simply stands still often.
The Spirit : Has a husk form, you could interpret it as she's leaving her body only to return her body somewhere else, and her power is her spirit roaming.
The Clown : He worked at a circus.
The Plague : Was captured by the entity just before her death as she was nearly killed by a plague and inflicts plagues on others in the entities realm.
I'm probably mis-understanding the question but I hope this is right.

Ill go in order.
Do you mean see as in spawned in or aura reading? ((I really think killer should gain a perk that lets them see hatch))
Only user or make the animation last longer so two/three people cant hop in right in front of killer.
Hatch standoffs would happen again which is precisely why closing started.
Perhaps "once the hatch has been opened once by a key it cant be reopened by another key" instead.
Moris:
Okay
Ebony either that OR a survivor has to be on deathhook to mori. Ivory Mori is much more balanced but maybe make it so you need to have at least 2 hooks so far(maybe not someone on death hook im unsure). Ivory moris adds a ton of pressure without being game ending for the entirety of survs. Especially if a good team where 2-3 gens get down before the first hook.
Personally ive only used keys and moris for challenges/if i find a key ingame.(which i find raw more often than with perks to help me find them lol)
Another key change idea would be they dont drop on death unless they were found in the map? Unsure if thats codable doe.
As for the first one I mean spawns in. If the killer would see the aura that’d be too strong hands down.
The killer can’t grab a normal survivor jumping in, only key users.
Only one key per game would also work.
There is no point in a mori if they’re on death hook imo. Makes them completely useless and might as well make them all uncommon if that was the case.
Like you, I play both sides and don’t use keys unless it’s a quest and moris unless it’s a quest or it’s a new killer.
-
Hmm you're saying "If killers get to have mori's, then survivors should get instant gen perks or offereings to compensate."
Something to complete survivors objectives early.
Ever heard of a key?
Both keys and moris need balancing simple as that.
-
The annoying thing for me is that swf ruin this perk. I'm a solo player and I love this perk because it helps me position myself better and even duke the killer, and although its balanced in those situations, I do understand that its completely unbalanced with swf.
-
@SnakeSound222 said:
It’s fine the way it is. Just get good at skill checks.
Also, half the situations aren’t actual tunneling and just you looking for a reason to use the perk.

So one perk rework made it entirely survivor sided? I think you may be being a little biased
The game was fairly balanced up until that point. I never had an easy game as r1 survivor and had fun games as r1 killer where I could play whoever I wanted.
Now my killer range is extremely reduced unless I use unfun perks with boring tactics.
Survivor matches are now much easier than they've ever been for me. I'm very rarely not rank 1 and rarely do I have a match that makes me think that I had alot of fun against a challenging killer.
The problem was with nerfing Ruin was that it wasn't just a big perk nerf to the perk, it was a massive blow to so many killers that it makes them hard to play effectively and efficiently at high ranks.

So you playing with a team?
I'm confused as to what you mean by this question...
-
CheersTC playing Dead by Daylight: Special Edition
Also the game is survivor sided, and ever since the Ruin nerf (besides me messing with Jane for challenges) I've never gone below rank 2. As for killer my rank has been fluctuating since January.
-
Toxicity and it would promote the game to younger audiences which is the last thing this game needs right now.
-
Write a ticket. I believe you can simply search it up . https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000556983-How-do-I-submit-a-support-ticket-
This should help.
-
They're poor on both sides as all survivors have a circular model rather than one that fits their body.
As a Huntress I've thrown through their head and missed, and then thrown a hatchet that clearly missed them but still hit.
-
I prefer them. More challenging matches as a survivor and more fair matches as a killer.
-
Instead I think prices of all items and perks should decrease by 10% per prestige.
-

There are a lot of south African players but not so many servers.. I never have a game below 200ping..it's either 240 or 280. And every hit is like a long range attack from killers. Pallets don't work as they are supposed to be. And this is every game. Can there be more SA servers?
Everyone should deserve to play the game so I agree with this, if the devs can make it possible.

Unless its endgame collapse, I never see a red rank killer camp. The occasional tunnel, yes, but camping? Not in a long time have I seen this.

Because they're ######### at the game.
Camping is a viable tactic. I'm guessing you think people who use moris are like this too.
-
The way I see it is that if someone backs it up with good evidence that's true, I'll agree with them. My mind is constantly flickering between ds is balanced and ds is unbalanced due to people being able to make good arguments.

Not telling that you are, but this excuse is coming usually from this type of players. The benefit clearly outclasses the negatives.
I don't struggle often when I'm solo, nor do most rank ones I come up with have a hard time. Although this would make it much easier, it's already not a challenge, and my favourite matches are the challenging ones, not the ones where I escape in five minutes.
-
There isn't much you can do unless you're a killer who can end chases quickly or can apply a massive amount of pressure. Now there are other ways, but sometimes camping and tunneling is required to win games as much as I dislike it occurring when I'm playing survivor.
