Just because it says the survivors name doesn't mean only that survivor used it. If 5 people use bond, they don't have to be Dwight players, they could be a Claudette or a Meg, or any other survivor.

The tier list is a scam mentality. It isn't real. The tier list is simply "how well do the rest of the killers compare to Nurse?" "Low-tier" killers have great stuff going for them, just gotta play them the way their power/style encourages
This.
All low tier killers work great in their own right.

Yet to do this with survivors, did buy Oni and Clown with auric cells though.

True but i always get really bad trapper so yeah
A good Trapper doesn't hide his traps in plain sight, but rather around the loop so people don't disarm them.

Probably a hacker who somehow made it pass eac. The handful do.

Actually I agree with the upper half except Legion. The lower half is weird, I wonder how you think that Demo, Doctor and Plague are worse then Myers or Oni.
Legion is one of my mains, so that's probably some of my bias showing, although I believe they're strong in alot of situations.
Demo, Doctor and Plague I simply never struggle playing against, I've seen good Doctors, but very few good Plagues and not a single good Demodog. Additionally for me Myers and Oni are strong. Oni can completely deny loops and Myers punishes mistakes.
-
This is very accurate. The only one I argue with is Trapper, who could probably be afraid to play loops against a good one.
-
Mothers dwelling isn't super open though, meaning that survivors can't just travel from one corner to the other quickly.

Personally anyone who puts Freddy above Oni I think is a joke. Oni is a super strong killer who can snowball a game quicker than any other killer. He is up there with hillbilly arguably better. I've been seeing a lot more onis in red ranks than hillbillys and spirits. I dont even see many freddys.
Oni for me is a weaker version of Billy, and Freddy can end chases super quick with trap spam.
-
Personally iridescent heads should not be able to be used any belt add ons.

This is mine, ordered in each tier also. Many people will disagree with this one...
-
I'd say mid - late April, that's only a guess though.
-
Most likely due to a high amount of users, both due to everyone being off and the bloodrush, servers can only take so much before they start to lag, and Dead by Daylight isn't the only game effected by this.
-
For me this is a killers paradise. I'm yet to have more than two survivors escape.

Hag would just place a trap? Do you mean Huntress?
I don't play Hag so I just assume they'd run it like a normal loop, I'm guessing by your reaction I'm completely wrong.

From what I could gather, they were never implemented on the Xbox version, so i'm not sure if they ever were implemented for that version in the first place. Sometimes I see PS4 and Xbox as the same thing, so I just assumed that since PS4 has them (I believe) than Xbox would have them too.
With all that being said, there hasn't been anything about the "return" and/or implementation of Dedicated Servers on Xbox, at least from what I could gather in a short time.
Dedicated servers on Xbox were added sometime in between the archives level III announcement and the release of the dark devotee outfit.
Dedicated servers were removed sometime in between the dark devotee outfit being released and archives level IV.

You can confirm this yourself by checking if you can see each Survivors ping WHILE you sit in a Pre-lobby as the Killer.
From what I know they were in January/February.
-
First of all don't be afraid to reload during chases. Sometimes you need it.
Make sure to shoot if a survivor is vaulting a window (unless they fall downwards from said window).
If a survivor is running a straight line, shoot them.
If they're at a loop where you have limited LOS, loop it normally as if you were a hag.
Run perks like Pop to slow the game down.
If you've got any specific questions feel free to ask.
-
Alot of maps are dark with a lot of shadows, as no map takes place during normal hours. This may be why, although I never really focused on it.
-
I’ll try and join this when it’s ready, can’t wait :)
-
I think it should be based on charges used.
25% charges used : Higher rarity add on lost
75% charges used : lower rarity add on lost
-
My first recommendation is learn to play with your ears and not your eyes. Obviously this is easier said than done, but it will help significantly.
Next of all learn how survivors run loops. Learning how they run them allows you to make bold predictions.
Finally don't save your power for the chase. Use it for patrolling generators too.

Alright so I think this is a good opportunity for an educational moment, rather than typical snark. So I'll try to cover why Freddy is probably the best killer in dead by daylight at the current moment in as TL:DR a manner as I can.
First off the dreamworld gives you no terror radius, as survivors are in the oblivious state. Freddy also can't be seen past 32 meters to awake survivors, and you can reduce this to 24 meters with the pill bottle. You only appear intermittently to survivors from 16 to 32 meters meaning Freddy often gets hits on awake survivors simply because they didn't even see him coming.
Now I'll move onto his traps, the issue is you've either gone against dumb Freddy's who thought his traps are like Hag's or Trappers, which they aren't. His traps are more Akin to the Doctor's shock therapy ability, but instead of preventing actions they slow survivors down. Freddy employs his traps when survivors get to a loop to slow them down and end the loop quickly. Let's say I come to a standard pallet loop. I will place traps at both ends of the loop then chase the survivor around the loop (Freddy can put down traps literally on the run, unlike hag who has an animation) and they will inevitably be forced with two bad choices, either loop wide and lose ground to me since I'm faster, or take the slow and likely get hit. Even worse, if the Freddy is employing a Z or Unicorn block, you now have hemorrhage or blindness for 60 seconds as well, though admittedly this is a minor factor.
As others have said in his post his ability to teleport across the map is incredibly effective for two reasons. One it allows him to tons of map mobility and getting to another survivor after say hooking one is incredibly strong. Second this allows him to deliver direct generator regression in the form of Pop Goes the Weasel as fast any killer can deliver it to the priority generator. If you combine Pop goes the weasel with either Thrilling Tremors or BBQ and Chili you will immediately see which generator survivors are working on upon hooking someone, allowing you to teleport to it in less than 4 seconds and delivering a 25% total regression. That is INCREDIBLY STRONG. Even Billy can't do something like that.
Honestly I think most Freddy's don't use fake pallets unless they wanna meme or do a "what is real" build, traps are significantly more useful.
OH I almost forgot, you wanna talk about repair slowdown? Swing Chains slow down repair speed for all survivors even while awake, and that repair speed slowdown multiplies for each survivor in the dream world. Did I mention Freddy puts survivors in the dream world passively? No hits required, immediate slowdown all game without doing anything. And if you wanna be a major prick, feel free to employ "Forever Freddy". Red Paint Brush forces survivors to either wake each other up (which takes longer and longer to do) or routinely go find dream alarms to wake up as Red Paint Brush prevents wake up from skill checks. Combine Red Paint Brush + Swing Chains + the new Hex: Ruin with a Class Photo and survivors will be constantly under heavy repair penalty, while losing progress everytime they let go of a generator, which will happen often because with class photo whenever you teleport all the generators spout blood. If you run forever Freddy and DON'T get flamed in after-game chat you are the second coming of Jesus, please sign my yearbook.
So what you have is a killer who can teleport across the map and with perk assistance always be in prime position to regress a priority generator, traps that can end loops at an almost clown-like level, baseline oblivious when they are in the dreamworld, addons that absolutely make it a nightmare to repair anything, and addons that can make it seem like he's teleporting to every generator at once.
In short, brother's strong yo.
Well I'm glad you explained that, because then I face Freddy mains who appear to be very dumb.
-
I also hate that they were poorly advertised, but people give them a bad name despite them being good.
-
I would be for it if the perk Hex: Haunted Grounds, aswell as people who run full hex builds, didn't exist.

He has a power to help end chases and map pressure in the form of his teleport and the Dream World.
His power also combines and compliments some of the strongest powers in the game right now.
You also don't have to devote several months of your life straight into learning how to play him well, unlike Nurse.
His map pressure I understand. Being able to teleport is great and does allow pressure of he goes to the right generator.
His traps, if they're pallets or does blood pools, don't phase me. I try to run through blood pools when not in a chase and asleep if I see one. If I'm in a chase I'll either tank it or run around it.
I usually pay attention to every pallet early game if I'm against a Freddy, and I usually go for only pallets I know are real.
-
Plague has great perks, but average gameplay.
Myers has some great perks too, and great gameplay.
I'd say Myers, but Plague can also be fun, she's not my cup of tea though.

Legion can be really good for ranking up. 28 stab wounds and all.
The problem is their ability to secure downs does seem near non-existant.
Freddy is also THE top killer at the monent, or at least one who isn't Nurse. Bold claim that the Legion can be better than them.
The problem that I always have is why do people consider Freddy so good.
I don't think he's all that good or fun to play as, and he isn't a hard game playing against him.

Yes, a lot of it, over multiple years.
Spirit at least has a learning curve, Billy's entire kit can be learned in one game.
Spirit requires reads and using hearing which is bugged on DBD, Billy can literally just get behind someone and chainsaw.
Spirit has to use her power for mobility, Billy can use his power for mobility and instantly stop and start using his power to insta-down someone.
To pretend that Billy requires skill and somehow Spirit doesn't is objectively false.
Yet again, my personal experience.
One reason that may have affected this is that I'm partially blind in my right eye, so I'm used to not using my sight, but rather my hearing to find survivors.
-
@Kwikwitted said:
So much wrong here.
First off, the idea that Legion is somehow better than any of those killers, in particular Freddy is laughable. Freddy is without question one of the strongest killers in the game by a mile, and Legion isn't fit to hold his jockstrap. This is coming from someone who plays Legion quite regularly.
Second, the term "map pressure" means literally nothing. Traversing the map quickly means precisely nothing if you can't do anything once you get there. Legion's power is either injury or mobility, it doesn't get to be both because he needs to hit often to keep recharging it. Meanwhile Billy can sprint across the entire map, stop and immediately rev to insta-down a survivor. Map pressure without kill pressure is useless.
And good lord if I have to listen to one more poster on these forums talking about how Thanatophobia is a good perk. Is math really lost on this generation?
First off, let's ignore the fact that you have to get 4 people injured for maximum effect of 16%. But even at four people injured, an 80 second generator will now take.......an extra 12.8 seconds. OH SNAP! THAT GENERATOR SLOWDOWN SON. We are literally talking a 3.2 seconds PER INJURY. It's a terrible perk and everytime one of you people talks about it like it's some amazing perk cause you read the tooltip I die a little inside.
And blood echo? I can't even.
Now they are not "in actual fact fairly strong". He's a mediocre killer that I enjoy as a guilty pleasure (and the fact that he's a BP machine thanks to tons of meaningless hits) but to pretend he's strong, particularly against a coordinated or even semi-optimal team is laughable.
I mainly think he's better then Freddy because they can simply slow down the game so much more (as long as speed reduction add ons aren't being used). Yes Freddy can teleport to gens, giving him great map pressure on some maps, but against a team that get the job done where he can't delay them all, he struggles. Also his traps CAN be good but often survivors can avoid them in some way.
Secondly, use it right? It's both! Especially in an anti-healing meta, commonly seen against the Legion, you're there and you're on an injured survivor. Yes there might be no one at that generator, so then you continue to patrol.
Finally here is why Thanataphobia and Blood Echo are great perks on The Legion.
Survivors have to spend 12 seconds mending themselves and an extra 12 seconds repairing that generator (If everyone is injured which is common facing The Legion). This is like a Pop goes the weasel that can be used without having to get a hook.
Blood Echo is mainly useful for the fact is causes survivors to be exhausted. Any of their exhaustion perks are useless if I find them quick.

That's completely fine. Until you face some of those good survivors and you wont get a down without losing a gen. They will force you to chase them for at least 30 seconds and you'll lose a gen every time
Trust me I've faced many, many good survivors. Not including my first few games as him, I'm yet to get a 0k, and I've only got a handful of 1ks.

You actually think Hillbilly takes more skill than someone like Spirit? I mean, what?
At least spirit has to make reads, do some level of mind-gaming. Billy is a blunt instrument, he's a sentimental favorite of mine and he's the first killer I climbed to Rank 1 with, and to this day, the ONLY killer I've ever bothered to prestige (cause who cares about bloody versions of standard clothes when you've got cosmetics?) but he's as simplistic as they come, the only level of skill on Hillbilly is learning to back-rev and if you are so inclined learning to play drift king but it is hardly required to be effective with him.
Personal experience.

In theory you are right. That's what I thought. But as you play him you will see that your games last slightly longer but you will get no kills. The problem with Legion is his power does nothing to help him down and snowball. He can be looped for days. Best slowdown but worst chase in the game.
I'd argue there. Most of my games are 3-4k with Legion, with most 3ks being a hatch escape. Usually I pip and I have a gen or two lefts by the end.

I have no doubt that it is easier for people to obtain tier 70 considering the world situation, but as you can see from my screenshots this is clearly not the case for everyone. To top of the fact that i now have 13 levels left i have no goals ingame making me burnout even quicker my 3 games after completing the last challenge completely turned me off from even playing DBD at all. And that is an issue that can and should be looked into.
Fair enough, everyone has different play times, so yes this should be looked into.

I made it to tier 70 with some incomplete challenges, although I have played alot the last few weeks due to the virus.

That may goes for you, but thats obviously just a personal thing. Most players just play the OP stuff, cause nothing else "stands a chance", even if thats totally nonsense. Ands thats why mostly you have to face spirits and freddys, cause theyre braindead to play. Otherwise those players wouldnt get a single thing done, cause they lack skill.
In the current meta, most of the best killers are ones that don't take skill. Now there are ones that do take skill such as Hillbilly and Nurse, but both of them take time, and many people don't want to put in the effort.

Moris do require 1 hook. Should require 2. Keys taking 10 to 20 is too long. Keys should be limited to user only. 1 key, one escapee. If you let someone else out that is your choice.
SWF.....I don't know what the answer is there. The just for fun SWF seems to be fading and replaced with the bully the killer SWF. It is quite frustrating when you try to not be toxic just to have 4 jerks harass you all game.
You took that the wrong way.
At the moment, let's say you bring a green mori. Usually you'll have to hook a survivor once to be able to mori that survivor.
What I want is that is that you have to hook EVERY survivor to be able to mori that single survivor.
-
I try to track my results each game, and I’ll usually record a game and self analyse it. Might start doing ones for other people.
-
Keep Swf, nerf keys and moris
Keys should produce a loud noise notification and take 10-20 seconds
Moris should require you to hook everyone at least once.
-
They nerfed toolboxes to make them like this. This isn’t a bug.
-
@Deathslinger said:
Also just tweeted that new skin, looks pretty sick.
Might need to get that.
-
Thanks Devs :D
-
Not really no. If I see that they’ve made a noise and they’re not on a generator, that means I know that the survivor that made the noise is not on a generator.
-
Because these are generally the strongest killers that don’t take along time to learn.
Freddy you can pick up in your first match.
Spirit takes a few matches to learn but useful with map pressure regardless of skill.
Huntress is genuinely hard to perfect, but new Huntresses just wait for loops up until they throw hatchets.
