I’ve also seen entitled killer mains throughout my time.
”Wow you use Quick & Quite with Lithe? Lol noob.”
”You can’t even escape without your team body blocking me from hitting you.”
and my favourite
”You can’t win without meta perks!” (Apparently aftercare, spinechill, lithe and q&q are meta)
There are many entitled survivors, but there are also entitled killers.

the more games i have with him now as solo or duo, the more ridiculous they get! i don't think he's balanced. most games now only one gen done, i find them to take the game hostage or they just tunnel
Well if you think he's strong than you clearly haven't faced a good Huntress.
He doesn't need any changes, except maybe a movement speed increase outside of the chase.
-
I get this too.
-
This would be great, and would definitely help out those weaker killers with no mobility like Bubba and Clown.
-
Coming from someone who mains Hillbilly at rank 1, once you learn how to play as him, you'll rarely lose against him.
-
Balanced landing and exhaustion nerfs were great, for me Ruin was too.
Hangmans truck was bad. It needed a nerf from the Beta, but not that bad. I also think changing borrowed time was bad, and I wish it was reverted.
-
It was nerfed due to it having an 80% use rate in high ranks, while no survivor perks get near that standard.
Also personally I like the new ruin. Its not as good as pre-nerf ruin, but it works well.

Had a tunneling Freddy did nothing but who tunneled everyone to death, but still got all the gens done and got the rest of his 2 kills because of NOED. 1 person had 9k - I had 10k another survivor - had 11k and last survivor had 13k. Freddy walked out the match with 31k I kid you not 31,068 bloodpoints and I’ll he did was tunnel off hook. HOW IS THIS FAIR.
Okay is this actual tunneling or the killer going for someone because they're injured.
-
Also Xbox here.
I rarely see Noed, and its usually extremely obvious if they have it because you can usually tell what perks a killer has.

right because R1 killers have upgraded facecamping to tunneling off the hook for "efficiency" (and i mean killers that are dropping chase just to down and pick up unhooked surv)
I never see this unless the killer is for some reason running make your choice, which is a perk rarely used as it is.

There really is no point in contributing to a post that includes "change my mind" in the body and/or title, because that means the OP is stubborn and in most cases is blinded by their own ignorance. Most cases
The point is I want to see if someone can change my mind. I'm more than open to changing my opinion if someone can, although not much people have convinced me.

It wouldnt be bad if they made it so that only one character could be played in a match. So no 2 claudettes etc.
Then what'd happen if two people were level 50 Claudettes but level 1 on everything else?
-
@Jejune said:
No because people eventually get good at skillchecks
And??? I still every few matches miss a skill check by a tiny bit going for a great one.
-
Don't see any problem with buffing a rarely used perk.
-
Unless this is only happening to xbox one x, I haven't been experiencing this, although I hope the devs fix this soon.
-
You thought gen rushing was hard against four players???
Try eight players instead!
-
Me and this Huntress had a match, I'd say about a month ago.
This Huntress was Rank 10, my team mates were also green ranks but I was rank 1.
I end up dying at the end, we got a gen or two done but she found hatch first and wasn't much I could do after a bit of unlucky door spawns, aswell as the fact she could hit me from 20m away if she saw me.
Started with a gg wp, before laughing about how matchmaking is broken, and now we train with each other on loops most days a week for about an hour.
-
Can you explain more? Has something happened in the last few hours?
-
@Peanits said:
It would be an easy win in some ways, but not so much in others. For what it's worth, there are people out there who prefer the longer cooldown. Having a loud noise go off every 8 seconds can be distracting and cause you to miss other loud noises (failed skill checks) or impair your hearing in a chase.
Pros:
- T3 would arguably be better afterwards, and it would all make sense.
Cons:
- Everyone who left it at T1 would have to get the T3 version on all of their killers.
- Anyone who does like the longer time in between can't downgrade.
That said, we are aware of Discordance. We know that there's people out there who prefer tier 1 over tier 3. But at the same time, it's a low priority since it's not really hurting anyone as is and you can choose not to level it up if you prefer the lower tiered version of it.
That's part of the problem though. Although we can choose to not level it up, what happens if we are forced too on early bloodwebs?

Anyone can get 4's at Brown, Yellow and Green Ranks.
But eventually you'll start to climb the ladder, and you'll realize how wrong you were.
And yet I'm doing this at rank 1. I've already climbed that mountain, and I realised that it was easier than oh so many said the hike would be.

@BeHasU said:
10 rift fragments for 1 tier is kinda much, especially when you get 1 rift fragment for 800 xp, i mean you have to play 20ish games for one tier without any challanges, this is insane.
Although I do think they need to fix challenges, it's more 10-15. Matches, which still isn't great, but just want everyone to be informed.

So you admit when you play killer your enemies are usually potatoes.
They play very similar to my team mates. Sometimes with my team we'll all escape, some games it'll be a 2k and sometimes the killer will completely destroy us.

@Nurgling7 said:
Openly admitting that the game favors one side more than the other do doesnt seem like a good argument for balance, even partially.
The thing is, the game is survivor sided, but not near as bad as people claim it is. That was the main point of the argument.
-
@inferjus said:
If you manage to get 4k all the time, then devs should buff survivors and/or nerf killers.
I would agree with that statement, however the one thing that holds me back is my experience with survivor is completely different.
-
@Dr_Trauts said:
I mean, every killer has the ability to kill sure. even clown. but when saying that your assuming the survivors are going to make many mistakes. killers like clown and bubba have bad mobility, so on certain large maps like ormond generators get finished before you can even walk to the other end of the map. absolutely no counterplay so maps are an issue for some killers
going against coordinated swf groups allows the chased survivor to tell the others to work on generators, knowing the killer wont come near them. and if he does theres little danger in getting caught as they would be warned. so map pressure is not great in some matches.
survivors have multiple second chance perks making any chase potentially go on for the whole map, especially if loops and pallets are taken into consideration.
Every killer CAN kill yes. But you;d have to capitalise on survivor mistakes to make it a reality, and when your best chance of success is on the opponents mistakes, thats not a balanced game.
Like you stated certain killers have to rely on much more mistakes then others, aswell as maps playing a big part into it, however a good killer can force mistakes. Obviously very good survivors won't fall for these dukes, but that comes with loads of hours into the game.

Lol yes it does, ever went against a legit red rank swf? It's not winnable. Not hard I said, not winnable.
Why do community tournaments have such heavy restrictions on survs you think?
Otz who is a really good killer got completely destroyed by some top level swf a few days ago running non meta perks.
I've faced a full swf group and been destroyed, and I've faced a full swf group and pushed through with ease. Although swf does help gens get complete, it isn't always viable, and if you can consistently down survivors you are decreasing how fast they can work up until you sacrifice one or two, or possibly more.
-
@HES_GOT_DED_AHD said:
Game is ALRIGHT solo surv
Game is broken vs swf
Both in the same mode cannot be balanced
Killers against solo survs needs tweaks
Killers against swf would basically need 8 perks.
Although a swf makes it harder (and its evident when it's a swf) it doesn't make it impossible.

"Not nearly as bad as some say. Change my mind."
Okay. Three gens in two minutes. I can't pressure gens if I have to find someone, and hunt them down. It's not that I suck, it's because gens are way too fast.
All I can say to that is unlucky. You'll have games like that, and the one tip I can say to that is if a game is going south, 3 gen. It's often your last lifeline and if you do it right you can get a 4k.
-
Usually I do 2-3 totems a game, so if my team fail to take care of the others then I'm more than fine with us all dying to Noed.

Apparently you are a god and we are all scrubs unworthy of your presence.
Nah the real gods are people who use Noed, moris and instant down add ons all in one build.
-
@BigTimeGamer said:
Making addons disappear when you escape is stupid as it means that item addons = killer addons which doesnt add up as their are vastly more addons for survivors to sift through
Change my mind
I can't. I think survivors should lose their add ons if they use up the whole item, but the current state of items and add ons is stupid.
-
0 teachables, that's going to be a tough one, but the best build I can think of is a basement build. Agitation, Iron grasp, and then two good perks for him are brutal strength and spies from the shadows.
Hope this helped.

I like math. Did you math include your play style, the number of SWF groups you are playing, the experience accumulated by each survivor and take into consideration the BP bonus and public lockdown, bringing some people back to this game after a long break and also encouraging others to make stupid mistakes in the hopes of more BP?
Im just jokingly pointing out that getting a 4k isn’t hard or special, especially if your not earning Iridescent emblems and opting to just get a 4k and consider it a win. Hell, the Entity doesn’t even consider that a win half the time :D
Usually I get a pip or double pip, the few times I haven't is either all gold emblems or a survivor or two died on first hook. As I can't rank up past rank 1, I consider a 4k a win, even a 3k with a hatch escape.
Also the entity is clearly survivor sided :p

"I gEt 4K's EveRyGaMe iTs BaLanCeD"
Well when you're getting 4k consistently playing as a killer considered weak by many, you do have to question if the game is balanced.
-
@Dreamnomad said:
What rank are you as killer?
Rank 1 at the moment.

@Oicimau said:
I dont have an opinion about it. Change my mind. :D
Well your opinion is you don't have an opinion, so technically you do have an opinion.

@GodDamn_Angela said:
I was going to agree, because I agree that the game is more balanced than most people believe it is, but then you used the "I get 4ks AlL tHe TiMe" arguement as, basically, your only standing point. And then I tossed basically your whole opinion in the trashbin.
No reason to even attempt trying to change your mind because when someone says "change my mind" it is never going to happen. And it never has. Change my mind.
That's the whole point though, is it not? The killers job is to get kills and as much as possible. Anyways, currently in an attempt to try to see if killers are as weak as people claim I've started using many killers, including The Legion who I've been tracking stats with and will make a post once I get to 50 games.
I'm about half way through and I've been consistently getting 3ks or 4ks, with very few survivors being able to escape through and exit gate.

@YaiPa said:
math should change your mind. applying pressure is the biggest bullshit people invented to justifiy this game total unbalance. If you win, survivors are bad, period. With how many tools survivors have, being the power role in terms of numbers, objective and loop power, on paper is impossible for them to lose.
The assumption that survivors are bad due to you winning isn't necessarily true, but rather the survivor made mistakes or the killer was really good.
-
I'd treat them the same as everyone going into the trial, although it may change depending on their skill.
-
Happening on Xbox too.
-
Good luck in the future mate and I hope you enjoy what ever you move onto to.
-
Sadly I can't relate to this, but the devs should take inspiration from this, and possibly every now and then ask good players who play both sides alot, or are very knowledgeable on their own side, what needs balancing.
-
Personally I'm not in favour of either of these.
Moris would become completely useless at that point, and the amount of times I get decisive striked is very little. Same the opposite way round, rarely do I get to use decisive strike when running it. I'm in favour of a mori change, but not this.
Keys for me should work whenever rather then at a certain period, although should only be able to be used by one survivor, and then instantly closes and starts end game collapse. I don't see keys that often, but when I do it is annoying, or great if I'm the one escaping, but I also think keys need a change.
-
Great time to play some more killer :D
-
Clearly you're stuck in a lower rank. I never find campers in rank 1, even when facing killers that are purple ranks. Also camping is a legitimate strategy that can be countered with ease.
-
And yet when I play rank 1 the survivors are purple...
-
For the brief period it was there it worked out fine for me.

Dedicated servers will never match both screens, theyll be close, but not exact,
i think they are FAR from close
In a game like this where everything is slow, it seems like that, but in reality they're fairly close. Yes sometimes they can be bad, but I've seen these problems very little when over at a mates who has Playstation or PC, or even the brief period it was on Xbox.
-
It hit for the killer. I'm telling you true wouldve hit loads of those yet on the survivors screen it shouldn't have.
Dedicated servers will never match both screens, theyll be close, but not exact, that is what happened in the clip where he was hit through the window.
