  • That's why I bought GhostFace, the teabags after I down a survivor are just too satisfying 😂

  • I saw that hook too and found it really weird right there next to the basement. They can simply move it a bit, in my opinion

  • @JoByDaylight said:

I used to hate them, up until I startd to bring Bond into my solo matches on a regular basis. That makes it much easier to coordinate heals etc so now I don't hate them anymore.

The problem is the amount of time you where slugged. Really boring.

You're right. I use Bond with Open Handed so I know what my teammates are doing from very far away. I also bring prove Thyself just in case they are on a gen so we can do it faster. As 4th perk I bring We'll make it because of 100% fast heals once I unhook a survivor for 90 seconds

  • In my opinion, playing killer is much harder on controller than playing survivor. Mainly because of killer being in first person and survivor being in third person.

  • I think around 45k with glyphs or during Lunar New Year event. If we talk about bloodpoints... well I got 197k with 5 cakes as killer and I'm very proud of that 😁

  • You can easily go around this type of cencor by typing in a very weird way. You can't even type the word "insta" to say "insta heal" or something like that. So, instead of saying "you brought instaheals" you have to say "you brought an add-on to heal you immediatly"

It's just funny to see xD

  • We don't know, yet. We will know more later this week

Has anyone noticed how the last community challenge seems to be the slowest challenge in numbers so far? We could easily get this done quickly if we all farmed the 16 hooks per game, plus think of the bloodpoints. Let's smash this community challenge like the rest :D

Wouldn't that be boring as hell? I get it faming every once in a while, but every game seems a bit too much. Especially if one side doesn't care at all about it.

Yes, it was a bear trap, got ya!😈 JK!

No, what I meant was currently DH for some reason doesn't work for me, despite spamming it. So for me, it can't be more nerfed than it not working lol.

Try to change the button you're using to activate Dead Hard. Maybe it's not working 😅

  • Remember that green glyphs spawn where some totem spawns may be. Not where the totem is, but totem SPAWNS. So if a totem may spawn in a specific location you may know, just go have a look. During End Game Collapse you can see them, but you can collect them way before that, even in early game as long as you get 1 hook or 1 gen done I believe (depending on what side you play on).

Plus, survivors or killers can steal your glyphs, making this challenge extremely tedious and annoying. Only thing I can tell you is good luck with it.

  • I admire all the effort put into this. Sadly, it will end up like the META perks we have at the moment. You may only see the same exact survivors over and over based on their stats, so i don't think it's a good idea.

The game isn't designed with your idea in mind and if you add these stats, they would just break the game entirely and you would have to redesign it from zero.

  • Oh man, the classic "This has no counterplay" argument. If it's in the game, it means that it's OK as it is for now. Probably the thing she needs is an add-on pass but that's all. I don't think we'll see a rework of her any time soon considering that she has the lowest kill rate in the game.

  • Bloodwarden is very situational. Sometimes you can make it work, sometimes it will be the most useless perk you've ever equipped. I think it's fine as it is right now.

  • It would still be useless as the Dredge uses lockers more frequently during Nightfall and he's very fast while doing so for that period of time. The locks are there because he needs a slow down otherwise he would be pretty strong. You need to balance a killer for both sides where one side doesn't completely obliterate the other. Locks are fine as they are right now but they just need a bit of slowdown on the survivor side too. Right now it takes probably not even a full second to lock a locker so you can do it mid chase. If it would take at least 2.5 seconds each lock, I think it would make survivors think "Do I want to spend more time locking lockers or do I go and do a gen?".

  • Basically you have to actually play bad on purpose. It's not a "challenge" but it's more of a time waste. Imagine if a survivor has active the 5th one you mentioned (die 4 times on EGC) and a killer has the first one (complete a trial with 0 hooks). It would waste time on both sides making the matches absolutely boring as hell.

  • If someone is good with a killer, he deserves to be rewarded. As survivor, it's just a matter of holding W and try to fake your directions while she's about to blink so you waste a lot of her time while your team is working on gens. Ignore loops with her because she can blink right on top of you and just run to waste as much of her time as possible.

  • If you break all locks during Nightfall, it will make pointless locking the lockers in the first place. They may need to slow down the locking animation making it at least 2 seconds for each lock. The fact that survivors can lock multiple lockers mid-chase is even more rediculous 😂

  • The only thing DS needs to be an actual anti tunnel perk is to get disabled if I've already hooked one person. It's so dumb that in end game there are 2 people left, I didn't tunnel all game, 1 person saves the one with DS, I hook the "unhooker" and he dies, the unhooked hits me with DS and gets the pointless hatch.

Also, it needs to be disabled during end game collapse. The game is already over so you're not tunneling someone in end game, you're just trying to get a kill. Like survivors like to say "there's no counterplay" when specific situations like these happen.

    Howdy!

As many of y'all know, Dead Hard is going to be seeing some manner of revision. I figured I'd share what impact a Dead Hard-less Fog might look like:

    * Sharp rise in Sprint Burst & Overcome

Sprint Burst is the true "old faithful" of exhaustion perks and many seasoned in getting good value out of it will likely return to using it as a 1:1 replacement for Dead Hard. However, Overcome has come out since Dead Hard's undisputed rise, and may be a very popular alternative to Sprint Burst for survivors who do not like the technical aspect of managing Sprint Burst's cooldown.

    * Moderate rise in Quick & Quiet + Head On

While this combo certainly sees some use, the two work so well together that Dead Hard having a reduced presence will make plenty of players scoot back towards using not just one, but both perks together again.

    * Happier M1 Killers, but Trapper especially

Dead Hard's power and presence is single-handedly pushing M1 killers down on the overall tier list, but Dead Hard's unique ability to cross over Trapper's traps will be a massive gamechanger for Trapper players who are going for a more zoning, defensive playstyle.

    * Less happy Artists, Dredges, Freddy's, and Sadako's

If sprint burst becomes more popular, anti-loop & teleportation killers who are more vulnerable to "Hold W to win" counterplay will especially suffer.

What other impacts on the meta do you think we'll see?

The first impact I will see is avoiding to wait 5 seconds sniffing a survivor before hitting him.

  • Update: with patch 6.0.1, Unbreakable's description has been fixed. Some perks and add-ons in the Italian language are still missing descriptions

  • you just have to open the gates, not necessarily escape. Or play killer and get them. Poor guy can't get stressed playing survivor 🙄

  • @Carrow said:

Matchmaking is broken. As it literally pairs up highly experienced killers with thousands of hours in the game with players who are pretty new. As of today, it's basically as good as if people were paired up completely random.

you're right. There aren't enough killers for each group of survivors. That's why this happens

  • To me the game on PC stutters as Killer when I'm closer to hit a survivor. When they 360 me it's getting very hard to hit them because of this so they think I'm a "baby killer" 🤣

  • @KerJuice said:

I haven’t seen any cheaters in a while- I almost forgot about them tbh.

I saw the other day a survivor bringing a Mori and doing all the usual stuff (insta gens done, flying around, screaming etc...). They're not even original when they do this, it's just boring. I'm not even surprised anymore when I see a cheater. I record the clip and send it to their support and that's it. So far I sent them 3 reports in May

  • I still don't get why you can't see killer's ping in game. You don't have to show me the killer's name until I get in chase with him, but not even ignore him entirely.

  • @RADIXNCE said:

its exhauting you'd think people would actally try to do more to make the game fun but instead they make it completly unenjoyable, the Des need to hear us and they need to make it to where the killer loses points or earns WAY less for hook camping all game. I just cant fathom how it's cool that they sits behind a rock and wait for my teammats to come save me. They'll knock one pick him up then find the other person trying to save and SOMEHOW have the ability to hit people with a person on their back. they get to reuse the same hook over and over its just gross

ever heard of doing generators and 3 of you get out?

I just want playtime on each killer, how many matches on killers etc,...

People brag about their hours in the game, but its mostly lobby time, I wanna know if I spent 500 hours on Bubba playing not sitting in a lobby. Trying put 500 hours into Bubba, right now Im counting the matches, and using 10 minute match as average so need like 3000 matches

Your devotion level can technically say how much you played the game. Higher the devotion, higher the experience

  • I'm sure you don't have to download anything since everything should be in the game files already. Probably there will be a bug fix patch next week.

  • As survivor, you have all the tools to remove noed from your match by destroying all totems during the game.

As killer, one thing about Dead hard I would like to see changed is that you can't interact with windows or pallets for 2 or 3 seconds after using it.

  • @CashelP14 said:

First off I'd recommend for people to just wait 1 day and start doing the challenges then. This means you can spend the bloodpoints earned on event items and offerings.

Here is my guide to save as many bloodpoints as possible, while also completing the archives.

    Red Line = Collect

    Yellow Circle = Save

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/TK9YOHI1ETEO/sketch-1655305980451.png

Since the game only allows you to hold 1 million bloodpoints at any given time, this is a way to store extra bloodpoints for a later date. This is useful if you want to save bloodpoints for a later event or chapter.

Thank you so much for the effort put into this 😊

Theirs nothing quite like queing up solo and banding together with some random players and finally have a great match with the limited communication tools the devs have bestowed upon us only for everything to come to a crashing halt as yet another killer brings noed.

The real problem is that EVERY killer just sits on the hook at the end of the game because there's no more objectives for them so they bring no ed because they know that people will come for the unhook, I mean why wouldn't you when your whole team is healthy and its much needed points and potential pips.

It's just unreasonable to cleanse all bones every single match, it's a huge time sink if they aren't running noed and they aren't even timely to locate if you're looking for them. So the killer turns what would be a 1k at best into a 2-3k as the person downed is likely getting sacrificed too.

My last game they found the noed right after I was used as bait to see it was in play, didn't even matter because the Huntress just sat on hook at pushed people off with hatchets, even got a third that was bravely pushing the hook but got caught with a notoriously balanced hatchet hitbox.

Game is in such a stale meta they really need to provide more and different objectives for both sides, killers just sitting on hook end game is the most brain dead thing I've seen in any game recently, it's no different than camping in a lobby of call of duty yet it is much more common place. No ed just goes hand in hand with that dog ######### strategy so it's no surprise to see it almost every game.

Flip it also to the other side. "Dead hard every game, what a boring meta".

Yeah, it came in a recent bugfix patch IIRC, but since this is still happening even after a whole new chapter I decided to put some effort into seeing which perks are being affected. Didn't notice any addons though, could you indicate some that have this problem?

For me add-ons that give you aura reading like the pig, wraith and Oni ones. It doesn't tell me how many meters I can see them

  • This has been an issue for almost a month now. Some addons are missing descriptions too in other languages. The perks as well had descriptions that now are gone. I wonder why and how this is even possible. You have to manually remove the description of the perks in order to achieve this. I guess we don't need them 😂

To me it's happening in Italian language where a lot of aura reading perks don't tell you how many meters you will be able to read.

  • I mean... They never changed facecamp Bubba so why would they change this, right?😉

  • Survivor: Default Dwight that gets in a locker mid chase and stuns the killer with Head on

Killer: Fire Up to avoid flashlight saves right when I pick up so I mess with survivors timing.

  • I agree.

Let's say that you're a killer and you decide to tunnel someone out of the game to have a less stressful match. That person you tunneled will take it like a personal attack and will insult you as a person instead of calling bad your way to play the game.

Let's say you're the survivor getting facecamped by a Bubba all game. That Bubba thinks that he's ruining you actual real life day, when in reality it's just a game.

It's just a matter of splitting real life from videogame pixels.

It looks like the game isn't registering a change in health state either until after the entire animation has finished

Yeah, they definitely need to look at that.

  • For me those rooms are close to pitch black. I just would like to know if this will get fixed or if I just have to quit anytime I get this map because of the massive disadvantage I have. For those who say I'm over exaggerating, here's more proof that you can't see anything (PC)

    screen1.png screen2.png immagine_2022-06-13_175818250.png

Can you see on the last picture that there's a survivor on the right? Can you see the chest he's going to open on the left?

  • It's called skill check for a reason. If you can't do it because your game is laggy, I suggest you to change build and try different perks.

  • I use bamboozle on Blight. It's funny because people don't expect it and I can get a free hit on them 😂

Wow. I have never seen anyone play THAT bad. Git gud, mate! ;D

I know right. There's a reason if I have "Bot" in my nickname

  • I would like to see how Dead Hard would work if you can't immediatly vault a window or drop a pallet right after using it

Can you see that i'm breaking a wall here? I'm on PC

I have versed two Dredge killers very recently that used Lery’s map offering and Devour Hope.  This is not fair and balanced. Finding totems on this map is a nightmare, especially when a killer is bloated with several abilities.

You can’t see a thing on this map and with a high mobility killer, no cooldown to traversing the map, anti-loop, how does BHVR think survivors are supposed to win? Where is the “fairness”?

Haddie has 3 useless perks and can’t deal with the Dredge.

Devour Hope needs a nerf, Dredge needs a nerf, and certain maps need to be fixed so it is at least possible to see when his third power is activated. When you can’t see a vault that is only 5 meters in front of you, that is a serious problem with game balance. We can easily make the game scary without completely making the game unfun and unwinnable for one side.

It is NOT fun to verse. Matches should have reasonable chances of winning for both sides and the Dredge with certain perks and map offerings is not it.

Disclaimer: I have already played as the Dredge and he is very easy to use.

Have you tried to bring maps or perks like small game to find totems? I think you may need them instead of the same Dead Hard, Decisive, Borrowed time and Iron will :)

There are perks to counter everything you said, why not give them a try and explore new ways to play the game :D

  • Exactly. I thought it was a temporary thing for the PTB only but when I saw it in the live version as well I think that the PTB was actually completely pointless. Another reason why I think the PTB was completely pointless is that there was the "printer" Ghostface Chase music that made it to live again. Something ain't right

I seen someone say it was a breath of fresh air to have a non looping killer or anti loop. but his ability is like freddy, teleport but bigger scale, his antiloop is more effective id say because he has the pyramid head ability, cancel power and instant attack. he can attack instantly out of his teleport back to husk and he can stop his power to instant attack and because his cooldown is so fast he can catch you if you run away. running away will save extra 3 seconds per hit which adds up but honestly is some dumb counterplay but hey its the game design. and his darkness can actually make moonwalking and hiding stains easier and you cant instantly see other loops. this killer seems really strong overall maybe not at highest level like most killers but he still is strong. people just still suffer with him by swinging too early during a teleport mindgame or they are too ambitious with locker teleports. what do you guys think?

Leave the loop if you're not confident enough when he leaves the remnant in it. If for "darkness" you mean Nightfall, you can hear him perfectly even behind walls so you know exactly where he is even without paying attention to him (he doesn't even have a red stain when it's dark because he is "undetectable")
