One thing I don't understand is why Epic Games and Windows Store players are considered as "off platform" when we all share the same platform but with different launchers?

you have lot of time to work with.. dont try to win only in the last minute of the game..
So I can win in specific situations, i see...

That's a bold idea.
Tell it to my Solo Q teammates.
For me it works. I don't know what to tell you. Sure, i don't get the best teammates every single time, but it's not as tragic as you're all saying here
-
After seeing the video on your link, I can confirm that there's a 1 or 2 seconds delay from when you enter the locker with a survivor in it that still has Deicisive Strike active.

I do as much as I can but it's impossible alone and you need 4 committed survivors to finish gens but that's rare in soloQ where everyone suicides on hook and DC's and no one wants to work on gens so you expect them do even care about totems ? I doubt sadly
Try to bring the perk "Left Behind" so you can hide and get the hatch if your teammates won't do gens

can't believe people think you can reasonably cleanse 5 totems per game in solo q lmao
You can. It's a 4v1, not a 1v1. While you cleanse all totems, 1 might be in chase and the other 2 on generators
-
I still don't understand how Decisive Strike is active during End Game collapse to begin with. It's a lose-lose situation for the killer
-
Have you ever tried to do totems by yourself? Maybe bring perks like "Small Game" to help you with it

Thats what I think! If youre entire playstyle is to prevent me getting any hooks - what do you expect?
I hate to think I'm being toxic, etc. but as far as I can see thats the only counter? Unless I'm missing something?
if they want they can prevent you from getting any hook. Just be annoying by walking on top of them when they're downed. They get super annoyed by that, trust me. I did it multiple times and everyone said "nice gameplay" and I reply with "you asked for it" and they insult me and so on... If they insult you it means you played definetly better than them in most cases
-
I down one guy and wait with him until he bleeds out. I don't care, they asked for this gameplay and I'm honored to give them what they want. Games like those to me count like nothing to be honest
-
You lost me at "Dead Hard is interactive".
-
I'll tell you my experience.
- When I win as survivor I always get worse teammates but good killers; when I lose as survivor I get better teammates but worse killers.
- When I win as killer I always get competitive teams that think this game is a 1v1 and if they die they rage quit; when I lose (around 10 matches in a row) as killer I get brand new survivors who may have just installed the game
-
Sometimes premade groups will tell me the classic "ggez" even when only one of them escaped. I reply every time with "yeah, it was easy for me to kill you" and they don't know how to reply to that xD
This shows you that many people won't know how to have a normal conversation so they will try to say the most random thing passes in their mind

I mean its dumb and absolutely nonsensical Auras stay up on nightfall. Its supposed to be a timed blindness event effect for Survs yet auras still up and can make a huge difference, extreme case scenario Window of opportunity completely negates the intended purpose of it.
So you mean that they need the blindness status effect? I agree with this, and Windows of Opportunity negates completely the Nightfall ability from the Dredge. One change I would suggest it to make it in a way that you will still see auras with Windows of Opportunity but at the same range you can see with nightfall (so not too far, just the closest things to you). Other than this I think that the other aura reading perks should work regardless of Nightfall. The killer is already Undetectable so you can't see killer's aura within Nightfall. In my opinion if you bring perks helping you knowing where your teammates are, you should be able to use them. But this is my opnion, let me know yours!
-
I played yesterday as survivor using the perk "Windows of Opportunity" and I was against a Nemesis who was very good at mindgames and stuff like that. My main concern about the new house in the Garden of Joy is that upstairs is very very dark in some rooms. Other than that, I've been able to vault 3 of the 4 god windows and the killer can catch up to you. It's not an infinite. If you fall from the top, you will get a slowdown, allowing the killer to catch up to you. Other than that, it's not really that big of a deal in my opnion for now.

Update: with the patch 6.0.0, Unbreakable has still 3520% recovery speed

DS is mostly fine. Only thing that you can't do anything about it's when survivors hooked while endgame and they just crawl and escape or stab you and escape. But at this point game is pretty much lost so it doesn't really matter.
The only change DS needs is to be disabled once the end game collapse happens. It's a lose lose situation for the killer so there's nothing you can do. Other than this, it's fine as it is right now for me

One thing i hate about Blight is that you don't know for sure if you will bounce when you hit an object or not. For example: in the swamp maps, all trees are made of oil. You try to bounce on them but you fail because of bad hitboxes. They should also focus on that too.
@Breadn said:
Coming from someone who has poured well over 300 hours into playing Blight, and has participated in many 1v1s against him, I can say that Blight's issue regarding back-bumping should be addressed first.
In case you don't know; back-bumping refers to when you try to start a rush, but instead instantly bump on something to your side or behind you, hence the name. It seems to be almost random and can completely ruin the flow of chases.
If the general community and developers want Blight to become a bump logic machine, that is fine with me. However Blights should have the tools to bump logic, and not be limited by bugs that randomly occur.
TL;DR: If hug tech is removed before back-bumping is fixed, it is doing a dis-service to many Blight players and may become a similar situation as what happened to Twins a few months back.
I agree with this too. Sometimes I waste 3 of my charges because I bounce on something that is behind me and not in my angle.

If you play as a team you can't expect that your life depends on you and only you. If your team makes bad plays, you will get punished by the killer because... they're mistakes.

I cant imagine so much mix of entitlement can manifest in this post, where I simply gave a suggestion of what a nerf/rework of the perk can be, cause devs already said they will nerf/rework all the mets perks, and look at core design problems (like tunneling if needed). But there is a mix of educate response, focusing on ds vs tunneling problems, but rejecting the big possibility of a ds change exist. And then some not civil entitlement individual that will do anything to defend their little toy petk that carry them, cause bullyng noobs fearing learn to play instead of press E for distance. I dont really want to think about poor devs tryng to make their best to balance am asymmetric, and if really metà will Be nerfed (and hope camp and genrushing fix) I will laugh when entitlement survivor will eat take Off their hairs from their heads. Costructive dialogue with some individuals are impossibile, they are too much of a part.
In my opinion it should work with lockers but it should be disabled when exit gates are opened. The game is over but that person gets a free escape because of that. He has a 60 seconds immulity since he gets unhooked so he can mess around and crawl to the exit. I get those people as kills for me when this happens. I have zero tools to counter this, so might as well count that as kill instead of escape. Easy as that

Dead hard is nowhere close to NOED. Dead hard can be baited out. NOED can't be baited.
I know it sounds very stupid but have you tried... cleansing totems?
-
You can already turn it off if you don't want to see weird messages. I don't see why remove it completely if you can do it by yourself, already.

If body blocking is not supposed to be a thing and is considered griefing, 6 yrs in, it should have been removed from the game by now.
That type of bodyblocking is if it happens when a person does it on purpose multiple times blocking you in a corner for a very long time taking you hostage. The bodyblocking you mean is probably when a survivor takes hits for another one, protecting him if he's on death hook. The first case is the type of bodyblock you have to report, the second one you don't have to because it's a false report of something that didn't happen. Hope it's clear to you what bodyblocking actually means 😃

With this type of challenge I just picked Midwich as a map to play on and I always stayed on the opposite floor based on where the killer was. Try Midwich or The Game. You will easily get it if you use these 2 map offerings. Another tip, when I play with these type of challenges, I never go for the win. I mainly focus on the challenge first so I won't get burnt out for trying them over and over.

Every time I seem to be putting on pressure as a result of reckless survivor playstyles, I'm met with one distinct reaction each time:
"Disconnected from host"
I'm not in the habit of checking my ping every 10 seconds, if I don't see a little green bar, I back out the match. Things were smooth and dandy my first week back, but once I kissed those higher MMRs I started noticing that anytime I'm tightening the screws or denying gen rush attempts, my game crashes and I'm met with This exact scenario.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ruw_5HTkfI
I'm honestly terrified of winning now because I don't want to be one of the horror stories here or on reddit where they can't play for 3 days straight. Am I going to need a VPN just to even remotely have a chance of finishing a match? because Google is already my DNS and no device that isn't mine can even see my wifi.
Also, I really don't think that "Wake up" bug has been fully patched but rather SWFs on some private Discord somewhere found a new way to crash the killer's game. Because there are two common denominators, and I think they're even in a prior stream(s) as it has been something I've noticed:
-I'm putting A LOT of pressure on most of the team
-There's someone on the team whom has given no notification nor have I seen their presence
Call it baseless paranoia, but I'd be willing to bet a perkless trapper match that in each scenario one of the SWFs prepares to trigger the crash while the remainder of the team go probe the killer to see if he's either good or has perks that nullify their plan. If the killer does too much damage, they crash him out of the match. I'll refer you to the first four words of this paragraph before moving on to my last point. It's DBD, there's always going to be a tasty exploit in each chapter. I just don't think this little crash gremlin is fully patched out is all.
This was definetly not High MMR, red rank doesn't mean high MMR. Maybe you got a connection issue for half a second and you got disconnected from the host (which is the server you're playing on). If a "hacker" ends the game, you will see all survivors escaping as the icon in the leaderboard, but none of them escaped. So this was just a connection issue, it happens sometimes, even for half a second. So don't worry!

There are many times where if a person dies on a certain hook, it becomes impossible to hook survivors that are downed near the broken hook. Particularly indoor maps, and hooks near corners have this issue. Sometimes survivors will drag the game out by crawling to a corner and be unable to be hooked because the nearest hook is gone.
I think this is an outdated mechanic that serves no purpose other than to deny the killer hook states, and waste everyone's time. Hooks should respawn 30 seconds after a sacrifice, just like they were sabotaged. That will buy some times for multiple slugged survivors near the hook, but still allow the killer to hook survivors that are abusing the unhookable area.
I always try to hook the last survivor even with no hooks around at least once. But if they go back to the same place I picked them up, then I have no problems leaving them bleed out ;)

I know people will just say play with friends or play killer.
My friends are busy and playing killer is pure garbage with MMR but the one problem I have is my team causing a major three gen where it is in walking looking range for the killer to see every gen.
I can't help it but I feel like they need to think one side of the map as one gen on it which on something like suffocation pit is a massive problem once one side has all the gens done boom your screwed.
I suggest you to equip the perk Deja Vu (sorry if I butchered the name) to avoid 3 gens close together in end game😁
-
Remember, they never mentioned that they will "nerf" meta perks. They will "rework" them.
