The game has been dying for 7 years. This is nothing new.

Can't wait for the next game after TCM that will kill DBD.

good joke 😅 dbd numbers are constant for 7 years.. dont even compare to TCM.. that game will bleed yout slowly like friday 13, the predator one etc.. its just released hyped and still not even close to dbd numbers..

  • i think he is really easy to pick up but hard to master i guess?

Killers will return to the game once these perks are removed from the game. There is no rework that will make them any less obnoxious. Get rid of them ASAP!

bro survivor q is like instant.. DbD has enough killers.. and why do u want to remove content?

Rank up in MMR by playing, i mean you will one day reach higher MMR, you will see the camp fest it is. It is in every game, unfortunately.

you tell this to someone who has like 80% winrate both on surv and killer like lol? i face like 1-2 campers daily.. camper killers won't reach high mmr.. and nope i don't rly play 4 stack or nurse

    yo,

Prove Tyself is becoming meta (you can see the trend now) and even with 90 seconds of gen time (in the future), games will be over faster than you can watch.

You can already see it now. Games don't last 5 minutes anymore.....

that's full of fun and entertaining

you doing something really wrong if you getting genrushed continuously

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY (ESPECIALLY SOLO PLAYERS)

    Kinship (Camaraderie) Rework:

The importance of friendship has given you strength.

While any other survivor is on the hook and the killer is within a range of 16 meters, their aura is revealed to you.

While you are on the hook and the killer is within a range of 16 meters, their aura is revealed to all survivors.

If you enter the struggle phase, Kinship will activate its secondary effect: If another survivor is within/enters 16 meters of your hook while Kinship’s Secondary effect is active, the struggle phase will be paused for 26/30/34 seconds.

Kindred survivor auras will now be a base-kit feature for solo-players. This will help solo players gain the proper information of other survivors locations throughout the game.

This should be a step closer to closing the gap between solo players and Survive with friend players.

Kinship (Camaraderie) should now be a perk that can be used by solo-players. The perk currently benefits survivors with proper communication, so this is a great change.

    Now, Delete Kindred

    why they should lol

It is not a social experiment but it could be one 😂

Let's resume the current DbD state :

    • most killer players are trash and are jsut camping/tunneling, like 90% of the game, so most of the time you stay on a hook doing nothing
    • as a killer you cannot win playing properly, it explains the first point, so msot killers just stay around the hook waiting for a survivor an thus doing nothing else

The fun part in DbD is the interaction between the survivors and the killer. However, this interaction is now minimal, at best 2 minutes chase in a 10 minutes game. The rest of the time you are either waiting to die either using m1 on a gen as a survivor, as a killer you are waiting by the hook...

Where is the fun in all this ?

I have been playing DbD for years, the curent states is disgusting. Why don't you try other asymmetrical games ? Why do you stick with DbD while those other games have not those issues ?

It is not a love or hate post, i'm just wondering why you keep playing it ?

i play cuz i like the concept, i like the horror things and the game is fun for me.. + i like how BVHR handling things.. someone who doesn't like it don't play period.. idk what are u talking about i getting camping killers like on every 10th match.. and other assymetrical games? they are trash and dying like in a month.. in quality not even one close to DbD

I'm looking forward trying out the new changes, i think most of them are fair changes.

Problem is that 90% of players only look at it from either killer or survivor side and only looking at the nerfs.

People will always keep crying about changes before even being able to try them out. And im sure of it that if there is drastic changes needed bhvr will implement them.

Only thing i don't agree with is the whining getting boring, it's some good entertainment.

this.. ppl like: ":'( :'( they nerfed my fav perk :'(".. they dont even try to change their playstyle.. baby survivors baby killers i guess

if you don't like the changes you should switch games.. everyone would be happy trust me

  • @Akito said:

Instead of making perks with an cool idea legit and strong they nerf good and legit perks just to change the meta?

Not recognizing that people choose "meta perks" because they are good at what they should do?

Take Detectives Hunch. When it was released no one was playing it because it was bad af. Nowadays it's good and you can add so much coordination to a solo team.

or Windows of Opp. What it was released it was so bad and boring. Now it's legit. It's good and fun to play.

so WHY are they killing them? Iron Will. Iron Wil lwas asbolutely fine and so fun to play. And they nerf it because they don't like people having fun with it? Or Spine Chill? They removed a perk from the game (technically) just to "change the meta".

We asked you to change the meta in order to change perks or buff the idea of a perk so it becomes playable.

Lets take a random perk: Solodarity. Why is no one playing it. Because it's bad. Because it's boring. If it would increase the speed you heal others by lets say 50% or 75% way more people would like to play this perk. Because it adds an dynamic playstyle. Making things faster, more efficient.

We'll make it. The Killer can still be ut of TR and still make it back to the hook and chase the unhooked. If it was like 300% for like 20 seconds way more people would like to run it because the incentive of the perk would actually work out. The live-version doesn't work and perks like BT instead are working out.

I hope you take back the Iron Will/ Selfcare / Spine Chill changes. It doesn't makes any sense. If you want new meta perks then make boring, weak and unworthy perks worth it to run them. But telling people how to play the game and nerf playstyles just because people like playing certain ways is NOT okay.

iron will change isn't that bad tbh.. but maybe you experimented more than me :)

IW gave a chance to steal from the chase. For example, in the bushes on the maps of the Midwich School and the saloon. Now this is a completely useless perk, since now it makes no sense to take it at all

so you can choose from like how many? 100 perks? there is always worse and better perks.. meta is changing finally a bit at least

  • @akanadi said:

i swear 50% of every hillbilly match somebody dc's because i chainsaw them, and no i dont camp or tunnel on normal occasions, so what are your HONEST thoughts on billy

i REALLY like to facing vs billy.. (if they not camp but that's for every killer).. i really enjoy mindgaming with billy players

  • @akanadi said:

its one of the worst perks in the game now, if the killer has sloppy butcher healing with self care will take 68 seconds (if im not bad at math) thats over a minute and almost a full generator

no worries ppl will still bring it :D

  • @pharos said:

Dev seems to forget they have an out-of-spec killer called Nurse

Think what the future holds, u will play against Nurse with Jolt without cooldown + Soopy butcher + Thanatophobia and other fantasy perks , and u need 90s to do a gen basicly , once u get hit u need 45S to selfcare. Otherwise, the next time the nurse sees you, you're basically waiting to lie down.

Nurse can fly through all the map ,hit one surv and then back to the hook repeatedly. No one can unhook and the gens can not fix .

This is the biggest problem of the game

or time to learn playing vs them? 6 years isn't enough to loop them just a little bit? god nurse will get you without addons ye but that doesn't mean you cant win some time or cant escape..

  • @gaygayhomogay said:

It absolutely terrifies me, I just played against one and just by them being there I, out of nowhere became the worst player ever after getting 4ks all day and the loss hurts more than usual because there was an audience to witness it, they were nice in the in game chat afterwards but they didn't mind teabagging me at the gate before that. Maybe it's just my anxiety but I'm gonna leave the lobby if I see another one

it's a coinflip for me.. i don't really care if i see TTV they can be absolute trash and absolute god and between these too (like every other player).. they have ttv in their name or no doesn't matter

  • @Walex90 said:

While it's clear that devs want to make it easier for killers (again as always!) when it comes to looping, other than that it is a HUGE nerf. We won't be able to just simply hide when injured and not be found, or sneak into a hooked person without being noticed. Same applies when one wants to go for a pallet/flashlight save while injured.

The killer can find us anywhere 24/7 now. This is bs!

can you stop crying? you talk about like it's impossible to escape without iron will.. there are TONS of good perks in the game.. change your build

  • i can't even count how many times it hits me through rocks, trees etc..

The match is not over till all survivors are killed or have escaped not when 5 gens are done, not when you start to open the gates and not when the EGC has started. There are perks like no way out which needs the gates to be open to use but by what your saying is that at that point the killer has lost the game and should let the survivors get the unhook and wait out the time and then hold the survivors hands while they escape.

No way out alone can get you kills if people are on death hook put in NOED and there is even better chance of getting kills because the match is not over yet, as for the topic yes DS should deactivate if a survivor starts to open the gates as they are still progressing the game for it to come to a end, if you want to keep your DS don't open the gate and let someone else do it.

if you couldn't get a single kill before 5 gen you deserve to lose period

  • jeez i just came back to the game and ppl have waaay less brain.. what specific situations you talk about? you guys act like survivors only job is to open the gates.. but not every survivor gonna genrush through 5 gens they slack around opening chests getting attention etc.. im tired of forums you guys always whine for something when there is counterplay for EVERYTHING.. use just a little bit of brain..

Why exactly is it wrong to try and win in the last minute of the game?

you do nothing for 5 minutes then you come to the forums and whine about you can't win when gates are powered.. you dont see the problem?

  • @DuoVandal said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2994639#Comment_2994639

You say that like Killer has control over End Game when they do not.

Survivors 99 exit gates all the time so they have infinite time. If you trigger it yourself you open the door for them plus you have to go OUT of your way to not chase anyone to go open a gate. There's literally very few scenarios in which you can actually control end game as killer, it's always been in survivors control.

you cant read? i say that you SHOULDN'T WIN in the last minute of the game only.. if survivors reached the endgame you fcked up early and mid game.. you still have endgame perks but if 4 survivor is still alive when gates are opening then you lost the game simple as that

  • "Myers, impossible to play without perks"..

why would you play without perks?.. in DBD EVERY killer has his place.. sure one is stronger then another but there is no killer who is really bad and impossible to win games..

  • @Bot_Salvo88 said:

I still don't understand how Decisive Strike is active during End Game collapse to begin with. It's a lose-lose situation for the killer

you have lot of time to work with.. dont try to win only in the last minute of the game..

  • Dredge is actually really fun to play against :D

  • so you mad cause not everyone wanna gen rush?

  • how good they should have to be? if they don't use it they are get a hit.. if they use before i swing it's pointless.. rank doesn't really matter rank 1 survivors can't use it consistently.. maybe if they have a good plan about how to loop a killer so they can reach the next loop with it that's all

  • think about it.. you are a survivor with 4 friends irl.. if you can escape on a door why would you close that door after you escaped? no logic but i like the idea ingame

  • daddy from 7 would be nice :) or those molded things.. or Eve (Eve is more than from the girl from F.E.A.R tho)? or even multiple killers?

  • they should rework the whole ranking system imo.. it's way too easy to get rank 1.. and when you reach it nothing happens.. the highest rank should be REALLY hard to earn so it would mean prestige.. i have no idea how to

  • i think most survivors would say Spirit

  • @MalEducado said:

cant deal with the amount of harassment and insults from survivor when i finish every game... and by the time, it most commonly ppl insulting , sometimes insults my father dead, my mom , wish her horrible things, call me noob etc...

its completly unhealthy the amount of insults in this game, and dont say , you should report, i make tickects and i report in game, but its not my job to be the police of death by daylight...

so sry but when i play dbd in ps4, if someone insult me throught the ps4 chat, he receive a penalty or ban, here its the law of the jungle.

if i meet toxic survivors (post-game chat) i just say "EZ" and leave.. i can imagine how mad they are :D

Rank 1 survivor with 2k hours and still lost to a spirit with only about 100 hours because the character is completely broken, fix spirit.

she is nerfed already she is fine

  • @DwarvenTavern said:

    So, I'll start it off.

When I first played this game, I was nervous. I was at a friend's house when I booted the game up for the first time, he asks what it is and I told him the basics of it, the general concept of it. He gets interested and wants to watch me play the game, I get into a survivor match and he's asking me a bunch of questions such as: What do you have to? Who's the killer? Is it random?

I show him gens, pallets, windows, and the gate. But the real scary moment happens when a survivor gets hooked. I get excited and I start explaining how you have to unhook survivors before they're sacrificed to the Entity. I run up to the survivor and then the Hag's traps set off.

There were three in a nice pattern. I screamed mid sentence and accidentally threw my controller at the TV I brought with me (it got chipped a tiny bit, you wouldn't see it unless you were looking) I'm sitting there, a little shaken up, I look at my friend who's sitting there with a pondering expression. Then he says "I'm gonna buy the game"

no tr killers can scare me sometimes :D i like it when it happens

  • @Smeagolthevile said:

I'm getting so sick and tired of it. Every single match I played today, and most I play on other days, are almost exclusivly tunneler/face camper.

Yes I can run perks for it, yes half the team gets out, but it doesnt mean that it isn't ######### boring as hell and frustrating to boot.

The blood point punishment for camping does not deter it, and something needs to be done, it.

I know that the devs say 'its a valid strategy' but it makes the game blatently unfun when you are the one being tunneled/camped, and when you are not, it makes the game god awful boring because you just sit there doing gens with no pressure no chases.

get better.. the only thing that i can say.. learn how to loop.. if you have some basic understanding about looping you can go vs better killers.. good killers rarely camp

  • @Lord_Tony said:

almost every single game all 4 survivors are using dead hard.

This is just ridiculous when is this perk getting nerfed.

i mean.. when you getting close DO NOT SWING.. just ask yourself: "dead hard?".. then you can swing.. dead hard is useful in like 2 times out of 10 if you don't swing before you bait it

  • @Tsulan said:

Such a low speed would indicate that the killer doesn´t run in circles. People would complain about the killers power (whatever it is) if they can´t run in circles.

    this (nurse,spirit.. :))

  • @NoOneKnowsNova said:

Remove her ability to hear survivors during her power (including footsteps) and maybe give her a speed increase during phasing to compensate. Makes her predictions take a lot more skill. There are probably better ways to nerf her but that's how I would.

awesome idea.. would be an rng fest :D i have a better idea.. remove everything when she phases she cant hear or cant see #########.. ohh and afterphase she can't move for like 4 sec.. there would be a red addon that decrease this by 1 sec.. how about that? :) im really tired that you guys always want to nerf something.. adapt

  • @Venoxxie said:

I dunno what survivors you talk to but DS is most certainly not useless. If they say it is, it's because killers seem to get turned on by tunneling then acting all scared of DS (so why tunnel) so they slug for like 2-3 minutes because they dunno how to count to 60 seconds. That's the only reason DS might end up being useless.

I dunno how much survivor killer mains play but if they do and they feel they never get tunneled all that often well, think of how many people are on this game. Those who claim they never get tunneled are not everyone. There are A LOT of people who get tunneled. Just because one killer main doesn't tunnel, doesn't mean no killers tunnel. Etc.

However, the reason why people are mad is because out of all the op killer perks, the only thing really taking a hit is Undying. But bhvr is going after two loved survivor perks (one of which I rarely see used) because killer mains can't handle it. The reason people are mad is because the nerf is also unfair. Killers say it's balanced but if anything, it's able to be abused by killers. I read a forum about the Dev stream and no where in it does it clarify that if someone starts healing me, do I lose DS for that? Or what about moments where I feel safe because I thought the killer was in a chase across the map so I try to work on a generator to be useful but lolnope... the killer was on their way back to be rude to me and because I tried to be useful for all of 5-ish seconds, I lost out on 60 whole seconds of DS. What's the point in having it be a 60 second timer if anything we do will get rid of that within a split second?

If anything it should have been:

    -60 second timer.

-Timer goes faster by 4/3/2 % (numbers could be changed) when doing any action.

-As soon as you are in the Healthy state or someone else is hooked, the timer goes away.

ppl mad cause they are crybabies that's all.. :)

  • @golubushka08 said:

We need 1 item to fight against the killer, at least 1 use per match. NEW ITEM idea to be a bat found in the BW and we can use it 1 time per match. If the killer is carrying a survivor he will let go if another survivor hit him with that bat. Also you can hit him in a chase if you hide behind a wall and you can hit him before he hits you. And you stun him 3/4/5 seconds.

It will be fun, what do you think?

you don't need 1 item to fight the killer

  • @Lx_malice said:

It's pretty crazy. I've gotten countless DMs from survivors who tell me gg and compliment my Nurse but just today I played my first Spirit match in months and that exact same match I immediately get a DM from one of the survivors calling me a trash camper and tunneler even though I really didn't do either of those. I feel bad for Spirit mains. I can't even imagine how much hate they get daily just for playing their favorite killer.

it always makes me feel good when surivors complaining for some reason :D

  • i think dead hard is fine as it is.. even a mediocore killer can wait for the survivor to DH and then hit.. DH can help reach pallet/window in like 1/10 time

  • doctor is more annoying than strong.. sure there are really good doc players but they are rare as i see.. ppl tends to panic when they are vs the doctor for some reason.. just chill he isn't that strong..

  • idk how an asymmetrical game would work in the e-sport scene tbh

  • they release 4 chapters/year.. that's a killer for every quarter.. i think it would be logical to release 3 original and 1 licensed/year (around halloween).. maybe 2/2

  • Slinger is fine and he is in a good spot.. he has a speargun not a sniper rifle..

  • i don't have any problem with keys.. if i see a key on a survivor he is just top of my killing list :D if they can escape then well done

  • if you have crashes and freezes then check your PC.. something is wrong on your side..

  • higher level than what? i have no problem stay at rank 1 even with old doc or deathslinger..

even a perfect mmr system wouldnt be good for dbd since good killers would only verse sweat squads and good survivors would only verse spirit and nurse and all variety from the game would be pretty much gone

not spirit and nurse are the only viable killers.. but i really hope if i can kill all of them in 5 minutes my MMR gonna go higher.. no point to hook everyone 2 times and chase for x minutes and damage generators and things like these.. if i can win in 5 minutes then my MMR is way higher than the survivors

  • why wouldn't it work? Devs just have to implement properly that's all..
