I don't like Exhaustion at all, but i think your question deserves at least a "the best of the worst" kind of response.

Survivor
- Yay!: Spine Chill
- Ugh!: Object of Obsession
Killer
- Yay!: Hex: Devour Hope
- Ugh!: Insidious

The best i can do for you is light my head candle as Wraith. 🤷♂️

At least SOMETHING for the guy.
-
Fine by me, what else would i do with my Killer idea anyway.

I think the The Hunter, or the Witch would be a better option.
Gotta disagree, the Witch only chases when provoked & the Hunter, in DbD, might as well be a flying Killer, which they know would break the game.
Making the Witch move around fast with a will of her own & keeping the Hunter grounded would destroy their image.
The Tank rages, chasing any Survivor immediately once it sees them.
Sounds very fitting to me.

when the punishments begin? did they give a date?
No clue, but it's the next patch that'll come out.
-
Hmmm, i like Left Behind more as it currently is.
As for Sole Survivor, i'm not happy with how it is now, but this suggestion concerns me, in capable hands, it might just be a slower version of a "free Hatch".
-
Just like Insta-heal Add-ons & Prayer Beads Bracelet Add-on, before DCing gets nerfed, they're gonna DC as much as they can. 🤣
-
The Tank from Left 4 Dead.
-
Make Your Choice.
-
Y'know, regardless of how good or bad the last Tome will be, it'll be a good learning experience for the team.
-
There was a guy who tested this for like 400 Bloodwebs on Prestige 0 & 3.
I only remember the increase of Ultra Rares being around 2%.
-
You might actually want to complete each Tome on the fastest possible path, so that you will unlock more choices.
Y'know, you go straight towards the end on Tome I to unlock II, granting you lots more options of what to do next.
-
Also: Are the devs sure these are gonna be challenges that "casuals can complete with playing 1-2 hours per day"?
-
Why is Unnerving Encounter the way it is?
Unnerving Presence has nothing to do with Exit Gate Switches.
Should've made that Remember Me.

If everything goes as it as been going. When they finish with the old characters, the new ones will be old then.
Indeed, but they're not like the current old characters.
Those have 2 paragraphs, Yui has, what, 15?
Not saying they can't do more, they just left a LOT open for imagination with the old ones...
...Which, now that i think about it, is actually kinda nice.

Favorites are Rotten Fields, The Thompson House & Rancid Abbatoir.
If you don't suffer from corn vision, not only will the fields pretty much be open to you when it matters, the Survivors will always assume you do suffer from it and run into it, allowing for an easy hit.
Well, easy if 360s mean nothing to you.
Rancid Abbatoir at #3 cause it's small, and i don't really get the complaints about the main building, it's fine to me.
Thompson House at #2, purely because of the dead-end on the second floor, it's almost like a Basement.
Rotten Fields at #1, because corn. Also, it hides my Wraith WAY too well.

Ohey, i remember you responding to me about this. 🤭

You'll have to forgive me since I don't have time to read through the whole thing right now, but:
I only thought I'd address this now that I finally have the PROOF that Demo is not a powerful killer. As per the stats released, at red ranks, Demo fairs very poorly, having the SECOND LOWEST kill rate in the game, just barely above The Clown.
We said it in the stats post and I'll say it again here, you should not draw conclusions from those stats. They are about as broad as they get. They don't show details and account for any amount of factors. To give an example, he's just barely below the Nurse and the Huntress, two fairly powerful killers. Are they bad too? I feel like most people would say no, they just have a learning curve and there's a lot of people who don't regularly play them will pull those numbers down.
This is a direct quote from peantis when someone made a Demogorgon post. She legit says that they are inaccurate and that you shouldn't rely on them.
@Peanits said:
They are accurate. The reason why you shouldn't draw conclusions from there is because they are very broad. They don't tell you what perks, offerings, or add-ons were used, what maps it was played on, etc.
To give an example, you shouldn't look at it and go, "Wow, Freddy is OP!" That's a blanket statement. You should only use it as we do, to see where a problem might be. Is it Freddy himself, or is it a specific combination of add-ons and offerings? Is it the snares or the pallets? These are the sorts of questions you should be asking.
🤷♂️

Cannibal.
I'd say Clown, but i kinda like what his Power is, and a rework implies it'll be way too different.
Cannibal is a slower Hillbilly with some more power at close range.
Also his Add-on arsenal is still very much outdated, with some broken as well.
-
Where did they say it was not accurate?
All i heard was that they don't base patches only on numbers.
As for sharing the data: People love getting data, regardless of how worthless it may be.
I mean, the proof for that increases with every discussion started based on these stats.
So why not share it? It keeps conversations alive.
That said, it's not like i'm against getting ALL the data...

The Wraith's Blood Reaver
Someone once said this looks a lot like a Bloodborne weapon, and now i can't look at it without thinking of that game anymore.
And since it's a fantastic game, this is a fantastic weapon.
It's also great design, it almost looks like the long blade can spin 90 degrees to the left, making it look like a jaw with big fangs on the blade and the front-end of the stick.
Which would be a great weapon transformation in Bloodborne honestly.
-
Make Your Choice is fantastic on Hag of course, but i'm loving it more and more on my Wraith.
It + any Windstorm is so good.
-
Yeah, i gave it to DbD.

Nothing lasts forever
True, but that's taking it too far.
What i meant is that they want it to last as long as the game does.

They def learned to make better stories over the years but that’s what archives are for to revisit old characters and dive into the lore
Hmmm, that would suggest the Archives will stop one day, which is the opposite of what they said they want. 🤔

It's supposed to be a possibility, yes.
Looks like you spun the wheel of misfortune just right a few times in a row.

2 or 3 months ago it was the opposite. It would take me easily 5 minutes or more to find killer games, where I could find solo survivor games instantly, and SWF games in about 2 minutes.
I blame the matchmaking. I know there are a lot of people playing this game.
True, i noticed a spike.
Not 5 minutes, but it was enough for me to comment a lot on here.
-
Idk about others, but i like seeing stats, regardless of their importance.
-
Sorry for your Survivor-suffering. 😫
Trust me, that's not what i want with my opinion at all.
-
This would've been perfect as a poll. 😜
I want to own all Perks, so obviously i say yes without thinking about it.

Xbox seems to have a healthy balance of players who play both roles, I see a few names I recognise as killer and survivor quite often.
As for wait times I usually wait longer as survivor, killer is usually pretty quick.
Well as long as those longer wait times don't make you sigh, move one leg repeatedly or simply annoyed, then that's pretty okay.
In a perfect world, there would always be 4 times as many Survivors playing compared to Killers. 😅

There are more survivors waiting for lobbies than killers can fill. Which show a lack of killers playing.
This will change next week when everyone wants to try out Oni.
No i know that.
I mean i don't want people to wait.
That'd be dickish.

Alternatively, make survivor more appealing? More BP or something IDK.
Well, that kinda goes hand in hand with what i said, but i know what you mean.
Also: Yes.

Going by the long queue times for survivor and instant queue times for killer, you already got your wish.
Why do you suggest i want long queues?

I just started the 20 Emblems challenge.
My first 2 matches were full of DCs.
Got 2 Gold or higher so far.
It's like they know...
Weren't crashes either: First match was from a salty down, and with 1 DC come the next few, then the 2nd match they were just suicidal.

Welcome!

That comment's probably gonna be of no help to you, but idk how i can help you with this.

I obviously do not agree.
- 50% = 2 dead.
- 74% = 2,96 dead.
These are averages. It is wrong to say that the averages must necessarily conform to the quantification of a game taken individually.
So yes, on average, overall, these meager statistics indicate that all killers are overperforming.
Otherwise, it means that the developers are not targeting for something specific (2) but a range between 2 and 3, and ignore imbalances existing inside.
I totally accept the fact that it is impossible to balance perfectly everything. But there is a difference between target 2, with a small range (between 1,8 and 2,2 for exemple), and consider that 2 = 2,999999.
Currently, in all ranks, we observe all killers, with the exception of the Nurse, on average between 2,2 and 2,8. And in red ranks, all killers between 2,4 and 3,2.
Unless there is a bias explaining why these values are all clearly above the desired average... That's the reality.
I also want to add that the red ranks do not justify higher average values. Why would only killers become better in red ranks, but not survivors?
Perhaps, the red ranks should instead show a distribution of values less focused on the target average, alleged 2. So more values to 0, but as much 4... but the average should remain the same.
Yes, survivors have been right, and Freddy must be the next. He does not need much to get back into the mass of other killers, like the Spirit.
There's more to it indeed, but not much.
Besides, these numbers are apparently not even a big factor, just A factor, noted by Peanits multiple times.
-
They don't aim for 50%, that would be a ridiculously small window.
They aim for 2 dead, 2 escaped.
2/2 means anywhere between 75% & 49%...
- 0-24% = 0 dead.
- 25-49% = 1 dead.
- 50-74% = 2 dead.
- 75-99% = 3 dead.
- 100% = All dead.
Once in that zone, it doesn't matter who's better, they reached the average and the devs will then say that "some Killers will perform better than others", which is only natural.
So anyone going over or below that line, they will probably face some big changes at some point, while anyone within the zone will...well, they'll see changes too probably, cause of new content and stuff, but they'll try to keep them there.
-
Devour Hope's 4K.
-
They don't want 50%, they want 2/2.
And everything between 50 & 75 is 2/2.
If I see a Clown nerf in his current state, I'll be worried +720%.

Yes it could. He has "surprise attack" scoring events.
Depends: Do downs from Surprise Attacks trigger the Perk Surge?
If they do, then it's a basic attack despite granting more BP and thus he wouldn't profit from it.
If they don't, then it is part of his Power and he could make use of it.

You can't do Perks involving Killer Powers, since Perks can be shared with other Killers.
Not only did they change Tinkerer since it was way too much work due to new Powers coming in, some Powers, like Wraith ringing his Bell, wouldn't profit from Hex: Web Entanglement at all.
