Mashing is not the way to do it though.
I'm not gonna deny it may sometimes screw you over anyway, and i'd like to see that fixed, but mashing will only break your gear faster.
-
Specifically, Surveillance says it requires regressing Generators, not kicked Generators.
Just putting that out there.

Why wouldn't they? It's a good song
It comes on too frequent for that reason, considering there's millions of other good song.

Did you know that my local grocery store sometimes plays this UNIRONICALLY?

Hex: Devour Hope's 2 Token bonus.

I think this'll be a case of never agreeing with eachother, but i really didn't mind the difficulty of the last Tome.
There was just some utter bullshit in there, but overall i had a good time doing challenges.
-
This makes me think of dodgeball, and the balls are the not-constructive comments.
And then there's that one kid who dodges every ball with flashy moves, catches one, throws it back, turning the comment into a "no u", and hitting them.

Use 2 Perks to get a Killer-Kindred.
-
Sure, i'll always be for more communication.
-
Really?
I don't see this stated in the PTB patch notes.

And new killers who get hit by ds and bt? What about them or the loops on maps survivors can easily abuse the killer with? Then theres flashlights swf and keys. Like it or not killers dont want to rank up because of how much the survivors have in the higher ranks. If were nerfing perks that bully new players i expect a ds and bt fix then as well as maps.
I hope for those new players that they'll have better times in the future as well.
I was just saying i'm hoping for the game that this will keep those players in the game.
-
Sure thing, bud. ๐
-
I made my profile as private as possible to avoid the annoyance of getting a message everytime i win.
Though that's not really exclusive to Survivor behavior, but the Survivor side of a match is 4 people, so it's 4 times as frequent.

I never cared or asked how you obtain the tag.
I would have to assume what you meant without you elaborating further.
No, it wasn't.
"which is how it's not what it's made for" doesn't need to be reread or repeated it should be rewritten to make sense.
Wonderful. Comeback and rewrite "which is how it's not what it's made for" so we can understand or have you elaborated to the point we must again interpret what you meant. ๐
Fair enough, i figured as much anyway, but just wanted to make sure.
And you did, and i elaborated.
Guess we'll always disagree on this, so i'm putting it to rest before it escalates.
Okay, i figured it was easy to understand since explaining it would be repeating something i mentioned before, but here goes: It's primary function is to test.
Feedback is an important aspect, but it's not a primary function.
You know, like how videogames in general have the primary function to entertain, and competition within those games is an important aspect, but not the primary function.
That's how "it's not what it's made for", if it was just pure feedback, there'd be no reason to call it Public Test Build.
Hopefully it's clear to you now. ๐

That's right, a person doesn't need high intelligence to be considered for the Trusted tag, but I can't tell you what the requirements actually are, or people would misuse that information.
- Ah, sounds like you have to be a . . special kind of special to have met such . . secret standards
I didn't say at all that you can't give feedback, that's just you misinterpreting my words.
- Then perhaps instead of giving one line responses you should elaborate to not be left to ones interpretation
Testing is it's primary function, and while they'll always listen to the feedback, it's primary purpose is to make sure it works so it can launch in a better state.
- Well that is how we all believe it works, but not at all what your post inferred
Feedback can then also be used to alter the content, or they can choose not to if they believe that's better, which is how it's not what it's made for.
- "which is how it's not what it's made for" say what now?
I hope that cleared it up for you. ๐
- If only you would have taken the time to elaborate from the start you wouldn't of had too. ๐
I'll leave it up for you to theorize, still can't give you more hints on how to gain the tag.
I was elaborate enough, if I meant it wasn't at all for feedback, I would've said so.
Yes, it was.
I don't think I need to repeat myself, you can re-read the comment.
I don't mind one bit to come back and comment more to help others understand. ๐

Couldn't imagine you gained the trusted status with brilliant one liners such as this.
With this big brain logic . . .
- During the Public Feedback Beta tell us everything about what you cannot test
and
- During the Public Test Beta don't say a word about what you have tested
Wish I could say your post was worth the read, but look at that post counter!
That's right, a person doesn't need high intelligence to be considered for the Trusted tag, but I can't tell you what the requirements actually are, or people would misuse that information.

That's a really good point about it being useless without a hex perk.
With the logic that survivors can naturally destroy totems maybe killers should be able to naturally build them back to some extent?
Idk, maybe everytime it gets cleansed, it loses a Perk level.
And you can only rebuild if the Hex Totem is cleansed and the Hex Perk still has Perk levels.
Oh, and of course: It would mean your Hex Perk is weaker everytime the related Hex Totem gets cleansed.
Just throwing out ideas.

Lol i'm not a dev. I'm just suggesting
I would also prefer if they randomise it everytime I just don't see the devs doing something like that
For devour hope alone it probably wouldn't do that much yes but you have to concidder when the killer takes only hec totems too
And atleast they still need to take the time to go cleanse it
I know you're not a dev, I was asking you to make that exception part of your suggestion, so as not to make other Hex Perks suffer because of HG's existence.
If that would only be good with Hex Totem builds, then it won't be a popular addition.
No longer a gamble, no longer in the same spot.
-
A Perk that's only useful if you run a Hex Perk?
I mean yeah, you got stuff like Self Care being useless if you use No Mither, but then this Perk is useless with over 50 other Perks.
It'd be better as a standard ability, but I won't see them do that.

With the existance of haunted ground that would be the best i think
No point in giving survivors a gamble every time
Sounds fair, but losing Tokens and being in the same spot won't do much for my boy Devour Hope if anything.
Can't you put an exception on Haunted Ground?
-
In the same spot?
-
I always like it a bit when the ones I killed call me bad, cause they don't seem to realize they call themselves worse than bad indirectly.
-
Even if my Wraith boy would face changes that seem weak and would feel weak in the PTB, i'd still hold onto my horses until i can try it out lots in the actual build.
It does all depend on Wraith though, i don't find any other Killer nearly as fun.
As for Hex: Ruin: Barely used it, barely will.
-
Loved it.
-
Well it's not the Public Feedback Beta, it's the Public Test Beta.
-
Well thank goodness that's in the PTB now.
Now he just needs to be burnt out of his cloak again.

Even though this was said when they were doing internal testing, this is still pretty bad and disappointing making a statement like this at that moment even before the PTB was out.
Oh okay, gotcha.

Almo?

If they want to kill it, they can just make you unabe to pass a pop-up message at the title screen.

I can confirm it. :D
However, you can equip both. So when the Survivors cleanse the totem, BOOM they just activated PGtW. :)
Meaning you'll have 3 Perks, and once they cleanse it, you'll have 3 Perks?
That's bigger than i thought at first.
The number of combinations for you to actually have only 3 Perks are small (Hex: Ruin + Pop Goes The Weasel / Overcharge), but they worked together before, so anyone liking these combinations before now has both a changed Perk & they can't be used at once.
Like the stats said, Hex: Ruin is very popular, so that + Pop Goes The Weasel probably isn't that uncommon either.

they seem to think that you shouldn't be able to stack these slow down perks since the new ruin and the freddy nerfs
Nothing stops the 4 Survivors from all using the best Toolboxes & Add-ons though. ๐ค
-
Something tells me that they don't want people to combine this new Ruin with PGTW.
Can't confirm that, obviously.
-
If i want characters, i buy them.
If i want Perks, i buy the character owning that Perk.
I have never had a problem with getting Bloodpoints, and i find that SoS doesn't give near enough Bloodpoints for the IS you spent.
So all that's left is saving up for future cosmetics.
-
I 100% expected Kate & Laurie to have the results they have.
-
Do you mean you can slap your Terror Radius on someone else, then use the new Power to shock them and everyone nearby?
I figured as much, but that's still neat to hear.

Ah, ok. So it was not implemented fully / correctly and not working in these circumstances? And to fix the poor implementation, it was turned off right? Makes sense. Thanks!
Pretty much, we'll hear more about it in the future.
-
Well i can answer that first question at least.
They turned them off because it was a test, which was made clear when people were getting time-outs for crashing and stuff.
-
They always have stats for these, they've done Perk popularity stats before.
It, for some reason, just takes long to release them.
I still remember, years ago, Deja Vu being at like 0.06% used. ๐คฃ
-
Hag has 1 Perk that i use for fun.
Clown has 2 Teachables that are good on most Killers.
Oni is Oni.

Well it's kinda old news, they announced this addition before.
I like it a lot that it's happening, but i already expressed my joy on it.

Steam charts says 27k, 24k average over the last 30 days, which is about what it's been for a year.
However peak numbers do tell a slightly different tale
24 hour Peak: 30k
30 Day Peak: 44k
All-time peak: 75k
Oh, i saw that wrong on SteamDB, it does say 30k.
Far from a ghosttown though.
-
It's currently at 40k.

What about the spirit super lunge ๐๐
When talking about that bug, i almost never see Wraith mentioned, only that Spirit suffers.
Whether they actually know that Wraith also has it or not, i come out to bring attention to Wraith also having it.
-
Audio fix?
I want my Wraith super-lunge back already! ๐คญ๐ฅ
-
They would most likely bring in that lil tune that often plays.
Y'know, the one that plays in FNaF 1 when you're out of power and Freddy's eyes are seen in the doorway.
I don't want that happy happy jingle in here.
-
Preferably, both changes happen at once.
