Tank from Left 4 Dead.
They said before that they didn't really like the idea of standard types of people creatures like zombies or clowns.
But not only did Clown join the roster anyway, they can excuse the Tank from being a zombie since it, and all other infected in L4D, are still alive.
Overly simplified, it's more like rabies for dogs.

The developers aren't working at the moment.
Idk when they'll be back, but it shouldn't be much longer now.
Though even if you see them active on these forums wouldn't necessarily mean they're working again.
I only want them to implement the DC punishments once they're ready.
I'm very glad the last time they put it in was just a test, cause getting banned for crashing is a big no no.

I would like to add a few fixes.
- Fix Nurse's blink sometimes taken away by the game. Turning you into a 1-blink, sometimes even no-blink Nurse for the rest of the trial.
- Fix Nurse's post-blink lunge. It sometimes legit goes further, and sometimes goes less far.
- Fix Myers's and Ghostface stalking. Being able to stalk survivors through walls, and sometimes not being to stalk them even in plain sight.
- Spirit's post-phase lunge is bugged just like Wraith. They changed her speed curve, but she still is supposed to get an extended lunge.
- Clown's bottles sometimes don't do anything. They explode on the spot, but without releasing any gas. Though, maybe thats dedicated servers?
Ah, my bad for that.
I just almost exclusively play Wraith, you see?
So i don't really encounter bugs on other Killers all that often, unless they're super-consistent. ๐คญ
-
I already like Lithe the most out of all Exhaustion Perks, but it might incentivize me to actually use it for once.
-
Now do a map tier list, from either Survivor or Killer perspective! ๐

I can respect liking buffs more than nerfs but I personally understand nerfs need to have priority. Not to mention bug fixes.
If you don't mind, i'll mention why i think that way.
This is not to convince you or anything, think what you want, just thought it's worth saying...
If something's too strong, it'll get nerfed way quicker than something that's too weak gets buffed.
And i know why: Synergies with other equipment could make it way too strong, but that doesn't mean too weak stuff isn't commonly left in the dirt.
Because everyone uses strong stuff and thus bothers everyone else with it, but way less pick weak stuff and it wouldn't be that big of a bother to anyone else if they use it anyway.

Sorry, but no.

They admitted it's bad right now, but they're not working right now.

Tf you mean buff more nerf less? Don't you want god maps nerfed? How about "nerf what needs a nerf and buff what needs a buff" idk why people are so paranoid about nerfs.
I mean that i simply like buffs more in general than nerfs.
Never even mentioned maps in general, just Blood Lodge.
I'm not being paranoid, read sentence #1 of this comment.

Like others have mentioned, I like your idea, but it would be too powerful if combined with other perks.
I think Surge only needs number changes and to activate with a Killer's power.
Reducing the cooldown from 40 to 20 seconds might be a good change,
What do you think? ๐ค
The 2nd sentence sounds interesting.
-
- Wraith's super-lunge fixed
- Wraith actually uncloaked after getting Lightburned
- Wraith consistently uncloaked after breaking a Pallet using Spirit Fury+Enduring
- Wailing Bell Charm
- Being able to sell back Items, Add-ons & Offerings for 5-10% of how much they're worth, or simply being able to delete them
- Being able to buy however many Auric Cells you want instead of packs
- Buff more (Within reason.), nerf less (Within reason.)
- Being able to change Aura colors to your liking
- Matchmaking at least no longer like how it is now
- Optional crossplay
- Blood Lodge massive changes to not make it so open & Pallet heaven
- Being able to go into first-person in the shop when shopping for Killer main weapon cosmetics so you can see what that weapon will look like while you're playing
- Being able to look at your cosmetics separate from your character so you can see what it looks like from as close as possible, like how you can with Charms now
- Killer Charms on more objects so Survivors can see them more often than just when on the Hook/rescuing a hooked Survivor (I nominate at least Generators & Lockers.)
- The volume of just-hooked Survivors' screams turned down
- The disconnect punishment system in its finished state
- "Emblem Bonus" XP being more than close than nothing
- Luck affecting more than Bear Traps & unhooking yourself (Naturally, i nominate at least Chest searches.)
- Blindness rework?
- Haemorrhage buff/rework?
That's all i can think of for now.

Surge is fine as it is, however I would not mind a buff like a synergy with Overcharge.
It's too bad for me personally though.
That it does apply constant regression is nice, but now i still don't care much to ever put it on.
-
No thank you.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
You didn't even know how the perk worked and you suggested a buff. Nice.
Because i based it on wrong information that i believed was the case due to past confirmations.
-
I want a Wailing Bell Charm.

@inferjus said:
Surge is perfectly balanced, no need to make is annoying, then nerf it.
Disagreed, but thanks for your opinion.
-
@Pandom said:
This isn't something I would necessarily be against for Surge alone, but I feel like this could be very obnoxious if combined with other perks. Surgeveillance would instantly give information on every gen on the map as well as regressing them. Thrilling Tremors would also block most gens while they're regressing, proc'ing instantly after Surge since you've just downed someone.
If i'm right, Surge doesn't apply a constant regression like the regular Killer kick does.
It simply regresses it/them by a flat 8% and that's that.
Again, i never use it so i could be wrong, but that's what i've always read.
So assuming that it doesn't apply a constant regression, then Surveillance wouldn't trigger unless Surveillance's conditions are met, and Thrilling Tremors would be blocking Generators that aren't being worked on, whether Surge activated on those or not.

This is the exact kind of comment that lots of veterans made for a few years.
First, everyone used Premonition & Spine Chill cause of "Wraith OP", and it was pretty split among the players on which was better.
When everyone realized that Wraith wasn't OP, those 2 Perks quickly became meh Perks.
And now they're back again...well, one is.
Btw, this is not talking about anyone who has always used it, but from my experience in-game, on the Steam forums and on these forums, it was mostly a disregarded Perk among experienced players for a very long time.
This is not to change your mind, i don't really care what my fellow Survivors use.
But it's in general just not a bad Perk to have, miles better than, idk, 2/3 Ash Perks.

I used to be like that when the game just released. Get Window of Opportunity and learn to loop. If you can combine stealth and looping, the game is even more fun.

I'd love to have this tool.
-
Surprisingly, i did more than i thought initially.
I just wanted more to do, and the challenges provided that, but i then wanted to unlock more stuff.
Not just unlocking for the sake of getting it all btw, there's specific things that i want on there that i got now.
Idk, i never felt bored, and no one ever screwed me over or something for the challenges.
I had pretty much an entertaining time like usual, but with more to do and more to get, so i'd say it's a nice addition.
-
Your name makes this ironic in a moderately amusing way.
-
Oh, you're one of the very few who doesn't say BL got gutted.
It makes me curious as to why that is.

You claim that it does give bonuses, and well it does. Under very specific conditions. You go through the whole trial injured, just for the small chance that the killer downs you and leaves you. And you wouldn't be down instantly if it wasn't for the perk in the first place. It's just a bad perk that needs reworked or buffed.
That would defeat the purpose of it being a challenge.
-
@XGhostNova226X said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/954993#Comment_954993
But it gives no advantages.
I didn't say that, i said it gives bonuses to help deal with your disadvantage.
It's supposed to be a challenge Perk, and everyone can avoid using the Perk if they don't want that.
-
I actually like them as such exclusive Items, makes them special.
Also, i don't like that there'd be 2 kinds of Items which do practically the same thing, but one's a 1-time insta and the other's neither.
If they were to become standard, it'd be more fitting to turn Firecracker into an Add-on that you can slap onto your Flashlight, and when you press a different button while playing, you'll "consume" the Flashlight, dropping it and a Firecracker goes off.
-
Well yeah, it's not supposed to be good, it's supposed to cripple you, and then give some bonuses to help deal with it.
-
Yeah, it's probably a thematic decision.
It was that way with Nightmare's rework, so i'd put my money on that.

I had a good time besides Iridescent Age's bug & that one NOED challenge.
And i don't feel like i wasted my money, next pass i will have the option to buy it for free if i want it.
-
I like the ones that make it thicker, i don't really have problems with the fog & they won't always see my shimmer.
But i know some people have trouble with them or just don't care, and i don't care about the less-fog one, hence my vote.
-
Well i like it too, but i generally hear more complaints than praises about it.
-
This would make careless unhooks the new meta.
-
I like the idea.
The problem is that it opens an easy way for Killer players to always have lots of Killers in low ranks to just stomp on low rank Survivors.
-
- Don't remember the last time i got those, so i guess i don't deal with them.
- Play like normal.
- Play like normal.
- Play like normal as much as possible, then report them.
- Play like normal.
- Play like normal.

Ahh.
Not a fan of those, honestly.

They could at least make the doors out of sight of one another. That shits absurd.
I have an entire post on that actually, where i had a trial where they were so close together, i could stand still between them and see both Exit Gate Switches, while the Hatch was already closed and there was only one guy left, making it almost impossible, which i didn't like.

Rancid Abbatoir, standing on the side of the main building where you face the outer wall of the map.
What's obvious? Both Exit Gates are on this side.
And i stand here because i have a perfect view on both Exit Gate Switches, i'll see them running up to them, and even if i don't, i'll see the red lights.
It's not far either, i'd make either one by the time 1 light is on.
Hatch was closed by me, they had no Key, and i don't know if they could find one.
Still killed them though, cause Killer instinct.
So why do i disagree?
Cause the devs said: You should always, as Survivor, at least have a chance to escape.
This statement is build upon the fact that the Killer is going to kill you.
I will easily make it to either Exit Gate once i spot them.
If they don't go for the Exit Gate, they can only count on finding a Dull- or Skeleton Key in a Chest, if they hadn't all been searched yet.
Their only true hope is that i'd become friendly, which against most Killers, including me this match, is usually a hope that doesn't come true.
I really don't care if the devs want End Game Collapse to be more Survivor or Killer-sided, i love that the match will just end.
But i do actually like the idea that they can always do something, and this goes directly against it.
If you disagree, that's okay, more than fine, you can have your opinion.
This is mine.
P.S. If you're wondering about that build: I just did the final Killer Challenge on Tome IV, to hook 5 in the Basement during 1 match.
Add-ons didn't matter to me.
It also went way too well, i think i got all 5 in the first minute.
But that was very one-sided in my, the Killer's, favor, so let's also look the other way: 4 Survivors alive, Exit Gates on opposite sides of the map, a Killer without much mobility, not chasing any Survivor.
Considering the current meta and with the Survivors more than likely knowing what they're doing since there's 4 alive during the late-game, you might get 1 kill in with some hardcore camping.
That is of course if you go to the right Exit Gate immediately: Choose the wrong one and they're gone.
-
Honestly, option #3 sounds like the weirdest thing to me.
You'll be punished for dedication.
-
Hatch closing has to go. Lets be honest here. The game needs hatch closing back.
I assume this is simply a spelling error.
But i don't like the premise for this change: "You have to entice players to want to STAY and play."
By returning Hatch-standoffs, annoying everyone again?
I don't think it'll come back, not like how you want it.
-
Mmmm, i wouldn't say that.
Every now and then, i see the usual "DS in Locker" show up, then "BT in face", then of course "Genrush", etc.
-
Define "higher" ranks.
-
I can achieve the same on PC, but good for you regardless! ๐๏ธ

"The Serpent" - Soot had a LOT of bugs.
I'm not even sure it's bug-free now.
-
They already doubled it, and it's ezpz now.
-
It'll happen eventually, might as well vote the correct answer.
-
None of my Killers ever really feel toxic, but Hillbillies often camp.
