Shred's pretty awesome, but i feel the portals are kinda underwhelming, and it's half of its toolkit.
There's probably amazing Demos out there, but...ehh.

- Crowns do not "drop" if survivors die.
- Killers cannot acquire crowns by killing survivors with crowns.

Figures that the offering doesn't affect it as its not listed as an effect, but the fact that they move around is actually a really good gameplay mechanic! if ones not being interacted with it means its likely in a difficult position so it moves either to a more active place, or one thats different which may or may not mean it will be easier to find.
survivors interacting with it and then it reappearing somewhere else means it can likely be gained by all 4 survivors! does the killer just delete it however upon finding it? or does it reappear upon the killer despawning it.
I'm pretty sure i found mine as the 2nd or 1st, and i was Killer.
I guided a Claudette to a Crown.

- Pretty much all offerings are from the original release of the game or shortly after. It was a different time back then. Most offerings did way less than they do now (common BP offerings would add 25% to one category). Luck is actually deceptively good, though. Tossing on luck with Up The Ante-- or multiple Up The Antes-- can nearly guarantee an unhook.

Funny enough is that getting Surprise Hits (to me) is fairly easy, but getting BP in Hunting past 6k is (to me) pretty damn difficult.

I didn't have a single event Offering for my last match, and 3 people had the glow.
Whatever increases the amount, i don't think the Offerings have any effect.

There's the other discussion where they talk about a new cosmetic slot where you can just have things float behind your head, the Crown being the first one.
Or have it be a Charm, though not everyone likes that idea as not everyone cares about those.

Well those pieces can still be equipped individually, right?
So i thought of the Crown + the other 2 HB pieces.

Well i say i found 3, but i actually found only 2, but saw 2 Survivors + me with the sparkles. π
Anyway, okay, so it might be (somewhat) map- & spawn-dependant.

Got it on my Wraith, that's all i need.
It's okay i guess, it just doesn't work with my main set of cosmetics.
Gotta experiment a bit, the parts from the Lunar event might work with it.

I personally don't care, but i can see why they'd be upset.
From the moment i heard from them that they couldn't give 100% of the players who earned them the rewards back, i knew that whichever decision would lead to at least some disappointment.

There were no Totems back then.
Generators also took a minute instead of 80 seconds.
No regression existed.
Brand New Parts completed a Generator instantly.
If we had current Survivors in that version of the game, you'd see some unbelievable genrushing.

Been involved at the forums since beta.
Not much has changed in terms of attitude.
If anything, i'd say it has become better, the Steam forums were loaded with crap.

Sabotaging just doesn't happen in my matches, so i can ignore that ability.
When i used it for a day or so, no one was nearby.
And i prefer to not use Perks that only give a benefit every now and then at most.
There's just better Aura Perks out there.

I just play Wraith.
Got more than enough saved up on to play him for actual months without having to spend BP on him for more Add-ons.
Spending some time leveling a Killer to 40 for their Teachables is almost nothing to me.
