They've stated that it's not objectively worse, that some people might prefer the longer Aura duration.
I find that statement sketchy by itself since i haven't seen nearly as many people prefer Discordance III on these forums.
So yeah, it is a matter of preference, but when so many prefer one option, maybe it's time to change it, or add an option to use a specific version of that Perk.
-
It should be pretty awesome on Killers who like to spread damage, this Perk will keep the damage for at least a minute.
Should have some nice synergy with Thanatophobia.
-
Maybe it's because of her RNG involved in her Killer Power, or maybe it's the way she uses stealth amongst stealth Killers, but i just can't think of her as a strong Killer.
Not weak, but not strong.
-
A stable connection is required.

I mean the purpose of ultra rare add-ons shouldnt be: the strongest add-ons in the game
It should be: very unqiue effects for different playstyles.
Yes certain add-ons are bad like the undetectable one for ph. The undetectable should last in my opinion like 10 seconds when stepping out of a trail. This way you can be jumpscare dorito face.
The irredescent one for deathslinger that makes a person exposed when shot 15 away is a good example of a fun ultra rare add-on. Is it good? Heck no, but it is fun to use as hell if you get it off.
If very unique effects is their purpose, they, the Ultra Rare Add-ons, are still at least a little bit of a failure ever since Plague.
One of her Ultra Rares started the trend of having an Ultra Rare that reveals Survivor Auras through the use of their Killer Power.
Some vary, notably the Oni, but the principle's the same, there's so many other things they could actually be .

I don't really think either are a great fit.
The PTB one sounds too light, I feel like a heavy theme fits him more.
But then we get a heavy one, and now i feel like it sounds too generic, like i could find a track similar to it in other games.
Idk, might just be me being picky, but i just don't feel it's very special.
-
There's a lot more movie Killers than videogame Killers, though the good reason is that they like slashers.
But i like them bringing in videogame characters as well.
Bill came in (R.I.P. Jim French), but Silent Hill is the first big addition, wouldn't mind seeing more.
-
Not even close to intrusive to me, i can work with 'em just fine.
-
There's still only 1 Killer in F13.
DbD can have loads of problems, but the variety of characters alone helps the game an unbelievable amount.
Also, in F13, i can't be 100% sure i'll be the Killer, and i'd mostly want to be the Killer.
-
Investment.
Lots of investment.

All Aces are welcome!
Kates are too, but for more private reasons. ๐

Yo wat, Wraith so popular!
...Not very good there tho.

Specifically the Angel of Music cape
Ahh.
I like the cape and the angel at the front.
I just really dislike the half-mask.

You forgot his best cosmetic, the one that gives him a cape
So most of them?

You'd get alot of Doctors and Huntress Lullaby in that mode. Those ones are wicked brutal when it happens. ๐
Cool.

I think they already have a no HUD mode for survivor, it's just not optional and it's done at random. No HUD, no information of progress and invisible skill checks. I get it a couple times a month. ๐
That's why i'd ask for it.
-
I'd like a hardcore Survivor mode, in which at least some supernatural abilities are gone.
Mainly: No HUD of any kind, no standard Auras (so Perks still work), no loud noise notifications.
Only the Killer would stay supernatural, so Terror Radius, Red Stain & their Killer Powers would stay.
-
Wraith's cosmetic variety is only 1 reason why i really like the guy.
Can't say his variety is perfect, he's from the olden days of DbD where cosmetics, in comparison to now, were barely any different.
But overall, i love what options he gives, here's some of my favorites...
-
I myself moreso experience him as Woah, but he's probably more Holy Crap!.

It's should still be morning in all of Canada.
You waited 4 years, you can wait another few hours. ๐

๐Lil mistake.
-
Really can't see much good on him other than being deadly when in his melee range for more than a few seconds, which is obviously good for camping.
-
I don't know what to give an opinion on.
If it's scummy or not?
It probably is.
A Killer's allowed to do that though, within the game's rules that is.

Idk, it's on the Windows Store, so maybe.

Jane is the Gale Weathers though: always nearby (big screentime), investigating for her story, at some point even suspected to be a killer, probably showing her empathy late and helping final girl and this may or may not get her killed.
Not to me. ๐
-
Hitting a Survivor with your basic attack starts a 60-second timer, resets with every successful basic attack.
When the timer starts, highlight 1/2/3 random Hook(s) with a purple Aura.
Can only highlight 1/2/3 Hook(s) at a time.
If you put a Survivor on a highlighted Hook, 1/2/3 Generator(s) become highlighted with a purple Aura for 60 seconds.
Can only highlight 1/2/3 Generator(s) at a time.
Kicking a highlighted Generator will then reveal the purple Aura of the last Survivor who touched that Generator for 3 seconds.
Hitting a Survivor with a basic attack while having the Generator Auras active deactives them and shows the Hook Auras instead.
-
Jane.
The directors will want the one with the thickest booty to get the most screentime.
-
That she can deal damage at range is great, and that's also pretty much all i find great about her.
She warns Survivors earlier than any other Killer that she's near & has reduced movement speed.
Indoor maps are also a pretty hard hit to her.
-
Man, i was really wrong with the title, huh?
-
No, Lightburn can't protect you all the way through the picking up animation if the Survivor knows, times it well and starts early enough.
Which is why, before picking them up, you look in a direction, do a quick 180, and then pick them up.
They can't re-position themselves in time.
Of course, you'd have to make sure they aren't actually in the direction where you 180 towards.
-
I'd most likely play.
-
Not to dismiss you, but you might find lots of peeps over here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/looking-for-players
-
Probably.
-
We'll Make It warns them now, right?
Yeah, then that's too silly.

Hmmm i like it but most survivors believe once the gens are done their job is done and the match is over they should be allowed the escape.
Oh i'm sure people would criticize this tiny grab zone.
Did ya' see my discussion's title? ๐

@VolantConch1719 said:
Pros:
- Herman has some of the best tracking in the game. Always has.
- Each Survivor in Tier III is a Survivor not on gens, giving Herman insane stalling potential, possibly the best in the game.
- Herman can effectively deny pallets and vaults, making him very dangerous to loop.
- The Madness skill checks can really throw off Survivors who aren't very observant.
Cons:
- Calm Spirit. I don't think I need to say more on this.
- Screaming is honestly pretty unreliable in finding Survivors initially, unless they're in Tier III and messing up constantly.
- All of Herman's real power is in his add-ons, not his base form that I'm analyzing.
Herman is my favorite Killer, and I want to place him higher than this. But all of his power comes from his add-ons, so I must place him at a 7. If we do consider add-ons though, especially the Restraint ones, he rises to a 9 for me.
I know, i wanted Wraith to be Death Itself, but my honesty wouldn't let me. ๐ช
-
Yes of course, i don't want the grabs that early either.
I was just thinking of this last, final taste of danger.

A Buckle Up Buff indeed. Adding it to Kindred would be a bit much honestly. It could work amazingly well for those whom prefere Solo-queing.
Welp, i think 3's enough to make it a Buckle Up thing.

I wouldn't say often, but for me they're definitely the most varying in skill.

last time (today) it was a streamer, when I got into her stream after our match I saw her ping going yellow and sometimes red in her lobby. I asked her why streamming if her internet is bad and that just gived her unfair advantages later on matches and is kinda exploiting the game, her answer was "I know, and I don't care about survivors, this is the only way for killers to win".
Okay.
-
From Western Europe, i'd prefer to keep them.
There's plenty of them and we rarely lag.
Not to dismiss your issues your game has with them, but they give me a steady flow of nice players.
-
Yes.
I've always wanted them to add the Tank, but lately i've grown doubts on him being possible.
He's too big for vaulting and general narrow spaces, but reducing his size is not something i'd prefer.
Don't like the idea of the Hunter & the Witch, and for generally the same reasons: In order to make them balanced for the game, the Hunter wouldn't be allowed to pounce high, and the Witch definitely wouldn't be stuck in one place until a Survivor gets too close.
And if those things aren't the same as in L4D, i think it would ruin the image too much.
Smoker would've been a good choice if Deathslinger wasn't a thing.
Boomer can't call hordes of zombies here, and just vision blocking makes him too close to being Clown.
Charger would seem like another Hillbilly/Oni.
Jockey & Spitter sound like the best choices to me, though my vote would be for Spitter, as Jockey would undoubtedly have a Hag PoV.
But steering Survivors might be fun, though i do wonder where you'd steer them to.
Spitter would have a long-range attack, and once the projectile falls on the ground, it creates the massive acid pool, which if spat on Generators, would mean Survivors have to go away, or they'll take damage. (It wouldn't deal damage immediately.)
Also, if you've seen the Spitter spit in L4D2, you know the ball of acid that you spit drops like an anvil after a second or so, almost completely removing the momentum it had before that.
Meaning you can use that as a tactic: If you see a Generator's Aura behind a wall, you could angle your shot a bit high so it doesn't travel too far forward, making the drop happen right as it goes over the Generator, making it land there and driving Survivors away from it.
Yeah, i'd like the Spitter.

Sounds to me like y'all are a blast to kill. ๐

Maybe that's just how to improve Buckle Up! Let you and your allies see the recovery progression of Survivors in the Dying State within 48 meters, and the Killer's aura is revealed while within 16 meters of the Dying Survivor.
That sounds great!
I didn't wanna add it on top of Kindred, that might be too much.
-
I could say the old version is weaker cause i practically always have Enduring on.
But i could also say the old version's stronger cause i barely ever go for the unhooked one, meaning the current DS wouldn't ever be used.
In any case, it's never gonna leave my top annoying Perks, being stunned is just ugh.
-
Burnouts are a thing.
Continuing won't remove it.
There's stories sometimes here of people who are still not enjoying it after 4 months, but then there's me who had fun again (with more moderation) after just 2 weeks.
In any case, a break can do wonders, and there's only 1 way to find out how long you yourself would need.

Happy bday DbD!
