the petition isn't to force bhvr to get the killer. It's to show people are interested in it.
which I think it's doing that quite well
I wasn't saying the petition will force them.
-
Yes it is.
If it wasn't, there would be thousands to choose from by now.
-
Yeah, not a big fan of Killer Power cooldowns myself.
Another reason i like Wraith the most.
-
I don't mind, but how often do these petitions actually produce results?

Hold on, "easy to pull of af pallets“? What do you mean by that?
Once a Killer starts breaking a Pallet, they're locked into an animation in which they're vulnerable to being blinded.
Unless they've equipped something specifically to avoid this, like Brutal Strength, Lightborn or using a Killer Power to destroy it quickly, it's an easy blind to pull off.
-
Could be.
They usually do that with Killer reworks, but these guys are a special case.
They said they're happy with them, so this won't be a complete rework, just some changes to the Powers & an Add-on overhaul.
But because they're special cases, maybe they'll change their tracks because they wouldn't be getting a rework.
Cannibal's does look like a rework though, at least on the same level as Doctor had a rework.
-
Don't worry, i always do.
-
They wanna go for at least another 3-4 years they said.
There might be ideas, but they're not gonna be working on it now.
And we've seen the dev comments on here: If they ain't working on it, they won't really talk about it.
-
I don't see faster blinds ever coming back.
They're already quite easy to pull off at Pallets, and if you're there when the Killer picks them up and doesn't have a wall, it's not as easy as at Pallets, but definitely not that hard.
-
That's most likely not on their minds.
Well, Mcote probably has loads of ideas already, but they're not gonna be anything beyond ideas right now.

Yeah, it'll please survivors and they'll buy lots more cosmetics. /s
Probably not their goal.

There is a good sentence for that:
NEVER CHANGE A RUNNING SYSTEM.
Okay?

The main reason I included that would be so there would be a difference between tier 1-2-3. Maybe instead have it so it has a smaller cooldown per higher tier? Not sure if we need more cooldowns in the game though
If you don't wanna add a cooldown, you could just have it be a set amount, and have that amount go up each Perk level, to 5 seconds or smthn.
If the Perk triggers occassionally, 5 seconds is about as good as 1 second anyway, you're getting their location and their direction in both amounts.

I'm not sure about that. All they came out with clown is the slowdown removal, and they're now very happy with him, and saying he's underrated at the same time.
So yeah, they did that, they say it's good for now at least, and are doing this now.

Then why don't do the same thing to legion and clown? Are they more happier with current clown and legion than current billy?
Maybe.
They're doing this right now, probably got no time messing with those two.
-
Thanks for your consideration, but no thanks.
I cannot get stressed by this game anymore, i've developed a mental wall made of diamond just for this game.
-
Maybe they think they can be even happier with him by doing this.
-
Sounds cool, but i don't think they'd do the "You will see their aura for an increased time of 1/2/3 seconds." thing.
Tinkerer got reworked simply because it had to be changed every Killer.
OoO would have to be changed every Killer Power/Add-on/Perk that allows Survivor Aura reading.
A set amount of seconds would probably be what they'd go with.
-
Sounds boring.
-
You mean those 7 months meant nothing then?
You didn't get any use out of learning Hillbilly in 7 months?
-
*Wraith's fine*
*puts him in anyway*
🤨

It'd be nice if Lightborn protected killers against more than just getting blinded.
Hag and Wraith could do well with that.
Lightborn is literally 1 letter-change away from Lightburn, yet there's nothing! 😥
-
Just like previous Add-on arsenal reworks/updates, you'll keep the numbers you have.
However, the Add-ons themselves may change.
For example: The Nurse rework made it so a bunch of people ended up with hundreds of Ultra Rares, because it was a Common before.
Also: Hillbilly still only has 19 Add-ons, and they want to make it 20, so there'll be a new Add-on that you have to start collecting.
-
Well, even if it got in, i bet they'd have to put in some Mickey symbols on the new map. 😂

As long as you acknowledge they are easy.
Although some of the tool-tips the dev's put on the characters are inaccurate. Someone like Billy is an extremely difficult character to get used to with his curving mechanics, but called easy by the devs. Where-as freddy can just snare spam and tp to gens with pop but that's 'hard'.
The difficulty rating of Killers is pretty subjective.
I had some problems, but got used to him pretty quickly.
At most, i'd personally put him on Intermediate.
It'd probably be better for the devs to give them a "score" after the Killer's been out for a week or 3.
-
I like the idea.
Believe it or not, but i'd personally prefer the current Poised.
But this would most likely make it more popular, with Head On especially, since it's such a meme Perk.
-
The game's rules don't say anything about not playing easy Killers.
So go ahead.
If they have a problem with you doing that specific thing, the problem is actually with them.

I've seen other people play him really well, so I acknowledge that he can be really good but I've never felt really compelled to play as him consistently other than unlocking his teachables. I also play on console so my opinions on Deathslinger and Nurse are skewed towards that platform.
Ahh, understood. 👍️

I just think hag takes waaayyyy too much focus to play well. Also since the ruin nerf her perks are mostly worthless unless you're trying a once in a full moon meme build. I've watched streamers and Youtubers play her really well, but that's getting close to nurse level commitment and focus.
For me wraith just doesn't stand out as having much map pressure unless you use a high tier speed-when-cloaked add on and are playing against lower skilled survivors. I think I mostly put him in B tier because compared to the other killers I ranked higher his base kit isn't as interesting. His perks are mostly so-so, nothing all that spicy.
That's a lot of negative points for putting someone in B tier.
Or at least, i consider B tier as still good, but that explanation was moreso: "He's only fine if this and this and this."
Not that i disagree on some things, i'm of the opinion that, collectively, his Teachables are the worst out of all.
-
Okay, so i always try to let people keep their tier list however they want.
And this is still not me trying to make you change your opinion.
But seeing Hag in F tier instinctively made my face put on a worried expression.
Mah man Philip in B tier though, i'd like you to tell me why.
-
Special Killer Power: Press the active ability button to become unable to injure female Survivors.
-
I'm playing casually.
And no, that doesn't mean i've given up on winning nor do i soften up on them.
I just...Idk, i'm very relaxed playing this game.
Except when i do super-lunges as Wraith, i move forward with him sometimes to try and land that hit before they drop the Pallet or vault.
But that's just excitement.
Barely encounter game-hindering bugs, barely encounter toxicity, never get stressed.
Maybe it's just me who doesn't get SWF genrushers every trial...
-
I didn't mind the simplicity of this event, but i like things that break up the usual flow.
Besides, whichever they do, they'd either make people bored with just doing the usual gameplay, or they'll upset regular players because the others are doing the side objectives.
-
Any with corn, especially Rotten Fields.
Immunity to corn-vision + Survivors who 360 in corn & suspect you're not immune, even after getting hit in corn = free hits.
-
Imagine 1 Survivor being 31 meters away from him.
WOOPSIE, no hidden Aura for you! 😬

You do realize whenever The Wraith cloaks or uncloaks a whoosh sound goes around all the map? You already know its a wraith by the time he hunts his first target.
It's not map-wide.

Why? His default bell is so bad lol
That's your opinion to have.
I like having the option to not tell everyone immediately that i'm Wraith.
-
Kate & Wraith.
-
I prefer having Bone Clapper as an option instead of base.
-
Barbecue & Chili, Make Your Choice, Pop Goes The Weasel, Enduring, if i'm playing seriously.
-
I'd have to test that before saying yes or no.
-
I don't like the idea of saying it's all good because it's not as bad as before.
-
Let's just say Borrowed Time is one of many reasons why i like playing as Wraith...
-
Mmh, i don't really care about the match result anymore for Killer.
If i kill someone, that's a win.
If they escape, that's a loss.
For Survivor, it's still escaping.
-
The keyword being used in your main post is "reasonable".
-
Limbo?
That's a really odd option, i'd consider it creepy at most, and i was a crap-my-pants kind of guy back when it came out.
Amnesia would've been a great replacement.
Had difficulty between Outlast & Until Dawn, but due to how rushed the last few chapters felt in UD, i'd say Outlast.
Outlast 1 only though, Outlast 2's only good parts to me was in school flashbacks.
-
Wraith does.
Yeah, i know he doesn't have his own yet.
I'm just here so y'all know i was right from long long ago. 😉

I'd like this, people won't quit when they see a killer secret offering, people can all bring bps without having to message each other, survivors won't use two map offerings and can instead use one, and both sides are shown (or reminded) what offerings they used to effect the trial.
Don't see a single negative about this.
There are going to be negatives about this, i'm oh so sure.
One such example is: When the Killer sees someone's going to put up a Bloody Party Streamer, they might consider tunneling & camping them hard, to keep their BP as low as possible.
And i'm really not sure what i could do about that within this idea.
But i'm of the opinion that the positives, in that example, would outweigh the negatives.
The Killer doesn't have to think: "Oh, they put a BPS, so i will as well!"
But something like: "Oh, they put a BPS, so let me make sure i put a BP Offering so i earn even more!" would be a great mindset.
Or not caring about their Offerings would be fine too, they wouldn't be affecting the change in a negative way, so to me, that's automatically positive.
I don't know if this is a thing still, but weren't people able to avoid DC penalties from quitting during the Offering/loading screen?
Disregarding that DC penalties are off right now, this idea would also remove the incentive to disconnect if the Survivors see a secret Offering, or if the Killer sees 1-4 BPS Offerings and is either scared of the Survivors now or wants to waste their time.
But again, idk if it's still a thing, so i didn't include it in the main post.
-
Well if we are striving for more realism...
- Being in the Injured Health State makes Survivors unable to run.
- Killers can kill Survivors once they're in the Dying Health State.
- Very few Survivors know how to repair Generators and cannot do so without the right tools.
- Very few Survivors know how to heal others and cannot do so without the right tools.
- Bleeding infinitely is not a thing and 3 pools of blood is enough to be put into the Dying Health State, which last for 3 blood pools as well.
Nah, just kidding.
