  • It really is refreshing to step away from DbD. I almost equate it to cottage cheese. A good bite of chicken tastes great, but the second doesn’t usually top the first bite, I’m still lingering in good flavors, after all.

However, you kill that first bite with cottage cheese and the second bite of chicken suddenly tastes even better then the first.

After I play DbD, I can pick up any game and be mind blown over how more amazing it is over DbD. Whenever I get tired of these more amazing games, I go back to DbD and wallow in this cesspool for awhile and I know, the next time I touch a good game I abandoned, it will get the same amazing good games vibes all over again.

    Thanks DbD~

  • Gimme a kiss?

  • If you could just add a flower on his chest...I think then I could see it.

Does the Killer see the markers as well? (I guess not, but I prefer to ask!)

Somebody else answered that. (No). Funny I was just thinking about this too. I haven’t seen it in awhile.

The chests giving out keys and other rare items like candy without Plunderers is the most infuriating one.

Oh man, it’s a bug? I just started playing Survivor seriously and couldn’t help but notice that purple keys fall out of chests every game.

  • Took me awhile to ween myself off of this perk.

It was too powerful in my hands and I could break chase and disappear or never be found to begin with. I later realized by not sharing the burden with the team, I was essentially killing my team and was too self satisfied about being the last to die or being the only escape.

I had to give it up and learn to be chased. Great perk, very strong, easy to get addicted to. I’d recommend using it for a month and the not touching it for awhile and see if you have withdraw symptoms lol.

  • I’m tired of hearing my friend breaking his controller through my headset. I’m always like, Dood, just keep a simple rhythm it’s not as frantic as you think it is and you don’t need your whole arm strength to wiggle...just sway your stick back and forth.

Noob mentality is breaking items. If I was a funny content creator, I’d make a joke video about this concept, ages ago. Probably already exists somewhere.

  • I’m a Killer Main and I have only one tiny complaint about DH.

It’s a confusing perk to face without prior knowledge. Baby Killer me was never baiting out DH and always hopelessly swinging, never really figuring out why I seemed so close to the Survivor but some how wasn’t connecting with my swing.

They are hurt, my adrenaline is pumping, I know I need this down, my FOV is filled with a Survivor because I made sure to get close, real close...then I lunge forward and...

    • With no noise notification
    • With a jankey visual that could be a lag spike for all I know (console)
    • and with no ability on my side (through the game) to look at a perk encyclopedia and read on up on or see a small clip of the perk in action...

    I miss.

I have literally no idea what happened or why it happened. My biggest struggle starting off in this game was trying to realize DH was a thing and not be convinced that I’m just very terrible.

Anyway, I don’t feel DH is terrible. I do think “DH just saved you” but I think that with “Lithe just saved you” or “Sprint burst just saved you”...

Yeah...Survivors have second chance Perks and if used correctly they extend the chase...I’m not seeing the problem or abuse here.

probably so you dont switch to spirit whenever you see 4 toolboxes. also survivor switching isnt a problem cuz all survivors are the same

Glad to know that a Dweet dressed in bright colors and holding nothing will give me the same gaming experience when he fast swaps to P3 Claudette holding a key.

    A derp.

  • I think I was once tunneled out of the game because the Killer brought Obsession related perks and had a strategy in mind but my habit of using For The People several times a match made me keep stealing away the obsession status.

I kept losing it because of Nemesis I think. Anyway, he finally found me and took me out for good. Tunneled me out.

  • I dislike when Survivors do that, specially when they sit and gloat over it.

If I do one tiny bit of team BM, it’s that I like to struggle long and hard, hoping Killer can find hatch or other survivor before I die.

I want us all to escape and so don’t mind sacrificing myself at the end...but god damn do I secretly love knowing the survivor is slinking around whispering to themselves, “please just die, please #########, please please please...”

  • How are they expected to fix something in a week? Give them six months to sort this out. They’ve never disappointed us before, you just haven’t given them the two years they needed to find the solution. I promise you by the end of the 5th year waiting, he will probably have built in ricochet and can keep laceration damage without decay.

Then you’ll see how silly you were for starting this topic.

    Happy April Fo- (dies inside)

  • Survivors are just going through a new stage where they have to evolve. Problem is many are trying the other tactic of throwing a tantrum and refusing to play the game.

Sadly, BHVR will probably cave to survivors before they let a small portion of them grow up, in fear they might rage quit for realz.

Personally, I’m a Killer main for several years (everybody max level with all perks) who is only now trying out playing survivor exclusively. I just played for 2 hours at yellow rank.

No more suicide hooks then normally seen this week and honestly, considering all the level 20-16 rank killers I faced (who I thought would be naturally more territorial and tunnel happy) have actually been pretty lenient and forgiving.

    Nobody face camped.

This phenomenon feels more like a red rank thing. Like all the red rank killers who’ve been chained down by an OP perk are letting loose and playing a lil old school.

Hopefully people can mellow out and killers can go back to playing more chill or survivors can start taking note of Killers new favorite tactic of the month and respond accordingly.

  • Something I wish they would add is some SFX to her traps. I get the beeping is a audible and haunting reminder that your luck is running out, but I’d like more frantic breathing, or the occasional visible pulse every time you hit the next beeping stage.

Something, anything. Even if you don’t change a damn thing, you can still trick the human brain to feel more scared and frantic about having scary pixels threatening to kill my disposable avatar.

    :/

  • I was disappointed when I saw him in p2b and only played two games before I knew he was dog sh*t to me. I saw what people were doing on PC and opted to give him another shot but..

he didn’t look fun, didn’t feel fun, and I know BHVR will never help console Blight so I just left him alone.

Granted, I’ve ignored other killers for years and then ultimately warmed up to them and play them more often, but I highly doubt that will happen with Blight. I’d rather play trapless trapper.

  • I like when I’m hooked and the killer starts losing his mind looking around.

I dislike when they stop looking around and slowly look back at me. (Oh god, he didn’t see anybody!)

  • Uh...my heart wasn’t ready for this thread. </3

  • If it’s Chucky, I’ll...I’ll...

    • Buy his chapter
    • Re-buy the game again if you wanna make it a Chucky edition with an exclusive skin
    • Ill buy all his skins
    • I’ll buy the next season pass
    • Ill play him no matter how weak you make him
    • Ill stop posting here
    • Ill have your baby

    Just gimme.

  • @Baby_Victor said:

For this next chapter? Well obviously Wraith is going to forget how to lunge after he uncloaks~

    Called it.

  • BHVR always has to taketh something before the can giveth something.

    So decreeds Lord Entity.

  • I only see one Trickster Main, the rest of you haven’t changed your icons.

  • They have no real competition or motivation, they just need to keep a decent amount of momentum and reluctantly give us what we want (occasionally).

  • Still working, thanks.

  • Well, as others suggested, hard to communicate with a frantic survivor that you could give them a health state if only they would stop for just one second.

It be nice if you could also trigger FTP if you were within 5m of an injured survivor for x amt of seconds. That way you could chase an injured survivor and trigger the perk.

Anyway, I’ve stopped playing killer and exclusively playing survivor this week and FTP is a big reason why. I think it’s a fun perk.

  • BHVR actually has to try on License Chapters, maybe I’m not really against original characters but I unconsciously realized this fact and that’s why I’m always hoping and pushing for more licensed chapters.

  • The Trick is you thought he was actually a Killer. Now we just have 5 survivors running around the map~

  • Jeezus, give them time. They should be here in the next 2-3 years. BHVR needs to make sure everything is perfectly broken before release. None of this is accidental, it’s magic~

  • @My_Aespa said:

Omg if he was a survivor, that would be amazing!

You can have him, I’ll trade you the Nea.

  • I couldn’t find it either. Such a downer.

  • Probably the new end game build that will come with his perk. I’ll be using NOED till I get use to him.

  • I’m a Killer Main, but even I’m a bit excited to play some survivor with this perk. I like being the gen jockey, I also like tokens.

Im using this with my favorite perk Stake Out xD

  • For this next chapter? Well obviously Wraith is going to forget how to lunge after he uncloaks~

  • Bro...you just do your idea but add a small bp bump to those killers/survivors who use those shrine perks (double the small bonus for using both) and call it a day.

No need to punish people, incentive them.

  • I’d suggest that once a survivor DC and, in turn, forcibly opens the hatch, then the hatch is revealed to the Killer and stays Entity blocked for 10 seconds.

Turn the DC into a tool that helps the Killer and it will never be an issue again.

  • Despite how others feel, I always enjoyed this feature in Friday too. I’d hit the random button check box if we had one. ✅

  • @KiwiCoattails said:

If you know they’re in the locker, it’s really easy to make them miss. If your issue is for when you don’t know they’re in a locker, how is that any different than somebody getting a surprise pallet stun? There’s no ‘counter play’ to that either. 🥴

Yeah? Believe Spirit Fury might say something to that. I agree with OP, don’t see why a Killer can’t stake a whole perk slot to counter a specific perk. Not like BHVR doesn’t do that all the time.

  • I’m guessing the next Licensed chapter isn’t as exciting as we all hope it’s going to be, so they opted to put out a bunch of lackluster/broken chapters so they can make it seem more hyped and amazing then it really will be.

Thats my tin-foil hat take on this.

Ill but and try Trickster regardless but I won’t consider playing him consistently without an outfit that seems less stupid. Might as well call him April in that banana rain coat.

  • If you wanna know why I’m actually a Killer Main, it’s because I get a BP bump (BBQ) and I don’t have enough time or energy to get all the perks and grind out another monster load (the survivor side).

Shame, I’d like to one day consider me a 50/50 player, but the game isn’t enjoyable enough on solo to warrant the long unforgiving BP grind.

Might as well call myself a Killer.

  • Hard to get a judgement when BHVR holds him hostage. Had they extended the release one more week then I would have started calling Trickster by Vickster instead...

Ill hold judgement for now, but I have seen lots of suggestions about buffing him by DbD community, BHVR seemed to not care again and decided to piss everyone else off more lol.

  • Some people might think, Oh if I’m good with Huntress then I might be god tier with my new spam ability, but your probably just gunna get frustrated your not as powerful or rewarded as Huntress is.

Im terrible with Huntress, so I might actually enjoy this forgiving Killer (throwing wise) because I got 60 knives or w/e to pelt people with. Lotta room to miss.

Anyway, even if we exclude your interest in Trickster, how do you feel about the perks? R they not worth it to you?

  • I had my doubts too (because Blight) but after reading through the comments, imma assume your console. Nice win, imma save this pic and look at it any time I get rolled on my console Blight. Your an inspiration~

    xD

  • I tried putting PWYF on Twins, with the idea that I could break chase with obsession, when I call Victor, and when I come back I’d have a speed token.

Maybe pair it’s up with Nemesis to keep a constant flow of speed.

Very inconsistent perk on Twins. Not sure why I couldn’t get it to work sometimes.

  • I’m a killer main, so my opportunities to get this are slim, but I had a AFK killer once and another survivor called me to follow and showed me hatch. Then handed me the key.

The rest of the game was each survivor running away to try and get the attention of another survivor, and me helplessly watching as the ‘one guy’ had no idea what everyone was trying to accomplish.

I passed the key to another and tried my take at corralling the noob but apparently the new key holder decided to put us out of our misery and popped hatch.

    3 of us jumped out.

Closest I ever expect to popping this trophy :/

  • Yeah, getting BBQ on Twins recently was a nightmare. Wish DBD would adopt the CoD idea that when prestiging, you can choose one perk to carry over.

Be nice to be able to P3 my killers with a BBQ already stashed in my back pocket.

  • Well I didn’t...but now?

  • If I brought Left Behind, then I used my perk efficiently and ‘won’ the game regardless of the outcome to my “team”. You shall feel my full thrusts of victory!

    /s

  • The bp bonus perk really should stay on the perks that promote leaving hook. I’d laugh my ass off if they changed the BP bonus to Make Your Choice. It will still incite killers to leave the area, just provide more lethality and less information gathering lol.

That better for you survivors? xD

  • Probably because her expensive cosmetic is like a P3 outfit on steroids. B*tch is wearing intestines.

  • I keep having the DbD thought “Sure would be cool if they added a killer who uses traps.” But then I remember Trapper and I go brain dead.

Really wish they would buff him, or at the very least give him a ‘new’ trap. So many traps exist. Not just the ones to capture bears <_<
