I don't think that's a good idea personally.
That would hurt Myers/Doctor/Wraith etc.
You would immediately look for Myers/Wraith hurting their ambush/scary start. Doctor people would immediately jump into lockers and so on.
The killers who wouldn't be effected by this are Billy/Nurse/Huntress/Freddy because they have loud audio at the start of every match.
It's always fun to figure out who the killer is.

You cannot buy any dlc on console with shards besides clown/kate.
You can only buy the other dlcs with cells and that's a very bad idea as you miss out on bonus outfits and end up paying more than if you just bought the chapter.
You also miss out on Kate's bonus outfit if you buy her with shards or cells.

No. Bad idea. Killers need to be able to react.
Flashlights? Lightborn/Franklin's
Toolboxes? Hangman trick/Franklins/Ruin
Killers should also be able to dodge bad looking lobbies if they want.

When you get it on PS+ you don't need to ever buy it again.
It's not a single player game so you cant lose it when your membership runs out because you need membership to play in the first place.
You can buy dlc for it it'll be as if you own the game.

The event post by @not_Queen says 15:00 UTC on the 7th so I wouldn’t get too excited tonight, it’s possible we may still get it at the shrine refresh time but according to utc time on the 7th that’s at like 10am tomorrow for me, so I’m gonna play tonight and hope I get kicked off for an update and if not then tomorrow for sure after work I can enjoy it.
Yep she just edited the post. It starts at 11am tomorrow for eastern us/ 8am pacific

No. It'll only have the bonus BP for completing event objectives when you burn a BBQ invite.
Double BP is coming later in the summer. So probably next month right after the next chapter?

It doesn't really matter.
There are much harder/more rewarding trophies on that list than getting rank 1.
like Skilled Huntress, the 3 blink grab or evil incarnate.
They probably just had too many trophies in the base list so they had to cut it.

I get it often at end game. Slug/Hook one then bloodlust 3 a safe pallet to prevent a save or hatch attempt. Kicking animation let's them get away from the pallet.

It probably won't come as a patch. It's likely just a switch they need to flip since everything has already been in the game files.

I hope the next killer is good. My expectations aren't very high though. I'd like a killer that kicks one of the top 3 out of their spot.
So a Nurse/Billy/Huntress tier killer.
Licensed killer would be cool since its the only killer coming before Halloween and we traditionally get licensed killers around that time.

The time they were mentioned isn't the issue.
The fact that it's now going into an actual PTB is. This isn't the time for killer nerfs we are still weak. This will just make us weaker.
