Survivor players are sick of his power forcing them to sit in one place and hold m1 for 12 seconds or even longer if Killer brought blades add-ons. Also, mending isn't provided with any skill checks and does barely awards some Bloodpoints (only 100 BP if I am not mistaking). Furthermore, if Legion is close, you will always get injured and deep wound unless Legion himself makes a terrible mistake. You as Survivor basically cannot outplay Legion in Frenzy in that case. And finally, when he is not in his power, he is an extremely generic m1 Killer with no unique stuff.
Legion in the term of effectiveness of his power is an average killer at best, but due to the bunch of moments I've mentioned he is infuriatingly boring to go against which is the main reason Survivors DC against this Killer.
-
Oni is very awful to go vs because his power neturally forces people to slug which is incredibly boring to deal with.
And, as it has already been said, Legion turns the game into m1 simulator.
-
hmm, according to this footage Technician is actually working, but I am still annoyed because before the implemention of new gen repair noises this perk also muffled repairings for Survivors drastically as well. Right now from the Survivor perspective I just don't feel the job of the perk which makes me kinda frustrated.
-
Tunnell if you want, just remember that by doing so you punish Survivors not using DS and other meta perks and your tactic will encourage them to use those perks. So, you basically worsen your gameplay expirience in the long term.
-
As Killer, I have some problems hitting Survivors through pallets, it became a bit more difficult to abuse. This is actually nice!

I'm pretty sure they'll keep coming up in the bloodweb until you get them, therefore stopping other perks taking the place, I'm not sure though as the longest I delayed getting one is only 3 bloodwebs.
After 50th level there will be 4 perks you can choose in this case - 3 teachables and 1 random one. As you can see - not upgrading teachables dramatically lowers your chances of getting perks I want to have.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Just don't get those perks in his bloodweb then and you're good to go. You said yourself you don't like them so not being able to unlock them further shouldn't be an issue for you either.
You know that if I try to skip them (perks with orange backrounds) - they will just appear on next levels constantly until I finally upgrade them.
-
Not a new perk, but I want some love for an already existing perk.
TECHNICIAN (Feng Min)
You are filled with extreme focuse after cleansing a Totem. Doing that activates the perk and gives you next effects:
- 10/11/12% increased chances of triggering a Skill Check while repairing.
- Each succeeded Great Skill Check whilie working on a Generator grants you a stackable 1% bonus to repair speed for the rest of the trial.
Failing a Skill Check while the perk is active:
- makes you lose all the repair speed bonus from Technician.
- does not alert the Killer of your location.
-
I imagine if develops at last buff Monstrous Shrine by the 5th anniversary with those chapters..
-
I used Object of Obsession and Decisive Strike. Both of them increase chances of becoming the obsession at the beginning, so I became the obsession two times in a row. So... yeah, use multiple multiple Obsession perks and you will have this challenge succeded in time)

Wasn't it disabled last week?
I don't know, but if it wasn't, the whole job developers have done to improve unfair hits right now is rather detrimental than wortful (Huntress is broken again).
-
@Bumbus said:
No, it won't. Nobody cares about BPs. You play killer to kill, not to farm numbers at the screen.
the main reason why Killers slug for the 4k is emblems. Currently it is impossible to get 2 pips without keeping the third Survivor on the ground while searching for the final one.
This change would imo remove tons of motivation to slug the third person bcs doing it will not change anything.
-
Unnerving Presence since a patch which implemented ui changes for Coulrophobia, Overwhelming Presence and Unnerving itself no longer affects the Decisive Strike Skill Checks.

Can you explain Pop more? I'm a bit confused on the wording.
I suggest that the Pop’s mechanis partly should be in the basekit.
If you do not have Pop, after hooking a Survivor you have time of 60 seconds to kick a generator. The generator after being damaged does not only start regress, but instantly loses 10% of its entire progression as well.
If you use Pop, the regression becomes more dramatic and increased from 10% in comparison with basekit to 20/22/25% depending on the level of the perk.
-
@SloppyKnockout said:
Maps need to be addressed before Pop is ever touched. Maps being addressed would also remedy a lot of what Unbreakable is used for, because a lot of killers tend to slug PURELY for pressure because gen pressure, with certain killers on certain maps is nearly impossible.
You can't rip off the bandaid before fixing the very thing the bandaid was designed to remedy.
Besides - Pop has a direct counter. It's called Repressed Alliance.
Pop should not be nerfed! I didn’t suggest a nerf! It still the same: you have 60 seconds after hooking someone to kick a gen and make it lose 25% of the entire repair progress. The idea is to close the gap between pop and non-pop users!
-
Are you serious?
-
@Peanits said:
It's definitely too powerful to not be a hex, especially if you throw Surveillance into the mix. That's 200% regression as soon as you force someone off the generator and you have instant feedback to tell which generators are being worked on. Normally that's balanced by the fact that it can be destroyed, but having constant info on where everyone is and what they're doing with no way to disable it would be pretty crazy.
Yeah, but what if we talk about hex perks like Huntress' Lullaby? Huntress' Lullaby currently is an underwhelming perk proving itself somewhat useful only in very niche builds on Doctor, or against weak Survivor players. It would be great if the perk became more versatile and consistent so it could encourage Killers to use slow down perks other than Thanatophobia, Pop Goes The Weasel.

Ahh, the classic "CAMPING AND TUNNELING, REEEEEEEEEEE".
Just admit to it, you can still easily get gen-rushed if you spread the damage. Numerous videos of streamers getting 2 hooks on 4 survivors have only lead them to their demise. 1 kill and "Brutal Killer" in the match lobby.
If red rank Killers get Brutal Killer against amazing groups of Survivors, does not this mean that the Killers prove themselves normally, as they should in their ranks?

Nope, but don’t complain about a good game that you obviously carried.
it is a team game after all and everyone should actually take part in the different tasks for a balanced experience for the 4 teammates, that’s how the game is designed. I often get max lightbringer but I get why there is a cap on it.
I carried the game obviously, but I got very dissatisfied after sitting in one place and holding m1 for about six minuts..
-
Answering the title, Survivors must be able to do gens very quickly in order to counter Killers following such tactics like hard camping and hard tunneling.
-
@Mooks said:
You get noticed once you have reached the cap for repairing gens (which is capped at 8K BP and is Part of Lightbringer)
for more points you gotta do different things (chasing and altruistic actions plus the very inconsistent survival category)
since you got 24K you obv got other points as well, and that is a pretty good outcome, and really no reason to complain..
You say I had to drop doing gens and eliminate any chances of our team getting escape?
-
@BadMrFrosty said:
Just a darker color palette for the game as a whole would add so much more to it. This would definitely push the game more toward horror and a bit further away from action where genres are concerned.
Strognly agree with you. However, the game before used to be a lot darker, and Claudettes were able to hide ANYWHERE isnanely easily.

survivors still crying out because devs nerfed old BnP, like it was a fun and interactive mechanic.
Old BnP was an example of a completely overpowered stuff.

You make a lot of valid points however they said they were in the works of a beginning game collapse of sorts. This should fix that issue.
"They were in works of a beginning game collapse of sorts"...
To be totally honest, this does not sound promising. In winter they said that they are going to buff/rework Vigil, Any Means Neccesary and other Survivor perks. Did they release the changes after almost 6 months?
-
Just recolors, but how different they are.
I would like to see them on pc/console honestly.
-
I miss ultra rare perks. With them I was a lot easier to search perks you need because they were sorted in 3 colors.

Yes, but Plunderer and Streetwise combo takes 2 perk slots, two! I think ecerything is fine with this.

The people working on DLC were hired to work on DLC.
What you're saying is like 'Well, those guys mixing concrete for my new house could be putting in windows! Why aren't they putting in windows!?'
Just because one team does one thing does not mean work is slowed down in other areas. The company is large enough to have big, dedicated teams for each thing.
It doesn't justify the devs. The game is almost 4 years and it is still incredible unstable.
Weird hitboxes, numerous Killer or non specific bugs, lighting, so many issues in sounds being ignored for plenty of months, and so on.
-
@Khar said:
How many times do people like you need to be told that DLC and bug fixes are handled by different teams?
Do you think that team working on DLC's cannot work on the game's health? They are not artists, so I think they can, but they don't want because of the priorities.

"Block swf"... You dont want to play DBD anymore, do you?
This game is unique, and it can be very enjoyable, but I am tired of swf and moris, both of them are extremely unfun to go against.
I am kinda addicted.

Cooperate with someone for 180 seconds.....

Devs, just put on each empty space 100 shards. By doing this you'll fix also the problem of iridescent shards being farmed only mindlessly.

I actually just had this happen to me. Might be an bug with the new hotfix, as I've never had it happen before.
Patches, ESPECIALLY HOTFIXES, are meant to fix buges, not introduce new ones..
-
mm.. Personally, I like so much that they've washed this face.
-
In my personal opinion it should.
Firstly, Inner Strength discourages Survivors from doing more than just 1 totem. Until the perk is used, Survivors again become focused only on Generators, they have no reason to NOT be because of the limitation.
Secondly, this perk anyway would take more time to heal than If you just used med kit. 14 seconds of cleansing, plus 8 seconds in lockers, 3-4 seconds to enter and leave a locker, and time required to find Totems and then lockers. Generally Inner Strength takes more than 30 seconds to get one heal.

I haven't had much issues with the pallet stuns, I've only gotten stuck once, and that's about it. Though in regards to the lunge, I think that's "Auto-Aim", have had that happen to me multiple times.
How often is it actually happening? Like every single match?
I get stuck at least each 2 games..
My internet itself is solid, but I am a resident of eastern Russia, there are no servers at all. I ahev constantly ping 160 ms..

A great counter against Freddy is staying awake as long as possible.
Use those watches, or fail skill checks, Freddy against awake Survivors is no more than m1 Killer with no special ability.

This should be bannable, as while with Bubba you can technically make a save, with this you literally can't.
If Bubba holds the chainsaw - it is impossible to save the Survivor without greatly hurting the entire team..

oh damn XD
it hurts

Why did you decide to not touch the size of next maps: Mother's Dwelling, Disturbed Ward and Mount Ormond Resort?
The first two of them are enormously huge, most m1 Killers are simply not able to protect generators, the distances between them are tremendous.
Mount Ormond Resort, though it is not big, but all generators spawn really far from each other. Also this map has issues with lighting (pale scratch marks and auras)

@ALostPuppy said:
Should it really affect all interactions? Let's look at the description of the perk:
You are motivated in dire situations.
Grants 3/6/9 % increased Repairing, Healing, Sabotage, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Gate Opening, and Chest Searching speeds while injured.
Resilience was never meant to increase the speed of things like jigsaw boxes, snapping out of it etc. If it was meant to then they would change the perk and the description to show that.
Spine Chill destription says it increases repair, heal and sabotage speeds.
However, it increases the speed of as many actions as Resilience does.
-
@Ksoni said:
Why doesn't increase it movment speed? Why doesn't it increase the speed i start croutching?
I wanted to say that Resilience should must affect all the speeds at which you perform interactions, only interations.
Anyway, I appreciate for a constructive comment.

Very easy solution - just limit SWF capacity from 4 to 2.
Duo swf are not that broken. If people want to play all together - there are Custom Game option.
I don't see reasons not to do this, 4 Survivor brains bonded with comms is objectively overpowered thing.
-
Her old voice was very disgusting objectively, but I liked it a lot because it was A LOT more naturalistic and real.
Personally, yeah, I would like to hear old Kate's voice again.

Well, if you nerf BL, which was an alternative to Dead Hard, surely they will go for Dead Hard.
But I guess Dead Hard should first function correctly before thinking about changing it. Because "Press E to be exhausted on the ground" is not that strong of an effect.
The most problematic thing in this perk is how it works at loops.
Even with dedicated servers you can perfectly see how Dead Hard is strong and unfair.
-
Nope, because developers are busy with.... making new cosmetics and DLC's
