I'm disappointed with Claudettes sweater. But I give the Devs props for her other new outfits. I love the new Japanese themed one in the store and I love the upcoming one thats featured in the upcoming skins on youtube. I would post the link but I am not sure if im allowed to.

I love you

I don’t have him so I can’t comment on his nerf, but I will say the amount of Oni-chans that I have been facing has become nonexistent for the past 3 days. I play a lot and I haven’t seen him at all.
I guess killers who liked him can’t stand him anymore. It’s a shame, I was terrified of him. He had a great presence, and his soundtrack along with his roar instilled great fear. The design team really did a great job with him.

The way to deal with it is counterintuitive. They want your attention, so you don't give it to them, with exceptions.
Generally, they're trying to lure you in a chase. If they're heading toward a series of strong tiles and you're using a loopable killer, then you ignore them, just like you should. Chances are they're going to follow you around to get you on them. Congratulations, you have one fewer survivor on generators. If they get too cocky and expose themselves on weak tiles or get too close, that's when you chase them. It's not unusual to see an instant DC when you down them like that.
Some killers may facecamp survivors who behave like this. It's legal and you get no argument from me for or against. If the survivor wants the attention, then they just got it. Remember though, that unless you're playing Bubba, you can't really snipe down a specific survivor out of the game with certainty. If they're a coordinated team with anti-tunneling perks, the best you can do is to force hook trades. So, in general it's a better deal to just play normally. Once you've nullified they're offensive by ignoring their taunts, you've already half defeated them.
Also, if tbagging gets you, then stay away from the exit gates when they're open.
I came in here to say what you said, but you wrote it better than I could have.
As for the tbagging exit gates, I always go. There’s a small chance I could get them off guard.
One time, the last survivor was tbagging and running around thinking they were safe since I was playing Wraith who has nothing he could really do against a survivor at full health at the gate. So I humored her and started to jerk my body around by repeatedly pushing a direction a few times and then switching to a different direction and kept doing it to make it look like a stupid dance. Anyways, it lured them in and WHACK! Instant down because of NOED. It was so hilarious to hook them. It made my night.

The answer is always Claudette.

Just hurry up and release Dwelf (with jingling bells) and Claudettes new outfits plz.

The only incentive I see is that all my daily rituals are killer based. So they’re trying to bribe me with blood points to play killer. Doesn’t work, give me a recolor if a mask or something. This games needs more cosmetics.

I’ve been in this situation on the hook, and Camaraderie has been a HUGE help while the rescuer hides waiting for the killer to leave again.
I would like to use Camaraderie, but I feel too naked without self heal and urban evasion.

What if I'm looking for sweet totems or literally hiding from the killer right in front of me and the rest of the team happen to be doing nothing. I can't count how many times I've been on the way to the hook and stop to hide or cleanse a hex totem and they kill themselves on hook.
Or I go for an unhook when the killer's at the other end of the map and they kill themselves in front of me...
This happens to me so much. I’m literally there, about to pull them off the hook but Premonition and Spinechill go off, so I crouch and hide so the killer doesn’t farm. Hooked person gets impatient and attempts to jump off or commits suicide.
-
I would love a mode where I could just go in and practice using a flashlight.
-
So, what can the Devs do for killers to even put the matches a bit more?
-
If you suspect your going up against a SWF, bring in an Ebony Mori. Once I max out all my killers, I’ll will farm as many moris I could.
Im a potato killer so I’ll never be able to compete with an optimal SWF. If they’re not toxic, I’ll play normally and have fun. For the most part, I’m happy if I get 1-2 kills. I also enjoy farming with the last two survivors, though I’m learning some survivors get so triggered when I suggest we farm, so I’m cutting that behavior down. It’s nice to just have fun playing a game.
The problem is with the sweaty and toxic players. They’re only wanting to have fun at the expense of their opponents. If I see store bought cosmetics and a streamers tag attached to a player name, I’m bringing in NOED(who am I kidding, I’m so bad that I need it)and a Mori. I’ll play nice at first, if I see a flashlight clicking, tbagging turd trying to get my attention, I’ll completely ignore them. Sometimes I’ll do a little dance and twirl and then leave them. I feel like that aggravates them more than anything else I could do. If they’re all sweaty and pro loopers, I’ll tunnel the weakest link. The faster I get rid of a survivor, the easier it is to kill the left overs.

Yea, if you know the perks you want, only level those survivors, if you level all of them then you'll see more random perks on the web and it'll be harder to get the perks you want.
You said that earlier, and I didn't understand, but now my noggin is kick'n a bit so I got you. I regret getting Claudette to P2 now. Oh well, more stuff to grind.
-
@Seanzu said:
Ok, you can save a heck tonne of points by leveling for the perks you want.
If you know the perks you want to go for, level each of their respective characters to level 40, then pick a survivor to main and prestige three them, get the build you want to play with and then level everyone else.
For killers, the route is pretty standard
Hag - Ruin
Leatherface - BBQ
Trapper - Agi/Brutal
Clown - Pop
Thanks, I didn't know Bubba had BBQ, so now I need to buy him and level him next.

If I was you I'd go for teachables first, then I'd do 1 survivor of choice, then all killers, and then all survivors.
Annoying Nancy has a beautiful base outfit if you can't afford a sweater for her.
My OCD will drive me crazy if I don't get everyone to level 50, so I am going to have to do it all. Also, my Bae is Claudette, I want to P3 her, but I am waiting until I get everyone else's teachables. Her new Japanese shirt is beautiful, and pair it up with the sexy hair and makeup, pure fire.
-
Thank you, it was driving me crazy

He should get an elf hat with a bell and two googly eyes glued to his head. Maybe fluffy gold rope thingy (Don't celebrate Christmas and don't know what it's called <.<) around his neck.
-
Silent bell Wraith.
I love pulling survivors off of gens, or uncloaking in a doorway, body blocking an unsuspecting survivor in a small room and waiting for them to turn around and see I’m standing there, watching them, waiting for them to see me.

@bendermac said:
@Peanits any comments on the issue?
Playing on these maps is no fun for either side, but especially unfun for killers :(
That is just your opinion. I love the new maps darkness and I’m pretty sure other survivors that are fellow Blendettes love it. I’m also confident stealth killer such as Mrs Piggy, Ghostface, Wraith and Meyers enjoy the added sneakiness of the map too.
-
No thank you. We have two Japanese themed killers, time for something from a different part of the world. Give us an Egyptian themed mummy/zombie hybrid with a pyramid map.

What's the "current definition" of "Blendette"? It used to refer to P3 Claudette only but people called me "Blendette" even when I wore the shiny blue samurai shirt or even her pink base shirt. I'm also planning to get her upcoming cosmestic which happens to be black because it looks awesome:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EK4EzmIXYAMe600?format=jpg&name=medium
Is this really a new costume? If so, I may have to make my first cosmetic purchase using real money.

@HellDescent said:
They will be the first to die. I'm tired of going through an entire game without seeing them once.
Please don’t. Well, don’t if you see me, I’m a potato through and through. I couldn’t survive if I tried to loop you, can’t blind to save my life, and I actually don’t like pallet hitting a killer because I hate it when it’s done to me.
If not, I’ll be forced to become one with the bush.
Another alternative is to use an offering that takes you to an indoor map. Indoor maps are anti-Claudette maps.

I've made friends with 90% of the good players on xbox, which is like 5 people total
LOL,
If it helps, most of my teammates on PC are potatoes too. I’m probably their king. Just this morning I was sneaking around at the beginning of the match and just walked right into Trapper. I was like, Sh*t! I just had to potato up the start of the match and resigned myself to the hook so I walked over to the hook to save Trapper the trouble.
He took pity on me, picked me up and stepped into a trap so I could get away. He even motioned for me to do a gen.
Not all killers are nice, not all are mean, and not all are tryhards. We need the mix of play styles (even campers) that we have in this game because if everyone played the same, it would get boring quick.

Key phrase "well coordinated" i.e. not xbox survivors
That’s not the killers fault. You should be complaining about potato survivors. You also have the option to make friends with the other survivors and get better together. It should be easy to do on Xbox and the voice connection it can provide.

The thing is, survivor dont control the game, killers do, I play both side, but I play survivor more because killer is too easy, its basically a 4k every game because they literally control the lobby
Youre completely wrong. Survivors can control the game as much as the killer does. Some do it better than others. A well coordinated team with the right perks can destroy almost any killer.
-
Also, I love getting camped by Ghostface as long as he twerks for me. Or Daddy Michael wearing his hospital gown.

Ok killer main on pc, play survivor on xbox once then try talking
I’m not a killer main, I play both sides, and my play style of choice is a scaredy-cat Blendette who hides from and avoids the killer as much as possible. I’m actually a terrible killer, who is easily looped or mind gamed by survivors.
I’m not going to come to the forums to complain about survivors playing how they want. They want to be daring and loop me, that’s fine. Do they want to be one with the bush? That’s fine too. Killers hate it when they can’t find the survivors, but I don’t see many threads of them complaining about it, nor will I complain about it. It’s a players choice of how they play the game. As long as it doesn’t break the games, it’s not wrong unless devs state otherwise.
I get camped plenty enough, but I don’t let it bother me since it’s in almost every pvp game.
-
It is not fun for the survivor*
It is toxic for survivors*
It is a legitimate strategy for killers.
Is it a poor strategy? Definitely, but it doesn’t make it unviable. Blame your teammates if you lose the match, not the killer. They don’t have to immediately rescue you.
A killer has every right to camp a survivor they have downed. They also have every right to tunnel someone if they so choose, especially if the survivor looped them around the whole map or has a key. Until the devs come out with a rule book saying otherwise, there’s no point in complaining.
Practice looping or outright evading the killer. So many people think it’s ok to run around everywhere and leave scratch marks and not run Spinechill and yet complain about the killer taking advantage of their poor choices.
-
Before a match starts I just tell people if you’re hooked and being camped, wave your arms. Unfortunately, people rather ignore it and save me while the killer is look at the hook.
-
I can't blind the killer to save my life even if he stood still ;_;
I don't know how I am going to complete this challenge. When I do try, the focus me down for bringing in a flashlight.

i want claudette nerfed. just because.
also i want all maps darker after she’s nerfed.
I agree with the maps, they need to be darker with more fog.
You are wrong about Claudette. She needs buffs. She also needs more hairstyles, long painted fingernails, more outfits, and the ability to backflip across the map faster than the Oni could dash.

No, disco balls reflect light. Bending light can make something appear invisible.

Claudette truly needs a nerf tbh.
You and the devs need stay away from my bae. She is perfect. If anything, she needs an extra perk that lets her bend light around her when she stands still.

Wraith is fabulous. He doesn’t need your filthy suggestion. He needs an uncloaking speed boost and more costumes.
-
What he said.
Buff Wraith.
Buff Clown.
Buff Plague.
We don’t talk about the *e*i*n - They’ve been through too much already.
-
Rather than nerf survivors, I’d just wish they would work more on server tech, improve hitboxes, improve the maps so survivors couldn’t abuse them , and buff weaker killers.
-
I had the peek from a corner, stalk and hit daily for GF and it was hard to do because of all the grass. I ended up just trolling around and pissing off a survivor because he wanted me to play more seriously.
It’s great for Claudette and Meg in her black jacket. I’ve crouched next to boulders and had killers just walk right by me many times.

This is a known issue. We are looking into it, but it didn't make it into this hotfix in time.
Make sure you guys “accidentally” increase his movement speed while uncloaking by 100%.

Thanks for that, I really needed the laugh.

The Trapper shall start the match shirtless. Survivors would become stunned by the beauty of Trappers upper body physique for 3 minutes, giving Trapper time to set traps.

Yes. Everytime I play Trapper I end up singing his theme tune as I place traps, or when playing as Wraith I always say a Ding Ding when I uncloak. We need those voices as a DLC. I'd throw money at BHVR for that voice pack!
Devs need to make Trapper have an option to leave a trail of ginger snaps that lead hungry survivors to his traps.
He also needs his unique chase music.
-
You better give that good bush a treat and belly rubs.

YES! I forgot about him! It doesn't help that when I face him in game, all I see is a giant deformed puppy. I just can't get scared. It's worse when he nods his head, it makes me want to pet him.

Saminations Parody of Dbd has ruined me. Every time I think of a character, I instantly hear the voices that Samination used for them. I especially love their Dwight, Claudette, Trapper(the best), and Wraith.

No. Game is still fun. Maybe you just need a break.
Nothing wrong with developers wanting to make a living.
Nothing in the store is required for you to play.
Base game is more often than not $10.
They need money to pay their bills and run servers.
They’re not a giant company who could just throw more people at their problems.
Yes, it still needs work, but it is still very much playable.
Get out of your shell switch up your play style, perks, or character. If you only play one side, switch to the other.
They already stated that they’re not going to do any events in order to iron out bugs.
-
I don’t have enough perks to consistently play my GF. I play him for the daily ritual, and it’s kinda hard to stalk them around the corner when they’re always looking for you or when you have a bunch of grass everywhere. So in order to prolong the game I’ll just moonwalk while twerking to get the survivors a sense of security to go back to gens.
I had one person cuss me out and threaten to report me in chat afterwards because I was wasting his time. How dare I farm for blood points, and that I was supposed to chase him for the whole game.
I thought about being a toxic killer Once I finish unlocking all the perks I want and level up my killers of choice. But now I decided that once I do get to where I want to be, I will just never chase tbagging flashlight clicking turds. They want to be toxic, I’ll withhold the chase from them.
And I will always farm with survivors if someone suicides in first hook, or dcs. It’s not fair for their teammates. Devs need to do something such as reduce the amount of generators required for each dc.
-
No, make flashlights work on survivors too. If trapper can step in his own traps, survivors should be able to blind themselves.
