i think killers should be able to mori the last survivor as basekit, bc being able to mori all survivors on death hook doesnt really make sense lore wise, bc if the killer moris us, we arent being sacrificed to the entity.
As for the cages, i think skill checks would be better, but honestly, i would just prefer just doing nothing.

wait, they brought it up and just hand waved it or something? i didnt see the Q&A yet

Hag is not fun to play against when you get Hags that love using Pop or other game slow-down perks. They're overkill for most matches and make games unfun to play and don't actually affect the matches where a Hag is getting destroyed because of SWF or just a really good group of solo survivors that know how to play against Hag.
Otherwise, I love playing against Hag. I think she's a blast (except for lunge connections, then it's NOT a blast).
Things like Sprint Burst also work well against Hag, who uses her power to get herself to stationary spots.
pop and other slowdown perks isnt my issue with hag.
my issue with hag is the fact that her traps jerk your camera around, basically forcing a mistake.
Secondly, i hate her basement camping potential.
Last: i fking hate mint rag MYC hag

Is there a notification to survivors that undying is in play?
no, but if you have ruin, and they hear a hex totem break, but the ruin notification doesnt go away, then they kinda just know.

I feel myself dramatically improving with him each day, landing more and more difficult hits.
The only problem is he's so short you can literally lose people behind waist-high walls, and then tracking them again is hard because the scratches are difficult to see at such a low angle.
If they fix his perspective I'll be VERY happy with him. Having him be a 2 foot tall goblin actually hurts his potential greatly.
if they make him at least legion height, then ill actually consider getting him.

Hag already has plenty of counterplay that some survivors just don't feel like doing, so they complain instead. She's fine, but I agree we might start seeing "she's unfun to play against, so nerf her" threads once some other killers get nerfed. Some survivors want to play the exact same way in every game and win easily, and I can't imagine what would even be fun about that.
To answer your other question, Small Game tells you when there's a trap so it's kind of good against her (kind of...).
i guess so. i only see a good hag player like.... once every 4 months, so i cant really learn what to do against her. when i see a good hag, its like hurgghh!!!!! then my camera gets jerked around, then i get smacked bc i was forced to walk into her phantasm.

@gibblywibblywoo said:
Hag is perfectly fine. If anything she needs her flashlight counter removed so SWf stops walking all over her.
idk i think hag is pretty top tier. soon i think we will see "hag has been over performing, thus she will get an overheat bar"

pallets are pretty bad vs SWF. i can attest to this.
me: both pallets in that one room are fake.
my friends: ok *drops both pallets*

It is not, though it must be.
currently i dont think it is. but with this definition, it would.
so would demo, and pig

has anyone done undying haunted grounds yet?
-
the addon should only reveal survivors while in slam. then maybe have the aura linger for like 0.2s

"Blight players are evolving"
Is it just me or does it feel like Killers are the ones more likely to adapt? Survivors pretty much do the same 3 things. Pallet loop, DS, Gen rush.
to be fair.... aside from DS, pallet loop and gen rush are literally the only thing a survivor CAN do. the devs dont give us many options. What do you want us to do? run around looking for a chest aside from doing gens?

How about my idea?
- You can see the auras of survivors that are working on the generators within the power's effective range.
Seeing repair progress is also a super nice idea. But how would you determine the intensity ? Add a new color? Since white and yellow are reserved and red is the default generator aura.
for DBD, white is usually used to indicate progress. Buckle up uses a white aura for downed survivors that are 95%

Call me crazy but didn't it work like that in the past?
it used to, but the healing speed bonus used to be really bad, so they buffed the bonus to 50% but then nerfed the requirement to use it

Its a killer bug this wont get fix this fast you can expect this bug to last until the next chapter and maybe even more. Just take nurse for example she is bug and they still did not fix her the same with sound
i mean... i the hill glitch primarily affected survivors, and even that took a few weeks to fix.
-
Trapper: TAKE ME DADDY
Wraith: ya got some real cool cosmetics
Billy: you are one of the most fun killers to vs if the player is moderately competent
Nurse: pro nurses are so cool to watch
Mickie: *insert halloween theme*
Hag: i dont see you that much, and thats nice
Doctor: uhhhhh...... nice baton?
Huntress: when your latency is good, you're quite nice to vs!
Bubba: uhm...... your chili is really good
Pig: best pallet stun noise EVER
Clown: despite being so overweight, he still tries his best to get a good workout by chasing survivors. thats admirable.
Spirit: you're not.... the worse to go against....
Plag: gimme more food momma bird
ghostie: nice knife wipe animation bro
Demo: the bestest boi
Oni: Really intense to vs. lots o fun
PH: his ability to be extremely unfun really amazes me!
Freddy: the ability he has to lag TF out of me really amazes me!
Legion: I love the way i have to hold M1 for longer!
Deathslinger: he isnt as unfun as he could be cough cough pyramid head.
Blight: undetectable blight is scawy. just chillin on a gen, then suddenly... KKKKRRRRHHGGGGGG
-
its a new killer. you cant expect to apply any good pressure at a killer you just picked up. Give it a few days.
-
Freddy always caused me to stutter, but since the update, its been far worse.
I will randomly, but not too terribly often, stutter at the start of the game
Opening chests causes me to stutter sometimes.
-
i know this is a bit of a meme at this point.... but you didnt apply any pressure.
you knew where the survivors were, seeing as there was one literally right in front of you at 2:15, and the fact that 2 gens popped, giving you the location of the survivors.
BBQ not showing auras is kinda irrelevant. you already knew where they were.
also, while i know there werent too many chances to get an M1 while in T2 in this video, you still should be trying to do that, seeing as you have sloppy.
also, seeing as you have M&M and dead rabbit, i would suggest that you try using infection fright if you have it. Thats a really huge TR if you down someone in T3, slugging in T3 is pretty scary for survivors especially if you can have 1 downed, and start chasing another survivor. another survivor is forced to come off gens and slow the game down.
take my advice/opinions with a grain of salt, im not some mlg pro gamer, and i dont play too much killer either. my advice comes from what ive seen as a survivor main.
best of luck in your next games btw.
this is the amount of pressure you should aim for:
-
he doesnt drop it bc its a biohazard. i mean come on! its pandemic season rn!
-
everything used to look like a literal potato. i kinda miss the good ole taters.

It should only count for altrusitic actions. Being able to prevent gen grabs while BT is active sounds seriously broken.
only unhook actions bro.

@Blueberry said:
I actually like the idea of making it better at preventing face camping. However, the cooldown isn't enough.
I think BT should be either a one time use or it will transfer the blocked hit to the rescuer.
While I would like it to be better for facecamping, the perk is currently too strong even before giving it this buff imo. Just like the other second chance perks it's currently game swinging, with zero downsides, and easily abusable.
transferring hits would just give the face-camping bubba someone else to facecamp. thats why im against hit transferring

I like BT as it is now, not being able to interrupt actions just sounds annoying, and that timer is wayyyyyyy too much imo.
not being able to be interrupted is to counter facecamping, and the looooong CD is to make sure it cant be abused too hard.

Tryna figure out if OP left out the healing perks because they don't need changes or because people forget altruism exist XD
I don't see We'll Make It, For the People, Botany Knowledge, Inner Strength....
Then again, I don't feel like I saw Object of Obsession either and that's one that a lot of people complain about
both. alos inner strength isnt altruism since you heal yourself. But yea. most altruism perks dont really need too much of a change imo. except maybe no one left behind.
-
ill be honest, and say that im not 100% certain as to what to do to loop a PH. Im just kinda hoping i can make them miss.
THB i think that PH needs a longer attack cooldown after lifting his blade out of the ground, so if the PH doesnt commit to using his ranged attack, the survivor can run slightly further before getting M1ed, allowing them to maybe vault a window or pallet.
Alternatively, we could put the ranged attack on an 8s cooldown, so he cant just spam it if he misses.
Of course, i thin PH deserves a buff if his ranged attack gets changed.
-
you only die to a console player if you're playing like one.

not bad, but not really that good either
legion already has alot of detection in his power alone and 10s exhaustion is way too weak
i mean... would you rather it be 90s like huntress XD
-
i want the ability to roast the console players. and they cant type back fast enough to roast me back lmao.
-
i dont always get facecamped, but when i do, the other survivors will spend the entire game trying to unhook me; dying in the process.

1:20
Hey thats me!
-
mean... you didnt even mori them, judging by the skulls.
Also the only time i would be toxic to a freddy is if they did forever freddy. you didnt even have any gen regression perks.
-
its called the dumb tech, bc if it actually fools the killer, the killer is dumb.
if the survivor dies, the survivor looks dumb. :)
-
in that PH's defense, it WAS the EGC. what else was he supposed to do? If there were gens still left, then yeah the PH is a being hella toxic.
But since its EGC, i cant really blame the PH.
-
that would be a fair trade i suppose
-
ya lost me at the first bullet. lmao. 11/10 post though ahaha.
-
i was about to say "not all SWF are sweaty tryhards", but then i saw the builds.... god damn.... those builds....
from a survivor main that mostly plays in SWF... good job!
-
stand still and crouch or something idk
-
Moris should be on death hook. otherwise, survivors also need an iridescent offering that gives them a gameplay advantage too. Such as... Iridescent Wood: call upon the entity to rebuild 1 pallet every time a generator is completed. Does not stack.
Keys shouldnt let ANY survivors escape via hatch. If only a single survivor could escape via hatch, then they are screwing the rest of the team. Survivors should be allowed to yeet themselves out of the game, whilst screwing over the rest of the team. Just give dull key 20s of use, and lets keys have a very weak use without addons, such as opening the gate faster.
-
was this post written like this bc of @SpaceCoconut ? i approve
And just like GamingHulk, i like the first one the most. It seems the simplest version to code, and is still quite strong. However, i think the "until an exit gate is opened" requirement is a bit too strong/weak depending on how the exit gates spawn. If the exit gates are miles apart, then i would say this is weak/balanced. If the exit gates are very close, or if you hook a survivor near the gates, then cruel limits becomes insanely OP since it ends up forcing the survivors to initiate EGC. So perhaps it should instead block all windows in the realm for 40s instead of 30s.
The second version seems like it would be a bit tricky to code, and would be rife with bugs and other issues.
The third version would just cause survivors become insanely triggered, and we would see millions of posts to have the perk deleted.
