They were absolutely horrible at first, but then I took advantage of the prestiges shown in the lobby to dodge every congregation of P0 default survivors. I'll take one if the rest of the lobby looks experienced, but two or more and I'm out. Since then, it's gotten tolerable again, but gens are definitely slower than they used to be.

I haven't actually faced that much tunneling (camping, yes, but camping's easier to deal with), but Thana and Overcharge-plus-CoB are everywhere. Even been seeing some DL + Gift of Pain builds. Lots of Legions, too. Can't say I appreciate that on top of the already slow generators.

I still face a lot Legions/Plague's with Thana/Gift Of Pain/Plaything/Pentimento, which is unappreciated because gens are already a pain. Thankfully I haven't ran into any Overcharge/COB builds yet and the camping and tunneling seemed to simmer down a bit tonight. But yeah, definitely going to keep a lookout for the prestige icons now because it seems like prestige level is associated with skill now.

  • Ok a few things:

    - Gens are a complete slog, unless you're facing a skilled SWF. Survivors complain about slow down perks because it makes the game a complete snooze fest.

    - Camping and tunneling was actually buffed because the hook timer still remains the same while gens were increased. Basekit BT and OTR are complete jokes and do not prevent camping and tunneling, they only delay the inevitable.

    - Body blocking and sabotaging are completely valid, as they take skill and teamwork. Flashlight blinds can be a bit ridiculous, but most of the time they are correct and they actually take skill to use.

I can agree with the map issues though, as some maps are completely ridiculous, such as Gideon and RPD. However, mind gaming is still possible in some loops. And I would like to also point out that solo Survivors took a major hit after this update and are in need of buffs to match the level of SWF.

  • I have a seething hatred for Nemesis, both playing against him and as him, so I'm going with Mr. Triangle Man. He's a lot of fun to play and I even enjoy going against him.

  • Yes, I saw a video of it and it's visuals gave me a major headache and I also felt a bit nauseous as well. This is a challenge that I'm flat out going to refuse to do until/if it gets fixed. I really hope this gets changed.

  • I'm still a little unsure about it considering Halloween Kills was a complete mess and just a boring filler movie. But I'm probably going to go see it anyway since October is scary movie month for me. Hopefully its better than the previous film.

  • Sprint Burst is perfectly fair. You have to walk everywhere just to get use out of it and it doesn't gain you that much distance in the first place. Leave it alone. Killers need to stop complaining about perks that are actually decent and balanced for survivors. Just because they're becoming meta doesn't mean they need a nerf.

  • A lot of the survivor's facial expressions got messed up this update. Hopefully they get fixed.

  • Yeah I've seen a video about these Clown bugs. Ironically these bugs make him better, but they need to be fixed because infinite wall hacks is just plain unfair.

  • Well, this is what the killers wanted. Easy 4k's and no ways for survivors to help themselves (AKA the perk nerfs). Survivors are leaving or switching to killer, nobody wants to play a role where there's no chance of winning.

  • Zarina and Cheryl.

Zarina deserves a tome because she's a great character and there's plenty of ways to extend her backstory. That also means a new Zarina outfit. Cheryl is also a good character and it would be interesting to see her life after the events of Silent Hill 3. Also that would mean we would get an outfit for her that we can mix and match.

  • It's a stupid change. Quiet chest searching and cleansing/blessing doesn't make much of a difference, so decreasing the speeds of those interactions was just a bad and unnecessary move.

  • - Solo survivor improvements, such as base kit Kindred and DS. And/or the icons that can tell what your teammates are doing.

    - Survivor BP gain improvements. Add more BP gain to certain actions and new interactions.

    - ACTUAL perk improvements. Not the Pharmacy and Calm Spirit nonsense that we got this patch, as those were barely buffs to begin with.

    - All killer second chance perks deactivate in Endgame. If survivors second chance perks get deactivated during endgame, then killer's should as well.

    - Nerfs to tunneling and camping or at least interactions/objectives that promote the killer to go away from hooked survivors and have their focus elsewhere.

    - Make generators more interactive! Gens are boring, especially now with the increased gen time. Make them more interactive, like finding parts around the map and installing them onto gens. This will also solve "gen rushing" issues as well.

    - Add a required second objective for survivors. This could be finding parts for gens or something else. This would make the survivor experience a bit better and give killers a bit more time.

    - Increase the hooked timer to 4 minutes. Since gens take longer, killers know they can just camp to win. So increasing the hooked timer will give killers less of a reason to camp.

  • Even if survivors did try there'd still be no point because they're gonna die either way. No point in trying in a game where one side is always guaranteed to win.

  • For survivor, Kate. She is full of hope and determination, as mentioned in her lore and is even described as a "hopeful songbird" in game.

  • Definitely Kate. She is described as kind and nice in her lore, so much so that she was able to fight off the Entity at one point. Second place goes to Zarina.

  • Doctor. Second place would be Clown or Trickster.

  • I agree that survivor has gotten significantly worse since the update, especially for Solo Survivors. DH needed the change, though.

  • No, Call Of Brine is fine. It's easily counterable and one of the few good regression perks left.

  • Yes, I've been playing mostly killer since the update released. I tried survivor (I mainly play solo) the past two nights and that was a miserable experience. Tunneling and camping killers and incompetent teammates that would rather crouch in a corner than do gens or help their teammates. Solo Survivors needs buffs direly.

  • Ok, that's enough internet for today. 😐

  • It's good, but very situational (At least the Endurance part of it). Can really help against tunneling in some aspects.

  • Yeah, I don't really care for this rift. 90% of it are recolors and boring charms. And I don't care for Jonah or Blight, they're both boring characters. The only thing I want is the Mikaela skin because it looks really pretty and she's kind of grown on me.

  • Yeah, I voted for set B because of the Yun-Jin cosmetic, but I also loved the others shown too. Too bad that it's likely not going to win, considering the amount of votes for set A. :-(

  • Iron Will was overly nerfed. The exhaustion penalty should be removed and the percentages for the grunts of pain should be at least 95%.

The DS stun time definitely needs to be reverted to 5s. As expected, the 3s is an absolute joke and the deactivation in endgame just makes the perk pointless.

  • Yeah, something doesn't look right. Her facial animations are probably bugged.

I've seen Cheryl's face bugged out before, but not to that extent. Poor Cheryl.

  • Ok, but let's not forget killers had their meta perks nerfed as well. Dead Hard needed the change, tbh as it was very unhealthy for the game. Same things with gen speeds, although they could make gens a bit more interactive to make them more fun. The DS, Self Care, and Iron Will changes are ridiculous though and shouldn't have went through as they were. Same thing goes for the Ruin and Corrupt Intervention changes.

Honestly, this update needs time before anything can be concluded.

  • It's not as bad as I expected, but most of the perk changes were still ridiculous. And this new update is bringing this new "Endurance meta" for survivors and "Thanatophobia/Dying Light/Pentimento" meta for killers, which is quite annoying. Also no improvements for Solo Survivors, which is the biggest issue with this update.

  • It could possibly be a bug. There was a bug on Coldwind not too long ago that had hooks spawn right next to each other, so it may have returned.

  • I love Scourge Hook perks, but I wish there were some better ones. Pain Resonance is the only good one so far.

  • I'm only saying this because this new Endurance meta is getting annoying already. Yeah, gens take a long time, but it was kind of needed and even with the new changes gens still go by fast. Most of the perk changes were BS though.

  • I own all of the Silent Hill and Resident Evil legendaries and I love them all and play them quite regularly. If you really like a legendary character, then it's definitely worth buying.

  • I've been maining her since she was introduced into the game and she is really fun to play as. She's one of the best killers in the game and you can do a lot with her power once you learn how it works. She also has some of the best cosmetics in the game as well, so that's a plus to everything else.

  • I'm probably just going to stick to playing just killer when the patch drops. Solo survivor is already hell, and this patch will definitely make it worse.

  • I feel like that it'd be fun and this game needs more game modes anyway.

  • Not really interested in using the portraits, but I might eventually use them on my mains if I feel like it.

  • Because survivors apparently aren't allowed to have strong perks. There is literally no reason for this nerf, they just nerfed Botany for the sake of it.

  • Yes, very much so. But tbh I wasn't expecting anything good. Self Care and DS still have their unnecessary nerfs, they unnecessarily nerfed Botany and OTR, Calm Spirit and Pharmacy buffs are still a complete joke. Yet the overturned Thanatophobia is still not changed and camping and tunneling got mega buffed. And no improvements for Solo Survivors whatsoever. Honestly, might as well stick to playing killer at this point if you don't have anybody to play SWF with.

  • There's no point to them anymore. The only reason why they're not removed is because now they're use for prestige upgrades.

  • Huntress - Dumpsteress

    Dredge - Turkey

    Wraith: Bing Bong Boi/Ding Dong.

    Trapper: Trap-Man

    Hillbilly: Billy Boi

    Pig: Miss Piggy

    Clown: Big Boi

Twins: I don't have a nickname for Charlotte, but I call Victor Gremlin.

    Nemesis: Nemmy/Johnny/Nemesus/Nemesoos

    Deathslinger: Dumbslinger/Cowboy Joe/Cowboy

Pyramid Head: Red Pyramid (Thing)/Red/Triangle Head

    Artist: Birdy Lady/Birdy/Bird Queen

    Bubba: Fat Man/Big Boy

    Freddy: Frederick/Fredward

    Hag: Stick Lady/Hagatha

    Trickster: Trickstar/Dumbster

    Blight: Goblin/Bleet/REE!/Scream Man

    Demogorgon: Demo/Demoman

    Ghostface: Ghostie/Ghostie Boi

    Myers: Mikey Boi/Mikey/Sir Myers

    Nurse: Screechy

    Pinhead: Box Man

  • Artist - I love her power, cosmetics, backstory, and character design. I've been maining her since she came out.

Dredge - Because I love teleporting around the map and scaring survivors during Nightfall. Also because he's a monster like killer, which we don't have much of (Unless you count Demo).

Hag - I used to use Hag mainly for meme builds (like Moonwalking Hag and Stealth Hag) and now I'm liking her regular gameplay a lot more. At first I disliked her teleport, but now she's kind of growing on me. I still have a lot to learn with her main power, though.

Pig - I used to main Pig a long time ago, but I've stopped playing her for a few months due to game balance. Despite that, I've recently started playing her again and I still really like her power and her cosmetics, and I'm a huge fan of the SAW series. She is in desperate need of buffs, though. :-(

  • His ADS time is fine, but his terror radius can be reduced to at least 28 or 25 meters and his addons could use some buffs as well. Other than that, he's fine.

  • Because he is very boring to play against and the impaired vision from his bottles give me headaches and make me feel a little nauseous. But despite that, I don't really have any problems going against him. He's just one of those killers where I'm like "whatever", but also kind of hope that the match ends quickly, if that makes any sense at all.

  • I love using Call Of Brine and Pain Resonance. Even though Pain Resonance got nerfed, it's still a solid gen slowdown perk.

  • Nope, not in the slightest. The nerfed already bad perks or balanced perks into unplayable ones.

  • Probably COH/Inner Strength, Overcome/Lithe, Adrenaline, and Resilience.

  • Ok, as long as we punish killers for hitting survivors on hook and nodding when they down survivors.

T-bagging is fine. It's annoying and immature, but it's just a emote. It doesn't effect gameplay or balancing.

  • From worst to best:

    1. Pig

    2. Myers

    3. Clown

    4. Trapper

    5. Sadako

  • I absolutely love the Artist's outfit and can't wait until it comes into the game. Yui's is ok, but it kind of seems like her other outfits. The charms look awesome, though.
