Killers need more nerfs? ur joking right? Was thana and DMS not enough for you? Do you know that thana is now useless? Do you think legion can always get 4 injures when only one survivor needs to be healthy and thana does not even provide its full potential? by the time legion gets the 4 survivor, someone would have already healed. All the nonsense you blurt out is so biased towards survivors

I said Thana wasn't nerfed the right way, because it wasn't. It sucks on every other killer except Legion and Plague, the two killers that it was most problematic on. It should've been changed where it's not oppressive like it was, but still worked for every other killer. Also, DMS was barely nerfed to begin with. It still works like it used to and quite frankly it didn't really need nerfed. DMS + Pain Resonance still works the same as it did, so there wasn't really a reason to nerf DMS. And as I said, the PR+DMS combo is easily counterable, but it's still a dumb combo because most randoms don't know how to counter it.

And yes, killers needs some nerfs. Mainly weapon cooldown because STBFL is broken right now and it's nearly impossible to get away from the killer with the survivor Sprint speed nerfed as well. Basekit BT also needs buffed in some way because the current 5 seconds is a complete joke and killers can just wait it out or tunnel through it. Also, camping and tunneling has been worse than it's ever been with DS thrown into the bin, so that also needs to be addressed.

And honestly, this is getting beyond ridiculous. Every time players who play the survivor side have genuine issues/concerns about the survivor role and suggestions to fix it, killer mains will scream "survivor main" or "survivor biased" and complain about said proposed changes without providing any counter arguments or constructive criticism. It's getting tiring at this point.

  • Top 5:

Wraith - Wraiths are rare these days and if you do manage to get one, it's most likely a new player. Wraith is basically a basic M1 killer with weak stealth ability. His power isn't that effective for looping and he lacks map pressure.

Myers - Barely see Myers these days unless they're running infinite Tier 3 and/or Tombstone addons. Tier 1 Myers is a complete joke and practically impossible to catch survivors. The stealth aspect doesn't even work because Myers is a 7ft tall dude with a bright white mask that can be seen over any tile in the game. He's basically a M1 killer until he reaches Tier 3, which can take a while. Ultimately he's just not fun to play.

Trapper - He takes too much time to set up trap in the beginning of the game and he's basically a M1 killer with a power that can be disarmed. Experienced/Basement Trappers might have fun playing as him, but for an average player he's not fun to play in the slightest.

Twins - They are very unbalanced and they feel super clunky and slow to play. Plus downing a survivor as Victor is pointless because you have to switch to Charlotte to pick the survivor up, and usually by that time another survivor has revived them and they scurried off to do something else.

Trickster - He sucks at map pressure and has no power at tall loops. Not to mention he moves super slow.

  • Pick the one that you like the most or for the character you play the most.

Personally, I like Artist's outfit better as it looks more cool and I just love Artist in general. Dredge's outfit is cool too and probably one of the best they have, next to their Doll outfit. I play both Artist and Dredge, so I'm ultimately going to get both eventually, but will most likely prioritize Artist's over Dredge's since I've been maining her longer.

  • Artist isn't OP and can do perfectly fine without PR+DMS. And to be fair, Pain Resonance and DMS can easily be countered by letting go of the gen before a survivor is hooked. If you suspect the killer has it, let go of the gen you're working on for a minute and see if it explodes when the survivor is hooked. But the combo is still kind of dumb nonetheless.

The MoM nerf is ridiculous though and shouldn't have even been introduced. Now the perk is even more situational and useless. These unnecessary survivor nerfs need to stop.

Survivors definitely need buffs and killers need more nerfs accordingly. STBFL is one of the strongest killer perks in the game right now because of the weapon cooldown decrease and needs to be changed back to it's original numbers. Thana wasn't really nerfed the right way because it's still oppressive on Legion and Plague, the two killers that got the most benefit out of it. Survivor Sprint speed when hit needs to be reverted and killer's weapon cooldown needs to go back to where it was. Basekit BT also needs to be increased to 10 seconds so you can actually have enough time to get to a pallet or window to lose the killer.

  • No, survivors have suffered enough nerfs already.

  • Yep, MoM was already very situational and now it's going to be thrown into the dumpster. Meanwhile, PR + DMS gets brought back and Thanatophobia basically stays the same against Legion and Plague. Survivors aren't allowed to have anything strong while killer's get everything strong. This double standard when it comes to killers is ridiculous.

  • Because it's a survivor perk that is strong in some way. Clearly they don't know the first thing about balancing and perk design.

  • Because survivors aren't allowed to have strong perks while killer are, apparently.

  • It doesn't surprise me. They're just gonna keep unnecessarily nerfing survivors until survivors quit the game, apparently. Pain Resonance was fine and didn't need a buff and it's going to cause more issues now than it did before. The only good thing that came out of this was the Thana nerf.

  • I think it's funny how Huntress throws a tantrum when she gets stunned. And it's scarier than anything else in the game. XD

  • It's typical BM seen in every other online PvP game. It doesn't effect the game in any way, it's just very annoying.

  • Sole Survivor is basically useless, unless you are the last survivor alive and need to open the exit gates. It needs something other than it's current effects.

  • Oh really? Then I suppose that all the killers who were crying pre-patch just had skill issues, too.

  • Yeah, I think the "nerf" to Dead Hard actually made it better. I like that it's not basically a free health state anymore and it feels rewarding to actually use now. My only gripe with it is that the animation looks a little wonky and it feels a little slow. Other than that, it's perfect.

  • It's kind of stupid that an addon can just instantly remove everyone in the match.

  • With how killer sided this game atm combined with the massive increase in the grind and the BBQ/WGLF forever nerfs, it's no surprise people are leaving. The grind has become worse than it's ever been and that kind of just ruins the mood/motivation to play, especially the tiny amount of BP you get each game.

  • I hope so. I love Claire, she's one of my favorite RE characters, but DBD did her so dirty. I hope she receives a proper face rework, like what they did with Cybil when she first came out.

  • As soon as Dead Hard was mentioned, this post lost all credibility. Nobody is throwing a fit over the DH nerf. Survivors have genuine and valid complaints and all killer mains can say in response is "YoUr jUsT mAd ThAt DeAd HaRd WaS nErFeD" without providing any actual counter arguments to said concerns. It's just getting ridiculous at this point.

  • If you want to sit in the lobby for 20-40 minutes, then sure go right ahead.

You can't force players to stay in a game that they don't want to be in. They'll just go AFK or throw themselves at the killer if you deny them dying on hook. Also if players are constantly DCing and/or instantly giving up on hook, that shows that there's a problem/issue with the game.

  • This update is horrible, imo. There's a lot of issues with this update, such as solo survivor getting destroyed, killers becoming too strong, camping and tunneling getting indirectly buffed, and the grind being increased and worse than ever.

Of course killers got more than survivors it was supposed to be a killer sided patch. If the would of gave both side equal buffs it wouldn't of changed anything.

Survivors still got many perk buffs they took the BP from bbq and left the perk but took the BP from WGLF and buffed it. They made hope last all endgame buffed some gen speed perks. Survivors got stuff they just didn't get as much as or more the killers for the first time in along time.

You honestly sound like a little kid that's throwing a fit because there sibling got mote presents then them.

I'm bad at wording things and explaining things at times, and at that time I was tired and kind of rushed that comment, so allow me to simply/explain it a bit more clearly: I was simply just listing some examples of killer buffs and survivor nerfs and didn't really mention the point I was trying to originally make. As I said, the survivor perk buffs were a complete joke. None of them are useful and killers got way bigger buffs in comparison. The issue is that survivors were overly nerfed and killers were overly buffed in the same patch, making the game completely unbalanced and miserable as survivor. Solo took a huge hit as well as they are not with the same level as SWF. Both sides should be equally balanced with each other, not one side more powerful than the other. That being said, both sides should be held to equal standards. That's the point I was trying to make, but I kind of went off track a bit.

Also, I'm allowed to have my own opinion, so please don't throw petty insults at me just for having a different opinion and view. That doesn't solve anything or contribute to the discussion.

  • Yep. Solo is practically unplayable and survivors were overly nerfed. Killers had everything handed to them, survivors got nothing. Survivor is miserable now.

  • Yes, it counts as a kill. But some survivors do that to be petty because dying grants less points to the killer than being sacrificed.

Green keys are good though? Keys are still viable mainly because of the addons and green keys have 5 seconds more than purple on top of being the easiest to obtain. They only are useless when obtained from chest.

Yeah, that's kind of what I meant. Green keys are only good with addons, but by themselves they're useless.

  • Please just delete the broken key already. It's the most useless item in the game. Green maps aren't very good, but at least keep the rainbow maps. A lot of offerings need removed too, like Luck and Blueprint offerings. But yeah, I like the idea of new items being introduced and some of the old (and useless) ones being retired.

    You are so wrong omg.

Survivors got many buffs in this patch, BT basekit, perks buffs.

The only nerf you got is dead hard lmao

Nope, survivors didn't get nothing. The perk "buffs" aren't even buffs to begin with. Calm Spirit and Pharmacy "buffs" made the perks worse. The only perk buff that was good was the OTR buff, but even then it's still very situational. Self Care, Iron Will, and DS were unnecessarily nerfed into uselessness. And basekit BT is an absolute joke, 5 seconds is literally nothing. The DH "nerf" actually made the perk better, imo. Also all survivor second chance perks deactivate in Endgame while killer's do not. How is that even remotely fair? Basic survivor mechanics and gens were also nerfed.

Killers got everything. A buff to camping and tunneling, buffs to every basic killer mechanic, buffs to gen regress/slowdown perks. And their meta barely changed while survivors were forced to change theirs. So which side really got benefited here?

  • Ha, very funny. Killers got everything and survivors got nothing this patch. Killers got all of these basekit and perk buffs and all survivors got was a ton of unnecessary nerfs and a laughable 5 second basekit BT, which does nothing. Not to mention solo survivor took a massive hit and is basically dead now. The survivor meta was forced to change and the killer meta stayed the same. The game became very killer sided after this patch.

  • Eh, both Red Forest and Swamp need to be reworked. As much as I hate the new graphics, the gameplay on these maps are atrocious.

  • Yes, they are. The survivor nerfs also buff killer in way.

    - Camping and tunneling got indirectly buffed. Camping got buffed because of longer gen times without increasing the hook timer. Tunneling got buffed because DS was nerfed into uselessness and killer's can just wait out the basekit BT or just tunnel through it.

    - Most gen regress/slowdown perks were over buffed. Thanatophobia and Overcharge are prime examples of this.

    - Most survivor perks were nerfed into uselessness while killer's were barely effected.

    - The survivor meta was forced to change while the killer meta stayed exactly the same.

    - Survivor's second chance perks get deactivated in endgame, but killers do not.

    - Solo Survivors literally have no chance of escaping now.

Killer is easy street compared to survivor. Killers are getting 3-4ks every match while survivors barely have a chance to escape.

  • Mainly going against him constantly and his power just feels really bad when playing as him. Tier 1 Nemesis feels really bad especially and the tentacle hit box is a bit janky. Also his zombies get stuck most of the time and you have to go over and destroy them so they can respawn. Just not a fun experience.

  • This is going to be hard, but I think I'm going to go with Zarina, Cheryl, and Mikaela. Nea and Kate are very close too.

  • Ghostface is fine.

We should not be getting free escapes at endgame either. I'd rather actually be challenged and have to earn my escapes, but looks like you disagree?

Yes, I do agree that survivors should not get free escapes in endgame. But killers shouldn't get free kills in endgame, either. How is it fair that DS and OTR deactivates in endgame but NOED and Rancor stays the same?

Yeah Artist also has some awesome Skins :D before Dredge i was a Twins Main and i mostly used P3 Skin because i dont liked the other Skins :(

Yeah, sadly Twins don't have that many great outfits. I wish they would get some cool cosmetics along with some buffs.

  • Dredge's cosmetics are probably some of the best ones in the game, along with Artist's. Their cosmetics are part of the reason why I started maining them.

  • Yeah, his power is the reason why he's the best killer to camp with. His power should be put on hold when he's a certain amount of distance near a survivor or he should only be able to use one charge when near a hooked survivor.

  • Hopefully it's just a bug. It wouldn't really make sense to change it in the first place.

  • Midwich.

I love the atmosphere and design of the map, and the little references/Easter eggs to the first game. The gameplay is also good on this map as well.

However, I really dislike that you can see really far down the hallways and the hooks spawns. The hook spawns are really messy, hooks can spawn very spaced out where there's no chance in hooking survivors and sometimes hooks don't even spawn on entire floors. Gen spawns are awful as well.

  • Legion is an absolute pain to deal with. Thana/Gift Of Pain/Pentimento/Plaything are common builds on them and they make the game absolutely miserable. Usually all survivors are dead by 3 gens left and most of the time they slug for the 4k.

Plague and Nurse are tied in second place.

  • I wish they would unlink her green cosmetics, but sadly that never going to happen considering Konami is very stingy when it comes to making money. They could've at least included separate jeans that match with her tank tops (Like the outfits she had in SH3).

  • Then can we at least have a few matches where killers don't camp and tunnel at 5 gens and run every slowdown perk in existence? Because that's why most survivors are giving up right now. The game is literally unwinnable for survivor at this point.

  • Because it's the only perk in the game where you can rely on yourself for healing. Yeah there's perks like Inner Strength, Second Wind, or others but those are very limited while Self Care isn't. Most survivors don't care if it takes longer.

  • No, NOED is very unhealthy for the game and should've gotten a harder nerf. Killers should not be able to get free kills at endgame.

  • It's a balancing issue, not a blood point issue. Getting the BP incentives fixed isn't going to help killer queue times. If killer's weren't overly buffed and survivors overly nerfed, we wouldn't be having this issue.

  • So does that mean there's one less gen on the map or it just spawns in a different location? Also this is a weird encounter, most likely a big though.

  • I wouldn't mind it, as it would actually help against killers like Blight and Nurse who can catch up to you and down you again in 1 second. And it wouldn't effect M1 killers that much.

  • He could get infinite Haste and aura reading (with an addon) with his bottles.

Yeah, that's pretty much most of my matches as well. Solo Survivors need buffs direly.
