Yes. The worst part is, they just nerfed perks just because they were meta. And no thought or care was put into them.
They destroyed Self Care, Iron Will, Spine Chill, DS, WGLF, Ruin, Corrupt Intervention, BBQ, and Pop without a second thought. None of those perks were unbalanced or OP, they just nerfed them just to nerf them. And they didn't even question why they were meta in the first place.
This update wasn't made to shake up the meta, it was made to bring in a new meta. And it's going to make the grind 10 times worse than it currently is.

I very rarely see her. I went against her twice in a row a couple days ago after like 1 month but that's it.
-
It's basically Forever Freddy all over again. Sitting on gens is boring as is, no need to make them impossible to do.
-
None. They don't care about solo players.
-
Because of laziness. They don't want to give out an actual reward. If you don't want to bring back legacy cosmetics, fine, but at least give us some iridescent shards and/or BP. Even a charm would be better than this. All that hard work and for nothing but a crummy, low budget filter and a silly little icon. Pathetic.
-
Gens are boring as is and old Corrupt was fair, imo.
-
It makes hooking actually skillful and to make killers manage their hooks. It's like how survivors have to manage their gens to avoid getting a 3 gen. Survivors manage their gens, killers manage their hooks.
-
I've always wanted Robin in the game and now after fully watching Season 4, I want Eddie in the game as well. Sadly, it will probably never happen.
-
Then how about we make it so survivors can see the auras of Hex totems and can hear them from miles away? /s
Boons are fine. You can hear when they're activated, when they are near, and you can snuff them out and potentially destroy them, if you bring Shattered Hope. That's more than enough counterplay.
-
I have about 38 saved on Artist and 35 saved on Dredge (one of my new mains). My survivors only have a few of them, except for Haddie who has I think about 20 of them.
-
If Nurse is receiving so many complaints, don't you think there's something wrong? She's one of the most unbalanced killers in the game and is in dire need of a rework.
-
Because I like to hoard items and I play solo, so I know there's only like a 2% chance I'm going to get it back.
-
Agreed. Self Care is just not worth bringing anymore. It helps the killer more than yourself.
-
1. Midwich. One of the scariest maps in the game and I love the little Easter eggs and jumpscares.
2. Haddonfield. It feels like it was taken straight out of Halloween.
3. Garden Of Joy. I love that everything looks stopped in time and the main house looks good. I love the upsidedown room.
-
Yeah, I swear the Rifts get grinder and grinder each time a new one comes out. The only reason why I finished this one was because of the login rewards and doing a couple of challenges in the event tome. I did a few challenges in the normal rift too, but most of my fragments we're earned via gameplay. I didn't even bother with the fourth tier.
-
Trickster and Sadako have unnecessary lullabies. Huntress's is fine though and it would be kind of weird playing against her without it. Plus it's part of her lore.

It´s the nickname, not the globe icon.
Next time read the thread before answering.
I was replying to the main thread, not the comments. Nothing in the main thread stated anything about nicknames. And I'm not going to say anything else because others have explained it already.

From a PC and console player,
Please stop assuming that PC players are the only ones with the cross play symbol. There's also PS4/PS5/Xbox/Windows/Switch players. This PC vs Console nonsense needs to stop.

So survivors deserve free escapes from OTR? And NOED got nerfed already, it already had counter play, now it has more. And I never use it anyways, it was always a risky perk and even more now. OTR in its current state at end game has no counter play, and is the true free escape over the gamble of NOED.
The NOED nerf was hardly a nerf in the first place. And no, survivors don't deserve free escapes but killers don't deserve free kills either. For example, Rancor is completely fine but OTR isn't? Rancor is completely uncounterable during endgame, all you can really do is hide and hope the killer doesn't find you. With OTR you can just tunnel the person using it out of the game.
-
Honestly, normal Blight is fine. It's when he brings Alchemist's Ring + Blighted Crow and/or performs his "techs" that are uncounterable. Honestly just remove Alchemist's Ring and he'll be fine.

Its not fine, it needs to deactivate when the gates are powered just like DS will now. Otherwise its just the new, better DS, and makes endgame for killer a nightmare.
Killers don't deserve free kills in Endgame. NOED is still a big problem, so something is needed to counter that. And since DS is getting thrown into the dumpster, the only option left is OTR. If killers want every second chance perk to deactivate in Endgame, then their second chance perks (such as NOED) should be deactivated in Endgame as well.

1. No, Nurse is very unhealthy for the game.
2. Yes, especially for perk balancing. Starstruck is a huge example of this. It's average and balanced on every other killer, but on Nurse it's OP because of her power.
3. You can play whatever you want. It's not that complicated.
-
Yeah, the auto-aim has always been bad. A survivor could be running next to a wall right in front of you, and it will still direct your hit towards the wall rather than the survivor. It's ridiculous.
-
"BuT nUrSe iS pErFeCtLy BaLaNcEd, YoU jUsT hAvE tO cOuNtEr HeR" - Every Nurse main ever.
The only reason why Nurse is so popular is because she is one killer that CANNOT be countered. She ignores every defense survivors have, has ridiculous map pressure, and can be downright overpowered especially with Starstruck, Agitation and other perks. Even experienced players have trouble against Nurse. She is an outdated killer from a different time of the game. She needs to be reworked or just straight up deleted.

Favorite: Artist, Dredge, Hillbilly
Least Favorite: Nurse, Bubba, Blight
-
There isn't a point. They just nerfed it to nerf it.
-
Licensed characters get less cosmetics as is, exclusives will make it worse. But they're probably going to implement it anyway, regardless of feedback. They've done it before.
-
It's useless now and not worth bringing.
-
Wasting billions upon billions of BP, losing perk slots, and losing all perks, items, addons, and offerings for several characters, and all for a silly icon that means nothing. There should be a better reward for all of that hard work.
-
Nope. Now it's pointless. I'm sticking to Overcome and/or Lithe.
-
With how much killers are crying about it, most definitely.
-
No, it's fine. It's only a 4% chance to unhook yourself, which is very little and you can't rely on your teammates as is.
-
No. Teammates would purposely start a healing action to troll or by just being plain bad.
-
Off The Record is fine, don't tunnel and it won't activate. Besides, it disabled whenever you progress the game. Overcharge is the real problem here.
-
Yes, I used to main Pig a while back but the current state of the game makes her miserable to play. She also is in dire need of buffs. Now I main Artist, because her power is very fun to use and I love everything about her.
-
Yes. DBD had it's own unique style back then, the maps had character and life, and the characters actually looked like survivors trying to survive/merciless killers. Now the maps are empty, generic, and lifeless and the characters lost all of their character/personality.

I suspect you are misunderstanding something here.
Yes, apparently I did. My mistake. But my opinion still stands. The upcoming buffs to swing cooldown and pallet breaking will make chases short and meaningless, that is something not needed in the game considering survivors are going to be nerfed to the ground along with said changes. And it just buffs camping more. So, these changes are still bad regardless.
-
That would make playing survivor impossible and give killers easy kills. Survivors have to manage gens, killers have to manage hooks. It's a fair trade.
-
As someone who has Lisa as one of their mains, I have to agree. Some characters are just flat out too loud. More prime examples are Jeff, Jane, and Bill all of which that I can hear even when they're far away from me. If the Iron Will nerf goes through (which I really hope it doesn't), those characters will probably never be played by a majority of players.
-
I think it's well balanced, The only real issue is the house considering that there's like 3 windows that can create infinites.
-
Just went against a subtle speed hacking Feng a couple of games ago. She tried hiding them, but I saw them activate going around a corner. Then I got paired with a hacking Jeff a few weeks ago (He was running at Sprint Burst speed when the killer wasn't around, speed crawling across the map where the killer couldn't find him and he was instantly healing teammates). It doesn't happen as often as it used to (thankfully), but I still occasionally see hackers from time to time.
-
It should be changed in a different way.
-
You still get to keep and use them once the event is over. They will no longer be obtainable after the event ends, though.
-
I loved Until Dawn, but I'm waiting for the price to come down before trying The Quarry out. 70$ is WAY too much for a game, especially one with limited re-playability.
-
I see her a lot along with Blight and Nemesis. I wish I didn't.
-
No thank you. Killer swing cooldown and breaking animations are already getting buffed, adding this would make it nearly impossible to escape against a killer.
-
This happens due to bad planning. The Entity prioritizes perks in the blood web, so it's best to unlock at least one perk before the Entity enters the blood web and begins to take things.
-
According to Heather's in game lore though he's dead, so idk how that would work lore-wise. But I would love to see Harry in the game.
-
I don't like playing on it as killer or survivor. As killer, it's frustrating to get pallet stunned every 5 seconds and have the survivors run straight to the next pallet that is only 5 meters away. As survivor, it's just an easy win making the game as boring as all possible.
